Problems and drawbacks of vibration damping mats
Rubber shock pads:

High resonance frequency, weak ability to withstand pressure, irregular characteristics, short application cycle.

Weak in strength and easily ruptured when impacted by external forces. Therefore, they are generally not recommended for use on equipment subject to heavy use.
Water resistance is poor, and they are not suitable for use in humid environments.
  Sponge shock pads:
  Less resistant to water, not suitable for use in wet environments.
