[MEIKO and Gumi Duet] Melt by ryo Supercell (Band Edition)

I really like Melt. This was originally going to be Meiko and Miku, but the sound I was going with both for the song sounded too similar to each other, so I switched out Miku with Gumi. They're in a train car while it's raining outside. I also learned here that while vsq doesn't work in Vocaloid 6 (and in the future not in Synthesizer V), midi files do. So old V1 files can work, but not old V2 files. The mysteries of tech.

Original by ryo Supercell. VSQ by sango312. The Band version sango312 used I don't know where they found it, the MP3 had garbled text, my best guess was a cover by Ogunya on NicoNico from 2008.

Ode to my kitties

I whine a lot about my kitties but the truth is they're very good kitties.

none of them scratch the life out of me when I cut their claws (and Kaori now needs the hind ones cut too; she really doesn't like it).

they get into the carrier without that much fuss (Kaori is easy peasy, Ryo doesn't like it at all but it's just a bit of wrestling, nothing much - and a lot of howling till he's out...).

the only times I get scratched badly it's if Kaori got suddenly scared while sleeping next to me or while I'm holding her (she's very jumpy).

Kaori even let me brush her, which is good because she lose hair like a tree in pollinating time. Ryo doesn't need it and doesn't care.

they both keep me company in their own way. now that it's winter I can again enjoy some under the sweater quality time with Ryo. it's always quality time with Kaori if I'm laying down long enough.

they stopped peeing outside the litterbox as soon as I realized it was a me problem and not theirs. now they don't do it even if I forgot to empty it for more than a day (never over two though, I'm not a monster despite my abysmal lack of energy lately).

Kaori also stopped (finally) to try and walk on the balconies banister. I've been also almost able to stop her to go sit on my plants (almost... I hope she will realize some day that only the star jasmine vase is a proper place to lay on.

they're also not breaking stuff. throwing shit down when they annoyed with me or bored? yes. am I bothered? more with me because it's my messy house and their cats and do what cats do. stealing my hair ties? yes. (Kaori, but she likes to play with them more than anything else, so...). do they act like it's famine time if the bottom of the bowl is showing? yes, but they do eat if I refuse and I shake them to shuffle the kibbles in the center.

if I'm doing something they want to participate. Ryo learned that if I put a chair beside me while working on something he can stay there and watch me and he will only occasionally put his paw forward to help me. even crocheting now is not that tricky with them around.

I was able to teach them that if I'm eating food the like they will not have more than two pieces and then I'm able to eat in relative peace (as long as I do it on the kitchen table which they learn is the only place they can't walk on).

they also know they can't do the usual "am I going out or staying?" in front of the window for hours because since they were kittens I taught them "you either go out / enter in 5 seconds or I'll close the window" (yes, you can teach them).

they're smart, cute, play a lot with each others, make me laugh and honestly, if it wasn't for them I would be in a way worse place.

sure, I would really like they could not just understand when I'm sick or sad but also like comforting me (I comforted Ryo a lot before I was able to tackle down his anxiety) but hey, every cat is different. Ryo is built to be a big brother and Kaori's the little princess of the house. you need a cat with huge parental instinct to do that and they don't have it.

but at least Kaori has the velcro attitude so... if I lay down in bed long enough she will be there.

Sukuna doesnt show it,but he loves it when you play with his hair.

His hair isnt soft like your; its slightly spikey and rough to touch. But it always smells nice,and when you comb your fingers through his locks gently , you can feel his tense muscles relax slightly.

So, as loving as he is, Sukuna tries to return the favor.

And fails miserably.

"Ow- Ryo,what- OW!!"

You turn around and pout at your boyfriend; eyes slightly glistening with tears.

"what are you doing to my hair exactly?"

And for once, Sukuna looks upset. He stares down at his fingers,then your hair, not meeting your eyes with an adorable frown.

For a second there, you even see a slight shadow of a pout on Sukuna's lips.

The mere sight makes yout heart melt.

"honey," you coo, nuzzling your head in his neck, "were you trying to make me feel better?"

Sukuna huffs and tries to push your face away, "whatever."

"no no!!!i really liked it!" When he gives you a look,you soften and take his hand in yours. Then, you rest it gently on your hair, "but,maybe a bit gentler?"

And Sukuna doesnt move for a good few seconds, and when you're sure he wont ever caress your hair ever again, his fingers start to move once more.

Gently. Carefully.

With so much care, it has your heart squeezing in your chest.

Slowly, your shoulders start to relax and you melt under his touch. A pleased sound escapes from your lips and you turn your head toward his, and give his sharp jawline a soft kiss.

And he doesnt reply. But from that day on, whenever you're stressed or tired, Sukuna knows how to cheer you up.
