I'm making a Human Loop Mod!

Ok I need to do more research (it's a work weekend) but if I can figure it out, I can do a text mod for the game too! (I have rpgmaker MV)

Otherwise art changes wouldn't be at all difficult to implement. It's a simple matter of me making the art and directing others to place them into the right folders to override. I already have this running on my PC

Anyway, I'm making a whole new post to ask:

Anyone with experience modding rpgmaker mv games want to help out?

I've never tried to distribute a mod before, in my understanding I'd just upload the changed files but I wouldn't know which would be for text?

And, hell, since I'm asking, would anyone want to brainstorm the au? My inital thought was "Siffrin can't recognize themselves, they're face blind" but that wouldn't fly with Act 5 LOL so, idk, if I do end up making the text mod, we could work on a different story relating to Loop?

For a while I’ve thought that people hated Leo/need and More More Jump and I think the Enstars collab and Twitter prove it.

Enstars collab prove that people care more about the men than the girls (who make up 75% of the game), ignoring Haru5’s event, comm, and even going as far as saying they just purposefully do this

Leo/need only JUST STARTED getting maybe just a teeny bit more popular than it was before all because of the “down to play bass” meme that has been trending on Twitter. But other than that they’re basically ignored as well since none of their comms or events get the recognition that it needs (LITTERALLY ANY HONAMI COMM *cough*)

Both groups are just as interesting but no, all hail the men, all hail the obviously depressed, I encourage everyone to please read and listen to Leo/need and More More Jump comms/events -🌌

new game: at the end of each night check cyberpunk nexusmods. if there’s a nude, lingerie, skimpy, or body rig mod take a drink for every one u see. can sub out alcohol for taking a bong rip, smoking crack, snorting a line, etc. if there are any non-skimpy or non-lingerie clothing mods for fem v specifically you may subtract 1 unit of drug each from your total sips/hits/snorts for every one u see. repeat daily

BONUS: for every ported clothing mod >50mb add 1 unit of drug. for every ported clothing mod >1gb double the total. good luck

WxS event teaser commentary

I no longer despise WxS teasers for being unclear thank you Rui4 teaser. If I see one more person say this is definitely a Nene event I will start asking people to explain their reasoning without using the words Cyber Sniper.

Sorry for not doing one of these last month, college is not fun. Anyway, we're back now and there's barely anything to get out of this teaser but we'll try.

It's definitely a Rui event. There's so much purple there's no way it's not him. Also like, he's the only one left in WxS for their 4th event, and I doubt clpl is gonna pull a stunt like they did with the double Saki and Ichika banners back in the earlier years of the game. It's definitely a different vibe for him, what with the Showtime Ruler teaser having the nostalgic storybook, and Donketsu having a very melancholic feel, but nonetheless all his songs have a pretty unique style, obviously tying to his character arc of being "different".

It reminds me a lot of Kimagure Mercy actually. If this was going to be a 3DMV I would assume it would look something like that, but unfortunately this is 2DMV only. Maybe the sort of cyber/futuristic theming will tie into the cards? At the very least the song jacket will be taken from this teaser, as always.

It's impossible to tell what this event could actually be about, the teaser gives us nothing. Well, actually there is one thing, but it's a bit of a stretch. While looking through reactions to the teaser I found some tweets pointing out that there's coordinates at the start of the video that land you exactly in the real-life location of Scramble Crossing, so I double checked this and it's legit.

I was talking about this with some other people and one of them brought up that Scramble Crossing is where Rui used to do some of his guerrilla gigs before he joined WxS, so we were wondering if this event might cover some of his backstory (specifically his first year of high school spent at some sort of private/grammar school that was brought up one time and never again). However, it is a bit of a reach, the coordinates are probably just a nod to the location the game is set in. That said, I don't think we're going to rush into the plot introduced at the end of Tsukasa's event, we don't want this current arc ending within 2 or 3 events lol. The WxS disbandment arc, the mystery surrounding Nagi arc, and Mafuyu's arc all went on for literal years so there is always room for a more character-focused Rui event before we get more into the overarching plot I guess.

uh, yeah. apparently.

This is pretty bare bones, but I was proud enough to release it, in case some of you guys want to go through all the dialogue I made. Took me a while, there are many different options to chat with Daan :)

I feel like I am pretty satisfied with PRHVL Bop. I may add some touch-ups here and there, but It's pretty much done.

Beware, you can still compliment Daan's hair as any character, but only Karin will be able to start a conversation with him, almost as If he's only interested in her! :O

I spiced it up by including some lore about her! I plan to expand the lore of both characters since like with Marina, Levi and O'saa, I feel they are the characters that have most depth, and It would be awesome to add even more to them. (I'll probably change this dialogue to include the fact it's oversized, could get some cool dialogue out of that.)

So yeah, enjoy Daarin gang, as I deploy this Holy Friday's gift upon you. Next week school starts again, so expect mod development to reaaaally slow down. I need to focus on my studies. Sorry. At least you have this.

I recommend 7zip to unzip the file, but I think WinRAR should work as well.
