Canonically? I don't know, tbh. Reboot Ghost is not clear if he has the same background as 09 Ghost. I personally adapted it for my fic, but as a whole, we don't know what Activision is thinking. Let's say 09 Ghost background is canon for Reboot Ghost too.

On the one hand, we know his father was an abusive piece of shit, so I get why he wouldn't want to pass down his genes. I guess he'd be bothered about being like him, should he have kids.

On the other hand, Tommy and Joseph also had those genes, and he loved them dearly. His mum also put half her genes too. So there must be something good inside him, if he could survive all the darkness in his past. He left the military briefly to help his brother. That's something someone caring would do, not a bastard.

So I think he'd say that yeah, to hell with his genes, the Riley bloodline dies with him. I think he'd consider himself to have too much baggage to burden a SO with it, and let's not say burdening little ones with it too. I don't think he'd want that.

Now, getting off Activision's canon (eww Activision) and getting into mine. He'd be equally as terrified and reluctant, even if, when faced with the fact that it's happening, deep inside he'd feel a tiny spark of joy. He'd have to be convinced that the good Rileys trump the asshole one, five to one (mum, tommy, beth, joseph, and him).

So... maybe it'd be more of a fuck you to the Riley's 'bad' genes to live well. To be a good partner and father, better than his own ever was. And to teach his kids to rely on each other but be equals, and raise them to be good people.

Good Saturday morning (here), afternoon there.

Movie share - I watched this older movie (2016) last weekend (on Netflix) - Maudie. It was about a Canadian folk artist. I'm sure that is what caught my interest.

If/when I make it to Halifax, Nova Scotia I will have to look the house up. Imagine living your day to day surround by all of this bright artwork on everything you could get your hands on to paint. (I might need a sleeping mask.)

Have you watched anything interesting lately? Is so, please do share. An artist I should look into? We have had a mild winter here. (Other parts of my country have been blasted with snow.) As we head into spring and our gardens wake up, I look forward to your photos.

Yay! I hope I will have time to watch the film it looks great. Unfortunately, I didnt watch any new films last two weeks. We were talking about authoritarian regimes and we watched The Death of Stalin and with the second class we watched probably my favourite adaptation of Dracula Bram Stokers Dracula directed by Coppola. It was fun. We will do some analysis of the film next week. What kind of movies do you like? I think I could recommend you some.

Oh my! The weather here is crazy. Today was april weather. Sunny, then rainy then came snow and then was sunny again. Flowers and trees are blooming. Everything is quite forward this year.
