I feel like I have a weird relationship with empathy/sympathy, but I'm not sure

Like I've know for a while that I have way more empathy and sympathy for animals than I do for humans (which I've always chalked up to the fact that I've been horribly traumatized by humans over and over for my entire life while animals have never done anything even close) but over the past several months I've started to become more aware of (what I assume is) my empathy/sympathy for other people (or lack there of).

Like I'll have people who I genuinely care for and consider friends vent about something important to them and there are a lot of times where my genuine reaction is that I just don't care, sometimes I'm even annoyed.

Like, big fucking deal, get over it.

Afterwards (as in when I look back on the specific situation) I usually end up feeling guilty and ashamed because I'm supposed to be their friend, I'm supposed to care about them and their feelings.

Obviously I never actually say that type of thing to people but I still feel like a total asshole just for thinking like that.

I don't know if it's an empathy problem, a sympathy problem, a compassion problem, some combination of those things, or something else entirely, but it makes me feel like a bad person.

I don't know if I can ask for advice here but if I can I would greatly appreciate some, if not that's totally fine.

So mk12/mk1 shang is good,only if you ignore everything and everyone else and trash the whole game and only take the concept of that au and run basically.)

ive been in co-front a little more than usual, and i think id really love a fashion kit ^.^;

large oversized sweaters ( preferably striped ), cat accessories, zombie / undead accessories, patterned tights, and necklaces / chokers! dark pinks, blacks, and cyan colour palette in general please, and id prefer silver for any metal, if it's a possible choice, but that's very minor

uhmm no fleece or that scratchy printed fabric material ( i don't know what it's called ;⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ ) pleasee
