I have to ask: Why base 12? I am intrigued by it but what is your reasoning? Also purely out of curiosity what colour is 12 to you?

Base 12 is the BEST okay so if you use 10 as your main standard unit of everything, here's the thing: what if you need to split it into quarters? What about thirds? You cannot use whole numbers for those, you have to decimalise to 2.5 and 3.3333333333 recurring which is DISGUSTING

But 12! Unlike 10, which can only neatly divide by 1, 2, 5 or 10, 12 is out here, swag as fuck, like "Oh did you say division? I can divide for you baby, please choose from 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 12." GOOD MATHS. Good clean maths. Does what it says on the tin. Nice and neat. You can even keep using your fingers for it, just use two digits on each thumb and voila, 12 convenient hand units. Have I sold this yet? I hope I've sold this yet. Am I being convincing? Good maths.

Also 12 is yellow and blue because I see diglyph numbers as being made up of their individual integers and 1 is yellow and 2 is blue, but the word twelve is a sort of soft light green, a little more yellow than blue and a bit desaturated. It's also metallic with a soft dip in the middle.

Hello hello I am a math major and very supportive of your fight for Base 12 over Base 10, but I would like to advocate for my own personal belief which is that the Sumerians had it right and we should be using Base 60, which has all the advantages of Base 12 and Base 10 (aka 2, 3, & 5 as prime factors) and also works perfectly to integrate with the 60 second = 1 minute, 60 minutes = 1 hour system.

Yes I did as a college senior give a presentation for a course final on exactly this and yes the other math majors all had opinions. One girl fought for a Base 15 system purely to make everyone else furious.

Base 60 is just five base 12's in a trenchcoat which is why it works, so I'm not AGAINST it. But it's unwieldy and easy to drop the numbers accidentally. Base 12 is neater you know? Don't have to think of as many names for the numbers.

Well, I mean, Welsh does, but Welsh can be a bit Funny about numbers.
