The Paguro Family from Pixar's Luca. I would have added in Uncle Ugo as well, but I had trouble finding the right render of him; but when people think of the Paguro family they don't always include him. (Don't ask me why as I don't know the main reason for it either.)

Day 61

We're back to my Ship of the Week segment after the holidays furnally!!! This time, it's for an obscure film you could only get through purrating sites!:

'In Which Society Is A Dystopia Where Seadwellers Have to Hide From Landwellers. Two Young Violetbloods Get Out Of the Water, Hiding Their True Indentities, Befriend a Loudmouthed Rustblood, and Train To Win a Bike Race Together. One Of Them Gets Jealous and Tries To Out Himself Along With His Friend, but He Is Betrayed. The Bike Race Happens and They All Come Together Regardless, Forgiving Each Other, and the Town Accepts The Boys Even With the Realization of Their True Hue. There Is 11 Hugs and 6 Scenes With Prolonged Eye Contact.'

Karkitty drecommended me this film, and gave me a link! Through the end, I can now see why it'd be one he'd keep around. <:]

The story was so touching! Two boys hiding in a society that thinks they should not exist! One wants freedom from his opprssive lusii, the other just wants to stop being alone. They cling to each other as they hide among the land-dwellers, rooming in with their new jade-blooded companion, Giulia (another reject from this society as she stays away from her colony with her big lusus instead.).

It's purrty clear that the two boys were meant to be moirals to mewchother, but with their new furiend taking more attention away, Lberto starts feeling threatened! 33': He doesn't want to be left behind!

Jealousy makes him out himself, and try to out Luucah too! His furiend betrays him though... and Lberto becomes depuressed ;w; Luucah drealizes his mistake and tries to make up for it by winning their bike race alone! However, he gets put in danger of risking his identity!! And who comes to drescue him?

Lberto!!!! Even at his own safety's risk!! That's true drevotion! TwT They win! The town drefends them from jerks trying to kill them! And drespite Luucah leaving to go learn more things with Giulia, he purromises to come back and visit Lberto!

They may be sepurrating, but their love fur mewchother is clear! Watching the boys cry and hug made me and Karkitty tear up too!! It may not have crossed through to redrom in the movie, but we agree that with time that it has so much purrtential to do so <:33

It's a shame the film could not be shared more in the past, it's really sweet! :'o But of course, due to its controversial furntasy setting, it'd be hard for anyone to suggest it! I'm so glad Karkitty saved it, and watched it with me 💚

can we talk about the details in challengers though bc yes the churro scene but patrick hooking a foot under the stool next to him so art will sit closer to him. patrick swiping through all the girls but taking a minute to swipe the guy on the app. the beds pushed together. the mirroring action of art spitting his gum in tashi's hand now and in patrick's hand then. everything, just everything.
