There was a new superhero movie coming out. The casting was a FtM person, a MtF person, two pink praying mantis and a dog.

You seem like a good person, and I don’t mean that in a condescending manner, like you genuinely seem like a person who come hell or high water always goes out of their way to see the best in people, no matter what.

But you’re wrong about there ever being the possibility of peace between Israel and the Palestinians, hell, there won’t ever be a true peace with the other Arabs.

They hate you, worse than I think I’ve ever seen a collective group hate another.

And after what they did on October 7th, you should hate them back equally.

It’s too late to go back.

Here is a confession, I don't see the best in people, because people are people, we are a mass of potential, for both of the extremes. Choosing kindness, choosing a common ground, choosing to listen is hard job, but I am not gonna stop.

there will be peace, because I refuse to accept any other option. It might not be in my lifetime, but I will happily dedicate my life so the next generation will have a better chance to live that peace.

We don't to that because it is easy, we do it because it is the right thing to do, and tell me, what is nobler goal than fighting so my children will not have to?

the idea that all Arabs hates all Jews... well, everybody hates the Jews and it doesn't stop us from talking with other people?

and I hate to pull that phrase, but not all Arabs. when talking to Arabs, and specifically Palestinians, both Christians and Muslims I am often accepted with joy and love. Is this not enough? I know of Gazians that send worried messages to their Israeli friends across the border that horrific day, is this not something worth fighting for? The Bedouin community organized within hours a search and rescue brigade that went through the battlefields and saved people sometimes at the cost of their own life, how can I give up on that? one of the first places to offer shelters to the displaced was a Palestinian community, is this not love? Personally, I have Palestinian friends, is that not enough of a prof that we can build something? are all of those things hate?

how can I see all of that and not fight for that? how can I let this love be drowned in hate? How can I give up on those people?

this is a movement forward, we are not going back because there is no need to. We will make peace between us, because no other option is acceptable. this is not optimism, this is the plain reality.

Ouch! Looks like this long eared fella is having trouble for today’s Inktober artwork. You know what happens for any mailmen being chased by dogs from shows or animated shows. How about both dogs dressed themselves, but things aren’t going so well for Wilson.

🦝Random Raccoon Girl: That’s not very nice. He did get hurt by that bad mail dog. Shoo! Go away! Are you okay, mister?

🐶Wilson “Long Ears”: I’m fine. My left ear does stings a bit, though.

🦝Random Raccoon Girl: It’s a good thing I’m dressing as a nurse for this year. Don’t worry, mister. I’ll take you to get some bandage wrapped around your ear.
