Soon after, I heard about how he’d debuted with a band. I tried listening to them, but their sound was so soft that it made my ink churn.

It's an older song but I only found out about it when a Sploon artist I followed made the most banger remix? Everyday I weep how there's no full remix bc it's so good... Anyway I love this cover the most because her voice is so smooth 🥹 I replay this song like crazy it hit top played, and I never get sick of it which never happens to me!

I LOVE Nayutalien songs!! They're so energetic and the sci-fi romance theme is extremely cute!! :') Only catch is that it can be really high-pitched and grating if unaccustomed. It's been a year since Secret UFO released but I still love it even now :)

One of the first few original songs by Mafumafu I think, and the video is also done by Miwashiba. This was one of my favourite songs like... a decade back LOL Then I listened to it again and realise I still loved it. It can be pretty grating too because the instrumentals can be overwhelming. Also because it's an older song, the audio on headphones feel kinda mushy. I really wish there's a crisp HQ version!

Pirate AU: Baker and Ichiya / No Honor Among Thieves

In the early 1690s, Captain Baker Rasgado and her quartermaster, Ichiya, commanding a pirate ship named "the Kraken", began to rise in notoriety in the Anarchy Sea. The duo's bond was strong as steel... or at least, that's what Baker thought. In 1694, Ichiya betrayed Baker with the goal of keeping all of their plundered treasure for himself. He made Baker, along with Uotora, Baker's last loyal crew member, walk the plank and left her to die in the middle of the ocean. Baker only survived by holding onto Uotora's back for dear life.

Baker and Uotora were left with absolutely nothing. Baker made a vow to kill Ichiya, but she wasn't going to get anywhere with no ship and no crew. She stole a new ship and named her "the Paintscraper". During this time she met Kiki, who decided to join up with Baker and would quickly become one of her most trusted confidants. The new trio of Baker, Kiki and Uotora had been formed, and this time, it would last until they arrived at world's end.

As for Ichiya, the Kraken sunk in 1697 because of a mutiny lead by Ikkan combined with an intense naval battle with the Paintscraper. Kiki and Uotora searched the wreck of the ship to find Ichiya's body, but they couldn't find it. He had escaped with all the treasure. Ichiya would lay low in hiding for years for fear for his life, until returning to piracy in the Spring of 1702, with a new ship, "the Death Roe", and most of his old crew reunited. Baker and Ichiya's final confrontation wouldn't be long now.
