If the speed 1.16 million km per second is Not Measured, How Can Prove It?

The planets data analysis proves it-let's explain how this method works

Example No. (1)

The moon daily displacement =88000 km and during 29.53 days, the displacements total be = 2.598 million km = 2π x 413600 km

The data tells the moon orbital apogee radius should be 413600 km and the moon must revolve around the Earth through this orbit (413600 km) along month and can't revolve around the Earth through any more near orbit!

Not Facts because -the moon orbital apogee radius =406000 km and the moon revolves through more near orbits and reaches to the perigee radius (363000 km)! 

How Can The Moon Do That? The intelligent moon creates an angle (θ) between its motion direction and its orbit by that the real displacement (L) through the orbit be (L = 88000 km cos θ), that causes the real displacements total be less than (2.598 million km) and enables the moon apogee to be decreased from 413600 km to 406000 km-

The physics book tells the sun rays are created by the sun nuclear fusion- I refuse that

My theory tells – The Sun Rays Are Created By The Planets Motions Energies Total- The Sun Is Not Doing Nuclear Fusion To Produce Its Rays

Instead the planets motions energies total is used as the source of energy for the sun rays- means- the planets were found and revolving around a point in space and the sun is created later on this point of space- No planet moves by the sun gravity- also the sun doesn't create a gravitational field and the gravitational waves are produced by the planets motions energies-  

That explains why the sun corona temperature is (5 million Kelvin) but the sun surface is 5800 Kelvin!? Because the energy is Not produced by the nuclear fusion but by the planets motions energies total –means- the energy is Not come from the sun mass to out but the energy is sent from the out into the sun mass- by that the corona temperature is the energy from which the sun surface temperature is created.

Planet motion produces energy (1/2mv^2) and this energy is stored in the space in waves form (the energy isn't stored in the planet because it raises its temperature) Means - the planets motions energies are stored in the space in waves form

These waves are the gravitational waves– means- the gravitational waves are produced by the planets motions energies and not by a gravitational field moreover  the sun doesn't create a gravitational field- my paper proves that

Let's explain how the sun rays is created-

The planets waves (the gravitational waves) are unified into one unified wave and this wave moves relative to the sun

The relative motion has two players (the first is the unified wave motion) and (the second is the sun point of space)

(the first player) The unified wave velocity equal the planets velocities total (176 km/s) but this velocity is increased by the planets motions energies accumulation- the planets motions use different rates of time to increase this wave velocity till be equal (speed of light =C= 300000 km/s) – means- this unified wave moves by speed of light (300000 km/s) relative to the sun point of space-

(The Second Player)- My theory tells – the planets matters and their distances are created from one light beam energy and the planets are geometrical points found on this light beam and move by this light beam motion- means - the planets are similar to ships on the sea of water they move by the sea waves motions- (and the planets velocities are less than speed of light because the planet use different rates of time for their motions) 

Here- the second player is the sun point of space and this point is a stationary point its velocity is (1 km/s = Zero approximately)-

Shortly- we have a relative motion between 2 players- the first moves by speed of light 300000 km/s and the second is stationary point (1 km/s =Zero approximately)

How can a stationary point be created on the moving light (or on the sea water)?

Let's remark the sun point of Space as (Point X)–this is a defined point in the space means- No any point in the space can be used- we use only the revolution center because it's a stationary point and its velocity is 1 km/s (= Zero approximately) 

Now- the sun point of space (Point X) is different from any other point of space because the other points move by different velocities and they can't be stationary points where there's only one stationary point in the revolution design

Shortly, the sun rays is created by a relative motion between 2 players, (the first player moves by speed of light 300000 km/s) and (the second player moves by 1 km/s = stationary point)- based on this different velocity the sun rays is created

Now- the second player is a point in space- but not any point in space can be used- we need one selected point which moves by 1 km/s (stationary point)- only and just only by this point (Point X) the sun rays can be created- any other point of space can NOT do this same job and the sun rays will never be created

The solar system geometry and the solar planets motions create One Geometrical Design for the sun point of space to cause its velocity to be 1 km/s

Why are these mathematical calculations necessary?

Because, the sun rays is created by a relative motion between 2 players- the unified wave and the sun point of space- for that reason- this point of space (Point X) is designed geometrically accurately to cause its motion velocity to be 1 km/s because this is the cornerstone to produce the sun rays-if the velocity of the (Point X) be 20 km/s (for example) the sun rays will never be created

The solar system (planets and distances) is created from one energy and this energy is provided by one light beam and this light beam moves by speed (1.16 million km/s)

Let's write the whole story in following

The light beam (1.16 million km per second) started its motion from Mercury orbit moves toward Pluto orbit– by that– we consider Mercury orbit is the origin point-

Now- we should notice- No planet is created yet- the motion from Mercury orbit to Pluto orbit defines the motion direction- and No planet is created before this motion end nor during this motion- the planets will be created after this motion is finished means when the light 1.16 million km per second reaches to Pluto (orbit)- after this event – the planets will be created –as I will explain later

The light (1.16 million km per second) creates the distances by its motion- means- the light moves from Mercury point to Venus point– the distance from Mercury to Venus was not found and is created only by the light motion through it for first time- means – before the light motion this distance was NOT found- It's found after the light moves through this distance for first time-    

This is similar to the blood motion through the arteries, the blood creates these arteries and the blood moves through these arteries, but the blood created these arteries with its first motion and that needed energy- but – after the arteries creation the blood move through them without any energy is required- means- the first motion is the most important one because by it the arteries are created

Shortly- The space is created from the energy of this light beam its speed 1.16 million km per second – NOW- after the Space creation- the light beam energy is decreased because of the energy consumption in the space creation process- and the rest energy is one light beam its speed is (C=300000 km/s =the light known speed) – But - We understand that- it's the same one light beam- its speed was 1.16 million km /s before the space creation- and the light created the space and that caused to consume the light energy and that caused to decrease the light speed to be 300000 km/s

Shortly- the light beam started its motion from Mercury (orbit) with speed 1.16 million km /s and reaches to Pluto (orbit) with a speed 300000 km/s because of the energy consumption in the space creation process  

Let's give example to explain this idea

Imagine we create A Sea Of Water- we use energy to create this sea of water- now we have some energy and we use this energy to create this sea of water- BUT- our energy is NOT spent completely But there's a small part still rest with us – this small part of energy is used to create one wave moves through this sea and this wave speed is 300000 km/s (I suppose the space is similar to the sea of water)

Now – the rest energy is found in one light beam its speed 300000 km/s and this light beam is found NOW in Pluto Orbit – and this light beam will be reflected from Pluto orbit toward the inner planets– means- the rest energy will move in the reflected direction to the original light motion direction.

The light beam (300000 km/s) will be reflected from Pluto toward the inner planets

AND  the light 300000 km/s will meet the original light beam (1.16 million km per second) in the origin point (in fact – beside the origin point) and there's a coherence of light is done between the light beam (300000 km/s) and the light beam (1.16 million km per second) – this coherence of light is proved strongly- we have to ask (how can that be possible while the light beam 1.16 million km /s is consumed and the new light beam 300000 km/s is the rest energy? how this light beam (300000 km/s) can meet the original one (1.16 million km per second)? in points no. The previous data tells us how the light beam motion creates the distances-

Simply the light uses a distance as (a period of time) and travels through this period another distance- that can be understood clearly from Jupiter distances- let's look deeply as possible

The light beam (1.16 million km per second) uses the period 629 seconds to pass a new distance = 729 million km (Mercury Jupiter distance is 721 million km error 1%) – where 629 million km = Jupiter Earth distance

Also  

The light beam (1.16 million km per second) uses the period 671 seconds to pas a new distance =778.6 million km (Jupiter orbital distance) 

where 671 million km = Jupiter Venus distance

by this method the light creates the distances based on each other- and that makes all distances to be created depends on one another and that makes all distances in the solar system to be One Network where all distances are created based on the same One Geometrical Design

The data shows the method clearly and we understand the light original motion started from Mercury orbit to Pluto orbit because the distances are created based on one another in that direction of motion as explained clearly

The distances are NOT created by the motion of this light beam (300000 km/s) – but the distances are created by the motion of the original light beam (1.16 million km per second) but the proportionality between the distances with the light (300000 km/s) is found because there's a proportionality between the original one (1.16 million km per second) and this light beam (300000 km/s) – AND 

Because the light (300000 km/s) moves in the reflected direction of the original light beam (1.16 million km per second) that causes the proportionality between the distances and the light (300000 km/s) be in a reflected form

Jupiter Distances Analysis shows that Jupiter orbit is the central orbit for the light (1.16 million km per second) based on which all planets orbits are defined.

But – this is not the first creation case –

The light (1.16 million km per second) created the planets orbits based on each other starting from Mercury orbit moves toward Pluto orbit – this is the fist creation case – and this fact is proved strongly in point no. (I-9*)

BUT

Mars had migrated from its original orbit (Mars original orbit was between Mercury and Venus) and Pluto had migrated also (Pluto Was The Mercury Moon revolves around Mercury and Pluto size was equal Mercury size)

The planets migration caused a serious risk for the solar system geometrical design- Uranus was the first planet tried to repair the solar system geometrical design and to save it- by that

Uranus created a vertical effect on Jupiter orbit to fix Jupiter in its orbit and prevent it to migrate with the migrant planets- and based on Jupiter orbit the other planets orbits are modified – that supported the solar system original design and saved it which causes to protect the geometrical design from the destruction.

That causes Jupiter orbit to be the most important orbit in the solar system- the paper third hypothesis explains the planets migration and Jupiter orbit analysis is done with the solar system design analysis (I-11*)

The previous explanation told us that we have 2 light beams-

The original light beam its speed (1.16 million km per second) and it started its motion from Mercury orbit to Pluto orbit (where Mercury orbit is the light motion origin point) – and this light beam created all distances in the solar system and lost its energy in the space creation process and the rest energy is one light beam its speed is (C=300000 km/s)

The other light beam is the rest energy- its speed is (C=300000 km/s) and it moves in a reflected direction from Pluto toward Venus and Mercury-

Now – we have a coherence of light between these two light beams- the coherence is proved by powerful proves BUT firstly we have to ask (how can this coherence be occurred)? Because the original light (1.16 million km/s) is consumed and its energy is used already and the rest energy is this light its speed is (300000 km/s) - HOW can the light (1.16 million km/s) meet the light (300000 km/s)??

Imagine we have (116 dollars) and we spent all money except (30 dollars)- how can this (30 dollars) meet the original money (116 dollars)??

Suppose the light beam (300000 km/s) moves in the reflected direction (in the space) and also (in the time) – that can enable the light (300000 km/s) to meet the original one (1.16 million km/s) in the past and the coherence will be done there in the past- and we see the coherence results and effects on the solar system -

Means – the light (300000 km/s) moves into the past and found the original light (1.16 million km/s) in the past

The planets order is typical to the interference of Young –

In the double slits experiment, Young Interference is consisted of bright fringes and dark fringes - If we consider planet diameter is equivalent to bright fringe – we will see that- the planets order is typically to Young interference because

Jupiter (the greatest fringe) is in the middle and the fringes width is decreased gradually on both sides – typically to the planets order

Notice / I have proved that (Mars original orbit was between Mercury and Venus) if we restore Mars to its original orbit the order will be typical to the Young Interference

The light coherence defines the solar day period (24 hours) which is the solar system design cornerstone 

(1.16 /0.3) x 2π = 24.3

By this equation the space and time are created- the equation tells–the space is created in curves (2π) and the time is created in units each unit is (24 hours) 

Please note – the solar system geometrical design depends on the light motion in a solar day (24 hours = 86400 seconds)

Now The velocity is a motion in (A Defined Direction)

Means– the matter is created because it depends on a motion in a defined direction- as we have seen- Neptune diameter is 49528 km because Neptune velocity is 5.4 km/s but this velocity is a motion in defined direction- and that tells Neptune creation depends on a motion in the direction of the (x axis positive "+x ") (for example)

That tells, if this motion moves in (x axis negative "-x ") that will cause Neptune diameter to be changed or perished

Means- the matter creation needs a motion in A Defined Direction

Now let's ask our question

Why Can't The matter (creature) Moves Toward Its Past?

Because the matter depends on a motion in one defined direction- that causes the matter moves into (the future) always and can't move into (the past) let's discuss this question more deeply in point no (I-6)

The second procedure

The previous idea is correct- but –the velocity 300000 km/s is a huge one and to decrease it to Zero velocity this is a complex process– for that- the wave (300000 km/s) created small waves with low velocities to use them as steps to decrease the velocity to Zero- the small waves are The Planets- (The planet is a small wave moves by low velocity relative to the original wave its velocity 300000 km/s) 

Why Are These Small Waves Required?

Because the velocity 300000 km/s is decreased to Zero by using these small waves and their low velocities- the low velocities are used as steps to decrease the unified wave velocity (300000 km/s) to be (Zero)- this process decreases the velocity gradually from 300000 km/s to Zero depending on these small waves velocities (the planets velocities)  

Means- the planets are created for this process to decrease the wave velocity from 300000 km/s to Zero- and The Planet Is A Small Wave Moves By Low Velocity 

Shortly – the solar system has one complete system of velocities, Starting from Zero to 300000 km/s where the planets velocities are the steps between the two velocities – let's prove that here

7.1 is Lorentz length contraction effect for speed 297000 km/s (99% of speed of light)

205.8 km/s = the 9 planets velocities total (176 km/s) + the Earth moon velocity

(The moon velocity =29.8 km/s = the Earth velocity because they revolve together)

Why does the data use the squared value (205.8)^2?

We know the answer- but - Let's remember it

The planets are geometrical points on the same light beam and move with its motion- for that- the planets velocities rates creates rates of time– for example-  Mercury velocity = 1.6 the Earth velocity- that means – one hour of Mercury clock = 1.6 hours of the Earth clock- Why??

Because Mercury and the Earth are carried by the same one light beam- the light moves one motion and passes one distance in one period of time- by that Mercury and the Earth have to move this same motion and to pass this same distance in this same period of time- but the two planets velocities are different- for that- the planets use different rates of time based on their velocities rates and by that the planets move equal distances in the same period of time –

Now- the velocity (205.8 km/s) moves relative to the stationary point (Zero) and creates a rate of time (1 second = 205.8 seconds) –

(one second of the unified wave clock = 205.8 seconds of the stationary point clock)

But – the energy is reflected in the solar system (I prove that in point no.**),

(one second of the stationary point clock = 205.8 seconds of the unified wave clock)

The stationary point will be THE SUN – by that

Now during one second of the sun clock, the wave clock needs 205.8 seconds while the wave moves by a velocity 205.8 km/s- means –

During one second of the sun clock, the wave moves 42253 km = 300000 km /7.1

That creates the different velocity 300000 km/s between the sun motion and the wave motion-

To answer this question we need to review basics facts we have studied – let's do that in following

The light moves simply and freely in any direction (for space) and (for time)- means- the light can move into the future (as matter does) or into the past (which the matter can Not do)

We know, the light (1.16 million km per second) created the planets orbits firstly before any planet creation and the energy is consumed in the space creation and because of the energy consumption the light speed is decreased from  (1.16 million km per second) to the known speed of light 300000 km/s – also

We know, the light (1.16 million km per second) started its motion from Mercury orbit moves toward Pluto- that means- the light (1.16 million km per second) started from Mercury orbit with speed (1.16 million km per second) and the light created all planets orbits till Pluto orbit- before any planet creation- and by that- the light lost its energy and the light beam in Pluto orbit reduced its speed to be 300000 km/s as a result for the energy consumption in the space creation process

Below the photograph is an image created between myself x AI in 2022 that inspired the above piece. My views and concerns have changed a lot since my experiments in 2022. Even then I had some worries, but I was also incredibly curious and was given the access to play around for multiple months with free credits that replenished daily. (I thankfully didn't spend a dime)

I came out of it with a breadth of imagery that has continued to inspire me, not unlike how I am inspired by found imagery on the web, bootlegs and other odd and lost ephemera, toy design, novelties, mass produced objects like stickers etc.

I spent most of my credits on mixtures of words, textures, colours and shapes to create a world of miniatures. Eventually the machine was trying to make too much sense of my requests and the playful and creative aspects melted away for me. I am still curious about the image making uses of this type of tool but in the hand of corporations, no different in goal than the corporate art of popular mass culture films, music and gaming etc, everything is on a continuous soulless trajectory. Haha, sigh. There is a lot of art that I already ignore.. understand it's all incredibly subjective, but most art sucks (to me).

I enjoyed my results but I don't enjoy the context in which this all 'exists'.

I have remade these digital curiosities anew. From the unreal-state of this nightmarish tech, material works were eventually born from my hands. It did not feel dissimilar to me than how I used to enjoy utilizing photoshop to clash together found imagery. Being playful with things found online that didn't necessarily belong to me, but felt as though they belong to us all.

The art of appropriation through some extra 'filters' that can leave you blind. I wish one could access a reversal mechanism with AI, to see all the pieces of the puzzle that was used to construct a resulting image. Clearly a lot of what is concocted through AI are deliberate plagiarisms: can you imagine requesting 'work' in the voice or style of a specific artist and believing that what the machine has created is 'unique'? (Ahem: Paul Schrader lol)

Sorry to blab but I will have continued rambled thoughts about AI technology as we keep seeing all of this develop esp in mass culture. My feelings in terms of AI in the art world is that it probably will eventually be seen as a fad that has eaten itself. (Perhaps it already has. AI CEOs are already admitting that their algorithms have already scraped all there is to scrape.)

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday ...

A cooler day today, but still not raining. Nor was it raining on Saturday, Saturday, Saturday either ... so the Groundhog Day TV Guide and newspaper didn't turn into papier-mâché.

All highly unusual. After all, this is a Bank Holiday, and this is the Emerald Isle ... soooooooooo ... someone or something must have managed to appease/distract the Gods and get them to delay their bath-time. As I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before, their plumbing leaves a lot to be desired ... so it could be that finally, finally some celestial plumber made his way to their not so des res and fixed this and that to cut down on the overflow.

The washing machine carries on apace. All hooman stuff has been washed, however, there's still the not-so-small matter of the bedding etc etc that belongs to the Hairy Horde. (shakes head and tuts to self) ... I've tried and tried to talk to them about this ... shown them just how the machine works ... upped their weekly pocket money ... and yet ... (big sigh) ... not one of them has managed to do any of this stuff for themselves. Obviously more research on incentives is needed.

On a final (and unrelated) note, I'm now watching the final season of The Handmaid's Tale. I know, I know ... not the happiest of TV fare but, given current circumstances, I'm curious to see how they bring it all to a close. I didn't bother with the previous season ... I'd taken all I could of grim old Gilead and the interminable lingering shots on not-so-jolly June's face ... but I figure that there could just be some useful pointers as to what to do and how to survive 2025. Come on, Margaret Atwood ... give us the bullet points! ;-)

Ach well ... breakfast is calling ... fingers crossed my porridge is less than apocalyptic! ;-D ...

Waar?   Tentoonstelling Liliane Lijn – Arise Alive in het Museum Moderner Kunst (MUMOK), Wenen

Een week in Wenen moet wel een week vol kunst worden. Secession, Klimt, Schiele en anderen wachten om nader ontdekt te worden. Mijn vlucht verliep voorspoedig en dus heb ik nog een hele middag voor me als ik in het hotel arriveer. Ik besluit mijn kunstreis te beginnen in onze eigen tijd en wel met een bezoek aan het MUMOK, das Museum Moderner Kunst. Een paar verdiepingen van het museum zijn gesloten, maar drie ondergrondse lagen zijn gewijd aan een presentatie uit de vaste collectie van het museum. Hier vinden we kunst van onder meer George Segal, Duane Hanson, June Paik, Yoko Ono, Daniel Spoerri en Armand. Twee bovengrondse etages zijn gewijd aan werk van een kunstenaar waar ik nog nooit van heb  gehoord: Liane Lijn. Zij werd in 1939 geboren in New York en studeerde kunstgeschiedenis en archeologie in Parijs. Daar maakte ze kennis met het surrealisme. De nadruk van deze stroming op dromen en het onderbewuste had grote invloed op het vroege werk van Lijn. Na enige tijd begon ze echter als een van de eerste kunstenaars kinetische werken te maken, waarbij licht, beweging en energieoverdracht centraal staan. In 1966 vestigde ze zich in Londen, waar ze nog steeds woont en werkt. Het werk dat ze in Londen maakte had feministische kenmerken. Daarbij verbond ze mythische elementen met high-tec ontwikkelingen.

Op de tentoonstelling zijn veel werken te zien die bewegen. Vanwege de kwetsbaarheid van deze werken zijn deze gedurende bepaalde tijdvakken actief. In het eerste deel van de tentoonstelling zijn een aantal van dergelijke kunstwerken te zien die alle een verbinding met taal hebben. De grote draaiende en lichtgevende pilaar met de titel Way Out is Way In valt daarbij onmiddellijk in het oog. De woorden zijn ontleed aan de antiroman Naked Lunch (1959) door de Amerikaanse auteur William Burroughs. Andere taal-gerelateerde installaties zijn bijvoorbeeld Fidel Prism Poem Machine en Get Rid of Government Time.

Rond 1970 maakt Lijn een aantal werken op papier, waarbij grafische vormen een grote rol spelen. Untitled bevat elektronische symbolen en getallen. Material Alphabets is een serie waarin grafische symbolen worden gebruikt. Eén daarvan doet me denken aan Stijl-kunstenaar Bart van der Lek. Ook in zijn werk komen vierkantjes, rechthoekjes en staafjes voor, maar dan in primaire kleuren. Ook het werk OOOP (1969) roept associaties op, echter niet met een beeldend kunstenaar maar met een dichter. Het doet mij sterk denken aan de grafische poëzie van de Vlaming Paul van Ostaijen.

Hanging Gardens of Rock City behoort tot een serie van vier fotocollages waarin Lijn de bovenste lagen van New Yorks wolkenkrabbers met elkaar verbindt tot surrealistische wandelroutes. In de serie Force Fields combineert Lijn simpele vormen met lijnen, terwijl in de serie Inner Space Outer Space conische vormen voorkomen die we herkennen uit haar driedimensionale werk.

Inmiddels is wel duidelijk dat Liliane Lijn zich als kunstenaar niet beperkt tot één medium of één bepaalde stijl. Maar mocht iemand nog twijfelen aan haar veelzijdigheid, dan geeft de rest van de tentoonstelling beslist de doorslag. Haar werken variëren van zachte pastel op handgeschept papier (Windows (Starskins)), aluminium (Queen of Hearts, Queen of Diamonds), glas (Headborn ), plexiglas (Inner Space), brons en andere materialen (Sweet Solar Dreams III).

Afgezien van Pablo Picasso kan ik me weinig kunstenaars voor de geest halen die een zo afwisselend en verrassend veelzijdig oeuvre hebben geproduceerd als Liliane Lijn. De tentoonstelling geeft een indrukwekkend beeld van die veelzijdigheid. Mijn kennismaking met deze kunstenaar vormt beslist een veelbelovend begin van een weekje kunst in Wenen.

Oswald Spengler et « la nausée des machines ».

Spengler publie son Homme et la technique en 1931. C’est le premier livre que j’ai lu de lui, en 1979, et celui qui m’a le plus marqué : le plus froid, le plus crépusculaire, le plus étincelant dans sa brièveté. Spengler y définit la « tragédie faustienne » : l’homme occidental est finalement vaincu par son industrie, ses sources d’énergie et sa techno-dépendance. A l’heure de la pénurie, du Grand Reset et du grand contrôle informatique planétaire (qui concerne Occident, Chine, Russie, Inde, Brésil et tout le reste), son livre reste une perle, au moins comparable au Règne de la quantité du Maître.

Répétons aussi les deux grandes phrases d’un livre époustouflant de Drieu :

« Tous se promènent satisfaits dans cet enfer incroyable, cette illusion énorme, cet univers de camelote qui est le monde moderne où bientôt plus une lueur spirituelle ne pénétrera… »

« Il n'y a plus de partis dans les classes plus de classes dans les nations, et demain il n'y aura plus de nations, plus rien qu'une immense chose inconsciente, uniforme et obscure, la civilisation mondiale, de modèle européen. »

C’est le dernier chapitre intitulé le Dernier acte qui m’intéresse. Spengler rappelle presque ironiquement les sources de la surpuissance du blanc devenu fétu de paille depuis :

« Les peuples germaniques, en particulier, sont assurés d'un quasi-monopole des gisements de charbon existants, ou en tout cas connus, ce qui les a conduits à une multiplication de leurs populations, sans égale dans l’'histoire. »

Mais la grande transformation a lieu, celle de Polanyi souvent pas si éloigné de Guénon et de Spengler :

« Au-dessus du charbon, et aux carrefours principaux des lignes de communication qui rayonnent à partir de là, est entassée une masse humaine de proportions monstrueuses, enfantée par la technique machiniste, travaillant pour elle et tirant d'elle ses moyens d'existence… »

La supériorité en charbon nourrit le colonialisme et le racisme qu’Hitler appliquera à d’autres blancs (les Russes ou les Ukrainiens, toujours aussi menacés par le capital occidental d’ailleurs) :

« Aux autres peuples que ce soit sous la forme de colonies ou d'États nominalement indépendants est dévolu le rôle de fournir les matières premières et de consommer les produits finis. »

Spengler rappelle la DESTRUCTION DE TOUT par l’ère industrielle :

« La MÉCANISATION DU MONDE est entrée dans une phase d'hypertension périlleuse à l'extrême. La face même de la Terre, avec ses plantes, ses animaux et ses hommes, n'est plus la même. En quelques décennies à peine la plupart des grandes forêts ont disparu, volatilisées en papier journal, et des changements climatériques ont été amorcés ainsi, mettant en péril l'économie rurale de populations tout entières. D'innombrables espèces animales se sont éteintes, ou à peu près, comme le bison, par le fait de l'homme; et des races humaines entières ont été systématiquement exterminées jusqu'à presque l’extinction totale, tels les Indiens de l'Amérique du Nord ou les aborigènes d'Australie. »

L’idée que la forêt a disparu par la faute du journalisme et de la presse abrutissante est fascinante tout de même. Le traducteur Petrowsky cite un livre d’un proche de Madison Grant, Fairfield Osborn, sur le pillage de la planète et la destruction, voire l’anéantissement de tous les paysages traditionnels. On n’est pas très loin de Savitri Devi ou d’Alexis Carrel. D’ailleurs Spengler écrit, toujours dans le Dernier acte de son œuvre :

« Nous sommes incapables de contempler le bétail paissant dans les champs, sans qu'il nous fasse penser à l'idée de son rendement pour la boucherie. Nous ne savons plus admirer la beauté des ouvrages faits à la main par les peuples encore simples, sans vouloir immédiatement leur substituer des procédés techniques modernes. Notre pensée technique DOIT ABSOLUMENT Se réaliser dans la pratique, judicieusement ou absurdement. »

Il remarque qu’en poussant à l’aberration le développement technique, l’homme touche à l’absurde (le progrès contre-productif !) :

« Cette machine commence d'ailleurs �� être, sur bien des plans, en contradiction avec la pratique économique : les signes avant-coureurs de leur divorce apparaissent déjà partout. Par sa multiplication et son raffinement toujours plus poussés, la machine finit par aller à l'encontre du but proposé. Dans les grandes agglomérations urbaines, l'automobile, par sa prolifération même, a réduit sa propre valeur : l'on se déplace plus vite à pied qu’en voiture. »

Et c’est là qu’intervient la nausée des machines, prélude au penchant suicidaire décrit par des esprits aussi proches (et différents) que Gheorghiu, Daniélou ou Bruckberger :

« Mais, durant ces dernières dizaines d'années, il est clair que cet état des choses change dans tous les pays où l'industrie à grande échelle est établie de longue date. La pensée Faustienne commence à ressentir la nausée des machines. »

Si Bernanos voit une soumission aux machines devenues folles dans sa France contre les robots, Spengler pressent une nausée qui va accompagner le regain écologiste de l’après-guerre (lui-même meut en 1936, qu’aurait-dit ou écrit vingt plus tard ?) :

« Une lassitude se propage, une sorte de pacifisme dans la lutte contre la Nature. Des hommes retournent vers des modes de vie plus simples et plus proches d'elle; ils consacrent leur temps aux sports plutôt qu'aux expériences techniques… Les grandes cités leurs deviennent odieuses et ils aspirent à s'évader de l'oppression écrasante des faits sans âme, de l'atmosphère rigide et glaciale de l'organisation technique. »

L’écologie a depuis vendu son âme à l’informatique et à sa gouvernance globaliste…

Edgar Poe écrivait :

« Prématurément amenée par des orgies de science, la décrépitude du monde approchait. C’est ce que ne voyait pas la masse de l’humanité, ou ce que, vivant goulûment, quoique sans bonheur, elle affectait de ne pas voir.

Mais, pour moi, les annales de la Terre m’avaient appris à attendre la ruine la plus complète comme prix de la plus haute civilisation. »

Poe voit l'horreur monter sur la terre (Lovecraft reprendra cette vision). L'industrie rime avec maladie physique :

« Cependant d’innombrables cités s’élevèrent, énormes et fumeuses. Les vertes feuilles se recroquevillèrent devant la chaude haleine des fourneaux. Le beau visage de la Nature fut déformé comme par les ravages de quelque dégoûtante maladie. »

C’est dans l’impeccable Colloque de Monos et Una.

Spengler explique même Guénon et la mode traditionnelle-traditionnelle de cette époque dans des termes encore ironiques :

« L'occultisme et le spiritisme, les philosophies indoues, la curiosité métaphysique sous le manteau chrétien ou païen, qui tous étaient objet de mépris à l’époque de Darwin, voient aujourd'hui leur renouveau. C'est l'esprit de Rome au siècle d'Auguste. Dégoûtés de la vie, les hommes fuient la civilisation et cherchent refuge dans des pays où subsistent une vie et des conditions primitives, dans le vagabondage, dans le suicide. »

Mais si le blanc peut se payer le luxe de l’écologie et du rejet des machines (encore que…) il n’en est pas de même des autres peuples qui souhaitent à leur tour décrocher la timbale du progrès :

« Du coup, les «indigènes » purent pénétrer rapidement nos secrets; ils les comprirent, les utilisèrent à plein rendement. En trente ans, les Japonais devinrent des techniciens de premier ordre : dans leur guerre contre la Russie, ils révélèrent une supériorité technique dont leurs professeurs surent tirer maintes conclusions. »

Marx avait parlé du grand remplacement du yankee par trois chinois ; on y est :

« Aujourd'hui, et presque partout, en Extrême Orient, aux Indes, en Amérique du Sud, en Afrique du Sud, des régions industrielles existent. Ou sont en passe d'exister, qui, grâce au bas niveau des salaires, vont nous mettre en face d'une concurrence mortelle. Les PRIVILÈGES intangibles des races blanches ont été éparpillés au hasard, gaspillés, divulgués. Les non-initiés ont rattrapé leurs initiateurs. »

Le blanc voit sa place menacée donc (on le voit cent ans plus tard, rien de nouveau sous le soleil) :

« Peut-être même les ont-ils dépassés, grâce à l'alliage qu’ils ont réalisé entre la ruse de l « indigène et la grande maturité intellectuelle atavique de leurs très anciennes civilisations. Partout où il y a du charbon, du pétrole ou de la houille blanche, une arme nouvelle peut être forgée, pointée contre le sur même de la Civilisation Faustienne. Le monde exploité est en passe de prendre sa revanche sur ses seigneurs. »

Autre prédiction légèrement apocalyptique et mélodramatique :

« Les multitudes innombrables des races de couleur aux mains aussi capables, mais beaucoup moins exigeantes anéantiront l'organisation économique des Blancs jusque dans ses fondements vitaux. Le luxe aujourd'hui HABITUEL dont bénéficie, par rapport au coolie, le travailleur blanc sera sa perte. »

Sur les prédictions je persiste : personne ne s’est moins trompé que l’australien Charles Pearson. Il a vu comme Nietzsche arriver sur le monde et se maintenir solidement. Il a écrit qu’au fardeau de l’homme blanc sauce Kipling succédait celui de la personnalité (National Life and Character, III). Les autres, même (surtout en fait) des génies comme Spengler, ont une tendance à la grandiloquence tragique-historique :

Au moins je rejoins Spengler sur cette splendide envolée :

« Confrontés comme nous le sommes à cette destinée, un seul parti pris vital est digne de nous, celui qui a déjà été mentionné sous le nom du choix d'Achille » : mieux vaut une vie brève, pleine d'action et d'éclat, plutôt qu'une existence prolongée, mais vide. Déjà le péril est si pressant, pour chaque individu, chaque classe, chaque peuple, que vouloir se berner encore d'une illusion quelconque est lamentable. Le Temps ne permet pas qu'on l'arrête. Le pusillanime retour en arrière, comme le précautionneux renoncement, sont exclus. Seuls les mythomanes croient encore qu'il reste une issue possible. L'espérance est lâcheté. »

La vérité de ce monde c’est la mort murmure Céline en pleine dépression newyorkaise.

The planets data analysis proves it-let's explain how this method works

Example No. (1)

The moon daily displacement =88000 km and during 29.53 days, the displacements total be = 2.598 million km = 2π x 413600 km

The data tells the moon orbital apogee radius should be 413600 km and the moon must revolve around the Earth through this orbit (413600 km) along month and can't revolve around the Earth through any more near orbit!

Not Facts because -the moon orbital apogee radius =406000 km and the moon revolves through more near orbits and reaches to the perigee radius (363000 km)! 

How Can The Moon Do That? The intelligent moon creates an angle (θ) between its motion direction and its orbit by that the real displacement (L) through the orbit be (L = 88000 km cos θ), that causes the real displacements total be less than (2.598 million km) and enables the moon apogee to be decreased from 413600 km to 406000 km-

The physics book tells the sun rays are created by the sun nuclear fusion- I refuse that

My theory tells – The Sun Rays Are Created By The Planets Motions Energies Total- The Sun Is Not Doing Nuclear Fusion To Produce Its Rays

Instead the planets motions energies total is used as the source of energy for the sun rays- means- the planets were found and revolving around a point in space and the sun is created later on this point of space- No planet moves by the sun gravity- also the sun doesn't create a gravitational field and the gravitational waves are produced by the planets motions energies-  

That explains why the sun corona temperature is (5 million Kelvin) but the sun surface is 5800 Kelvin!? Because the energy is Not produced by the nuclear fusion but by the planets motions energies total –means- the energy is Not come from the sun mass to out but the energy is sent from the out into the sun mass- by that the corona temperature is the energy from which the sun surface temperature is created.

The planets waves (the gravitational waves) are unified into one unified wave and this wave moves relative to the sun

That tells, if this motion moves in (x axis negative "-x ") that will cause Neptune diameter to be changed or perished

Means- the matter creation needs a motion in A Defined Direction

Why Can't The matter (creature) Moves Toward Its Past?

The previous idea is correct- but –the velocity 300000 km/s is a huge one and to decrease it to Zero velocity this is a complex process– for that- the wave (300000 km/s) created small waves with low velocities to use them as steps to decrease the velocity to Zero- the small waves are The Planets- (The planet is a small wave moves by low velocity relative to the original wave its velocity 300000 km/s) 

Why Are These Small Waves Required?

Because the velocity 300000 km/s is decreased to Zero by using these small waves and their low velocities- the low velocities are used as steps to decrease the unified wave velocity (300000 km/s) to be (Zero)- this process decreases the velocity gradually from 300000 km/s to Zero depending on these small waves velocities (the planets velocities)  

Means- the planets are created for this process to decrease the wave velocity from 300000 km/s to Zero- and The Planet Is A Small Wave Moves By Low Velocity

Why does the data use the squared value (205.8)^2?

We know the answer- but - Let's remember it

The planets are geometrical points on the same light beam and move with its motion- for that- the planets velocities rates creates rates of time– for example-  Mercury velocity = 1.6 the Earth velocity- that means – one hour of Mercury clock = 1.6 hours of the Earth clock- Why??

Because Mercury and the Earth are carried by the same one light beam- the light moves one motion and passes one distance in one period of time- by that Mercury and the Earth have to move this same motion and to pass this same distance in this same period of time- but the two planets velocities are different- for that- the planets use different rates of time based on their velocities rates and by that the planets move equal distances in the same period of time –

75 years ago, the NATO "Defensive" alliance was created to counter a perceived fear of communist expansion into Europe. Résumé : Sakura entendit la porte s’ouvrir et des pas se diriger vers le salon. Elle reconnut immédiatement Sasuke. Elle ouvrit les yeux. Il avait allumé la lumière.

« Sakura ? Qu’est-ce que tu fais dans le noir ?

-J’essaye d’oublier cette journée. »

Sakura ouvrit la porte de son appartement et entra. Toutes les lumières étaient éteintes. Sarada et Sasuke n'étaient pas encore rentrés. Elle se déchaussa et, sans allumer la lumière, se dirigea vers le salon et s'assit dans le canapé. Seules les lumières du village éclairaient l'appartement. Mais elle se moquait de rester dans la nuit. Elle n'était pas d'humeur à faire comme si tout allait bien. Sa journée avait été épouvantable. Elle avait l’impression que tout et tout le monde était contre elle.

Un scanner était tombé en panne. Elle avait dû supporter les réclamations et les égos surdimensionnés de deux collègues qui étaient en désaccord sur le traitement d’un patient. Naruto n’avait pas pu la recevoir pour signer les papiers pour l’acquisition d’une nouvelle machine. Et elle avait dû confier l’opération qu’elle devait pratiquer à un collègue parce qu’elle avait trop de papier à remplir. Toute cette journée lui avait donné mal à la tête. Elle adorait son métier, mais diriger un hôpital n’était pas tous les jours facile.

Elle s’assit lourdement dans le canapé et soupira bruyamment. Elle était bien contente que cette journée soit enfin terminée. Elle ferma les yeux et se concentrera sur sa respiration pour essayer de se détendre. Elle entendit la porte s’ouvrir et des pas se diriger vers le salon. Elle reconnut immédiatement Sasuke. Elle ouvrit les yeux. Il avait allumé la lumière.

« Sakura ? Qu’est-ce que tu fais dans le noir ?

-J’essaye d’oublier cette journée. »

Il s’avança vers le canapé et s’accroupit devant elle. Il lui prit la main et entremêla ses doigts avec les siens.

« Ça s’est mal passé ?

-Seulement les problèmes habituels de l’hôpital. »

Sasuke embrassa le dos de sa main pour la réconforter. Il s’assit près d’elle, se cala dans le fond du canapé et la prit dans ses bras. Sakura ferma les yeux et se blottit contre lui.

« La journée est terminée, essaye de te détendre. »

Le mémorial Arasaka : Lieu d’une mémoire du terrorisme anti-capitaliste ?

La mémoire et le passé sont des pierres angulaires de l’Histoire. Les événements marquants participent à la création puis à l'entretien d’une mémoire commune qui est transmise. Une des manières de transmettre ce passé est l'édification de monuments et autres structures mémorielles. En France, le paysage mémoriel est souvent lié aux monuments aux morts ponctuant nos villages et nos villes. Et à raison : se souvenir des conflits et de celles et ceux qui ont perdu la vie lors de guerres est essentiel.

On peut noter les monuments édifiés pour entretenir la mémoire d’une personne, d’une période, d’une idée et tant d’autres. 

Se souvenir du passé est une des façons de constituer une mémoire collective qui peut avoir pour vocation de rassembler et d'instruire. Confronter le passé, parfois tourmenté, peut constituer une des motivations pour construire un espace mémoriel. 

Cependant, la mémoire est constituée d’archives écrites, de photographies, de témoignages (oraux ou écrits), d'œuvres d’art. En effet, ce n’est pas simplement une notion de souvenir en terme "médical". 

Un des jeux qui m’a le plus marqué ces dernières années est Cyberpunk 2077 (développé par CD Projekt, annoncé en 2012 et sorti en 2020). L’univers visuellement dense et hautement dystopique de Night City me rappelle le futur terne que Blade Runner donnait à voir au cinéma. On y retrouve les bâtiments si imposants qu’ils masquent le ciel pollué qui tente de surplomber la ville. On y aperçoit la pauvreté, le désarroi des habitants, la drogue et le crime.

L’univers de Cyberpunk 2077 est inspiré du jeu de rôle papier Cyberpunk, sorti en 1988. Le jeu vidéo se déroule près de cinquante ans après. Il pose les règles de ce monde avec ses différentes “classes de personnages” (Rockerboy, Cop, Nomad, Netrunner, Solo…) que l’on retrouve dans le jeu vidéo. 

Pour la lecture de ce billet de blog, je vous invite à écouter en même temps cette compilation de la musique de l'extension de Cyberpunk 2077, intitulée Phantom Liberty qui, je l’espère, vous plongera un peu plus dans cette ambiance. 

Quelques éléments de contexte historique

Les ruelles sinueuses, les avenues bondées, les clubs, les grattes-ciels de Night City sont des témoins de l’histoire politique et économique de cette ville née de la volonté d’un homme. Les avancées technologiques puissantes ont servi de moteur pour mener la ville sur des sommets étourdissants. Night City, située sur la côte Ouest des Etats-Unis, est un des nombreux rouages dans la machine infernale des Guerres des Corporations.

“Les trois premières Guerres des corporations, menées entre 1990 et 2016, ont consolidé la position des mégacorporations, leur conférant plus d’autorité qu’à la plupart des gouvernements mondiaux - et les Etats-Unis ne faisaient pas exception. [...] un coup d’etat institué par le Gang des Quatre - une coalition d’agences gouvernementales - mis un terme à la démocratie fédérale. De nombreux Etats firent sécession et se déclarèrent “Etats libres”.” (p.10) 

La Quatrième Guerre des corporations éclata entre deux corporations oeuvrant dans les océans au cours de l'année 2021. Avec l'accélération du conflit, des entreprises militarisées furent employées pour faire pencher la balance de leur côté. L’économie mondiale et les relations entre les corporations entraînent une suite de conflits sur le Net, sur l’économie et s'imputent à l'échelle de villes et même d'États. (p.14) Le Net fut grandement touché et menaçait de s'effondrer tant les menaces numériques étaient travaillées et nombreuses. Ce “Net” est une version beaucoup plus puissante de notre Internet actuel. Témoin des aspirations carriéristes et transformatrices des entreprises, le Net est un outil qui se révèle fatal pour beaucoup. 

Deux des corporations les plus influentes de ce conflit furent Militech (corporation américaine) et Arasaka (corporation japonaise). Très vite, les Etats et des villes influentes se rendirent compte de l’implication néfaste de ces entités aux moyens militaires et techniques gargantuesques sur la guerre.

Night City, fondée par M. Richard City en 1994, incarne la ville d’un futur où technologies et corporations font partie du quotidien toujours plus dense de ses habitants. La ville, située à la frontière de l’Etat libre de la Californie du Sud et la Californie du Nord abrite les sièges de megacorporations car ses avantages fiscaux en font une mine d’opportunités pour ceux qui souhaiteraient s’y installer. Cependant, Richard Night fut mystérieusement assassiné et dès lors, la ville sombra dans une période où criminalité rime avec corporations. Même le NCPD (Night City Police Department) reste impuissant et parfois même passif.

En effet, la ville est un aimant pour de telles entreprises car l’unification des Nouveaux Etats-Unis, sous l’égide de la présidente Rosalind Myers en 2069 a agrandi et garanti l’attrait pour Night City. C'est alors une “Ville internationale libre, indépendante des lois et de la gouvernance de l’Etat libre de Californie du Nord et des Nouveaux Etats-Unis.” (p.23).

Informations clés sur Arasaka 

Maintenant que les gros points majeurs ont été présentés, concentrons nous sur Arasaka et le pourquoi du comment nous allons évoquer un mémorial.

Arasaka est une corporation japonaise, fondée au début du XXème siècle et toujours dirigée par la famille Arasaka en 2077. Cette entreprise est connue et reconnue pour ses innovations concernant le matériel militaire haute technologie, offrant des avancées de taille lors de combats. Elle s’est aussi particulièrement investie dans le domaine industriel et bancaire. Plusieurs missions effectuées par V (personnage incarné par le joueur dans Cyberpunk 2077) touchent de près et de loin à Arasaka. Au cours du jeu, on rencontre nombre de figures de la famille et de l'entreprise. Chacun vient illustrer un aspect que le pouvoir peut avoir sur une personne.

En août 2023, alors que l’influence d’Arasaka et Militech déclinait sous les accusations liées à la Quatrième Guerre des corporations, Johnny Silverhand, membre du groupe “Samouraï”, en profite pour attaquer le siège d’Arasaka.

Le Rockerboy est accompagné de Rogue Amendiares (dont j'ai glissé une interview ci-dessous), Morgan Blackhand, Spider Murphy, Lyle Thomson et Shaitan. Johnny Silverhand, motivé par sa volonté de se venger de la megacorporation à des fins personnelles, a détonné une bombe nucléaire portative (rien que ça) avant de disparaître au sein des débris de l’immense tour. Il fut ensuite déclaré mort mais il est en fait capturé et tué par Arasaka. Et tout cela avant d’être sujet à une de leurs expérimentations : la Relic. Je n’en révèlerai guère plus concernant cette technologie de pointe car c’est ici que réside l’histoire du jeu.

Néanmoins, on apprends dans les médias de Night City qu'environ 12,000 personnes on trouvé la mort lors de cet attentat, et que près de 2 milliards d'eurodollars de dégâts on été causés. Johnny lui-même dira ceci : "On aurait pu faire autrement. Mais ils avaient Alt. Et moi j’étais trop con pour écouter les autres."

Que pensez-vous du retour de ce style Cyberpunk ?

Ces crêtes roses et ces fringues en faux cuir que portent les mêmes de nos jours… c’est surtout de l’imitation. Oui, à l’époque on se rebellait, mais on se rebellait pour une cause. Ce qu’on voulait, c’est résister à un ordre dicté par les corporations, défier l’autorité, mais avec du style. Vivre à la marge, avec un M majuscule. Il fallait être là où était l’action, être l’action. faire quelque chose de gros et y aller sans filet. Les jeunes d’aujourd’hui n’ont pas la vision et le cran de faire de grandes choses.

Comme l’attaque des tours Arasaka en 2023 ? Est-il vrai que vous y avez participé ? 

[Brève pause] Bien tenté, gamin. Tu n’es pas le premier journaleux à me poser cette question, et tu ne seras pas le premier à obtenir une réponse. [rires]

Le centre mémoriel Arasaka

Dans mes précédents articles, je met en avant l’importance des objets, lieux et bâtiments dans lesquels les personnages évoluent. Ces mondes fictifs sont portés par une cohérence dans leur histoire narrative qui n’est pas forcément évoquée à travers des mots. Cet article ne présente pas seulement une entreprise comme j’ai pu le faire pour Aperture Science, mais présente un mémorial réalisé suite à l’action terroriste de Johnny Silverhand.

Memorial Park est situé dans le quartier prisé de Corpo Plaza. D’immenses grattes-ciels ponctuent les hautes cimes du quartier, un jardin circulaire quasiment vide trône au centre. Si ce n'est que quelques arbres qui se battent en duels et des bancs en béton qui se c��toient, on retrouve peu de coeur à cette place gigantesque.

C’est ici qu’on retrouve les sièges de grandes corporations comme Petrochem, et notamment Militech et d’Arasaka. Sur ces trottoirs déambulent des hommes et des femmes vêtus des costumes et tenues les plus chers pour impressionner leurs collègues et leurs riches clients.

L’ensemble de la structure mémorielle repose sur les ruines des tours détruites en 2023 qui restent visibles grâce à une série de baies vitrées. Le bâtiment mémoriel ne possède pas réellement de muséographie car son objectif ne réside pas dans la transmission de la mémoire de ceux qui sont morts. Le mémorial est en effet consacré à la préservation de ces débris qui racontent d’eux même l’étendu des dégâts et des pertes humaines de cet acte. C’est avant tout un outil de propagande réalisé par la megacorporation elle-même. Les victimes sont évoquées au détour d’une salle fermée par un code où, lorsque l’on y pénètre, on peut lire une liste de prénoms et de noms. 

Quant à l’extérieur du mémorial, il est axé sur d’imposantes structures symétriques en béton qui siègent sur le parvis du bâtiment. Quelques personnes s’y retrouvent pour porter hommage aux victimes en y laissant parfois des bougies. On peut voir des moines qui viennent se recueillir mais aussi un couple qui se prend en photo devant ces imposantes stèles commémoratives. 

Habituellement, ce genre de structure mémorielle est intimement liée à un appel d’offre et la vision d’un artiste se confond avec l’objectif historique. Dans le cas du mémorial Arasaka, il n’en est pas explicitement question. Si l’on suit les règles dystopiques de Night City, ville façonnée par la politique, l’argent, le mensonge, ce lieu n’a pas la vocation d’être un témoignage d’un passé commun. Le message est le suivant : Arasaka n’oublie pas, Arasaka perdure et ceux qui sont morts ici sont à moitié oubliés. C’est l’entreprise qui est au centre de la mémoire, et non les victimes.

There's like a two minute scene between Data and Geordi and it is beautiful and fundamental to their friendship and I hate that it's stuck here. Data has already told over 600 jokes to Geordi in an attempt to be funny. It is episode 4. I love them.

Jean-Luc "the speech machine" Picard starts going into speech mode, then goes "ah but I shouldn't bore you all with my rambling"

The Last Outpost

Okay Picard is so funny to me because he's a huge jerk but also randomly extremely patriotic about France, like Data calls French an obscure language and Picard is immediately like "the fuck did you just say" and later someone mentions the US flag colors and Picard's all "well they're nice color, but you know who really put them in the correct order? The French" and this is all very funny. But. It gets extra funny when you remember that Picard can't pronounce his own name correctly. Like, the n in Jean isn't pronounced, the d in Picard isn't pronounced and Luc isn't Luke.

I love the demeanor of the Ferengi

I love how the Ferengi call out Picard for his "all civilized people know the Federation" bullshit like dude your job is literally to meet new civilizations did you read the job description??? They don't know you that's what new means???

I love the planet, it's so eery and looks so real (I'm damaged from years of watching greenscreen and those weird round hd screen room thingies I'm just grateful for some papier mâché rocks.)

Maybe it's residual Faust trauma but I love how the Ferengi kinda swarm the Portal guy like some little devils, they're great. And I love how Riker squats down like the attacking Ferengi do, in like a "if that's what passes for threatening with them I'll do that, maybe that'll intimidate them" way. Obviously that didn't work out but it's a neat way of showing how quick he thinks.

In general I really like early TNG's attempts at portraying other civilizations that are similarly powerful as the Federation is, just in different fields, which is how the Ferengi and the Ligonians in Code of Honor are introduced. Of course the latter sucks, but in principle I like the idea that these guys are just more medically advanced than the Federation. And maybe the Ferengi don't have ships quite as fast as ours, but their whips sure beat our phasers!

Gotta say I had a hard time figuring out which one was Armin Shimerman, but the fact that he is here explains how we retained the hew-mon pronounciation in DS9.

Honestly, I feel kinda let down that DS9 turned the Ferengi from this alleged peer to the Federation into, well, the DS9 Ferengi. I love them for what they are, but I can't help but wonder what could have been...

The window in the background when Picard and Riker talk options is dirty and it adds so much. Like, I get that clean and tidy and hotel lobby is kind of TNG's whole aesthetic, but this one dirty window just has that Star Wars lived-in-world charm.

Love the part where the Portal almost takes off Riker's head.
