The Wallace Collection/UK. The collections in the museum are most famous for paintings from the Renaissance to the 19th century, with classic French, Dutch and Flanders names from the 17th and 18th centuries as highlights. Boucher's portrait of Madame Pompidou, the lover of French King Louis XV, Fragonard's classic "The Swing" and Hals's "The Smiling Knight" are all hidden here.
