So, darling @gamerknight7310 and I got bored and decided to share our top ten favorite ships after seeing someone's post on the matter. So, let's just get into this:

10. Sidlink - Sidon x Link - Look, I know with the totk, we see Sidon is engage, but dammit all, I still ship them. I love the energy Sidon gives off in the first game, how uplifting he is to link, and the cute artwork that my friend showed me that shipped them. They spark some joy.

9. Jaspearl - Jasper x Pearl - I love the aesthetic of these two so much. The big buff warrior and the dainty pearl is just everything to me. And look, let's be honest, if anyone could tame Jasper, it would have been Pearl. Just saying. They spark some joy.

8. Stolandre - Stolas x Andrealphus - Say what you fucking will, I love these two. When all we had was Andrealphus's design, I shipped these two. It is toxic, it is dysfunctional, and I fucking love it. Plus I love the whole "Pity you married my sister and not me" fanart I've seen in the mix. It is fucking hilarious. They spark joy.

7. Stolitz - Stolas x Blitz - I am a whore for angst and these two are the fucking pinnacle. I love everything about them and the depths of their characters. They are endgame, and I am excited for what's to come. Bring it all on Viv! I'm ready. They spark joy.

6. Lukadrigaminette - Luka x Adrien x Kagami x Marinette - I do love all variations of the monogamous sets, but I do love having them all together. They create a perfect balance that just rounds everyone out and its perfection. They spark joy.

5. Julerose - Juleka x Rose - These two are so fucking cute together!! I just love seeing these two together and they are just perfection. Look at those two and tell me they aren't perfect. If you say they aren't, you're lying. Stop it. Stop right now. They spark joy.

4. Bowuigi - Bowser x Luigi - Look, a friend got me on this ship and I fucking love it. I didn't at first, but the more I saw it, the more I loved it. There's just something about seeing Bowser with this bitch ass stringbean Italian plumber man that just makes me happy. Fanart is absolutely fire. They spark more joy.

3. Lukadrien - Luka x Adrien - Sorry to my fellow Lukanette shippers, but Lukadrien does come out on top. I love the dynamic these two could share, how they balance each other, and just the overall fluffy vibe. Or angst if you're a whore like me. They are everything Adrien is supposed to be - perfection. They spark more joy.

2. RadioApple - Alastor x Lucifer - Listen. LISTEN! The pure amount of serotonins I get seeing these two together in any capacity is fucking insane. I love seeing the rivalry, divorced dads that still (occasionally) want to fuck energy these two give off. They are just about my everything. Just about. They spark a lot of joy.

Hopurai - Lightning x Hope - Listen. LISTEN! I have shipped these two since I was in fucking high school. I honestly think Hope was more of a self-insert for myself at the time (Look, lightning is a fucking badass bitch and would) but as I got older, I have come to ship the older Hope with Lightning. I love the aesthetic, the dynamic, how deep their relationship is in canon, and how much they do genuinely care for each other. They are my top tier. They spark the most joy.

So, dear @celestiall0tus and I were talking a night ago and decided to share our own top ten favorite ships after seeing someone else's list, so here are mine while theirs will be on their blog.

10. Stelex |Steve x Alex|. It's one of the few ships I remember liking from back in middle school and it was later confirmed they were dating in a magazine. Can't remember why I obsessed over these two, but I love them all the same.

9. M&M |Moxxie x Millie. What can I say these two are adorable together. In a show literary in hell, these two are so wholesomely cute and I can't get enough of them.

8. RoyalFlush |Husk x Lucifer|. I know a lot of people ship Lucifer with Alastor, but I think these two are cute together. If written well, these two would make a cute couple.

7. Lukanette |Luka x Marinette|. I think these two should've been a couple over Adrinette, but that's just me. With Luka, she isn't a creepy stalker and it seemed love-wise, she didn't have any trouble unlike with Adrien, and I think they look cute together.

6. Adrigami |Adrien x Kagami|. Like with Lukanette, I think these two should've got together. With Kagami, Adrien would've had more courage to stand up against his father and love wise these two were cute plus Adrinette, in canon, can go SUCK A ...!

5. Magic Girl |Adrien x Sabrina|. I have to thank both L0tus and @generalluxun for this ship. I think these two together are adorable and the ship name comes from the Bloody Bug au where both of them have magical girl inspired outfits, but overall I think these two are cute together.

4. Munchies |Shaggy x Beelzebub|. A ship that I came up with at 2am while talking to L0tus and it's been my favorite crack ship ever since. Something about these two together makes me giddy and I like to share that wonder with y'all right here.

3. Lukadrigaminette |Luka x Adrien x Kagami x Marinette|. I think all of the love troubles in canon would've been solved if these four got together. They each compliment each other

2. Hiccstrid |Hiccup x Astrid|. I love watching the HTTYD series minus the latest one and these two are hands down one of my favorite ships. They are each others support and have been with each other ever since.

Spuddies |Me x Potatoes|. By far MY favorite ship in the entire world. Something about that potato goodness is so appealing to me that I can't think of anything else. Honestly a perfect match though that might be my opinion :3

so we know mari and kagami are canonically great artists and i also hc luka as one (cuz like look at him he probably makes logos and stuff and decorates his guitar) so theyre all like “omg lets have an art date itd be so cool” and then adriens like “yeah lmao i cant draw” so kagami being part of rich squad is like “im sure monsieur agreste wouldve sent you to art lessons” and hes like “yeah i know a lot about paintings and art forms but i cant even draw a line” and luka and mari are just giggling cuz how does The Adrien Agreste not know how to draw and so they make him draw all 3 of them as a date and make jokes and have fun but the moment someone makes an offhand comment about it that makes adrien sad the three go absolutely feral and then encourage adrien and show him their older sketchbooks and yeah

the next would be like sorta similar except it would be mari cuz adrien plays the piano and luka plays the guitar and i assume kagami would have learnt something like violin or something cuz yk rich kids and mari doesn’t have the time nor the money to buy a teacher and ig it would follow the same storyline but like 30degrees to the right

kagamis was videogames cuz we know mari and adrien are pros and luka is just that cool but kagamis grandma would be like “nO iTs nOt lAdYliKe” or something plus girl has just been introduced to manga theres no way she knows about videogames

lukas was chinese lmao i assume that since adrien has been helping mari with her chinese shes better than before even though the shanghai movie said lmao no do i look like i listen to canon and since adrien was taught chinese it is more than likely that so was kagami and so theyll be chatting away in chinese and luka would be like “w h a t” bit he wouldn’t say anything and one of them would say something to him and in chinese and hed just be like “mhm!” and theyd just stare at him for a few minutes before realising that luka does not know chinese

a bonus storyline for luka was him being the only one to have a sibling and the others are like i wish i had a sibling and hes like no you do not

Sunday, 01/23/2022: In Another Life (Marichat/Mariblanc) - When Chat Blanc escapes into Marinette’s timeline, she does everything she can to keep him happy until reinforcements arrive. Meanwhile, Chat Noir watches his akumatized self act all lovey-dovey with his friend, and it makes him feel things. Namely, jealousy. Maybe he does think of Marinette as more than a friend after all.

Sunday, 01/30/2022: “Office” (Lukadrigaminette) - I don’t have a title or summary for this one yet, but it’s a Lukadrigaminette story where the four of them plus baby live in a tiny Paris apartment and need to work together to figure out a way to make things work better until they can afford a bigger living space. It’s very cute and affirming, if I do say so myself. ^.^

Sunday, 02/06/2022: Selfless to a Fault (Lukadrien) - Selfless as ever, Luka attempts to set up Adrien and Marinette despite his feelings for both of them. His plan backfires, and Luka ends up making Adrien fall for him instead.

Sunday, 02/13/2022: “02/14 Marichat Passionfruit Chocolate” (Marichat) - This one is tentative. I haven’t written it yet, and I only have a vague mental outline, but I was thinking of writing a story where Marinette makes chocolates for Adrien for Valentine’s Day but doesn’t end up giving them to him. Chat knows that she made them for her crush, but they end up sharing them. Cue accidental confession/identity reveal/happily ever after. We’ll see if I actually write this.

Sunday, 02/20/2022: “Minnows DAdrien” (Adrienette) - I don’t have a proper title or summary for this one either, but Adrien is a foster dad to these three kids, and one of them gets sick, so instead of them going out on a date, Marinette comes over to help with the kids. Fluff, fluff, and happy ending.

Sunday, 02/27/2022: “His Theme” (Lukadrienette) - I haven’t written this one yet, but it’s next on my list. After I did the Lukanette story Clarity in the Harmony (which someone asked me to do based on my Adrienette story Piano for Four Hands), someone said I should do a Lukadrienette story similar to those two to complete the circle. XD I think I said that I would think about it. I haven’t stopped thinking about it, so I guess I’m doing it. XD It’s a story where Luka and Marinette learn a song to play together with Adrien.

What Happened to This City Needs You But Not as Much as I Do?

So, I began writing an Adrienette novella in October that I was going to start releasing in December, and then I pushed back the date until January. I have the first twelve chapters written, but I kind of burnt myself out and haven’t started working on it again yet. :/ I don’t want to start publishing it until I’m actively working on it again, so the release date is to be determined for now.

In the meantime, I’ve got a bunch of one-shots that I’m working on, so there will be plenty of content. Thanks for your patience! ^.^

Rant about the ml new york special because hOLY SHIT

also I feel like this is a given but just in case !!SPOILER WARNING FOR THE NY SPECIAL!!

JESUS CHRIST THAT WAS A TRIP, I’ll try to separate this post into different points because wow theres a lot I have to say :0

FIRST OFF CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE chefs kiss REPRESENTATION IN THIS??? A CHARACTER OF COLOUR (technically uncanny was an android and not a person but its still cool to see), AN ADULT LESBIAN COUPLE PORTRAYED IN A WAY THAT TREATS IT AS A NORMAL AND HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP, THE EAGLE MIRACULOUS FOUND ITS WAY BACK TO A NATIVE, THE HOLDER OF THE MIRACULOUS BOX IS A NATIVE, THE AMERICAN MIRACULOUS ARE ALL NATIVE CENTRIC WHICH I _ADORE _I’m so proud of this show wow

SECOND MARI CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT???? I thought I’d never live to see the day. based off the trailer I was really worried the show would continue to promote Maris stalker ass behaviour and make her borderline unwatchable but I was pleasantly surprised with how they treated her. For the most part she seemed to be determined to get over Adrien and recognised how unhealthy her obsession over him is. Of course things aren’t fully perfect yet what with the airplane scene but I feel like we’ve made genuine strides. aLSO I loved Maris friend group also pointing out the obsession and encouraging Mari to improve, ESPECIALLY Nino and especially Alya, from her first scenes, rather than focusing on two far ends of a spectrum Alya encouraged Marinette to come to terms with how stalkerish she is, achieve a healthy mindset with Adrien and then further their relationship. Once again, the scene where her, Nino, Uncanny and Sparrow (I cant remember their civilian sames sorry :|) tried to trick the two to get together set them back by a bit, I realize their goals and intentions were not bad though. 

OKAY AND MAY WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT CHAT NOIR AND LADYBUGS RELATIONSHIP IN THIS, there’s so much to cover I dont know where to start T_T. In the past this show has put me through some emotions but NEVER as strongly as this special did. I on god cried and if you know me in real life you’ll know I rarely ever cry, especially at shows and such. I feel like Adriens pressure to not let Ladybug down was really portrayed well, considering he’s willing to relinquish chat noir, his only escape from his fathers tight grip on his entire life, if he thinks it’ll help ladybug even a little. plus I’m really glad Adrien got the chance to hear in a heartfelt moment that ladybug genuinely cares and values him as a partner, in the past I feel like thats always been said but only now did it feel so genuine, similar to the contrast of chat noirs playful flirting versus him genuinely caring and loving ladybug. I was genuinely worried before that Chats feeling of being a less valuable member of their duo (which he kinda is fuck you Astruc, they’re entire point is that they balance each other perfectly so write it that way) would grow and he’d give up chat noir. Alsoo, I feel like their argument did a fantastic job of portraying how no ones relationship will ever always be smooth sailing but just because of that it doesn’t mean the relationship isn’t incredibly strong and both members still care for eachother.

ALSOO MORE TALKING ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS BUT THIS TIME ITS LUKADRIGAMINETTE BECAUSE HOLY SHIT I know they were only in the first 15 minutes of the special but wOW. Kagami kissed Adrien (or it looked like on the lips to me), which makes the entire forcing Adrien and Mari together kinda yikes on Alya and Ninos part. Mari was able to kiss Luka on the cheek (I audibly yelled at 11:30 pm whoops) which shows that she is capable of having a healthy love interest in someone without literally stalking them. Minor point but I wanted to add that I wasn’t super happy with Kagami this special. I’ve loved her in the more recent episodes because of how she was treated more as a normal person with strict parents than a slightly racist fencing robot who only cares about honour but for the little bit that she was in this ep she seemed to have gone back to the cold robot we saw when she was first introduced. OOH ALSO Luka and Kagami were both in paris while everyone was gone which if you ask me is impeccable proof that they’re canon no I’m not grasping at tiny straws in pain shut up. 

Now for the probably final topic, the amount of adrienette content we got in this special is giving me a will to live holy shit, on top of Mari trying to get character development, Adrien was also able to seemingly recognise Marinette more in general. Again, the airplane scene did set us back a bit but when they were talking while looking at the sunset it showed how much potential they really have as a couple. Alsoooo I loved how Mari was finally able to get credit for helping people. in the past almost everything nice she’s tried to do has resulted in akumas or misunderstandings (ie: reverser, her scarf for adrien, partly animaestro, almost every other episode..) but in the special not only was she able to get Adrien to go to New York (I know she technically didn’t but this is more of a direct character analysis than overarching plot and for the sake of simplicity everyone thinks it’s cause of her that Adrien could go.) but she had Adrien directly thank and acknowledge her for allowing him to go. they also made absolute leaps and bounds in terms of talking to one another. of course we couldn’t see as much in the end but it’s clear Marinette is slowly but surely making her way to maintaining a steady conversation with Adrien without being creepy or stalkerish and Adrien is slowly beginning to see Marinette as a viable partner. (also you cannot tell me this special wasn’t entirely Adrien being in love with mari without realizing). as I mentioned in the previous paragraph though I am concerned with if it’s okay for this stuff to be happening what with what seems to be a steady relationship between Adrien and Kagami.

I could type more but I feel ill soo conclusion conclusion I’m gay for sparrow conclusion thanks for reading if you did.

About the soulmate au I was rambling.

I have read a few soulmate AU where, if for whatever reason Marinette and Adrien decide to keep their status as soulmates in secret, Lila would be trying to fake a soulbound with Adrien. 

There’s the wild idea. Yes, Lila is a liar, but what if everything is a lie, but that. What if Lila is actually Adrien’s soulmate and not Marinette or anyone else. 

If recoilled in disgust at the idea, great, we are in the same page (Why I’m doing this to myself again?). And no, being soulmates doesn’t mean they will end together, don’t worry. But this can get angsty, so be careful. 

So, Marinette and Adrien aren’t soulmates. (But Adrienette will be endgame anyway, actually, the endgame is lukadrigaminette, because I’m a sucker for polyship and I need more content of my ot4)

As I said before, Lila is Adrien soulmate, unfortunately.

Marinette soulmates are Kagami and Luka.

In this AU not everyone has a soulmate, there’s a way to know if you have a soulmate or not, but I haven’t think on how exactly that works. Maybe you just, know that. And the way to identify your soulmate is a mark that appear in your skin once you met your soulmate. 

There’s like, a social issue, is that usually people asume that, if is your soulmate, then you must be romantically involved with them. Actually, Soulmates can be either romantic or platonic, in depends on how their relationship develops. 

In modern times, isn’t unusual for soulmates the end in bad terms because of this, like one wanting a romantic approach and the other not feeling the same way. But talk about this is seen like something taboo and had a lot of victim blaming on it. 

Season 1 is mostly the same, Marinette still having a crush on Adrien and Chat Noir on Ladybug, even if they know they aren’t their soulmate. More like a wishful dream.

Then Lila comes to scene and doesn’t disappear a whole season like in canon. I mean, she just found out that Adrien Agreste is her soulmate, which makes her plan even more easier. 

Adrien on his side don’t feel comfortable around Lila. He decides to give her another chance because she is his soulmate, but she isn’t taking it, don’t respect his personal space and she want to force him in a relationship with her. But still, he is too passive to stand for himself.

Marinette want to help, but is told off by her classmates. They tell her that she should just give up and let them fix their problems. Marinette is frustrated. (Not salt on the class actually, they just don’t know any better.)

Then enter Chloe, who gives no fuck about what their clasmates think about her and just go a split liladrien apart. (For Adrien relief.) Isn’t just jealusy (maybe a little), but she noticed how uncomfortable Adrien was with Lila  clinginess and decided to interfere. She even keep herself to hug Adrien for a while, trying to give him some space. 

This comes with a realization for Marinette, that Chloe actually cares about Adrien and her crush for him wasn’t something superficial. She may be a brat and a jerk, but she can care about people. This is the start of Chloe redemption arc. (Plus, during Style Queen, Marinette actually gives the Bee miraculous to Chloe, knowing that she want to go and save Adrien. She also get the miraculous back once the battle ends, so Queen Bee identity is safe.)

Enter Kagami and Luka, and the Lukagaminette. And this instead to rip Marinette and Adrien apart, it make them to get closer, because Kagami and Luka actually like Adrien (First as a friend, then as something else) and Adrien enjoy spend time with them because they are not trying to push him to be with Lila.

Adrien and Lila’s relationship is complicated. Everyone think they are dating but Adrien (plus Chloe and lukagaminette). They constantly fight, with Lila making herself the victim with a broken heart and basically telling Adrien that he is broken, just because he doesn’t love her back. 

Comes the Hero’s day, Lila still helping Hack Moth.

After the battle, something happend that make Alya and Nino finally see the redflags in liladrien relationship, starting with the fourth plot, djwifi realizing that Lila isn’t as innocent as they think she is.

That basically season 2. I’m not sure how season 3 would go because I haven’t watched it (I just watched the chapters that called my attention) my ideas so far for that season are: Continue with Chloe redemption, Lila confusing djwifi (they are reluctant to believe that she is a bad person, but her relationship with Adrien is clearly unhealthy and as deep they search it’s more clear why Marinette doesn’t trust her), make an actual Miracle team, and Adrien realizing that Lila isn’t entitled to him and him falling for the trio Lukagaminette (and  they falling for him, again in Marinette’s case).

And yes, I want to write a fanfic about this idea looking at the others projects and fanfics I want to do, and yes, I have no self control.

Hello, I just finished the 4th chapter of the second Lady Luck book and I loved it and I am happy. Please for the love of anything tell me there's a possibility we'll have a different kind of love square (poly ship!) with Adrienette plus Kagami and Luka, because I will scream for joy!

Honestly? Originally I wasn't but I'm having fun so we might end up with Lukadrigaminette.

What’s an average date like for each of our Hero Couples in the Hero Chat A/U?

Okay, so DjWifi - most of their dates are normal "going to movies or a restaurant" thing. However, since they have Superhero Duties, they do have some late-night patrol dates. They do sometimes hang out at each other's homes, and their parents are pretty chill with sleepovers. Kim/Max - while they usually grab something to eat at some point, they usually go to places like the zoo or an aquarium or the park. Somewhere That they're walking a lot so Kim can run off energy. Despite Max being a nerd, he does have decent enough stamina to keep up with Kim running around, even if he's not outright athletic. Chlolix - they do sometimes spy on everyone else's dates. A lot of their dates early on are kinda low-key due to Chloé not wanting her mother to find out about this. So they don't usually go places that would make it obvious that it's a date. Though Chloé does bring Alix as her Plus One to the various fancy parties/charity galas/political functions/etc. that she has to attend because of her parents. Lukadrigaminette - once this train wreck gets their shit together, they do a lot of different things. Sometimes they go out for dinner, but that usually ends with Adrien and Kagami bickering over who's paying. Not to mention that their restaurant choices are a little to fancy for Mari and Luka. A lot of times they end up just hanging out either at Mari's place or the Couffaine houseboat. Mari teaches them all how to cook. They start teaching each other their interests. Mari teaches them how to bake, Kagami and Adrien work on fencing, Luka likes helping them learn different instruments, so on and so forth.

Okay. So, before my actual answer: technically speaking, I’d say I ship both equally, in terms of how much fanart I look at, how many words of fanfic I write, how much I like them, etc. But since this ask game involves picking one over the other…

Gah, I think I have to go with Adrienette/the Love Square. I shipped them first, I’ve shipped them the longest, and their ship has the most canonical development. Plus, they’re literally two halves of a whole–yin and yang, creation and destruction, good luck and misfortune…like, their love is cosmic, y’all. As enjoyable as non-canon pairings are, Adrienette is what really got me into the show, and I’m still watching it to see when they finally get together.

Like, of course you can have the love square dynamic with other ships–actually, you can have a square with any two characters who have an alter ego–but Adrien and Marinette are The Love Square. They’re two blind idiots who are madly in love, and yet somehow, they still can’t manage to get together. In fact, at this rate, I’m pretty sure they’ll be dancing around each other for years, but in a way, that kind of makes their get-together even more satisfying. (And frustrating, lol. But nothing’s perfect.)

And even when I ship them with other people, I can’t completely ignore the bond that they have. To me, they’re soulmates in any universe–not always romantic soulmates, depending on the ship I’m writing/reading, but still soulmates. They’re partners who have been through thick and thin together, and I honestly love that about them. When two characters fight so many hard battles together, it’s hard not to appreciate their bond.

So, yeah, I guess Adrienette. But I honestly love both ships equally and how DARE you ask me to pick my favorite child ship 😂😂😂

Monthly writing check in! Sorry for the delay, between a birthday, two extremely bad headspace days then losing the net thanks to a hilarious mishap I’ve not had the chance. I think I’m finally in the right mindset to take Ghost!AU again and run amuck in Stars though understandably if my brain fixation points a different direction I gotta follow it.

Prisoner of Iron - Chapter 1 still in progress I’ve been bouncing a LOT this past month though a guideline is in place now and an edit pass of the first scene to fit world changes which future me better appreciate

Lion’s Den - First oneshot relating to Prisoner of Iron that came out before the fic was released! Gives an idea what what the world is like plus the Agreste twins are agents of chaos even when one is not in a good way and can’t “talk”. It’s riddled with out of context spoilers but it is what it is

Peace Offering - For some reason the bot REALLY likes this messy thing also from Prisoner of Iron verse. I frequently dubbed it the Collar oneshot until it got a name I’ll likely have to sit on it a bit when it’s done as it’s very in context spoiler riddled. We’ll see what happens when it’s complete as woof
