U.S. Coronavirus Numbers

More than 11,695,500 people in the United States have been infected with the coronavirus and at least 251,100 have died.

The number of people who have died from Coronavirus in the U.S. is equivalent to 84 times the number of U.S. citizens who died in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. It is 56 times the number of U.S. soldiers who died in the war against Iraq. It is 7 times the number of U.S. citizens who died from the flu last year.

On Nov. 18: 1,923 deaths (+52% 14-day change), 172,391 infections (+77% 14-day change)

The rates of infection and death remain disproportionately high in the Native American communities across the country. Just last weekend, 600 Native people died on the Navajo reservation.

Sen. Chuck Grassley from Iowa has contracted coronavirus. The nation mourns :-(

Global Coronavirus Numbers

The coronavirus pandemic has sickened more than 56,661,800 people, according to official counts. As of Thursday afternoon, at least 1,355,100 people have died.

On Nov. 18: 11,133 deaths (+13% 14-day change), 598,877 infections (+25% 14-day change)

Election 2020

President-Elect Biden claims that Trump’s refusal to concede the election is preventing him from accessing critical data about the U.S. outbreak and that this could slow the vaccine distribution process.

Okay, this is where I think she’s wrong again.

1) "Manly men” haven’t gone anywhere...

2) Is she basically arguing that a couple of men wearing dresses means every man is no longer “manly?” This makes no sense.

3) In a society, “manly men” can coexist with “feminized” men. There is enough room for everyone. And there will always be men who want to take up the “manly” MANtle. And there will be queer/trans masc people who will want to do the same, though I’m sure Candace would hate that.

#KnockTheBook : Anne Frank

“The nice Anne is never present in company, hasn’t appeared one single time so far, but always predominates when we’re alone. I know exactly how I’d like to be, but, I’m only like that for myself. And perhaps that’s why, I’m sure it’s the reason why I say I’ve got a happy nature within and why other people think I’ve got a happy nature without. I am guided by the pure Anne within, but outside I’m nothing but a frolicsome little goat who’s broken loose”

I knew this book exist since I was in elementary school it was on the 6th grade I guess. I saw this book in one of the notability book store (re: Books and Beyond) in kinda so-so Bandung Mall (re again: Istana Plaza). I read the behind book preview and my curious ass was really intrigued, that time I didn’t know wtf is holocaust and my English skill was so poor, I mean like still but now its getting better right????? My 11 years old wallet was penniless, so I didn’t buy the book, that’s ok though because book wasn’t the main source of my happiness and I don’t really read much books that age. Many years later, there was BBW Bandung in 2019, and I’m so excited since I started to read quite a lot of books after I’m in college and just like that, I found a gem I’ve been wanting for since I was starting my puberty and now I’m at the edge of my puberty era (STILL COULDN’T MOVE ON FROM MY PUBERTY DAYS, PLEASE CHECK THE PREVIOUS POST OF MINE OR I’LL KILL U! Never mind it was a trash anyway). I’m gonna review this book in a way this book relating my life, because I SWEAR TO GOD Anne Frank is me in 1942 indeed.

Okay let’s cut the shit off of the personal history attached to this book, cause no one cares, no one probably read this master of shit.

The title of the book is “Diary of A Young Girl: Anne Frank” written clearly in the book’s grayish cover and it has a picture of queen Anne herself writing on her diary I suppose?? So it basically Anne frank writing her story and someone took a picture of her posing like she was writing the story and the picture became the cover of her story that she wrote when someone was taking that picture, got it?. The book is published by Wilco Publishing Book in 2013 in Mumbai, India. The book’s price is written on its cover, it was 19.95 in US Dollar and converted to Rupiah approximately worth RP 326.569, please note that I convert this price when USD 1 is worth RP 16.300 (fuck you corona). But don’t worry, if you are going to buy one in BBW the price is 50% cheaper than the original one, omg someone take me to BBW RIGHT.NOW!.

For those who dumb in history but insist to read this history-biography kind of book (WHICH IS STRANGELY CONTRADICTION, like dude u suppose to have good grades in history class if u like this kinda book, but whatevs I don’t judge), chillax there’s gonna be a short sum about what’s happened in WW II and the origin short story of Hitler gon’ mad with his bonkers political party. Also, there is a little summary about Anne’s previous life before she starts writing her diary in that crazy era she’s living. This book is literally her diary, I said diary, it means u could see her recounting her daily activities in a writing book (Except the fact that she named her diary with Kitty and consider it as her friend).

In this book, you are going to meet plenty bold characters. Here I describe few of ‘em that quite memorable for me. First is Queen Anne herself duh! She’s fucking THAT BRIGHT, I mean she was 13 when she wrote the story of her life, loves to read books, emotionally instable just like a mad teenage typical but she really has very unique perspective of how she depict the whole condition when she was in hiding. Second is her fucking family duh!(2), her mummy is weirdly kind of remind me to my mom FOR REAL, both of them were as problematic as her youngest daughter, sensitive, and caring as regular moms out there. Daddy is totally a sweetheart and kind of hard-working just like most of the Jews I guess?? And Margot which is Anne’s older sister, you know that golden child in the family who always be the spotlight in your big family gathering? Yes she is one of the kinds. Not only Anne and her family that is pretty intriguing, but there is also one little family which also joined Anne’s family in hiding, that is Mr. Van Daan Family and all of their dramas *applauding* that is caused by Mrs. Van Daan’s deportment (She’s quiet funny for me though) . There is still a lot amount of characters that is also involved in this book, but you can read the book by yourself its good honey trust me its good and worth it.

I think for the first time I managed to look serious in previous paragraph right?

What’s very interesting to me is how Anne and her mom fighting could be very relatable to all of us. The peak of these fighting dramas was on Friday, April 2nd 1943, when Anne refuses to have her mum took prayers with her, I would say that was truly heart breaking moment. You know the time when you had a huge fight with your mom and you feel so miserable because you disgust the situation where no one was there for you and all you can do is to blame yourself because you love your mom and realized that she got nothing wrong, and what you did is self-loathing all days long, as her mom said,

“I don’t want to be cross, love cannot be forced”

I’m on my fucking tears for reading that sentence, perhaps people that has lots of problem with their life might be understand exactly how it feels, for longing to just vanish from the world because die in all likelihood would still make people around to be distressed because of you? (OMG Ana, u really need stop exposing yourself!). However, after all the fights with her mum, Anne figured out that it’s only the matter of unpleasantness and misery rebounding all the time. She learned that it still much better for hard words on paper than to be carried along with her mum’s heart (it’s a pro tip y’all!).

“Leave me in peace, let me sleep one night at least without my pillow being wet with tears, my eyes burning and my head throbbing. Let me get away from it all, preferably away from the world!”

Anne was hiding for 761 days, of course many things happened and her relationship with Peter (the only son of the Van Daan’s family) is one of the cutest story I liked. Peter was 3 years older than Anne, in my vision he’s the type of nonchalant chap, yet very sweet inside. Started with Ana’s frustration to be alone, ended with having another person other than her family to be talked to. Peter and Anne, after they were close to each other (because they weren’t really get along together at first), they spent most of their times in the attic which is Peter’s basecamp in the annex, talking about life as a teenager and their complicated family before the life in the annex. It kinda remind me of how surviving life becoming the point of how we see each other’s color, Anne had become comfortable to talk with Peter about all her difficulty and so otherwise. Anyway, their fucking love story gonna prompt you to the nostalgia of young love in mid school.

“Already this morning I noticed that peter kept looking at me all the time, not in ordinary way I don’t know how, I just can’t explain……. I made a special effort not to look at him too much, because whenever I did, he kept on looking too and it gave me a lovely feeling inside...”

It’s not over yet, there’s going to be a lot of scenes that giving you goosebumps which cause by a burglar, yes not a ghost, but a fucking burglar, and other shits that would give you a nerve because Anne’s diary also described how the current war situations going (IT WAS SO INTENSE F U HITLER ROTS IN HELL U DUMBASS). The war was not only happened outside the annex but also inside, the war over making noises when everyone’s sleeping and the use of a little table in afternoon between Anne and Mr. Dussel, I perceived it quite hilarious!

. That’s probably a glance of how this book is so intriguing for me. The perspective of Anne Frank of everything sometimes could be so naïve but also relating to my life as well, even until today. Especially during this corona outbreak which has becoming the pandemic, I’ve stay at my home only for 39 days but already feeling sick even for an introvert and antisocial like me could be that JADED, so right now y’all bitch imagine being Anne Frank have to stayed in a hiding for fucking more than 2 years with exactly the same annoying people every fucking day. Nevertheless, if you guys interested to read this book you can buy it in BBW which available in Tokopedia on 27th April until 3rd May this year, so please don’t miss the chance! (to be noted that im not having any relation to BBW, im just so happy that this bazaar coming up into my life). And also you can check the official website of Anne Frank House in www.annefrank.org, there’s a lot of information you could uncover about Anne and other people in furthermore and the visual of the hiding they have been living (IT’S SO MUCH COOL BRUUH).

I think that’s it, I really had no idea how to review a book, this shit just basically me mumbling my opinion about the books I have read. I hope my writing is getting better than the previous post (even I thought this trash was a degrading quality of mine). And a bit information, I finished and posted this writing in the time of corona virus, it was so hard to everyone enduring all the negative impact from this pandemic on our life, so please if you’re lucky enough to still be able enjoy all the fortunes, please help those who badly impacted of this pandemic and I. BEG. YOU. TO. STAY. AT. YOUR. FUCKING. OWN. HOME. If you’re still strolling around for unimportant purpose and not even using a mask, im literally gonna kill you bitch!

On Thursday, ABC 7's Kevin Lewis reported that police in Montgomery County, Maryland have arrested an illegal immigrant on molestation charges. This has now occurred again, and again, and again, and again, and again. That's right, this is now the sixth individual illegally in the country accused of sexual offenses in one Maryland county in the past month alone. And here's the kicker -- Montgomery Count Executive Marc Ehlrich insists he doesn't have a problem and that his jurisdiction isn't a sanctuary county.

Lewis reports that Nestor Lopez-Guzman was arrested by Montgomery County police on August 18th after police were notified that the 21-year-old Salvadoran national sexually abused 12-year-old girl and her brother over a six month period. The unidentified victim told police that on more than one occasion, Lopez-Guzman would touch her legs and try to move his hand up towards her vagina.

She stated that she doesn't believe he ever actually did touch her genitals, because she would kick him and move away before he ever could. But, she stated that these approaches sexual in nature. The accused pervert would say to the minor "how delicious" while making the advances. On one occasion, while Lopez-Guzman held the victim's nine-month-old sister, the suspect is alleged to have forcibly put his hand down the minor's shirt and touching her breasts.

Lewis also reports that "Lopez-Guzman confessed to touching the elementary school-age boy's genitals, claiming it was a 'cultural joke' that's 'common in El Salvador.'"

Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed that Lopez-Guzman is in the country illegally. ICE lodged a detainer on him two days after he was arrested, took him in custody, and released him after he posted an immigration bond.

In mid-August, I reported on the two illegal immigrants accused of repeatedly raping an 11-year-old girl. In July, I reported on the illegal immigrant who targeted more than 25 women addicted to drugs. The foreign national would then offer narcotics in exchange for sex for himself and his associates. Last week, an illegal immigrant accused of first-degree rape and attempted second-degree murder was arrested. Just two days ago, I reported that an illegal alien was arrested for allegedly crawling into a 16-year-old girl's bed and raping her at knifepoint. All of these crimes occurred in Montgomery County.

But, what does Montgomery County Exeutive Erlich have to say on the issue? Well, he told a frustrated Vince Coglianese of WMAL radio in DC on Wednesday, "Look, I understand that tension. But, I mean, are you suggesting we should -- I mean, do you support just deporting all illegal immigrants?"

Pathetic.

But is Montgomery County a sanctuary city? Well, technically not, but it may as well be considered one:

While Montgomery County does not officially recognize itself a sanctuary county, its protocol makes it a de facto sanctuary county. This means they do not comply with ICE in most situations.

"Our law enforcement and other support agencies will continue to follow local laws, rules and regulations. As a matter of policy, we do not inquire about anyone's immigration status to support immigration enforcement, nor do we conduct immigration raids or investigations," County Executive Marc Elrich said in a July 2019 government resource page titled, "Montgomery County Supports Immigrants." "We also encourage residents to seek help from organizations that provide legal assistance and advice, so individuals will know their rights if they are stopped or detained by ICE," County Council President Nancy Navarro added.

The Democrat Party is #CLUELESS.

The Democrats probably weren’t going to beat Trump anyways, or the GOP, no matter what they did, or said in either November 2018, or 2020. The economy is just too good. But they certainly had a chance, if they didn’t go completely off the rails.

But then they chose illegal immigration as their headline issue. Really? And as their new star (DNC Chair Tom Perez calls her “the future of the party”) Dems just elected Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a proud Socialist. She was a bartender last year, now call her “Congresswoman.” She believes in open borders, abolishing ICE, sanctuary cities, and get this one- “Illegal aliens deserve the right of passage to freely enter the USA.” Her words. I’m not joking.

No one could be that dumb and clueless, could they? Yup. See “DEMOCRAT” in the dictionary.

I’ll get to all that. But first the good news coming in waves for President Trump.

*The Trump economy added another 213,000 jobs in June. The Labor Dept also revised April and May’s jobs figures upward by 37,000 jobs.

*Even better news- 601,000 Americans re-entered the workforce in June. The economy is so good, wages are rising so fast, everyone on the sidelines wants back in the game.

*A record 155,576,000 Americans were employed in June, the most in history.

*Pay growth is up every month this year, with blue-collar wages growing the fastest.

*Because of Trump’s “Hire American” policy, even disabled Americans are seeing record job growth.

*The U.S. trade deficit just plunged the most in 10 years! And US exports rose to an all-time record. Trump is winning the “trade wars” for American workers and companies.

*As wages and savings rose, Americans spent less on utilities. Why? Over 100 electric, gas and water utilities have saved $3 billion with the Trump tax cuts.

*Because of the Trump tax cuts over $300 billion was repatriated to the US in just the first quarter- the most money in history ever brought back to the USA.

How bad can it get for those poor, poor, clueless, delusional Democrats?

In their infinite wisdom (because we all know how intellectual they are- or at least that’s what they keep reminding us), Democrats have chosen illegal immigration as their main issue for the upcoming election. And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as their poster gal.

Did I mention that Ocasio-Cortez is a proud Socialist?

Did I mention in addition to open borders and abolishing ICE, she believes in free college for all, free Medicare for all, universal income (everyone gets a salary from government for not working) and get this, she thinks everyone who wants a government job should be provided one. I’m sure she’d give a plum government job (plus lifetime pension) to every MS-13 gangbanger who asks nicely!

That’s your platform? Really? You’re not kidding? Democrats must believe in assisted suicide.

If I wrote this storyline in a movie script, not one liberal Hollywood movie mogul would buy it. They’d say it’s too far-fetched. They’d say no one could be this blind, deaf, dumb or clueless. Yet the Democrats are actually doing this in real life. It’s stranger than fiction.

Trump was elected to secure the border, build the wall, strengthen ICE, deport illegal criminals, end Sanctuary cities and by doing all of this, create millions of high-wage jobs for Americans. He’s doing it all. And it’s all working. And out of all the issues, Democrats want to take it to Trump on this issue.

Barbara Lawlor, Nederland. The music tents were filled to the brim, spilling people out into the drinking areas. Sidewalk to sidewalk pedestrians rippled up and down First Street. Pools of people gathered around the street performers, the poets, the turkey tossers and the frozen t-shirt unravelers.

On Saturday, Nederland learned the true definition of a crowd. It is estimated at least 20,000 people showed up for the Frozen Dead Guy Festival. A team of 25 Colorado Mounted Rangers roamed through the masses, a physical presence, and allowed the Nedestrians to cross the highway safely.

Frozen Dead Guy Days, 2017, once again exceeded itself, bringing in fun-loving folks from all over the country who invite their families, neighbors and their families and neighbors to join frozen frivolity.

After 16 years of celebrating its cryogenically frozen grandfather who lives in a Tuff Shed, the event has not dwindled, but has morphed into a huge party, now family friendly and attracting more bands, more vendors and more activities to enjoy than ever before.

Bredo Morstol, a Norwegian native, believed in the healing power of ice water and his grandson Trygve carried it a step further to include flash freezing a person who died with the intent of bringing that person back to life in the future, when there was a cure for what had ailed him. Bredo’s daughter, Aud, and grandson, Trygve, honored the old Norwegian’s beliefs by having him cryogenically frozen in California.

When Aud and Trygve moved to Colorado to build a bomb, hurricane, fire and flood-proof home outside of Nederland, they brought Grandpa Bredo with them and settled his dry-iced remains in a shed on the property.

When Trygve was deported for several different reasons and Aud was removed from the property because she did not have a certificate of occupancy to live in the house, she panicked and spilled the beans about her father’s body being on the property.

A big ruckus erupted, an international news story, and ultimately Bredo was allowed to stay but his family wasn’t. Aud went back to Norway. She and Trygve still own the property and her dad now resides in a Tuff Shed, tucked in with dry ice.

In 2000, the Nederland Chamber of Commerce, led by Theresa Warren, and a melting March economy, decided to capitalize on Grandpa’s situation and begin a festival. The total wackiness of the whole idea caught on like wildfire and Nederland was put on the map of strange and wonderful things that are cause for celebration.

FDGD happens mid-March. It is a weekend that downtown businesses prepare for and shopping center businesses put up No Event parking signs so locals can buy groceries, do their laundry and go to their Yoga classes. Most residents participate in the party from a distance.

On Friday, the Blue Ball Grandpa and Ice Queen Look-Alike Contest encourages theme costumes which range from zombie faces to icicle beards. A team of judges including: Scott Dewald: Owner of Greener Mountain Grow Shop; Celeste Peabody-Smith: GM of Rocky Mountain Oyster Bar; Michel Tapia: Marketing Manger, Eldora Mountain Resort; Corey Sutton: Owner of Corey Sutton Inc.,stylist; and Heather Gray: RE/MAX Realtor, listened to the look-alike contestants answer questions that almost demanded lascivious answers and analyzed the sincerity of the costumes.

This year each person was asked to remember a musician who died in 2016 and sing a few lines. Former Nederland Mayor Joe Gerlach and announcer Stephanie Andelman kept the repartee rolling.

All but one contestant was from out of town or out of state, some of them traveling from as far as Florida to attend Ned’s largest festival. This year enticed a large number of men to compete, some of whom didn’t even know where Bredo was from and some were just interested in having the chance to dance a jig on stage.

The Re-animation Tent rocked to the lineup of bands for the night. Outside of the tent, a flame dancer entertained the spillover crowd and at one point a local law enforcement officer demonstrated his martial arts skills with the torches.

Saturday morning, for those who didn’t go to the Blue Ball, began early at the Nederland Area Senior’s Annual Pancake Breakfast with Jim Elder in charge of the kitchen and a cadre of volunteers serving the crowd. The breakfast was held both Saturday and Sunday and at least 500 people loaded up the carbs to keep them warm through the day.

The morning began with a heavy mist dropping down over the reservoir and leaking into the town, creating an appropriate creepy effect as the hearses lined up for the annual FDGD parade. With skeletal feet hanging out the back and walking dead drivers, the vintage, dead guy decorated vehicles have always pleased the crowd.

The parade crept up First Street where they stopped in front of the Mountain People’s Co-op where Little Foot, the announcer, made sure that the thousands of people lining the street knew who they were seeing. Coffin teams held their passengers high and then did the Chinese Fire Drill as the crowd roared their approval.

As the last team cleared the street, a massive surge of people headed to the reservoir where the above-ground pool filled with extra cold ice water awaited the hardy, brave, die-hard men, women and children who signed up for the polar plunge.

Bikinis and tutus and bulging bellies hurtled through the air, landing in numbing reality as members of the Nederland Fire Protection District, warm in their diving suits, assisted the breath challenged plungers.

Once again, most of the jumpers were from out of town. Nederland Middle Senior High School student Townes Bakke represented the town teens as he braved the leap.

After the plunge, the coffin race area filled with fans, thousands of them, ready for the main event. They stood on the slight hillside around the course which had been outlined with logs and Eldora-born snow brought in by dump trucks. Warm breezes had, however, diminished much of it to slush and ultimately slimy mud pools, which, of course, were included in the finish stretch. It was an ugly scene, with many of the competitors slipping into the muck, crawling their way out while others carried their coffins over them. Twenty-five teams, that’s 175 racers competed.

Last year’s winning team, the Nerds, showed up to reclaim the title. They had ousted the long-time winners The Pink Socks, who retired their pinkness after the defeat. The Nerds had a good, logical strategy for the course, which unfortunately did not include the burly strength of a bunch of CU ROTC students, who muscled their way around the white-coated doctorate students, in the name of Star Wars: The Phantom Knife-Hand.

Coffin mastermind Marilyn Medalion said, “Our inspiration in a world of DA4850’s and endless micromanagement, is to strive to break from the monotony of being a cadet and make memories with our battle buddies.” After winning the $100 first place prize, the mud-splattered students said it had been much more difficult than they anticipated, but they had the force on their side.

Eldora Mountain Resort ski and snowboard instructors, AKA the Deadly Downhillers, mustered up a team for the first time and sporting their signature red jackets actually made it to the semi-finals before they were mowed down.

The Second Place prize went to Team Awkward who described themselves as, “A group of weirdos with animal tendencies. Six years ago, the awkward tradition started as manimals, part man, part animal. This year we decided to embrace the animal inside and put the spirit animal on the outside as their costume. We are a collection of transplant friends and random roommates.”

This year’s coffins demonstrated a spike of creativity with teams carrying blue plastic swimming pools, whisky kegs, ladders, kayaks and a cardboard contraption that disintegrated before the finish. It was hilarious and outrageous in its spontaneous and singular presentation of how much fun people can have playing in the mud wearing tutus with boots.

The 2017 Best Theme Coffin went to “The Only Good Lawyer is a Dead Lawyer,” who are staff members from an elder law office in Tampa, Florida. The all-female team members are either lawyers or paralegals. The group of women took off at the start, along with their opponent, but were instantly left behind, as they stolidly trudged over the crusty course, deliberating all the way, not going too fast. Dressed austerely, they walked, heads held high, spine straight, until they approached the finish when they yanked off their jackets and pranced around the mud hole. The crowd loved them.

The Animals Misfits won the Most Spirited Award, for their boisterous approach to the contest. The crowd then moved back to the beer and band tents, to the fun and games that were taking place on First Street. The frozen turkey bowling is one of the more popular events with athletes of all ages. Turkeys are for the big guys and gals, and chickens are for the kids. It is a dangerous game, as sometimes the fowl leaves its intended path towards the pins and flies into the crowd.

Human Foosball competition and Frozen T-shirt contests: there was much to see and do all contained on the main street in town. A street entertainer persuaded four strong men to hang onto ropes that supported a ladder while he balanced on the top of it juggling torches and long sharp knives at the same time.

As people meandered through the roadside attractions, they also lined up at the food vendors, who offered a tantalizing variety of street tacos, barbecue, slabs of ribs, pizza slices, funnel cakes, turkey legs, healthy snow cones, hot chocolate and warm cinnamon almonds in a cool paper container. It was a smorgasbord of better than average fast food.

As dusk approached, the wandering families wandered away and the adults poured into the tents where local and not so local favorite bands kept the pulse pounding until closing time.

On Sunday, many of the Saturday contests were held again for those who had missed their chance to wrestle with a rock solid frozen t-shirt, in an attempt to tear apart an opening for their arms and head. The local favorite Sunday event is the annual Frozen salmon toss at the Sundance Restaurant and Lodge. Hillary Stephenson orders a few prime three-foot long salmons which are damaged beyond repair as throwers get a grip on gills and do their best to throw the fish the farthest.

Hilary Kysar, of Rollinsville, won the women’s division for the third time. Chris Dettman, who has been a five-time second placer, didn’t even make it to third place this year because his salmon became disemboweled in the first few seconds of its flight. It just kind of flaked in all directions.

Ben, a boy from Florida, won the kids’ event and Tyler, a local, won the men’s category. First Street activities came to an end, the bands wrapped up, the food vendors shut off their grills and traffic and security workers welcomed the relative quiet of downtown streets.

By all definitions, the 2017 Frozen Dead Guy Days was an overwhelming success.
