I do have a Disney world HC! Inspired by @gallapolls post!

Mickey is reluctant to go, he doesn’t wanna hear all the Mickey Mouse jokes that Ian will make. Plus he doesn’t care about Disney stuff. But Ian thinks it’ll be fun and he promises Mickey they can get drunk while they go around the park. (I’m assuming you can drink in Disney world? I’ve only ever been to Disneyland in Paris and you can drink there….)

So off they go….and it’s about half an hour before they have a disagreement (aka argument) 😅 but they are getting better at communication so they decide to split up for a little bit, cool off and meet in an hour.

Ian kinda has fun by himself but he misses his husband. So he texts him, asks him to meet earlier. No reply. Is Mickey being petty? Ian texts again. No response. Then phones him and it goes straight to voicemail. Just as Ian is beginning to panic a voice comes over the loudspeaker “can Mr Ian Gallagher please report to Disney jail, we have your husband.”

Of course they fuckin’ do 😑 Ian arrives to find Mickey has been caught stealing a pair of Mickey Mouse ears. Mickey says he’s been setup. Ian tries to diffuse the situation, asking if they can just pay for the mouse ears and leave? Mickey refuses to pay. The guard gets annoyed. And starts to be rude, threatens to call the cops on both of them.

Mickey takes matters into his own hands, knocks the guard out, and runs - dragging Ian (and the mouse ears) along with him. They manage to get out of the park without getting caught. Ian is pissed - why did Mickey have to steal? Mickey replies he was doing it as a peace offering - he was gonna surprise Ian and wear them. Oh. Ian kinda likes the idea of Mickey wearing mouse ears, that sounds cute. He forgives him, as long as Mickey promises to let Ian take pictures of him wearing them.

1. Besides “Mick” and “Mickey”, what’s Ian nickname for Mickey? From all the nicknames Mickey calls him , what’s Ian’s favorite?

2. What’s the story behind Mickey’s knuckle tattoos? (When / how / by who) When Ian gets a tattoo for Mickey, what is it / on what occasion?

3. Random turn-on for Mickey and a random turn-on for Ian? (Bonus: something that really shouldn’t be a turn on but is)

4. What’s their Instagram @ ? When did they start following each other?

5. If they get a pet, is it a dog (who walks it more often?) or a cat (who cuddles with it more often) ?

1. I want it to be a simple love, but I feel like Ian would be more cutesy haha. I bet he calls him love bug when Mickey's being cuddly. Babe in casual conversation, maybe, and definitely Mr. Gallagher when he's being cheeky.😂 Ian himself most enjoys husband and lover for sure.

2. Either he asked his brothers to do them to prove himself, or his dad set it up when he was old enough (by sad Milkovich standards of early teens) to act as muscle.

Ian definitely gets Mickey's name over his heart with an intentional misspelling and reveals it on a completely random day out of nowhere.

3. Oh man...Mickey is super into Ian's petty side, and thinks it's the hottest thing every when he goes off on idiot strangers. Ian finds it incredibly sexy when Mickey does anything domestic-the more inane the chore, the hotter it is. He once got so turned on by Mickey folding clothes that they had to redo their laundry.

4. I still know nothing about Instagram lol. Ian's is bigredtomato and he posts pics of his garden, Mickey, and plants that remind him of Mickey. Mickey doesn't even know what his is anymore, the login was saved on an old phone and he lost access when he upgraded. He uses Ian's to check on family.

5. Dog first, a pit bull that Mickey says is a guard dog but is really a love bug because pit bulls are the SWEETEST. It loves them both but will happily abandon them for Franny or Freddy in a heartbeat.

One day it won't come inside when they call, and they find it in the far corner of the fenced yard by the woodpile, cuddling a bedraggled stray kitten. Mickey swears up and down that they are NOT keeping it, their pet dog does not need a pet cat, but the next day he's already taken it to the vet, bought food and toys and a bed, and is sleeping on the sofa with the cat on his chest and the dog on his feet when Ian gets home from visiting Lip.

Beloved Calli! Let's get to it:

23. If they wrote a card to one another, what would they write? And what kind of card would it be?

I think Ian would spend time picking out one of those cards that's blank but has a beautiful cover, figuring Mickey isn't into cheesy sentiments written by some bored dude at a desk working for some greeting card corporation. I don't know what I think he'd write, exactly, but he'd fill the whole inside with something sweet and genuine and earnest, in classic Ian fashion. Mickey would tease Ian for being a huge, soft sap, but he obviously loves that shit so much and is just as sentimental and sappy.

So Mickey's card would also be sappy. It wouldn't start out that way, though. It would start out sarcastic and a little funny, but he loves Ian so much and is still so in awe that he even gets to have this, so he can't help but end it on a sweet note. Ian tears up, obviously. And Mickey would make that card, too. He'd do it every year for their anniversary and Ian's birthday. And I don't mean something out of construction paper that looks like a little kid did it (not that Ian wouldn't appreciate and treasure that just as much), but something really gorgeous with unique materials and everything. Ian keeps 'em all in a drawer in his nightstand and pulls them out to look at them every once in a while. 🥺

29. How much time do they spend in bed? (Do they leave it at all...?)

Ian makes Mickey promise the night before that they won't spend the whole day in bed, which Mickey is resistant to because he absolutely does not want to promise that. But he humors Ian and is like sure, whatever, I promise ya fuckin buzzkill 🙄

But then that morning after they share a sweet, sleepy Happy anniversary, Mr. Milkovich. Happy anniversary to you too, Mr. Gallagher they can't help but fall into some lazy, tender early morning lovemaking. They get out of bed after that for coffee, but then they're in the shower together and can't keep their hands off each other, so they decide to finish in bed. And then they go again. And after a brief break they go one more time. And afterwards Ian is like please we can't keep doing this, I was gonna make you dinner, let me get up so I can go to the store and Mickey's like shut up, we can order takeout later. So yes they do spend the majority of their day in bed, whoops. But the thing is, it's so painfully tender the entire time. They're so into each other and yeah they can't help being a little spicy, but this is straight-up making love, my dudes. All day. And it's a fucking blast.

9. What scene or moment always makes you smile?

This one, because it’s their first -actual- husbands scene (other than the day-after morning one) and they are super domestic-bitches-like, with the morning kiss and the “Mr. Gallagher” and “Mr. Milkovich” thingy. Mickey being raw with all the sex they have done and Ian being cocky “I can go another 5 now”. And this also answer your next question.

21. Favourite nickname?

“Lover” from Mick to Ian, I know that Mickey has used it almost sarcastically but I LOVE it, and I am using in it my fic Afterglow because it’s just adorable.

“Babe” from Ian to Mick, even if he has used it only once, but it’s fair, I can’t see him calling him babe all the time, just a spur of the moment kinda thing.

Hi anon!💖 You know, I don't really think they'd do it officially-marriage paperwork was probably enough to last them a lifetime haha--but I could totally see them just...adopting it?

Like, they'll refer to each other by Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Milkovich so interchangely they confuse the hell out of their neighbors, their clients, and Franny's and Fred's teachers on their babysitting days. Sometimes a hyphenated version gets thrown in, sometimes Ian abbreviates it (and gets smacked for his efforts), and eventually everyone just gives up and goes with whatever they say.😂
