I just visited Whiskerbrew's homestead and was left in awe. They built a challenging jumping puzzle in this Alice in Wonderland feeling forest that takes you through the treetops along treehouses and it even features a plushy scavenger hunt. If you see their LFG up in EU I would definitely suggest seeing for yourself :)

Happy Mischief Monday! Have a double mischief!

Nights were, somehow, worse. During the day, Lark could could distract himself with chores and tasks, but at night, when silence fell and there was nothing left to do, he ached.

Longing seeped into his limbs like the winter cold, gathering heavily at the joints. He checked that Sparrow was asleep and crept outside. He closed his eyes, refusing to look at the sky.

Nick's presence burned just beyond the village; he never ventured far, not for long.

He exhaled shakily and left the village.

It had taken years to develop this skill, to learn the limits of the curse and consequences, to find the line and exactly how to toe it.

He had learned that even just seeing each other at a distance could trigger the painful consequences of the curse, almost as badly as touching each other. Even nust watching Nick without him knowing could hurt them both. But he could get close. He could listen and hold the bright, fierce ball of Nick's energy in his mind and imagine they were in each other's arms.

He sat in the raised roots of an old oak tree that greeted him affectionately and closed his eyes, head tipped back.

(A few days late but here's your treat! Toosh getting ready for a costume party with cartoontrio at the end. Enjoy!) “Hold still!” Tina said as she beat more powder onto Foolish’s face. Foolish spit and sputtered as the beauty blender continuously patted onto his mouth, “Well you keep beating me with some sponge thing!”

Tina rolled her eyes as she went to grab an eyeshadow pallet.

“I thought you grew up with sisters?” She asked rhetorically as she busted a brush with golden, flaky eyeshadow. She blew any excess off before carefully gliding the brush on the apple of his cheeks.

Foolish just rolled his eyes like he just heard the stupidest question ever, “Doesn’t mean I had to sit for hours for their amusement. The most they’ve done was like blush or something.”

“Well I hope I’m doing a better job than that.”  

“You haven’t even let me look yet!”

“Trust the process!”

Foolish grumbled but he stayed put. After another 30 minutes of carefully brush strokes and color matching, Tina was happy with her masterpiece. She made Foolish close his eyes as she slowly turned his chair around to the mirror of the vanity.

“Ok, open!”

Foolish slowly opened his eyes and immediately felt his jaw drop at his reflection. Admittedly, he was pretty skeptical when Tina said she wanted to do his makeup like his minecraft character, or at least how the fans drew him. She grayed out his skin but the contour and highlights made it look more believable. There were shimmers of gold on his cheeks and along his sharp jaw. She even made some fake freckles colored gold.

Tina flashed the fake fangs she had put in earlier, “What did you think?”

Immediate response, “It looks like shit.”

Tina gasped and looked at him in shock as he laughed at her expression. He loved messing with her, he found it hilarious.

“Ok, ok, it actually looks good.” He clarified, hands raised in the air.

“You’re an asshole, actually.” Tina pouted, starting to put away her makeup, “After I worked so hard on your look.”

Just then, a knock came from the door. A second later, the doorknob turned and Karl poked his head in. He was dressed in a wizard’s robe similar to one that Tina drew for him.

“You guys almost done? The party is gonna start soon.” Karl said before he saw Foolish’s complete look, “Holy shit, dude! You look sick!” 

“Thanks, I know.” Foolish smirked and crossed his arms, a cocky arrogance oozing out of him.

“We’ll be out in a minute!” Tina declared, to which Karl nodded and closed the door for them. The two of them hurry into the rest of their costumes and walk out the room to where Karl was scrolling on his phone on the couch.

He grinned and stood up when he saw his two friends were ready. “Now lets get irresponsibly drunk!” He hollered, and all of them cheered and threw their arms up in the air.
