PC a Week: Lady Magdalena Menken

System: The Mecha Hack

The Mecha Hack is a neat, fairly lightweight mechs-based RPG. It's based on The Black Hack, a game with which I'm not familiar.

The Mecha Hack looks super fun. For this PC, I'm envisioning the lore of the 40K Knight world I concocted with @undauntra , though I didn't delve as deeply into the character's background as I have with some others.

Record: My family was collateral damage in a battle between two minor Menken cousins. I managed to kill one of them, Sir Vishal Menken, in a duel. The other, Lady Aminath Menken, carries too much of the favour of our lord.

#my replacement pen came in today ican finally start working on artfight attacks YAYYYYY #ive been clawing at the walls itching to get my ideas out for weeks #i drew alex with wavy hair in the second drawing bc i got his dialogue where he stops using hair gel and i hc he has naturally #wavy hair ^_^ i think it goes well with him softening up as u get to knw him.. now im just trying to work up the courage to give #him a bouquet lol. i keep flip flopping on whether i wanna play this file thru my oc or just fuck it and go self insert #but i like building little ideas in my mind for how my farmer would fit in pelican town and how they run their farm so i think ill keep thi #an oc thing. i have another file on pc since 1.6 isnt released for mobile yet so thatll be my self insert thing where plan on #shooting my shot with harvey. System: Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying

SIFRP is, you may have guessed, a roleplaying game tie-in for the Song of Ice and Fire novels. It has a neat system built into it for creating a custom noble house for your party. I've used the house-creation system many times, for creating backstory for a lot of different endeavours, but never actually rolled up a PC before.

Background

Ser Othwood is the youngest son of Archebond Volwycke, and nephew of Lord Alexard Volwycke.

In his youth, Othwood was squire to Ser Proster Tully, a minor Tully cousin. While Othwood was a squire, a Ser Joharis Myriman was a guest at the Volwycke manor. He impregnated Othwood’s big sister Cristilla and then skipped town. Othwood has sworn an oath of enmity against Ser Joharis.

Shortly after he was knighted, Othwood took money to throw a fight in a tournament. The scheme was exposed, and the scandal has tarnished his name to this day. Ser Othwood vowed to prove his honour by never losing a fight again.

After the scandal broke, Ser Othwood journeyed to King’s Landing, to prostrate himself before the High Septon. The High Septon set him a quest of penance, to retrieve the ivory-carved Father of Faithwall Hill from the Grey Wraith of the Mountain. At its completion, the Septon anointed him.

In his battle with the Grey Wraith, Ser Othwood’s sword was shattered. He carries a battleaxe now, until such time as he can afford a new sword.

History

Ser Volantine Wycke was head of an insignificant cadet branch of House Wycke when the senior line went extinct. Most of the House’s holdings reverted to Lord Tully, but the latter did bestow a Lordship on Volantine; his descendants have since been known as House Volwycke.

The veteran chivalry of the House died of a plague.

The current head of the house is Lord Alexard Volwycke, now 40. He has one female bastard, Rosamond, and one legitimate daughter, Osabylla, by his lady wife, Agneta. Alexard has a living younger brother, Archebond.

Archebond has three sons, Leonal, Parswell, and Othwood, and a daughter, Cristilla.
