Remade the poll, again, again, lol. Realized at the end of my work shift I'd forgotten to mention important things only I as the author knows and should be weighed in with the voting.
Bucky believes Becca is dead, whether or not he remembers her existence or not (he doesn't know the twins or Jamie exist at all); debating a change to have him witness her "death" instead of just taking HYDRA's word for it before brainwashing
Any reunions/first meetings that happen will be months after everyone is brought back from the Blip/Snap
So with that info (and more under the poll if any need reminding), here's the poll again, with more options! **As a reminder, this is just to gather info, not necessarily what will happen. It at least gives me an idea of what might go well and/or what I could do for other fics/stories in future.**
Relevant links from the masterlist (and copied pasted bits under links):
Timeline of Past Events (current, subject to change)
OC list (subject to change)
Becca Barnes- Birthday: August 15th, 1997 (26 at start of story); Omega (late bloomer); daughter of Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers; autistic with OCD tendencies; love interest is her fiance who is also an OC; mutated to have wings
From Timeline:
1997-
Bucky escapes after a mission, realizing he’s in the late stages of pregnancy and wants to protect his child from HYDRA
Becca is born August 15th, 1997
2004-
Bucky captured again by HYDRA with Becca
Brainwashed to forget her after being told she’d died
Mariya Ivanov is put in charge of Becca’s upbringing, as she’s already in charge of monitoring Jamie’s health in cryofreeze

hiii this is just additional information for anyone who may be stumbling across this
What is TMAAOV? TMA - Audio. Opperior. Vigilo. is a Discord-based roleplaying server that is hosted by the Discord user reanimatedfromthedead., who also goes by Mariya or Nadine. This server was originally created on January 25th, 2023, and has been rapidly growing a happy and healthy community since then. The premise of the server is that it's set in a different universe, with rules following that of the Magnus Archives. But wait! There's a twist! A new fear, labeled The Cycle which is the fear of something terrible happening over and over again to you, or a group of people without being able to stop it.
Who are these three? In TMAAOV, to continue a cycle of fear, Archivists get swapped out every 13 years. This is the Archival crew of the year 1991-2010.
Does this affect the TMAAOV storyline/is this canon? No. What happens in this blog does not affect the story of TMAAOV, and remains completely seperate. You could consider this an alternate universe as well.
Who is running this blog? Creator of TMAAOV, Nadine. However if it becomes too overwhelming I might get more people to help me!

Bulgaria’s two-year period of repeat elections appeared to have come an end on Tuesday as a joint government created by political opponents GERB/United Democratic Forces and We Continue the Change/Democratic Bulgaria was approved by parliament.
The new government came to power with 132 votes in favour and 69 against.
The two blocs, which are each other’s main foes, will take office with a cabinet that will govern for 18 months.
It will be led for the first nine months by We Continue the Change/Democratic Bulgaria, with Nickolay Denkov as prime minister, and for the second nine months by GERB/United Democratic Forces, with Denkov resigning and Mariya Gabriel stepping in.
Since early 2021 Bulgaria has endured repeated elections and rounds of failed coalition talks, only briefly interrupted by the nine-month reformist coalition administration led by We Continue the Change with Kiril Petkov as prime minister.
Both GERB/United Democratic Forces and We Continue the Change/Democratic Bulgaria have framed the partnership as a compromise for Bulgaria’s future.
“We have far too many dividing lines with GERB and they won’t disappear just because we’re creating a cabinet,” Hristo Ivanov, leader of Democratic Bulgaria, said in parliament.
Ivanov said he sees the new government as an “interim cabinet but one selected by parliament” and a way for the parliament to have an extended life in which reforms can be passed.
President Rumen Radev remains highly skeptical of the unlikely union, however.
“I hope that parliament won’t betray the national interests in the same way the leaders of the coalition have already betrayed their voters,” said Radev, who in 2021 helped We Continue the Change’s Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev launch their career in politics by choosing them in his interim cabinet before the duo established their own party.
After We Continue the Change won elections in November 2021 and expressed a pro-Ukraine and pro-military aid stance, Radev turned vehemently against the coalition led by Petkov.
Radev’s tone was emulated by There’s Such a People, whose MP Filip Stanev called the new cabinet “the league of extraordinary frauds”.
Pro-Kremlin parties Revival and Bulgarian Socialist Party were also heavily critical of the new government.
Kornelia Ninova, leader of the Socialists, showed her disdain for the new cabinet by reading a statement generated by ChatGPT and describing the government as a “one-armed, double-headed Frankenstein”.
Revival leader Kostadin Kostadinov said that We Continue the Change’s members should be arrested for a “velvet coup d’ètat” for “collaborating with the US”, referring to a leaked audiotape in which party members were heard discussing coordination with unspecified embassies.
Surprisingly, MPs from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms party, which is focused on the Turkish diaspora and is a traditional ally to GERB, only cast two votes in favour of the cabinet – those of leader Mustafa Karadaya and Magnitsky-sanctioned, Pandora Papers-exposed oligarch Delyan Peevski.
Meanwhile, Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev continues to put pressure on the new government.
On Tuesday, the prosecution said it was investigating Petkov for being nominated as interim Economy Minister in 2021 in a breach of the constitution because he held a dual Bulgarian and Canadian citizenship. Petkov stated that he is ready to give up his political immunity. A previous investigation by the prosecution in 2021 said that there was no wrongdoing.
The prosecution has previously looked into the allegation that GERB leader Boyko Borissov was involved in money-laundering. On Tuesday, the prosecution said that there is new evidence in the case, connected to schemes in Turkey.

Five are the main priorities contained in Bulgaria's management program for the period from June 2023 to December 2024, adopted by the government today. The deadline specified in the announcement of the government press service means that the tasks are planned until the end of the mandate of the cabinet with Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel, after "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" and GERB agreed on a rotation of the Prime Minister 9 months after the election of the government of Nikolay Denkov on June 6.
The program is the result of an agreement reached between "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" and GERB-SDS. It contains specific activities of the government in fulfillment of the commitments for legislative initiatives agreed between the two coalitions supporting it before the formation of the cabinet.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov stated that the program is directly related to the state's budgets and without financial support, it will remain just a set of good intentions. He called on the leaders of the parties supporting the cabinet to correct "some wrong decisions" made yesterday in the parliamentary budget and finance committee. Boyko Borissov, Kiril Petkov and Hristo Ivanov have already committed themselves to corrections.
The five priorities in the program are:
1. Bulgaria's accession to the Schengen area by the end of 2023.
- The aim is to carry out all the necessary activities in order to meet the requirements of the European partners for the acceptance of the country in Schengen. The government plans to strengthen border control by creating an effective infrastructure and organization of work, with which Bulgaria will contribute to the general security of European borders. A set of new anti-corruption measures will be introduced and the security services will be reformed.
The abolition of the borders between Bulgaria and the neighboring EU countries will lead to a significant easing of traffic and a shortening of the time of stay at the borders, which will give an additional boost to tourism, trade and all other areas of cross-border business, the government states.
2. Joining the Eurozone from 1 January 2025.
- Bulgaria will work in close cooperation with the European institutions and partners in order to fulfill all the necessary conditions for the successful completion of the process. The cabinet will propose budgets for 2023 and 2024 with a 3 percent annual budget deficit. It will conduct a large-scale explanatory campaign about the benefits of the introduction of the single European currency, which aims to refute the disinformation spread and dispel the concerns of some of the Bulgarian citizens. In it, the government will defend the many benefits of the euro for citizens, businesses and the economy, such as the abolition of conversion fees; stimulation of European investments in Bulgaria and creation of more, better quality and better paid jobs; strengthening the competitiveness of Bulgarian enterprises; increasing price and economic stability and accelerating growth; facilitating and cheapening the trade of Bulgarian enterprises in the Eurozone and beyond; better integrated and therefore more efficient financial markets.
3. Controlling inflation.
- The government will take the necessary measures and reforms to stabilize the prices of goods and services and create a favorable economic environment for businesses and citizens. The Council of Ministers will support and encourage the development of innovation and industry as well as agriculture. It will strengthen control over the appropriate use of subsidies and against potential abuse of the provided financial resources.
4. Implementation of reforms and projects from the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan.
- The cabinet will take concrete actions, including through legislative initiatives, to ensure the effective implementation of the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan and the absorption of subsequent payments. The foundations will be laid for a green and digital transformation of the economy in the context of the ambitious goals of the European Green Deal. The government expects the implementation of the plan to restore the potential for growth of the economy, will develop and increase it, which in the long term will achieve the strategic goal of convergence of the Bulgarian economy and equalization of income levels in Bulgaria with those of Central Europe.
5. Improving the efficiency and transparency of municipal project management.
- The government is planning a targeted financial resource for municipal projects, which will allow municipalities to realize their priority initiatives for development and improvement of services for citizens. In order to guarantee maximum publicity and transparency in the expedient spending of the funds for the municipalities, a predictable and objective methodology for the evaluation of the projects will be developed.

consider adopting... the tsar of bulgaria’s siblings
the late tsar ivan viii’s passing in august had sent the bulgarian court into a tailspin. it wasn’t as if the eldest prince andrei’s ( @akrasimirov ) abdication as crown prince over a decade ago had completely disappeared from the public’s thoughts, now the death of the tsar had forced his second-born son to feel the heavy weight of the crown upon his brow. what the public didn’t know was just how prepared the new tsar dimitar ( @mitkok ) was for his role     he had been preparing for this long before his brother relinquished his position. the youngest princess nikolina had returned from an illustrious figure skating career, a young retiree with strained relations with her entire family must now face war upon their shores.
they say that the family’s late patriarch was killed by a jealous greek duke, one who disliked how close bulgarian-greek relations were. he had ambitions that crossed borders! war was swiftly declared, and the new tsar dimitar was determined to make the duke of western thrace pay. the greek royals, however, stood steadfastly behind their noble and refused to be pushed around with what they call a “baseless accusation”. now how will the pieces fall?
if you’re looking for complicated family relations in the midst of international conflicts     consider applying for one of the bulgarian royals!
THE FIRST BORN TAKEN !
full name: andrei ( or utp ) ivanov krasimirov
title: his royal highness, prince of bulgaria ( formerly the crown prince of bulgaria )
age range: 38-42
suggested faceclaims: john krasinski, jamie dornan
THE THIRD BORN
full name: timotei ( or utp ) ivanov krasimirov
title: his royal highness, prince of bulgaria
age: 34
suggested faceclaim: aaron taylor johnson
notes: previously engaged to io glücksburg, princess of greece ( @ioglucksburg )
( death tw )
for all intents and purposes, timotei ivanov could’ve lived a life of pure leisure, the way other spares of spares conduct their businesses. but it was just never in the cards for him, his personality would never allow for such a thing! he grew up third best, the youngest son with the very least of expectations, but timotei had grown up with the utmost devotion to his family and country. perhaps in the beginning he was going to play a supporting act to andrei when he was to be crown prince, believing that kindness and peace was the sure way for a prosperous country. the fair and just prince could not get behind just how ruthless his brother dimitar was when discussing matters of state, he almost balked at how quickly the new crown prince was to turn to nefarious means. timotei was almost glad that dimitar had svetlana’s council, and they can scheme their way into power all they want and leave him out of it. he’d rather not hear all the gory details.
timotei loved love. he had a big heart that was worn on his sleeve, which meant many relationships and a trail of broken hearts across the globe. the younger prince was given the post as the ambassador of trade, a position of influence but one without detrimental political power that kept him travelling around the globe. but finally it was io glücksburg that captured his heart, a greek princess and sister to the king, it was a perfect match that would make everyone happy. not only did it strengthen the political bond between bulgaria and it’s strong neighbour, but it was also a match made from love, at least on timotei’s side. the wedding planning was well and truly underway when the bulgarian tsar passed away and the heavy crown was placed upon dimitar’s brow.
suddenly, two things became very apparent: without an heir, timotei was effectively next in line to the throne, and that everything was about to change. unlike their father, dimitar wasn’t going to let himself inherit the constraints of a friendship with the greek royals, instead aligning himself with the turkish crown prince — someone he thought of as a better, stronger alternative. timotei already felt the strain of his family disentangling themselves from the glücksburgs before the other shoe finally dropped. the investigation surrounding the late tsar’s death had pointed to the direction of the greek duke of western thrace, and dimitar launched the country into a full-out war. timotei and his engagement were his first casualties, and it almost seemed as if he would never forgive him.
now unable to stay away from the programme, outgoing and brokenhearted timotei vowed to never let his family take another thing from him — and who knows? maybe in the maze of hotel hallways and beneath the smokey gaze of the casino is where he could finally reach for the forbidden hand that he’s been missing.
THE FOURTH BORN
full name: svetlana ( or utp ) ivanova krasimirova
title: her royal highness, princess of bulgaria,         the dowager duchess of greater sofia,         former crown princess of chile
age: 32
suggested faceclaims: tamsin egerton, talulah riley, alexina graham
prev. marriages: (1) duke of greater sofia, widowed; with issue                          (2) the crown prince of chile, widowed; no issue
personal conn.: @noemioriol — former sister-in-law, from 2nd husband
( death tw )
the then crown princess mariya had wanted a daughter, after three sons and a house full of men, she longed a little girl to parade around and make pretty. svetlana was exactly that. she was a born princess, big flouncy dresses as a child and elegant grace as she grew a little older, there was something in her that made others listen when she spoke — the disarming way she smiled and dreamt of climbing ever higher. however at seven years old, her place as the youngest and only princess of the royal family was dashed and discarded; svetya wasn’t used to sharing, and refused to do so even with her helpless baby sister. she knows how to hold a grudge, even against a family member who was completely faultless — she will never forgive nikolina for forcing her hand into sharing the spotlight. needless to say, they were never close and their age difference certainly did not help.
svetya is her brother dimitar’s best friend and right hand woman, it was difficult not to be when they share similar ideologies and the same ruthless ambition. even before their eldest brother andrei abdicated from the line of succession, dimitar was already planning for the overthrow with svetlana in tow. they were two peas in a pod, where dimitar was, svetlana certainly was somewhere close. they had both planned for svetlana to be conveniently around when the duke of greater sofia’s wife passed, his duchy is rich and important, they knew that it would be highly helpful if the title remained in their family. a year after the funeral the duke married the princess in a lavish ceremony, and svetlana gave her new husband something his first wife did not; status and children. it certainly wasn’t her fault that the duke hid an illness that eventually cost him his life.
her second marriage was far more grand, this was what her and dimitar was expressively  waiting for. a supplementary country of resources to support bulgaria’s endeavours, it seemed as if one country wasn’t enough for them. marrying a crown prince made sveltana a crown princess, and even during her father’s funeral all she could do was hide a smile behind her heavy veil — fingers coming up to wipe nonexistent tears in front of the public. this meant dimitar was finally tsar, and all svetlana must do was wait until her father-in-law dropped dead in similar fashion. unfortunately for them, the death she had so looked forward to did not only take the life of her father-in-law, but also her husband! svetya cursed her complacency for thinking she had the time to produce an heir and vowed it would not happen again.
now twice widowed and reeling from the loss of a potential future as queen, svetlana krasimirova packed up her children and tiaras in order to make her way to the programme. she knew that her brother was stuck with the two family members who would only encumber him, it was about time that she came to be the support he deserves. besides, dimitar joked that she could only be considered a ‘proper’ black widow if she outlives husband number three, and what perfect place to endeavour to be worthy of such a nickname!
please contact this blog or @catherinestvart before applying!                  this is a connection for @highsocietyhq

Shadow of a Shield- Rewrite Poll V2
Less wordy. Feel free to reblog and/or vote on the original poll as well.
Bottom line, I've made more OCs since the original creating of SoaS. Plan is to either make the rewrite one big fic OR like TNEI and make several fics happening in the same timeline revolving around each of the OCs (listed below the poll).
Benefits of either: (Option 1) big fic all together / (Option 2) separate fics but opportunities for more Avengers PoVs
(Tbh, I'm personally leaning toward the second option, but I might be able to do both if need be. It's a different balance, at the very least.)
Now these are my OCs for the story (in order of creation, not age):
Jamie Carter-Rogers - omega; daughter of Peggy Carter and Steve Rogers; kept in captivity similar to how Bucky had been; autistic and adhder; love interest is another OC named Ana/Anastasia (Latina-american)
Willam Wallace - alpha; supposed son (trans) of Bucky Barnes and Natasha Romanoff (unsure because Mariya Ivanov often lies); dyslexic and adhder; tentative love interests are either Peter Parker/Harley Keener (together) or an OC; has a twin, Mare
Becca Barnes - omega (late bloomer); daughter of Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers; autistic with OCD tendencies; love interest is her fiance who is also an OC
*Mare ? - omega; twin sister of Will; selective mutism; seperated from the others, so she isn't with them during the 5-year Blip; eventual planned QPR with MJ
(All of them have C-PTSD, that's just a given)

Bulgaria’s parliament is expected on Wednesday to approve the resignation of Prime Minister and We Continue the Change member Nikolai Denkov as part of the planned “rotation” of the coalition government.
Denkov submitted his resignation on Tuesday. As part of the coalition deal, the next Prime Minister is expected to be GERB’s Mariya Gabriel.
The process is taking place as the two blocs of the coalition – GERB and UDF on one side and We Continue the Change and Democratic Bulgaria on the other – experience tension, increasing speculation that the shaky government won’t hold.
On February 21, GERB, the dominant force in Bulgaria since 2008 but with a reputation tarnished by corruption allegations, rejected a new agreement with its coalition partners, and is in a process of offering its own set of conditions.
Denkov stepped in as Prime Minister last June when leaders of GERB and We Continue the Change decided not to put themselves forward, as a sign of their willingness for cooperation.
Denkov, previously a chemistry professor and Minister of Education in 2017 and from 2021 to 2022, prioritised entry to the Schengen and the Eurozone as the biggest goals for Bulgaria.
His successor, Mariya Gabriel, returned to local politics last year as a much-needed fresh face for GERB after a spell as a Member of the European Parliament (2009-2017) and аs Vice-President of the centre-right European People’s Party EPP group (2014-2017). Since June, she has been Vice-PM and Foreign Minister, a position GERB would like her to retain.
“Despite this environment of misinformation, sabotage, attacks and provocations, we are ready to move forward on the implementation of priorities set in our management programme with Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel,” Denkov said in parliament on Wednesday.
Gabriel will likely govern for the rest of the year, with Denkov then returning in 2025.
A survey by Alpha Research, published on March 6, said 40 per cent of respondents approve of the rotation strategy, 27 per cent would prefer snap elections and 16 per cent are unsure. But 52.9 per cent said they disapprove of the current government and only 23.6 rate Denkov’s legacy highly.
The politician with the highest rating is former PM and GERB strongman Boyko Borissov. He is approved of by 21.6 per cent of the respondents, followed by Hristo Ivanov, of Democratic Bulgaria.
On Tuesday, Denkov welcomed Belarusian activist Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. In a lecture at Sofia University, she described her visit is a “bridge-making” between the opposition in Belarus and Bulgaria. Tsikhanouskaya also said she sees Bulgaria as a potential “voice for Belarus on the European stage”. On February 26, Denkov also met Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv.
Pressure grows from the opposition
As uncertainty looms over the cabinet, opposition parties have started strengthening their core electorates. On March 6, Kornelia Ninova, of the pro-Moscow Bulgarian Socialist Party, described the coalition as a “conceived in sin”, since it allegedly legitimises GERB’s tainted legacy.
Pro-Russia far-righters Revival travelled to Moscow to meet ruling United Russia representatives on February 19, then on February 27 signed a partnership agreement with a party bearing the same name and political affiliations in Moldova.
They met members of Germany’s far-right AFD on March 3 – Bulgaria’s Liberation Day – which in recent years has turned into an event that increasingly involves ideological clashes.
Meanwhile, There’s Such a People, founded by entertainer Slavi Trifonov, which came first in the elections in July 2021 but faded following erratic decisions, has been playing closer to Revival in parliament. Both parties protested against the recently adopted budget and on February 28 asked the Constitutional Court to probe the matter.
On February 29, charged tycoon Vassil Bojkov started his own new political project, called Center.

Today, Mariya Gabriel, the nominee for Prime Minister, fulfilled her mandate by presenting President Rumen Radev with a completed folder at 4:15 p.m. today, outlining the draft composition of the Council of Ministers.
As negotiations between the Bulgarian political parties GERB and "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB) continued into the afternoon, there was anticipation and speculation about the outcome. Despite the ongoing discussions, Gabriel emphasized before the president that both parties shared common ground regarding reforms in the judicial system, regulators, and the fight against corruption.
Expressing her sense of duty, Gabriel underscored the importance of stability in governance for Bulgaria's progress on key national priorities, such as securing Schengen membership, joining the Eurozone, and fostering economic growth for the well-being of future generations. "I will not compromise on the principles of our Constitution, the rule of law, justice, and the fundamental democratic values of transparency and accountability," Gabriel affirmed.
She emphasized that addressing the economic and social concerns of Bulgarian citizens is equally paramount alongside regulatory reforms and anti-corruption efforts.
Responding to Gabriel's proposal, President Radev indicated that he would promptly issue a decree and submit the proposed cabinet composition to the National Assembly for consideration.
Full list of the proposed ministers:
Prime Minister and Foreign Minister - Mariya Gabriel
Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs - Nikolai Denkov
Minister of Finance - Asen Vassilev
Minister of Internal Affairs - Kalin Stoyanov
Minister of Regional Development - Andrey Tsekov
Minister of Labor - Ivanka Shalapatova
Minister of Defense - Hristo Gadjev
Minister of Justice - Atanas Slavov
Minister of Education - Galin Tsokov
Minister of Health - Katya Paneva
Minister of Culture - Krastyo Krastev
Minister of Environment and Water - Ivelina Vasileva
Minister of Agriculture - Kiril Vatev
Minister of Transport - Georgi Gvozdeikov
Minister of Innovation and Growth - Rosen Zhelyazkov
Minister of Economy - Bogdan Bogdanov
Minister of Energy - Zhecho Stankov
Minister of e-government - Valentin Mundrov
Minister of Tourism - Zaritsa Dinkova
Minister of Youth and Sports - Dimitar Iliev
The parliamentary faction of "We Continuing the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB) is convening to deliberate on GERB's decision to propose a government.
Unofficial reports suggest that the coalition has not yet reached consensus on the proposed ministerial candidates, nor have they finalized the coalition agreement, despite ongoing negotiations.
Yesterday, former Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov criticized the leaked list of ministerial nominees from GERB, citing the presence of what he deemed "unacceptable names." Among these names, there has been particular scrutiny directed at Zhecho Stankov, who is reportedly slated for the energy sector. Stankov previously served as deputy minister under Temenuzka Petkova in the preceding Borissov administration.
The coalition agreement, which was negotiated over the past ten days by GERB and WCC-DB remains unsigned. Prime Minister nominee Mariya Gabriel and her negotiating team member Raya Nazaryan indicated this after the "Dondukov" 2 ceremony.
In response to journalists' inquiries about the agreement, Gabriel stated that she signed it the previous day, as reported on Sunday evening by WCC-DB as the primary reason for GERB's withdrawal from the previously reached agreement.
Nazaryan elaborated, explaining that the agreement was approved by "Democratic Bulgaria" co-chairman Hristo Ivanov and signed by both Ivanov and Mariya Gabriel at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 18. However, shortly after, other coalition leaders declined to sign. Though she did not specify individuals, those involved in the negotiations included "We Continue the Change" co-chairs Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev, as well as Democrats for Strong Bulgaria leader Atanas Atanasov.
GERB stated that they would provide the media with the final version of the agreement soon.
Atanas Atanasov remarked that there is agreement regarding Gabriel's actions, expressing surprise at the outcome. Resigned Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov emphasized that the proposed cabinet represents GERB and not a mutually agreed upon one with WCC-DB. He stated that the agreement was not reached with their party.
Delyan Peevski, co-chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) announced that DPS will endorse the government proposed by GERB. While the party's support is not crucial for the cabinet's election due to sufficient votes from previous government participants, it falls short by 15 votes without additional support. Peevski emphasized that DPS's backing hinges on the government's commitment to serving the people and fulfilling promises to Bulgarian citizens. He stressed the importance of ongoing parliamentary efforts to enact constitutional and legislative reforms aimed at achieving genuine judicial reform and combating corruption.
What's next?
An hour and a half following the return of the mandate, President Rumen Radev swiftly signed a decree recommending Mariya Gabriel as Prime Minister to the 49th National Assembly. This information was relayed through a press release from the president's office.
The next procedural step involves the publication of this decree in the "State Gazette," a move expected to occur in an extraordinary issue likely scheduled for tomorrow.
Insiders within the parliament have disclosed that the presidential council, an informal body comprising representatives from all political groups, will convene tomorrow to discuss the timeline for the government's vote of confidence.
In theory, the government could secure approval as early as this week. However, the outcome hinges on two crucial decisions to be made by "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria":
Whether the coalition will sustain governance with GERB.
Whether adjustments will be made to the proposed cabinet composition.
