I really enjoy Redacted's content a lot! I wish though that he was better as weaving in lore and worldbuilding through actual plot development (for the series that lean that way ofc). I've seen people mention that he wants (or wanted?) to be a published author and writers are often recommended to avoid infodumps where everything comes to a halt to spend pages and pages on magic systems and origins and little else. I feel like Redacted sometimes does the audio RP version of this and I think there's a better way.

I do think there are instances where it makes sense (more leniency when his channel first started in 2020 makes sense ig and when he first introduced Imperium definitely with how little time he had for it). And there are examples where so far I think he's weaved in info without stopping every single thing for 20 minutes like with Hush's introduction so far. But then there are examples like Regulus's creationist lore hidden in a bedtime story, Vega's recent video about his backstory, and a certain amount of Project Meridian and the Sovereign State tbh where I kinda wonder if some info given could have come to the listener in a better way than 22 minutes of essentially lessons. Again, love Redacted's work a lot! This is a smaller critique.

Checked out the Coal Mining Heritage Trail today. It was in the mid 40s, but I overheat like a bitch regardless of weather and had to take my hoodie off after 20 minutes.

There's not much to see on that trail, and noise from the highway is loud, but it's nice enough as a place just stretch your legs and get some fresh air.

Bestie I've got a whooooleee post I'm gonna be writing on this but!!!! It was actually a 3 hour drive for me for rep tour bc I lived in Vancouver, WA aka across the river from Portland, so basically Portland! I totally get you, I'm sad that she doesn't come to the Moda center anymore and now Ed doesn't either😭 They got too big. Which I'm beyond proud of! But yeah their shows became a lot less accessible. Maybe it's time to rally to get Oregon cities to build a dang stadium already. But yeah I mean this is what I was gonna post about but like part of the reason demand is so high (not to take ANY if the blame from Ticketmaster it's all 100% them) is because of situations like this where one show, Seattle, is the closest for 3-4 states and B.C. so that's a LOT of people gunning for one show. I'm used to having to do long drives so I've totally prepared for possibly having to drive to a California or other show and sleep in the car idk. I didn't get tix, yet- but yeah gosh I feel like both that states should invest more in stadiums obvs it draws tourist revenue (tho maybe Oregon is an oddity in that college football is so big that it brings in enough ppl for that to Corvallis and Eugene maybe that is partially why? Idk also maybe Portland has a bad rep now (hah) and it doesn't have any good enough teams for a stadium but still. They should put in a stadium I'm manifesting) but also stars choosing to bypass smaller arenas for only stadiums I wonder if it actually works out. I'm gonna post on that too.

But yeah I'm right there with you! If I manage to get tickets anywhere it's gonna require travel :/ And yeah that makes the cost of the tickets even higher especially with gas prices aafarsffsgsfsstgs

But anyways I love the PNW, Oregon is awesome so!!!!

I wish there wasn't so many listeners that hit their partners when they are annoyed or teasing. Not because I think it's toxic or something (they clearly aren't actually pissed off and it doesn't seem to upset their partner), but it makes the listeners feel just a little less distinct when these are characters that are supposed to have at least a bit different personalities and behaviors from one another even if someone self-inserts and over half of them have the exact same reaction to a teasing comment every time lol.

Live Nation is only involved because they own TicketMaster. AEG is the touring management company Taylor uses.

Right I'm just wondering because they are connected with/do the booking for venues like stadiums and I'm wondering if they do some gatekeeping... it sounds like while artists like Tay have these companies they use for tour management that they're all still beholden to an extent to TM/LN because of TM basically having exclusive rights to the ticketing industry and LN with the venues etc. And all of this is why we have anti trust laws it's not right
