WOOOO FINALLY STAR IS OUT Spoilers below the cut, obviously, but I think most of the spoilers are from the names...

So to start off, we have the Riverclan triplets in Graysky, Mistpool, and Frostdawn. Graysky and Mistpool are mostly the same, but there are still a few changes. Frostdawn changed completely. I came up with this new design for her ages ago, but I wanted to wait until she got her full name to post it. The waiting took FOREVER. The smaller scar on her neck is from Splashtail's first attack on her, it was initially a much larger wound, however the advanced medical care from the Twolegs made it heal better and therefore left a smaller scar. TNR ear tip, and I'd imagine the flank scar would go away after a while, but I thought I should put it anyway. After them is Whistlebreeze! A duller brown but still brown. I don't know what to call the little tufts of fur under her cheek fur, but I really like them on her <3. Then is newly crowned Icestar! You go girlie I am eagerly awaiting new PMVs and MAPs about you now that you're in the spotlight. I included below where the star would have gone on her old design, I didn't change the design because the star wouldn't fit, I changed it because she needed a new design; I wasn't satisfied with the old one anymore. After is Splashtail. Okay, look - his old design is nice to look at, but there's just too much going on. It's not cohesive, and I was having trouble remembering all the little details. So here's a new one. Gave him little fangs as a trade off for changing it so drastically again. Then is Berryheart, her design didn't really change I just wanted to fix her shapes and make the colors more contrasting. Then is Riverstar, whose design really changed. I think he looks like a blue jay now. And finally a new design for Dark Forest Curlfeather. It's the exact same base design, but now with her visceral death wounds. Oh and the curls/spirals on her body are more squarish in death, just to make them look more dense or matted.

Mistpool (+ Graysky) for @pinestripe37! Wow this took a while... The siblings are triplets, but with Mist and Gray being slighly larger than Frost. Mist is the brains, and Gray is the brawn of the duo. Playground bullies, but unyieldingly loyal to their family, and will raise hell if their tiny sister is in danger. I headcannon that they tried to openly attack Splashtail after Moth and others left, but got mauled half to death by his crounies.

Hey, If you still do those “warriors cats genetically accurate headcanons, may I ask your take on Curlfeather’s kits? Because Frostpaw is one of the few canon pointed cats but also her sister Mistpool is a tortie when Curlfeather and Jayclaw don’t carry the red gene? Assuming Curlfeather isn’t cream but that would mean Frost gets tortiefied too… also I’m pretty sure neither Jayclaw or Curlfeather are tabbies but somehow Graysky is?

But first i have to tell that i haven't read their books, so i'll make this up as i go.

These are their canon descriptions:

Frostdawn: light gray with darker color points, deep blue eyes.

Mistpool: tortoiseshell-and-white tabby.

Graysky: silver tabby.

Curlfeather: pale brown fur, amber eyes.

Duskfur (Curlfeather's mother): brown tabby.

Jayclaw: gray with gray eyes.

So Curlfeather definitely will be a tabby. (I don't do lilac or similar fancy colors.) This solves the Graysky tabby problem, but not the Mistpool orange and white spotting problems.

1. Orange

If we make Curlfeather a cream tabby, then Duskfur is a black tortie tabby, and yes, Frostdawn is a blue tortie point. However, this would also turn Graysky into something red-based which is pretty far from his canon description.

So instead i'll go with tortie Curlfeather; i'm tempted to put her down as dilute: blue tortie tabby. (This will make all the kits blue, too, i think that works very well with the names.) Duskfur is either a tortie tabby or the unknown father is red/cream.

2. White spotting

Whom to give the allele? Curlfeather or Jayclaw? Let's go with Jayclaw, because his mother, Petalfur is canonically white spotted. He will be smoke, too, so Graysky can get the silver allele from him, and I'll give it to Frostdawn, too. Doesn't really changes anything on her, but i like the idea.

So the final phenotypes:

Jayclaw: blue smoke with white

Curlfeather: blue tortoiseshell tabby

Frostdawn: blue smoke point

Mistpool: blue tortoiseshell tabby with white

Graysky: blue silver tabby

Jayclaw, Curlfeather

Frostdawn, Mistpool, Graysky

I enjoyed drawing my favorite kitties celebrating the Lord :D

Mistpool and Whistlebreeze writing the Good News in the sand, and of course they invited their littermates so Frost and Gray in the left corner and Flutter and Song on the left, and then there's little baby Stretchkit and she is Happy. :)

This picture was originally going to be just Mistpool but (turned into a celebration yay! :'D) since Whistlebreeze is the drawer in all my headcanons I realized it would make sense that Mist asked her friend to come help with the writing while Mist herself decorates- and Whistle is delighted to help & participate look at her tail!! (this part of my Whistlebreeze design is inspired by my irl cat Fifi and it was exciting to draw it- Whistle's tailtip goes floof when she's happy :D usually when she's with her friends or praising the Lord and here she is both so.. very happy Whis. :) And I used the same irl cat's video as a reference for little Stretch rolling around in the sand <3
