i think i’m approaching terminal burnout

#can’t quit my job because I’m saddled with 100% of the payments on a $500k mortgage because my brother has been an unemployed neet for 9mos.#can’t take time off of work because there’s no one to cover for me and every day I’d take off just puts me one day (or more)on my work #And it’s work that requires me to stay on a strict schedule because that’s what’s required for nursing homesto continue operating in albert #I have no life outside of work #Don’t even have time to enjoy my acreage #Also was sick for 3 weeks in august and still had to work from home that entire time. No days off and no drop in productivity allowed #And I just constantly get shit on at work. No appreciation just getting criticized #and I have no life outside of work because I fucking work 6 days per week. And my friends are sick of hearing me bitch about it all #And my mom told me last week not to talk to her if I’m going to complain about how bad things are for me lol.#so I guess I’ll just write long winded text posts on tumblr.com and throw them into the void #lol #oh i forgot to mention that I’m also surrounded by I’ll demented and/or dying people on a daily basis so the job is extremely depressing

Because of the position of our house (and the fact that we have more windows than walls) the sun shines on our verandah/lounge room from the moment it rises until it ducks behind the mountain (3pm in winter 8pm in summer). I think our house gets more sun than anyone else in the suburb, all the other houses are shaded for the majority of the day by trees, other houses, or the mtn because they sit right where the incline increases, but our house is on a v wide corner at the end of the street, so there's no house next to us, the house behind us is MUCH lower (we block their sun lol rip) and the house across the road is v far (the mtn blocks the sun before their house can). Basically we may have bought a house at the worst time in history but we hit the sunshine lottery lol

#i think a lot about how #the circumstances that required us (me) to buy a house at the worst time (my grandparents' care needs) allowed us to actually buy it #(the sale of their house and legally gifting me the money)#as much as everything is SO EXPENSIVE please stop taking my MONEY when i am trying to SURVIVE #our mortgage is so small compared to most peoole who bought a house in the last 3 years #when the news shows how much the latest interest rate rise will affect mortgage repayments #the lowest mortgage loan amount they show is still bigger than our current loan #so i know we have it so much easier than almost everyone #which is horrifying 😩#anyway i always pretend the cost of the house included the minimum 8 hours of sun a day we get #and feel better about it lol ☀️#tp

Have I told you people that I finally bought a house? I bought a house and I've begun renovations to bring the kitchen into this century.

This weekend:

Built a fence

Removed wallpaper from kitchen and 1 bedroom

Got all my appliances

Mowed 3 yards

Physically had to go into water office to make an account bc they won't let you on-line and got it turned on same day

Spent several hours ripping out toxic-to-dog plants from garden bed

Decided on countertops and new shingles

Called 811 to set an appointment to mark my lines and pipes 🫠

Aforementioned ER vet visit (which further emphasizes why I've spent full days ripping out plants from new house specifically for my dog)

In conclusion, my body hurts.

The universe can stop now. It can stop. I’ve had enough now, it can chill out. I’m good. It can stop.

#for god’s sake #i’m nine months pregnant #our new washing machcine bought in feb is defective #and i’ve been fighting for a repair or preferrably a return for 3 straight weeks #with seemingly no progress #bc as soon as it was fixed it broke again #no one told us when we bought our house 2 yrs ago we’d have to file for primary residency #so our taxes jumped up 58.6% and our mortgage company raised our mortgage $600 more a month to compensate #i’ve had to call so many county clerks offices to retroactively try to fix that and bring it down #but they’re on a time scale of 6-8 weeks #which mathing out from when i got the paperwork filed is my due date or 2 weeks after #and the bank got part of it fixed but isn’t applying it to our next payment yet #our insurance decided now was the time to require us to use their online pharmacy for ‘maintenance drugs’#but took 2 weeks to tell me if my pregnancy stuff was considered maintenance bc it’s short term #i’m having to try and get a company to pay for the medical bills from my er trip when i got food poisoning #and it took me dozens of calls just to figure out what bills were coming from where and how much #i’m going to four med appts per week bc i’m stupid high risk #and can’t eat anything without intensive math because of this stupid gestational diabetes #to the point where i can’t even have unsweetened applesauce in my cottage cheese anymore bc that’s started spiking my blood sugar #found that out today #and on top of it all #i just had to call our internet company #bc i saw a $130 bill and was like that can’t be right #but no #it is #the promotion i was put on in november that i was told would last 6 months and keep our bill down to $60 a month #oh no #it was marked for expiration on march 3rd no matter what #and every other thing i was told about it was a lie and now i have to face living with it or finding a new company and i’m tired #just. please can everything just sort itself out so when i go into labor i don’t have to think about any of this shit
