Nicknames That My Cousins Call Their Tiny Dog Maverick Ranked By How Well Pete "Maverick" Mitchell Would Respond to Them:

Mav: Canon, acceptable, and very common. His own son calls him that. He would respond normally.

Mavvy: I'll admit, it seems more suitable for a small white poodle than a small white man. That being said. I think this could be highly affective depending on who it's coming from and in what context it's in. Jokingly, by Goose, and involving alcohol? Mav will always respond ferally.

Rick: I literally never even thought of this one, but it is, in fact, in the name. Not normal. He would respond by being confused in a way that is awkward and not funny.

Ricky: Opposite of the last one. For some reason this one is oddly acceptable. Again, it depends on the person though. I actually can see both Charlie and Carole pulling this one off fantastically. He would respond by acting normal but internally being so caught off guard.

Also, my apologies for Iceman not being mentioned in the list at all. He simply calls Mav Peter when he's in trouble, and this dogs real name is not Peter so it doesn't work.

Welcome Back, SPLAT Logo

This year Nickelodeon resurrected the SPLAT design for its logo that hadn’t been used since 2009.

This week Yahoo! Entertainment shared an interview with designer Scott Nash who created the original logo. Nash went in depth about MTV’s role in inspiring the design, its use for the Nickelodeon brand, the decision to make it orange, the influence and legacy its had with the network and what came after, etc.

The most important thing about raising Watcher-loving children are their character qualities! And I'm proud to say that I'm raising such diligent little warriors for the Watcher! Mitchell recently came to us to ask for our blessing to look for a job, and now he's cleaning tables at a local fast food restaurant! So much initiative and such a desire to be a good provider for his future family!

Our girls are just as diligent as Mitchell is. Melanie and Melissa are so anxious that everything in the house needs to be just right! It must be their natural instincts as girls to want to have everything nice and pretty and clean and orderly, because Morgan, Mackenzie and Miranda are already following into their footsteps. Of course I have to remind them occasionally about their jurisdictions and about the standards we have in our house, but they're such wonderful little helpers and they aim to please so much, it's a joy to see!

Morgan: "Did we get everything done? Let me check the list again! And the doctor's set, did you get that, Kenzie?"

Mackenzie: "Yes!"

Madison: "I'm always scared when mom comes back home. She always screams at us, even when we get the whole list done."

Morgan: "Don't say that out loud, Maddie! You know you're in for a world of pain when mom hears you."

Madison: "I'm sorry. It's just... it's so hard to keep it inside."

Mackenzie: "I know. For me, too. I hate how she goes on and on and on about how we must be blind and stupid for not seeing a spot on the sink, or how we have to step up when there's another sibling, and how she isn't raising us to be all play and no work."

Morgan: "And don't look scared, either! We need to have pleasant countenances!"

Mackenzie: "I wish Lanie and Lissa were home."

Madison: "Hush! Here's mom!"

Morgan: "Oh no, Mitchell let Miranda out, run! Distract mom at all costs and I'll get her back inside!"

im literally thinking about our KoB game so hard. it was so. dope. and i don't even use the word dope it's just not common to my vocab. it was INSANE. the story telling. the visuals. everyone did such an AMAZING JOB with their characters. my god. eden fucking KO'd and ACTUAL DEMON in one hit, and then like. two hits after it evolved. it was insane. EVERYONE WAS IN LIMBO. IT WAS WILD. AND THEN WE GOT OUT!!!!! and melissa's (my char) graduation from limbo was represented by a fucking promotion at her 9-5 at a company called E-Corp 😭 i love this setting so so much. i am so unbelievably excited for the next session. everyone has just been stuck in a pseudo groundhog day where they HAVE in fact been living their new lives in Hell, but they had No clue they were dead or in hell, and only remembered their "jobs" associated with their sin. melissa has been eating whatever fucking take out every night and has no recollection of it. only processing souls in the most uncanny office ever. also there's a fuckin city gate guard because at least this area of hell is a Massive. GIGANTIC sprawling, layered metropolis and it was just a dog guy. mastiff. idk im just so excited i love this setting and characters already and aaaakjashdjahdkasjhlaj
