I know you've done general Jim, jlaire, and troll dad Blinky headcanons, but do you have any specific to the new timeline and even beyond? I love all of your ask posts btw, such fantastic Au's and our hc generally almost always align!

My oldest headcanon about the new timeline exists since July, 21, 2021 (when I wrote this oneshot https://archiveofourown.org/works/32729335 ). This one is that Jim keeps the new amulet and Excalibur in the new timeline.

My other headcanons about the new timeline and beyond were build through the two and half years (a lot of stuff keeps expanding, to be honest).

So here's my really long post about the happy ending for everyone.

Jim has managed to make everything right in this timeline, even with some stuff he didn't predict (like Enrique was still kidnapped - it just happened on a different date).

Everyone in the new timelines has these odd hunches about things they experienced in the first timeline. Like Claire having some odd attraction to Jim, Blinky being fatherly to Jim, and Barbara getting random thoughts that Strickler might be inhuman. Toby has it the worst as he can't help but think that everything is not his adventure and that Jim would be a better hero.

Because of hunches both Claire and Barbara find out the truth way earlier.

However, Toby is the first who realize that Jim somehow knows about all the incoming events. Jim has no choice but to confess about the time travel. He keeps the details from everyone though, especially those that might cause complications.

Jim brings Douxie into the team before the final encounter with Bular. Claire requests Douxie to become her magic teacher once she joins and he agrees.

Aja, Krel, and Varvatos join once they arrive on Earth.

Draal lives. Vendel is injured but also survives.

Angor gets his soul back this time. He isn't happy with Strickler but decides to let it go per Jim's request.

Toby spares Bular (much to Jim's shock). Bular starts to live in Toby's house, trying to reconsider his ways. Initially, Draal watches his actions and they eventually become friends.

Morgana fails to possess Claire. She possesses Angor instead.

Strickler manages to convince some changelings to switch sides, so more changelings survive.

Jim doesn't allow Merlin to transform anyone into a half-troll. He shows Merlin Excalibur (leaving the latter speechless), so Merlin begrudgingly agrees to try Jim's plan first.

After Gunmar's death, Bular inherits Decimaar and uses it to liberate all the trolls his father controlled.

Jim and Claire talk Morgana into trying to give co-existence a second chance. She isn't convinced fully but agrees to wait.

The residents of the Trollmarket never go to New Jersey, which means that Aja and Krel have more people to help them.

Jim is deadset on never letting anyone be hit with an onyx shard. He ends up taking the hit for Claire - only to discover that it has no effect on him (as Excalibur cannot harm his owner and Jim is technically another owner because of the time paradox).

Merlin isn't happy to learn that the Green Knight is actually King Arthur. The same goes for Morgana, but she blames Merlin for her brother ending that way.

Merlin finally realizes that he has been too stubborn all the time, refusing to see other options. He uses all his magic to seal Bellroc and Skrael and entrusts Douxie with leading the new king of Camelot.

AND NOW TO BEYOND

Jim is technically the King of Camelot now, which makes him rather uncomfortable at first. However, with Douxie's encouragement, he realizes that more than an authority figure, he's King of knights, a noble protector of both humanity and magical beings, and the first among equals.

Claire continues with her magical studies, fully determined to prove that shadowmancy isn't always evil and can bring much good to this world. She consults a lot with Morgana, even though she still considers Douxie her teacher.

Toby is still this timeline's Trollhunter but lately, he mostly deals with small errands from Bagdwella and other trolls. He doesn't mind as it feels a lot like vacation after everything the team has gone through.

Blinky succeeds Vendel as the leader of Trollmarket. He thinks about bringing some reform to the Tribunal and some obsolete traditions, thinking that trolls should start a new page in their history.

Aaarrrgghh always helps Blinky in his endeavors, but he protects peace in Arcadia. He's much like a local celebrity and kids love him.

Mary and Darci start a blog about various magical creatures, trying to show humans that the supernatural isn't that harmful. Mary also tries to date a troll at some point. It doesn't work, but only because of personality differences, not because their species are too different.

Barbara returns to drawing. Strickler uses some of his connections to promote her art a bit. Surprisingly, Barbara's art becomes really popular.

After some consideration, Strickler opens the school where different creatures, aliens, and humans can exchange their culture. He takes over as a principal and also teaches human history. Blinky comes over for troll history lessons, and when Claire is older she starts to teach Human World Literature there.

Eli is still the Earth ambassador at Akiridion-5, he's rather popular there. Eli is also the one who proposes the start of technological exchange with the Earth. Due to his efforts, Earth's technical progress is busted tremendously.

Steve the head of New Camelot Knights. However, eventually, once he is sure that everything is peaceful on Earth, he moves to Akiridion-5 to support Aja and help Eli. Even though Steve is officially married to Aja, he isn't that accepted at Akiridion-5 as it is technically breaking traditions. This time Aja informs him about all the nuances of akiridion reproduction. They still have kids, but only once both ready and consented to that.

Aja has a lot of stuff to solve, dealing with all the consequences of her parents' rule. She brings in lots of reforms and eventually limits her own authority, taking over the role of the main Akiridion-5 protector, while leaving everything else to those more fitting for it.

Krel moves to Earth, becoming Akiridion-5 ambassador and trying to popularize interstellar travels and exchange. He also has a side career as DJ Kleb.

Varvatos retires and starts living with Nana. Toby calls him granpa, which he doesn't like.

Douxie and Zoe go on the world tour with ADP once the world destruction is prevented. Claire, Mary, and Darci join them as Mama Skull.

Douxie opens his own cafe together with Jim. While they both are co-owners, Douxie enjoys taking over as a waiter occasionally, while Jim often cooks. It's the place where every creature is welcome, and well the Guardians often use it as their gathering spot.

Nomura becomes the leader of changelings who wish to return to troll society. Draal helps her a lot to fight for acceptance and against prejudices. They claim each other as mates, which causes an uproar in some circles. Even though both claim to be disastrous parents, they are great once they have their own kids.

Vendel retires, fully enjoying his rest. He comes to give blinky advice occasionally, but he's mostly a grumpy grandpa for everyone at the Trollmarket.

Dictatious takes over the troll library, adding some stuff he learns.

Angor goes on a travel (for an atonement, as he claims). He's seen all over the world, fighting against slavery and injustice at night. Soon enough he becomes a kind of city legend, and a lot of criminals are scared of him.

Bular goes to the Darklands, fully intending to reform the Gumm-Gumm tribe and get rid of the stigma they have.

Barbara and Strickler have their planned wedding and adopt some of the changelings' familiars, including Strickler's and Nomura.

Ironically, despite Jim and Claire being sure of each other feelings, Toby and Darci have their wedding first. It's the final push that makes Claire propose to Jim.

Enrique grows up to be a party monster, much because of NotEnrique's influence. They both tend to start parties which only Jim can stop.

Zelda (Nomura's familiar) is a huge fan of classical music, so they both can chat about it for hours. No one else is able to follow.

Wallie (Strickler's familiar), however, finds history boring. He's more of an IT and Math kid and is extremely talented. Strickler tells him the truth about their connection, and Wallie goes to live with Jim for some time to sort out his feelings. He forgives Strickler after some time though.

The world keeps changing as humans and supernatural beings learn to co-exist. Trolls take over dangerous mining, trading some difficult-to-get minerals. Humans also realize that trolls can eat some waste, which creates new ways to save nature. Nari feels that it's the world she, Bellroc, and Skrael wished to have before giving up and hopes that one day the rest of the Arcane Order will be unsealed and admit they were wrong.

Absolute madness. I feel it in my soul that Mari even vaguely refers to Adrian's home life and Toby volunteers himself to acquaint him with the world and instead gets him hooked on Gun Robot. I think Claire, Connie and Mari should also date amongst all that, I feel like they'd vibe hard. Connie and Jim connect on swords but she saw Claire and went hey Jim? You're girlfriend is really pretty, can I date her too

it'd be really funny if Adrian and Connie both also decide to date Toby, I think it'd be funny if it's everyone is dating Toby and also maybe like one or two other people in the group he deserves to be the Rizz King

and honestly, I think Darci just vibes with it, she like knows about it but idk if shed join the poly beyond "my boyfriend is in the group so we're all friends by association"

and yknow what, Alya and Nino deserve to be part of the group too. Mari/Alya and Adrian/Nino is so valid, they should be all allowed, Alya would get along so much with Claire i think. Nino and Toby are bros.

is there an official knk height chart or smth…. Idk if this is even true but for the longest time i thought rei was taller than tobi

Well…the closest we have to a knk height chart is not even related to knk, it’s this Fight Song height chart

It says that Tobi is at the self proclaimed height of 170cm tho Mariyasu themself notes he’s probably around 167cm-168cm

Other canons heights we have confirmed are Hitotsume’s at 200cm, Bun at also 168cm and well as you can see both Ryuuko and Baku. It is believed by some evidence that Kurukuru is 175cm but take that with a grain of salt

As for Rei….I saw a looooooong time ago how someone did the math using the manga panel where he’s with Hitotsume and they came to the conclusion he is around 150cm-160cm but this is just speculation

But just like with everything with this manga, heights are just not confirmed yet and we don’t have solid information on them THO by some panels I’ve seen them together it’s seems Tobi is taller than Rei

DAY OUT WITH THOMAS PUFFING BILLY

Was very underwhelming, a post ⬇️⬇️⬇️

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I was going to the day out with Thomas event at puffing Billy today! And honestly I'll start off with saying it was good, but not exactly what they promised.

To start, 'James' was supposed to be the leading engine taking us on our 40 minute trip. 20 there and back. I was actually surprised to see it was actually just puffing Billy himself on his normal line with his usual faceplate. Unless you had the front or back carriage, you couldn't see the engine at all. And we got one of the middle ones. :'^)

Obviously the little kiddies couldn't care less but it made me go MMMmm something doesn't add up here. Still, puffing Billy is an absolutely fantastic engine and it was great to see him pull and then take us backwards. Going over the bridge was probably my favourite part of the whole day.

Thomas was completely stagnant for the whole day. I knew this was the case as the website and event detailed that he wouldn't be pulling. This made a lot of families and children upset so they intercommed that 'Thomas was having some problems and can't take them right now' was pretty funny

Oh god

They played the entire all engines go sing-alongs on speakers THE WHOLE TIME. No rws media rep, no tvs rep, just all engines go. If you're a fan of it you'd love it but it was painful.

obviously, hole in the mouth gotta make it hard to eat. like most autistic 10 year olds i got MEGA fixated on warrior cats, and there's a character in it : crookedstar. bear with me for a moment.

having broken his jaw in an accident, crookedstar has a permanently twisted jaw. he solves this problem by tilting his head to eat with the more intact side of his face.

i like to think toby does the same, biting and eating with only the intact side of his face.

BONUS: either that or he just eats mega fucking fast before any food can fall.

hejkaa, dziękuje bardzoo!! mega mi miło ^^ podsyłam mój starszy nieco zmodyfikowany post z listą w sumie wszystkich rzeczy które pomogły mi schudnąć, tylko zaznaczę, że moje odchudzanie nie jest tak szybkie, ekstramalne i drastyczne jak u większości motylków. oczywiście skoro chcesz schudnąć, to napewno zrobisz to w taki sposób jaki będzie dla Ciebie najwygodniejszy, nie będe Ci prawić kazań o głodówkach i innych rzeczach. Nie wiem ile jesz teraz, ale najlepiej obcinaj sobie kalorie powolutku aż dojdziesz do wartości limitu który chcesz mieć, żeby po prostu sie do tego przywyczaić na spokojnie

1. Zacznijmy od tego, że dla mnie najbardziej efektywny jest wysoki limit - jem maksymalnie 1400 kalorii, ćwicząc przy tym. Wiele osób ma do mnie o to problem i twierdzi, że nie mam zaburzeń odżywiania jedząc tyle, ale czy mnie to obchodzi? Nie bardzo, bo to wciąż działa i chudnę. Wiadomo kto co woli, ale z większym limitem łatwiej jest żyć normalniej, mając siłe na codziennie czynności, ćwiczenia i wszystko inne. Mniej negatywnych efektów odchudzania, mniej napadów. Minusem jest to że proces odchudzania oczywiście trwa dłużej, ale szczerze to jak byłam na dietach 500 kalorii to potem już tego nie wytrzymywałam i miałam efekt jojo, myślę że sporo osób tego doświadczyło. Wiem, że to trudne jeść więcej i można mieć wyrzuty sumienia, ale po prostu ja to lubię 😭

2. Zaprzestanie codziennego ważenia się. Numerki jakie widziałam na wadze rano były wyznacznikiem mojego jedzenia w ciągu dnia. Jeżeli waga wzrosła, stwierdzałam - pierdolę to i tak nigdy nie schudnę i żarłam więcej. Jeżeli spadała, uznawałam, że mogę zjeść więcej, bo mi sie należy. Z kolei zatrzymanie jej wywoływało u mnie smutek i brak wiary w schudnięcie co też prowadziło do odstępstwa od diety. Waga człowieka sie waha, zatrzymuje i jest to normalne. Dosłownie nie ma sensu w codziennym ważeniu się, lepiej robić to raz na dwa tygodnie/tydzień

3. Ćwiczenia dopasowane do siebie. Jeżeli nie będą one dla Ciebie przejemne, to jak długo uda Ci sie je wykonywać regularnie? Ile to razy uznawałam, że codziennie będe robić treningi z youtube i polegałam? Wiele. Dla mnie taniec i kroki, czy to w terenie czy na bieżni okazały sie efektywne. Nie trzeba tego robić codziennie, kilka razy w tygodniu jest okej. Jeżeli wcześniej nie ćwiczyłaś, to warto zacząć od po prostu spacerów, jezeli są dlugie to sporo spalają, a można sobie przy nich słuchać muzyki

4. Woda, woda, woda. Ważne jest, żeby pić odpowiednią jej ilość. Oklepane powiedzenie, ale tak jest prawda. Polecam też herbatę zieloną. Oczywiscie niezdrowe jest picie za duzo, myślę że takie 2 litry będą git, wiadomo nie kazdy potrzebuje tyle samo plynow

5. Fajnie jest wprowadzić post przerywany, mi to pomogło. Polega to na tym, że je sie tylko w określonym czasie dnia np. podczas 8 godzin, czyli jem od 10 do 18

6. Jedzenia nie dzieli sie na złe czy dobre. Jeżeli masz ochotę na czekoladę, to nic sie nie stanie jeżeli zjesz jej kostkę. Tyje sie od nadwyżki kalorycznej, a nie od specyficznych produktów. Całkowite wykluczenie lubianych przez siebie produktów, może prowadzić do tego, że jeżeli dostaniesz je w swoje ręce to sie po prostu obeżresz i tyle

7. Jeżeli sie obeżresz, wybacz sobie i idź dalej do przodu. Każdemu sie to zdarza, mnie też. Nieważne jak wielkie są wyrzuty po tym, jeden dzień nadwyżki kalorycznej nie sprawi, że przytyjesz. "Ale rano waga mi podrosła" No tak, bo to jedzenie jest w tobie razem z wodą. Samo zleci jeżeli wrócisz do swojego normalnego trybu życia, nie trzeba sie katować. Jesteśmy tylko ludźmi, napad to nic dziwnego. Odchudzanie to żmudny proces, trzeba mieć do tego cierpliwość

8. Dzień dla metabolizmu. Zwyczajny dzień, w którym je sie więcej np. twoje zapotrzebowanie kaloryczne. Niektórzy ich nie stosują, niektórzy robią taki dzień raz na dwa tygodnie, albo nawet raz na miesiąc. Moim zdaniem fajnie jest to wprowadzić, obniża ryzyko napadu i pobudza metabolizm

9. Jedzenie objętościowe. 1000 kalorii pożywnego jedzenia nie jest równe 1000 kalorii totalnego dziadostwa, które jest dobre, ale sie nim nie najesz. Lepiej zjesć więcej niskokalorycznych produktów niż paczkę czipsów. Nie jest sie głodnym i jest po prostu łatwiej

Myślę, że to na tyle, te rzeczy bardzo mi pomogły!! Mam nadzieję, że coś z tego sie okaże pomocne, trzymaj się tam i powodzenia :D Zdrówka, wybacz że taki długi post mi wyszedł

he'll go on like, 7 hour long walks and collects dead bugs in a plastic bag and (tries to) pin them

he's the type of guy to have a pet spider

literally lives in the same musty hoodie and only takes it off to wash it

his music taste is a combination of numetal and emo, and hollywood undead is his favorite band

he's very 2000s older brother aesthetic if you know what i mean

he has a lot of body mods because he 1. thinks they look cool and 2. can't feel the pain that it takes to get them

lots and lots of stick n pokes

he has his septum, a nostril, both eyebrows, dolphin bites, n his tongue pierced (he did them himself)

he's in the process of stretching his ears and his septum too :3 but not too big cuz it freaks him out

he's literally always chewing on something

obviously really good at axe-throwing

his go-to snack is a cherry pepsi, cool ranch doritos or pizza combos, and sour patch kids

the woods is his happy place

he loves messing with his appearance :3 he thinks of it as just getting to customize his character

he keeps his hair on the longish side but you can't really tell because it's curly

I made a small mod for US-region Tomodachi Life that replaces some formal clothes with JP-region-exclusive clothes:

How to use:

These instructions assume you are using a modded 3DS running the newest version of Luma3DS (not a fork). Citra users IDK you're on your own sorry👍

Download and unzip OnionFS (click "OnionFS.zip") (OnionFS is needed because Tomodachi Life doesn't play nice with Luma's LayeredFS for whatever reason)

Copy the "OnionFS.3gx" file to luma/plugins on your SD card and rename it to "default.3gx"

Unzip the mod and put its OnionFS folder on the root of your SD card. File structure should look like this: SD:\OnionFS\0008C300\romfs\[...]

Before launching Tomodachi Life, open Rosalina (press L + Dpad down + Select) and check "enable plugins"

When launching Tomodachi Life, your top screen should flash blue and say "plugin ready!"

Issues:

Text replacement isn't working for the bunny suit, so it's still listed under "ninja suit" edit: This should be fixed now! i forgor costumes are in a different file than regular clothes

Twelve-layered ceremonial kimono deforms and clips into itself because it's just too darn big. I have no idea how to fix this (but it sure is pretty)

I haven't gotten to test this yet, but islanders may not pronounce the replaced names correctly or just use the old names. But I think they only ever say clothes names during afternoon market and maybe a few news bulletins so whatever

Known excluded JPN clothes:

These were purposefully omitted because headwear IDs are not thoroughly documented and I don't feel like figuring those out

How did you do this I want to do this

Trial and error mostly. This is my first 3ds mod so I may be doing it wrong but it's mostly just replacing/renaming files so. The sparknotes:

Use this spreadsheet and note the file IDs of both the clothing item to be replaced and the clothing item you want to replace it with

Extract the RomFS of both the source and target Tomodachi Life regions (godmode9 is your friend)

Copy the clothing item you want from the source version (model/body/"body_body###_LZ.bin") and rename it to match the ID number of the item you're replacing If you just wanted to replace the models, you're done! But if you want to change the item's name and description text to match, we're gonna have to get a bit more involved:

You need Kuriimu, download it here

In the extracted RomFS of your target region, find message/Clothes/"Clothes_US_English_LZ.bin" (file name will vary if you use a different region of course) and decompress it using Karameru. Then open the decompressed .bin in Karameru and extract it

Launch Kuriimu and look in the ArcBase folder. You'll be editing Body_Desc, Body_Name, and Body_Name_P. Items are sorted by ID.

When you're done editing, make sure to save, then open your decompressed .bin in Karameru again and right click each applicable file to replace it with its newly edited version. Save.

Tools > Compression > Nintendo > Compress > LZ11, select the decompressed .bin you just replaced files in

You're done!
