yandere omega cultist introduction
more bad art. more disjointed thoughts. i hope i don't contradict myself when i write his part 2.
cw;; religion, omegaverse, yandere tendencies, nsft
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nephite is a very devoted and proud follower of Happy Homes. he loves his church, he loves his pastor, he loves his god.
he's always so happy to prepare the sacrament and take care of the youngest members of the church. absolutely anything he can do to help makes him happy.
his father is a very strict and rigid in his beliefs kind of man. his beliefs aligned nicely with the founder's so he and his wife joined when they had just gotten married. all their children have been raised in the cult and they don't know about anything outside of the compound.
Nephite's family along with a few others are technically considered lowest in the church hierarchy because they entered the church after marriage. they don't get treated poorly it just means they're in charge of providing food for the compound.
the coming of age omegas were promised that if they brought new alphas to the cult they would raise in rank with their new families.
Nephite was especially looked at favourably for this due to being a "dominant" omega. he was promised that his new family would be able to rise to the level of elder right under the founder's own family.
his family was more excited about the new power than he was, he just wanted to serve the church.
after meeting you the promise that elders were allowed to go into the city made the raise in rank more appealing to him.
he wants to go to all of your favorite places. he wants to go to the movies and eat popcorn. he wants to play games at the arcade. he wants to try sweets at the cafe. he's never wanted to go to the outside world before he met you.
the church never teaches that the outside world is some ominous and dangerous threat. just that impure omegas have convinced people to disrupt the natural order. if you showed any member of the cult omega/omega couples they would combust.
thats why Nephite has to save you. he has to pull you away from the wickedness of the outside world before you become ruined. if you told him you'd been in alpha/alpha relationships he would combust.
honestly if you tell him about your dating history or experiences he'll combust. he knows it's wrong for an omega to be angry and aggressive but he can't help himself. the idea of any impure hands touching you sends him spiraling.
he could easily be convinced someone else in the cult wants you for themselves. especially if his pastor says so.
he trusts anything his pastor tells him even if it was utterly ridiculous. he was the kind of kid who believed in santa until adulthood. he would believe you if you said the sky was red.
you're the only one who overrides the pastor's words. if the pastor tells him to leave you because you don't love him he wouldn't believe it.
honestly if you started saying you don't love him he could probably justify to himself why you're lying. lying is a sin but its ok he forgives you.
he loves wearing dresses. at first it might seem like a religious thing but the other male omegas in the community usually only wear dresses to church. he wears them all year round.
if you buy him a sundress he'll be so happy he'll wear it every chance he gets. he flaunts it to all his friends how his alpha got him something pretty.
buy him anything and the whole commune will know about it baring few exceptions. you bought him a new bible? he takes it with him everywhere. you bought him some jewelry? its always on to show off at a moments notice. you gave him a cool rock? its his lucky rock and has to go everywhere with him.
he adores pet names. call him anything even if it doesn't sound that cute and he's thrilled. he calls you husband and alpha and dearest until he can't talk anymore.
if you call him wife he'll probably start crying. he likes husband too but he was taught all omegas are wives so he'll probably be confused at first if you call him that.
nsfw
his dad was in charge of making his account and monitoring his messages so unfortunately for you if you ever sent something dirty. the pastor probably also saw it. sorry.
Nephite definitely smells like blackberries and honey. its sweet and warm and permeates through everything he owns.
he has a breeding kink. major breeding kink. after your first night together its like he's constantly in heat (his actual heats are so much worse). he knows it's a bit naughty but he won't be satisfied until he's pregnant.
he'll be understanding if not a bit sad if you don't want to have kids but still tell him you're gonna get him pregnant every night anyway.
one of the few things he wouldn't go around letting everyone know you gifted him is lingerie and toys.
you'll need to explain toys to him a little bit but he understands lingerie. he loves lingerie. if you buy him some he'll wear it under his dresses all the time. it feels a bit naughty but he doesn't mind.
definitely secretly has a corruption kink. he's devoted his whole life to being a pure innocent soul so when his husband who he's equally devoted to starts making him be naughty he gets such a thrill.
he'll cry and beg you to not turn him into a pervert but he's just talk. nothing makes him squirt harder than being told he's dirty.
and he is a squirter. you have to work him to it but the moment your knot pops inside of him its over for him.
the cult doesn't believe in modern medicine like heat suppressants or birth control so everyone in the compound uses natural remedies for everything. except that doesn't work for dominant omegas. most modern heat suppressants don't. Nephite's first heat was absolutely brutal for him and he was stuck in bed for two weeks before they finally let him see a doctor in the city. that's when he learned about his status and he was put on some of the strongest heat suppressants. it works but it did make him feel weaker sometimes.
luckily now he's married so he threw all that out. he doesn't let you take any rut inhibitors either. when it's time for either of you he just politely tells the pastor that he'll be gone for the next two weeks. they don't always last that long but he likes to get extra cuddles in while the last of it fades.
its during his first heat with you that you mark him. its a weird marriage ritual the cult has where the pastor distributed heat inducers into Nephite. the elders of the cult along with the pastor watched you guys. it really ramped up the creepy cult vibes. but Nephite was happy.
he knows you can't mark him more than once but he always wants you to bite him again. he likes if you leave any marks on him. claw his hips, bite his neck, leave hickeys on his chest. he doesn't care how hard it is to cover up he'll be happy.
loves to steal your clothes. he'll remake his nest about once a week and give you back your clothes so you can add your scent again. and the ones that dont pass the nest test he wears to bed until they lose their smell.
he'll welcome you home like "do you want dinner, a bath, or me?" and if you don't say him he'll pout all through dinner.

Thank you to the non-LDS folk who let me talk to them about the LDS religion and share the gospel. I will not be able to go on a mission in the near future due to my transness. But I have such a strong testimony in the church and want to share that with others. Thank you for listening to me. Asking questions. I love the questions, and I love researching them to help you. I genuinely love teaching others. I just talked to someone about the Nephites & who they were. I know it is just a peak of interest to them, but for me it is an opportunity to teach. To be like my savior. I know that to them it is so minuscule. To me, I get to serve like my older sister, even if it is in different ways. Thank you.

Ok, new Mormon crack theory:
What if the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of the Earth
Mormon Scripture is clear that the Earth is a being with Agency. Early teachings indicate that it will be The Exalted (and it's Exaltation will be to become the Celestial Kingdom)
The Earth is depicted as judgemental. She rejoices in & blesses Zion, but sad and even angry over sin (weeping with God in the days of Enoch, destroying the Nephites at the Crucifixion, and even Climate Change can be seen as a manifestation of her rage at the abuses we are performing)
All things have Spirits, but not all things are alive. So, maybe the Spirit of the Earth is merely given authority over the various aspects of the world (similar to how all our cells are alive, but come together to form tissues, which form organs, which form the body, which we have authority over. So, Plants & Animals are the cells in this metaphor)
Do I believe this, not necessarily (the Holy Ghost is our awakened divinity still makes more sense imo). Could I be convinced to believe it, yes

FAQs about the Book of Mormon
What is the Book of Mormon?
The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ! It is a record of a people who were told by God to flee Jerusalem before it was besieged by the Babylonians (the same event that brought Daniel to the court of Nebuchadnezzer), and who eventually ended up on the American continent. I know, it sounds kind of miraculous, but as we know, "...with God, all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). The Book of Mormon talks about their lives, the doctrine and prophecies of Christ, and records the visit of the resurrected Christ to these people. In short, the Book of Mormon "...is to the convincing...that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, manifesting himself unto all nations..." (Title Page of the Book of Mormon).
So does the Book of Mormon replace the Bible?
Definitely not- the books of the Bible and the books of the Book of Mormon are meant to be used together- they are both testaments of Jesus Christ! In fact, there's a scripture in the Old Testament that is a prophecy of the Book of Mormon being used to teach Christ's Doctrine- Ezekiel 37:16-17
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: 17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
The stick of Judah in verse 16 is the Bible- the Old Testament and New Testament- which was written for and by the descendants of Judah (aka the Jewish peoples) and the Book of Mormon, which was written by the descendants of Joseph (aka the Nephites- the people who left Jerusalem). But don't forget verse 17- which says that both sticks shall become one- they are meant to be used as one and have the same purpose, which is to bring everyone to Christ.
Can you prove the Book of Mormon is really scripture?
I can't, no. But you can find out for yourself- just like you know the Bible is true scripture. When you read the Bible, you do so prayerfully and thoughtfully, trying to learn what God wants you to do. Remember how you came to know the Bible is true, and apply that same process to the Book of Mormon. In fact, there is a "how to" in the last chapter of the entire book (Moroni 10: 4-6)
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. 5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. 6 And whatsoever thing is good is just and true; wherefore, nothing that is good denieth the Christ, but acknowledgeth that he is.
In other words, just because a person says the Book of Mormon is true doesn't mean it is... which also means just because a person says the Book of Mormon isn't true doesn't mean it isn't. There is nothing that makes one person a better authority on it than the other. That is why you need to ask God- He knows all things, wants the best for you, and will not lie to you!
So remember- nothing that is good denies Christ, and the Book of Mormon acknowledges and testifies of Christ- give it a shot!
What other FAQs about the Book of Mormon do you want addressed? (Just a reminder from my pinned post: only good faith questions- I'm not here to argue or debate with anyone, but here to explain where we're coming from!)

Note
Are you willing to condemn the racism the Mormon church has taught you?
The church has been wrong on Racism, Patriarchy, Misogyny and Anti-queerness.
One message that is given in scriptures in different ways is that God loves us all and treats us the same, and we should do likewise.
Deuteronomy 10:17 - For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.
Mark 12:31 - The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
John 13:34 - “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
Acts 10:34 - Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism
Romans 2:11 - For God does not show favoritism.
Romans 10:12 - For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 3:11 - Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
2 Nephi 26:33 - ...black and white, bond and free, male and female; … all are alike unto God
Furthermore, the Book of Mormon can be seen as a cautionary tale about a group of violently racist misogynists who wound up getting annihilated explicitly because they would not stop being violently racist misogynists. It also teaches that pride and wealth inequality doom civilizations. Too many Mormons view the Nephites as the heroes of the Book of Mormon and want to be like them, but D&C 38:39 warns us, "lest ye become as the Nephites of old."

2 Nephi 5
So y'all now know where I stand on Nephi being an unreliable narrator. In one of my previous posts, I talked about this in reference to his treatment of his family and his leadership. I tackled the racism superficially, so let's go ahead and choke slam it the rest of the way.
20 Wherefore, the word of the Lord was fulfilled which he spake unto me, saying that: Inasmuch as they will not hearken unto thy words they shall be cut off from the presence of the Lord. And behold, they were cut off from his presence. 21 And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them.
2 Nephi 5:20-21
Has this passage been used historically to enable racism in the Church, including the justification for the racial priesthood restriction? Yes. Absolutely. Curse of Cain. Curse of Ham. Less valiant in the presence. Slavery being perpetuated into eternity. The whole shebang. This isn't the origin, as early pro-slavery church leaders pursued biblical justifications for slavery like everyone else. What this verse did was present the opportunity for Saints so inclined to create their own Mormon flavored versions of those justifications.
How does Come Follow Me approach these attitudes and the racism that perpetuated them?
What was the curse that came upon the Lamanites? In Nephi’s day the curse of the Lamanites was that they were “cut off from [the Lord’s] presence … because of their iniquity” (2 Nephi 5:20–21). This meant that the Spirit of the Lord was withdrawn from their lives. When Lamanites later embraced the gospel of Jesus Christ, “the curse of God did no more follow them” (Alma 23:18).
The Book of Mormon also states that a mark of dark skin came upon the Lamanites after the Nephites separated from them. The nature and appearance of this mark are not fully understood. The mark initially distinguished the Lamanites from the Nephites. Later, as the Nephites and Lamanites each went through periods of wickedness and righteousness, the mark became irrelevant.
Prophets affirm in our day that dark skin is not a sign of divine disfavor or cursing. President Russell M. Nelson declared: “I assure you that your standing before God is not determined by the color of your skin. Favor or disfavor with God is dependent upon your devotion to God and His commandments and not the color of your skin” (“Let God Prevail,” Ensign or Liahona, Nov. 2020, 94).
As Nephi taught, the Lord “denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; … all are alike unto God” (2 Nephi 26:33).
I've heard theories that the skins, rather than talking about the complexions of people, refers to the clothing skins they wore, or some kind of mark they would put on their faces such as tattoos or body art. I've also heard people lean into the notion that this was meant to be metaphorical, centering the images in the text of flint or scales in their eyes. What the church is attempting to teach now in Come Follow Me is that we don't know what is meant here, but it's NOT complexion. I don't find any of these compelling and I want to talk about why.
So we don't know what it means? But we know it's not racist? So which is it? You can't have it both ways like that. So let's be honest!
We know it's not intended to be racist because the Church tried that for over a century, and it became obvious it was ungodly, abusive, false. We are willing to admit now that such attitudes contradict Scripture and the nature of God because our community existed in the ridiculous position of maintaining racist policies in the face of those scriptural contradictions that condemned us. THAT'S how we know the Lamanite "curse" is not supposed to signify complexion skin color.
We paid dearly for that lesson in how many people were denied the fullness of God and his blessings, so let's not diminish that history so we don't have to repeat it. Especially since the Church exists in cultures and societies around the world who are currently attempting to conceal this kind of history so they can go on repeating it.
Besides being disingenuous with what our experience as a community has been, my issue here is that these attitudes deserve more complex and sophisticated dismantling than this. Especially because with these justifications of alternate curses being proposed, the crucial lesson here is going unlearned.
It is counter to the nature of God and the order of heaven to punish the innocent. Curses that expand beyond the necessary bounds of punishing the perpetrator(s) are inherently unjust, regardless of the nature of the curse. We don't believe that children are punished for the sins of their parents. Period. That's what the scriptures teach. We have an entire Article of Faith dedicated to that principle. God does not curse anyone for sins they didn't commit. People do that. God does not.
The racial priesthood restriction became our Original Sin, with more steps. It was nothing short of hypocrisy, perpetuated by prophets and apostles who had every reason to know better, but didn't. It was where the leadership of our church, in the attempt to appear smart and clever, copied the homework from the rest of Christianity when they became obsessed with scientific racism and eugenics, and it took us WAY too long to admit the mistake. And in many ways, our community STILL can't openly talk about it or admit to it. Which is how we end up with weak sauce explanations like the one given in Come Follow Me for 2 Nephi 5.
I'm not afraid to say that prophets and apostles are capable of teaching false doctrine. They are imperfect human beings who are susceptible to making these kinds of mistakes and leading people astray. This is a reality we must be prepared to face as believers in community with one another.
If we can't see and condemn these failures in someone like Nephi, how can we hope to see and recognize them in someone like Brigham Young, J. Reuben Clark, or Bruce R. McConkie?
Note that Come Follow Me quotes 2 Nephi 26. These are some of my favorite verses in all of scripture. Let's realize together that Nephi had to grow into this revolutionary vision of a God who embraces all people without prejudice. By the time Nephi reaches the maturity to say that "all are alike unto God," the perpetuation of his prejudice and the attending destruction in the conflicts of his people were already set into motion. He spent his remaining years finally teaching the truth of respect and inclusion his younger self didn't know how to believe in.
At the exact moment he finally envisions the love of God, the curse he describes in 2 Nephi 5 had already taken root into the cultures of two groups who would go on hating each other until the bitter end. The prejudice Nephi taught became the defining obstacle for the Nephites and Lamanites, shaping the beliefs who came afterwards, who continue to appeal to and describe this curse throughout the rest of the narrative. Nephi created this curse, at least in part, and every generation after him found ways to perpetuate and reinforce it.
The Book of Mormon was written for our day. And it's hard to describe this curse and NOT think of racism because it is very much like a curse in our modern day. This prejudicial hatred is a destructive force in our society. It's perpetuated by people in power who seek their own personal gains by feeding into those conflicts. And like any curse, it doesn't have to come from God to have the worst kind of power imaginable. All it takes for such a curse to survive is for the people who are impacted by it to never challenge their relationship to it in any meaningful way. Like cancer, it spreads and worsens by going unacknowledged and untreated.

In the Book of Mormon the Nephites, a group of ancient Americans who were descended from Israelites, were "white and exceedingly fair and delightsome". The Lamanites, on the other hand, were described as having "a skin of blackness" and were said to have been cursed with this condition as a punishment for their wickedness and rebellion against God. In his revisions of the King James Bible, and production of the Book of Abraham Smith traced Black skin to the Biblical curses placed on Cain and Ham, and linked the two by positioning Ham's Canaanite cursed posterity as matrilinear descendants of the previously cursed Cain.[2] These discriminatory beliefs around skin color were reinforced by church leaders in the 19th and early 20th centuries, who taught that dark skin was a sign of inferiority and that those with dark skin were not as righteous as those with light skin. This belief was also used to justify LDS social segregation and other skin-color-based policies within the church, such as denying Black women and men access to ordinances in the temple necessary for exaltation in the highest tier of heaven. The temple and priesthood restrictions were removed in 1978, with the top leaders stating that all priesthood ordination would be practiced "without regard for race or color." A 2023 survey of over 1,000 former church members in the Mormon corridor found race issues in the church to be one of the top three reported reasons why they had disaffiliated.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Today is a new week. I am so grateful for the reminder of adjusting my sails. My body is reminding me of the injury that could happen in a storm of culture that no one knows is hazardous. It reminds me of the importance of standards and protecting the Spirit. If the body is not protected, the Spirit is not protected. I'm reminded that if I condition my body to be stronger, the storms won't break me down. The types of sins the people have around me is a wave I have to learn to ride. I'm going to ride that wave with thy help and mercy, that I may not be weak anymore. That in thy name I shall be able and whole. Even in the opposition of every one turning against thy great name. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Answers: The Flow of revelation stops when we silence and censor others when we lack understanding and favor our version of God. The body must be one in order for the constant flow of revelation to synchronize itself as the Body of Christ being united in the word of God. The foundation must be relevant to the laws and the word and cannot be a cheap interpretation of God. Everything must be translated correctly through the Spirit and not our comfortable conscience that we often mistake to be the Spirit. Though we are not perfect translators in comparison to the Spirit, the Lord has made it easier for us to receive a wider gap of revelation from the community filled with People that should be diverse to share a nuanced view of God which helps the body to fill the gaps.
The Pure doctrine helps us to purify our revelations so that we are not distorting God's word and being confused in God's house. It prevents us from being led astray from the angel of light called the devil. We have the conscience which is our limited capacity of God's light, what is accurate in our testimony of Jesus Christ and then we have the unconscious which is our ignorance the parts of us that lack of understanding the comfort of evil, and then we have our Cognitive Distortions--when we mix the light and dark and call that good. This is the area the angel of light uses to keep us in bondage. It is something we all share collectively and often when there are no diverse voices that can discern different types of evil, we end up silencing the different cries of repentance, and the culture ends up with platitudes that are distortions of the word of God when the body is no longer in unity. We end up just like the Pharisees and the Nephites who were stuck in the bondage of war or oppression. Repentance helps us to break those chains and illusions. Cloud by day and fire by night. The cloud is our distortion. The fire is repentance and baptism through the Power of the Holy Ghost. You can't have over without the other. The Spirit that can get you through your clouds of dissonance requires repentance. A new law is born. The Spirit helps us find that flow of revelation so as long as we stop editing and ejecting knowledge we do not fully understand yet. Stop rejecting your blessings especially if they come from the community of seekers.
The Spirit is a great translator and helps us to stay in flow even if we do not understand or agree. You ponder and you do not react. You take something to God and you only speak to add when you are in flow. When you are not in flow because you disagree you take that thought of disturbance and you ponder with the Spirit to seek pure revelation, pure truth, pure doctrine to connect you back to a flow with your brother. The Spirit feeds every seeker as long as you're willing to unlearn; give something old up in order to be made new. God does not want us to cycle through old revelation like the law of Moses. You have to give up what worked in the past to evolve. Platitudes work against that flow of receiving new things to favor what is cultural. God teaches you to be one by honoring those around you their space and their voice. Once you divide yourselves with beliefs from the other half of the body you will not be able to get purified revelation, neither will you be able to translate anything correctly when you are in an echo chamber of platitudes with people that think exactly like you and are able to finish your sentences with a limited flow of light. The adversary uses echo chambers to keep feeding distortions and cause rifts in the body of Christ. As God says, If ye are not one, then ye are not mine.
Oneness is not sameness. Diversity is a necessary function of health for all ecosystems including social systems of people with different backgrounds. Diversity is the first step, but oneness is the action that matters to connect all living things together. Oneness in Christ. What does it mean to be one? The body and the head must be unified. They must be on the same page. The body is vulnerable to the head and the head is vulnerable to the body. If there is no channel of communication between the body and the head that is sufficient to get issues resolved properly the body will attack itself. It will suffer and eat itself into oblivion to try and maintain order in a dysfunctional house. If we don't make pure doctrine clear enough for the body to get it's needs met, the house will inevitably collapse. The weakest will have to leave because they can no longer function in the house of distortions we created. The strongest will stay but they may normalize unnecessary suffering to get by on the status quo of our culture. People will start to get illnesses both spiritual and physical from the hazardous environment that we created. Refusing to make the necessary changes needed because of cognitive distortions that turn the word into platitudes is detrimental to the whole body of Jesus Christ. When the whole head is infected with platitudes--- Wards will inevitably become smaller and smaller. We won't know what hit us until we make the pure doctrine of Christ a clear channel of order in every single branch of the house of God. There has to be a function for each principle in the house of God unified through council's.
1. Faith in Jesus Christ
2. Repentance
3. Baptism
4 Keep the Commandments
5.Endure to the End
The Pure Doctrine should lead us to a higher law as one body which will influence a new culture. We should not be led to a platitude or an old law that is outdated from cultural practices that got us from point A to point B. We don't want to be stuck at point B. We want to move from B to C or we'll walk around the wilderness in circles for generations without even knowing how and why we had so many fallouts. The key is to acknowledge problems people bring to the table. We can be very dismissive when we are operating solely from our own worldview and culture when we ignore the sufferings others bring. If it's a problem outside of your conscience, it's not for your brain to solve. It's for the Lord to give you understanding. He requires you give something up in order to gain something better. Suffocating anyone's voice is like prohibiting them to grow in the vineyard that isn't mindful of different seeds that need a specific care that requires change in the system, so that we don't over burden the one. Everyone loves for weak people to work harder than for the body to change to make room for the one. We have to get ourselves to the point where we are all in agreeance to the Word and new chapter. You don't want a fallout. We're not going to receive new revelation if you're not looking outside your conscience and realize not all people are the same. Diversity is not sameness. Stop catering to a culture for people that look like you. You can't love anyone else, if you want them to be a carbon copy of yourself. When people advocate for change, they are really advocating for their survival, their health, their well being. Being One comes from acknowledging differences and catering to something new. A new principle in the vineyard. This fruit cannot survive in a condition only made for apples and apple wannabes. There's a problem with churches that cater to themselves. You cannot love your brother as yourselves when you deny them their experience.

Y'all probably aren't ready for my thoughts about Animism & Mormonism. But here we go
Mormonism is inherently Animistic. The Book of Moses said all things have a Spirit, and claimed the Earth was alive in a sense (a teaching even alluded to in the Book of Mormon, claiming the Calamities in 3 Nephi 8 are because the Earth was mad at Christ's Death, and the Earth hides the treasures & weapons of the Nephites & Lamanites)
Biblical History tells us the Bible includes many elements we would consider "pagan" (and Animism is one of those things). And in the Sermon in the Grove, Joseph encouraged us to look back to the beginning, which in this case, is the Religious Culture at the time the Bible was written
And it would be a shame to neglect the Folk Magic practiced by Joseph Smith & other Early Mormons. This magic, as outlined in the Magus by Francis Barrett, is strongly animistic. It has Elemental Spirits, Guardian Spirits over places/objects, Spirits of the Planet & Stars, that Numbers have their own Agency, and in objects that can be imbued with power. This would be impossible according to Book of Mormon Theology (as without Animation, objects can only be acted upon, and cannot act)
So yes, I am a Mormon who believes in Animism

CFM - 3 Nephi 14 - 15: Warnings of False Prophets, Authentic Living Faith, and Fulfillment of the Law of Moses
Our study emphasizes the importance of recognizing and responding to false prophets, drawing on the warning from 3 Nephi 14:15-20. False prophets, often disguised as benevolent figures, threaten genuine belief by leading individuals astray.
Our study emphasizes the importance of recognizing and responding to false prophets, drawing on the teachings found in 3 Nephi 14-15 of the Book of Mormon. In this passage, Jesus Christ warns the Nephites about the dangers of following those who present themselves as spiritual leaders but do not teach His true doctrines. The warnings against false prophets are not merely historical concerns; they…

It's a Sunday School Week. It's Ether 12-15. It's the First Day of Advent. So yeah, my lesson went pretty well today
I'm began with an Overview of the Book of Ether. Not only is it helpful to help make sure they get the main themes of the Book & are caught up on the Lore, it'll also give me a chance to cover some stuff we missed (stop dancing to get people killed guys...)
After that, I'm going to discuss the Book of Ether as a Historical Epic. Epics were an Oral Tradition, which used specific conventions to tell stories, Historical or Mythical. The point of this is to get them to look deeper at the connections with other stories in the scriptures
Then, we dove into the story in these chapters. The story here is the Reign of Coriantumr, which was so disastrous the Jaredites didn't exist after it (which is saying something, as cultures are usually resilient). We discussed how Ether's Message was a message that would've saved the Jaredites if they'd listened
Then, we're discussing the Doctrines preached. Ether teaches about the New Jerusalem (which I believe is discussing a Zion Society we have an obligation to help build up, that is being coloured through Nephite/American Lenses, given the fact the Jaredites didn't even know about Old Jerusalem). And finally, Moroni's Commentaries on Faith & Hope in the darkest period of the Jaredite Story tie directly into Advent. The First Two weeks are Faith & Hope, and while Christ wasn't born in Winter, he is the Light of the World, and represents the Growing of Light. We are asked to let our lights shine forth, so while Sunday School doesn't usually have homework, I'm going to print out the "Light the World" checklist, and have them report when we meet again
So yeah, when I have time to plan, I can actually come up with a Decent Lesson. Ironically, it's been doing Education Homework that has hindered me...

A guy and his family leave Jerusalem with their neighbor's family right before the Babylonian occupation of Daniel and the Lions Den infamy begins. They steal a manservant and a copy of the ancient texts and escape across the sea to the new world. The kids have a falling out and their descendants start killing each other, like, a lot.
The descendants who kept the family Bible meet another group of people descended from Jerusalem and decide to join up into one civilization. They find the even more ancient texts of a group who escaped from the tower of Babel to the New World, but all those people are gone. Somebody found the last survivor a while back, but he was literally the only one left at that point and he's been dead a while by the time they know about the Babel group's texts.
A bunch of teenage delinquents find Jesus and decide to go visit their distant cousins and see if telling them about Jesus will get them to stop killing each other. Great success.
The civilization of the record keepers becomes corrupt and people start threatening to kill churchgoers, until the supernova that indicates Jesus being born appears and everyone realizes they were right actually.
Things get better for a while, and then worse. Somebody kills the president and gets ratted out by the prophet to a whole group of bystanders. Everyone thinks the world is about to end, then the apocalypse happens to indicate that Jesus has been killed. The survivors are gathered and Jesus appears in resurrected form and teaches them the beatitudes. Everyone lives in peace for 400 years.
400 years after Jesus left, things start going wrong again. People start warring with one another and anyone who still believes in Jesus is murdered. The people we thought were the good guys start ritually raping and cannibalizing their enemies. The one guy and his son who still believe in Jesus get conscripted as leaders of their people's armies, and although they refuse to fight for a while, they end up doing so anyway because everyone they know is going to be killed otherwise.
The second to last guy gives the records to his son before he's killed, who finishes his father's record and then writes a few short chapters in between being on the run for his life. He is the only remaining member of his civilization that he knows of.
When he takes over for his father he says:
"Behold I, Moroni, do finish the record of my father, Mormon. Behold, I have but few things to write, which things I have been commanded by my father. And now it came to pass that after the great and tremendous battle at Cumorah, behold, the Nephites who had escaped into the country southward were hunted by the Lamanites, until they were all destroyed. And my father also was killed by them, and I even remain alone to write the sad tale of the destruction of my people. But behold, they are gone, and I fulfil the commandment of my father. And whether they will slay me, I know not. Therefore I will write and hide up the records in the earth; and whither I go it mattereth not."
He begins his own section of the record thus:
"Now I, Moroni, after having made an end of abridging the account of the people of Jared, I had supposed not to have written more, but I have not as yet perished; and I make not myself known to the Lamanites lest they should destroy me. For behold, their wars are exceedingly fierce among themselves; and because of their hatred they put to death every Nephite that will not deny the Christ. And I, Moroni, will not deny the Christ; wherefore, I wander whithersoever I can for the safety of mine own life. Wherefore, I write a few more things, contrary to that which I had supposed; for I had supposed not to have written any more; but I write a few more things, that perhaps they may be of worth unto my brethren, the Lamanites, in some future day, according to the will of the Lord."
He spends the rest of the record writing down the things he finds most important, and copying letters his father sent him before he was killed.
He only writes one section of his own words, wherein he begs the people he's hiding the record from-- the people who are hunting him down to kill him-- to read the words he has written when they find it and know that God is merciful.
He closes thus:
"And again, if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot. And now I bid unto all, farewell. I soon go to rest in the paradise of God, until my spirit and body shall again reunite, and I am brought forth triumphant through the air, to meet you before the pleasing bar of the great Jehovah, the Eternal Judge of both quick and dead. Amen."
1400 years later a twenty-year-old kid claims to dig the record up out of a hillside after the guy who wrote those words more than a thousand years before came to him and showed him where to find them. He translates it in 3 months and founds a religion hated by atheists and Christians alike before being murdered with his brother at the age of 44.
At some point it almost doesn't matter if you care to view it religiously or not, it makes a pretty neat story either way 🙃

THE BOOK OF MORONI. "A Few More Things."
Tumblr media
The final book in the Book of Mormon is called Moroni. In the vernacular, it means "moronic" because the people that ran with the Book of Mormon after the Civil War in the 19th century like the Mormons of today were total retards.
The word Moroni actually means:
Mor= myrrh
On= pillar of
I= the Island of Israel
= the House of Israel is the Pillar of Freedom.
The fukchuks all think they are reading "reformed Egyptian" which is just the English language with some pigdin in it. The strange words in the Book of Mormon along with its archicture are 100% derived from Hebrew, the kind real Jews use.
The first chapter of the final book states the final argument, "The House of Israel does not deny Christ." :
CHAPTER 1, 1-4.
Moroni writes for the benefit of the Lamanites—The Nephites who will not deny Christ are put to death. About A.D. 401–21, = 358, "perfection."
1 Now I, Moroni, after having made an end of abridging the account of the people of Jared, I had supposed not to have written more, but I have not as yet perished; and I make not myself known to the Lamanites lest they should destroy me.
2 For behold, their wars are exceedingly fierce among themselves; and because of their hatred they put to death every Nephite that will not deny the Christ.
3 And I, Moroni, will not deny the Christ; wherefore, I wander whithersoever I can for the safety of mine own life.
4 Wherefore, I write a few more things, contrary to that which I had supposed; for I had supposed not to have written any more; but I write a few more things, that perhaps they may be of worth unto my brethren, the Lamanites, in some future day, according to the will of the Lord.
The big problem all religions have with Christianity is its believers state that murder is necessary for redemption. This is a violation of the Ten Commandments and it makes no sense. The flogging and crucifixion of the Son of God were used to illustrate man cannot be taught how to be the image of God by God, He has to teach himself. And, this he will not do. To murder and rape he turns at every opportunity no matter what God says. He always finds a way and a reason.
If we agree with the First and Sixth Commandments, "I am your God, the Lord, do not kill", and wonder why the Disciples allowed the murder of Christ, then the religion of Christianity makes more sense. They did this because they were afraid of society. Nothing God can do can make us less afraid of society. Just as the Gospels say, only taking a stand will change society.
The Values in Gematria are:
v. 1: So long as man is alive he will need to struggle against people that are cruel. Of this there is no doubt. the Number is 11456, יא‎דהו‎, yabhu, "God looked into the emptiness."
v. 2: The wars are exceedingly fierce. The Number is 9236, טבגו‎, tabago,"you will be happy."
v. 3: Wherefore, I wander whithersoever I can for the safety of mine own life. The Number is 8596, חהטו‎, hatto, "sign on the note and slow down."
v. 4: But I write some more that it may be of use to the future. The Number is 16022, י״ואֶפֶסבב, One Thousand M, "who will change the millennium?"

Note
I gotta nominate Gideon. Almost kills King Noah, keeps Limhi’s people safe while they were being held hostage by the Lamanites all those years, then was the one to suggest the plan that freed the entire people.
And when they’re finally free he just. Retires. So he can teach Sunday School for the rest of his life.
(Until he gets beaten to death by Nehor for telling him to shut up and stop spreading false doctrine. But at least they named a city after him. And a valley, I’m pretty sure.)
gideon the nephite should win this future contest so tumblr can atone for gideon the ninth not winning the sexywoman contest

she made the pale/predominantly white species of magical creatures seem better than the NATIVE AMERICAN EXCLUSIVE magical ones, can we let that sink in please?
Alice said 'mutt' like a slur, Rosalie made jacob eat out of a dog-bowl, JASPER IS LITERALLY A CONFEDERATE SOLDIER
Smeyer being mormon makes sense since they believe having dark skin is a sign of inferiority - 'In the Book of Mormon the Nephites, a group of ancient Americans who were descended from Israelites, were "white and exceedingly fair and delightsome". The Lamanites, on the other hand, were described as having "a skin of blackness" and were said to have been cursed with this condition as a punishment for their wickedness and rebellion against God.' (Mormon teachings on skin color - Wikipedia)
I really hate smeyer for making the wolves temperamental. idk but how she described some scenes are similar to having an abusive boyfriend; Bella knowing that she has to be careful with what she says because it can make Jacob angry, and explode, and hurt her 🤨
she really made the wolves dirty by creating all of these tragic stories for the characters and creating bad traits for them just to make the vamps look better…🤨
