I've already said it but I'm still unsure if Withers were that much of a threat in the past

Assuming the loot we get in Nether Fortresses and End Cities were from humans before us, I don't know exactly how they wouldn't be able to defeat a Wither. I can imagine some explanations like Wither's strength in lore not being 1:1 with their in-game strength, older Withers being bigger and harder to kill than what we know currently or even that it was spawned merely by accident which could also mean there were more than one Wither at the time

Honestly, it could be all of these but something still doesn't fully fit in my mind and I can't really point my finger to what's bothering me. I mean, we kinda have some confirmation of Withers being a threat at some point with disc 5 but I don't exactly know if it/they're The Big Bad

So I do have original stories and characters along w my Twst stuff. And I think my OCs Valkyrie and Mercury are so fucking funny

Val was the first OC I ever made in my life and Mercury was the 2nd (her name used to be spelled mercerie cuz dyslexia) and I was 7 when I made them.

Somehow, 7 year old me decided he was going to deliberately give Val massive bazingas. Noticeably bigger honkers than anyone else. And she was also trad goth off the get to so 7 yr old me created a big tiddie goth gf

Then I decide “ok, super tall big tiddie goth girl, she’s me”

So I give Valkyrie my exact fucking personality. Then I gave Mercury what I believed to be the exact opposite of my personality

Fast foward all this time later: Mercury is just like me FR and Val could not be more different past how we dress. Neither of their base characters changed it was me that did (for ref Val is ENFP and Mercury is INTP which I am also INTP)

Also somewhere in development they became girlfriends

But moving on, this has now developed into one of my most thought out stories yet of all the ones I have. It’s an in depth lore that has elemental themes and fantasy magic powers and giant crows and four planets based on the elements and yeah it’s super fun! Also it started as mine craft fanfiction.

Yeah big tiddie goth girl is just a fucking humanized enderman. And her short green haired gf is a creeper. And the two other main characters are a blaze and guardian. They are fucking minecraft mob girls that I turned into seperate OCs and slapped an elemental theme onto.

Yeah I just think that’s funny

Okay I'm finally doing the thing, I'm finally building the cursed sculk lab section of my nether lab

The lore here is that there's this secret lab to study things buried under my base. It exists either so the villagers don't find out about the things being studied or to avoid potentially dangerous things from affecting them (can't decide, maybe both). And so like this whole thing is for nether stuff. But I like to imagine that one day while exploring, they came across this weird blue-black thing deep underground, which seemed to be alive somehow. I.e.: sculk.

Brought back some samples to study and built a new room for it. From how it looked in the wild, it's obvious that it spreads to nearby blocks, but because it was found in these massive ancient ruins they assumed it spreads very slowly and had only managed to partially overtake the city even after hundreds or thousands of years. They assumed very wrong. The sculk ends up spreading far quicker, especially in the warmth of a nether lab, overtakes the room, and this lab wing ends up being quarantined off. (hence why it's the cursed sculk lab), but tiny bits of sculk veins have started to appear outside the door and even in a nearby pond on the surface.

Idk I've had this entire idea in my head since sculk was added to the game and just never got around to building the room lol

i can never take fancrafted minecraft lore theories seriously because people come up with so much creative and related stuff and the actual game is just 'theres this big building in the sea that at 'best' has a bunch of sponge and at worst just building blocks. theres also nothing else that alludes to why its there or what purpose it has. have fun. also you practically need to either find a random shipwreck and google what to do with the eye of the sea or go to the fucking nether to make waterbreathing potions to even get there. idiot'

of course a game with this big of a following can only do so much but like god. i feel like people interested in the game are practically building the game for them at this point. straight up free ideas
