omd what a match….. in a nutshell:

backline being restored made things feel more secure and we play so much better without partey it’s not even funny. zinny coming back has made a noticeable difference.

fabio was wonderful when he came on, the next step would be for him to start and play a lion’s share of the match, essentially switching places with havertz (ideally), whom at this point arteta seems to be playing just to make him worth his wages.

mikel seems to be at least starting to learn in terms of subs which is a good sign. out first lineup was solid on paper, but not working to finish off chances in reality, and that is something to think about.

bukayo needs a rest. reiss needs minutes. are you connecting the dots.

eddie needed to be more involved more, i didn’t see him on the end of balls in the box enough, which greatly contributed to our not getting a goal in the first half.

aaron made me nervous😭😭😭 i would kind of like to see raya sometime soon because i’m curious as to why he gave up a starting position to come here if he is never going to play like what did mikel tell him

rice is settling in nicely, not very flashy but an important midfield pivot. delighted to see him score his first goal and really get to make his mark with the fans at this amazing club
