I was looking up references of a specific room in Arendelle’s castle from season 4 of “Once Upon A Time,” and it just reminded me of how much I miss these two… 🥺😫

What if instead of Rumple finally giving up being the Dark One for Belle, we got to see him have the sudden realization that if he kept being the Dark One, he would have to watch another son die. Not because he was killed or simply died too early but because he grew old. That he would outlive any potential grandkids as well as their kids and their kids. We've seen him choose power over love because of fear. What if he had a stronger fear than being powerless? What if he suddenly realized it was far scarier to watch those he loved grow old and die and suddenly being powerless didn't look too bad?
