Talus Trove [Vol 5.]
Probably the last of these for a bit, but I think these might be the best yet. These were really fun concepts to do, really taking it into wild and different places.

Death Run - Going Solo 3 (03)
I'm moving into the ancient city. I'm packing up my villagers and setting up a few useful farms including veggies and an iron farm.
On top of that I need to expand my farms to include a melon and pumpkin farm. That means I need to make trip into the nether to get quartz and a few other fun things…. It doesn't go well.

I am so incredibly proud of this, this is legit my best work ever done and I am so happy I gotr a chanse to be part of this zine!
I will ramble a bit about organization, because I am very passionate about it!
I like how in the begging all the themes were devided by three categories each having more popular and less popular. that was an important step for the rest of the topic asigment!
We had to make up the idea for each bracket, even if in the end we end up being drawing only for the one - so thee in total. i knew taht i couldn't submit ideas for Hermitcraft s10 and 9 and 8 and be done - that's a very popular series, i had to choose less popular ones. Which cause d me to watch more of Pearl, which is cool!!!
So as a result I found moments I really liked in less popular series and watched more pearl! And had in general more interesting brain storm!
And as a result the zine itself looks diverse which is cool!
I also really like the timelines. It was just the right amout of time for me to manage zine and my work so that is +1 into mod's karma uwu
ALSO I FOUND FRIENDS!!!!!! MY SILLY GOOBERS!!!!

was it even statistically feasible to fight the wither in the 1.4 updates. like back when it was added. asking because I'm in a situation. why are wither skeletons so stupidly rare. there is no possible way that a person could get 3 of an item with a 2.5% drop rate when wither skeletons barely spawned in the first place in this set of versions. this is like trying to get a pokemon with a 1% chance of spawning and a 1% chance of being female holding an item that it has a 1% chance of holding
#yeah I'm playing the version that supposedly fixes their ability to spawn in old fortresses#I have found some but only like 6 total. I've been flattening the fortress for days now trying to get things to spawn#nether spawning is clearly still pretty broken. it seems everything can spawn in fully lit areas except wither skeletons#random stuff

i am placing blocks and shit
#joe moment#minecraft#OK small update#me and klai got to the end and killed the ender dragon over a week ago#so yippee. although the dragon ate my old armour early battle </3 lucky Ive been saving a bunch of netherite#and I did end up finding a nether fortress. very tempted to summon a wither...#grinding achievements has been fun#I've gathered my materials for a new home#though I currently have no idea where to build it.#I managed to find an end city#create an exp farm#and just finished making a creeper farm today#as u can see#a lot of chaos has been going on in my time playing solo#since im the only one who goes on the server quite often#hopefully I can find an ocean monument... or a trial chamber#im doing everything but build my house atm LOL#ALSO im not floating in this pic. I think the lantern put some invisible force under me /j

found three ancient cities next to eachother, i think i won the lottery
#what are the odds man 😭 two of them are RIGHT next to eachother. i thought they were one thing till i saw the other frame#what is with this seed... bastion and fortress right next to eachother just a couple chunks from spawn#stronghold right next to my house. ark's home had a trial spawner in it#that GIGANTIC lush cave she's living in was already crazy but we keep finding weirder and weirder things i love it <3#maybe this is just kinda normal now but idk it feels cool#i love exploring this game again it's been a while. it feels brand new#anyways WHY DIDNT ANYONE EVER TELL ME THAT USING AN ELYTRA IN THE NETHER IS SO MUCH FUN#I WAS ALWAYS WORRIED ABOUT BASHING MY SKULL INTO THE WALLS BUT IT'S NOT EVEN THAT HARD!! despite minecraft being like one of my most played games of all time i'd never actually done the ender dragon fight and beat the game until TONIGHT!! where i beat it on hardcore >:)
#not that hard really but still a nice little achievement#fourth try. two tries ended to nether fortresses and one try ended to a normal skeleton in a field#and then i got to sit around for hours chatting with my friends with huge brains about video games as a reward

"I'm mining for iron, collecting more iron is my goal!" I lie, knowing that the truth is clear: I chose stone bricks for this really tall build without considering just how much cobblestone that requires by default
#minecraft#building a stone brick tower to get in and out of the nether fortress in a safer manner compared to other methods#each floor is 3 blocks tall not including the roof of the floor#so an 8x8x3 interior on each floor#the tower's only 3 floors tall and I'm almost out of stone bricks entirely#and I'm nowhere near the level of the nether fortress#while also being close enough that blazes are able to float down and shoot at me if they want to#(and boy do they want to at that)#I mean at least wither skeletons aren't falling into the tower mid-construction but the situation could still be better
