If I ever wrote a Renee fic it'd be that somehow, despite everything, she just never heard the term wingman until she was in college and does not know the actual definition of the word.

Due to this and due to the lens that she views things through she misunderstands it to be a Christian Thing (tm) since she thinks it has to do with Angels. So she believes it is her Christian duty to wingman as hard as humanly possible for Andrew and his big gay crush on the new kid (Neil).

i feel like if aftg were real and after andrew goes pro there would definitely be twitter threads with people being like "why you shouldn't support andrew minyard:" and the first post would be something like "he threatened a waiter" or "he called my wife a bitch when we were at a bar" etc etc i just think andrew would definitely be one of those celebrities that so many people have horror stories about

nicky to andreils 3yo: all you do is say “trick or treat”, and guess what they do!

kid: what?

nicky: THEY GIVE YOU CANDY!

andrew: nicky..

nicky: and then you go to the next house and guess what they do????

nicky: THEY GIVE YOU MORE CANDY!!

kid: who is just as obsessed with sweets as andrew is, looks at andrew sitting on the sofa with the biggest smile ever

kid: i want it, i want it, dad i wanna do halloween!! i want candy! can we do it??

Quite a lot of aftg characters have biblical names (Andrew Joseph, Aaron Michael, Abram, Nicholas, Mary, Matthew, David, etc)

Anyway, Andrew and Neil's kid Joseph(ine) and Eventual Second Child both have biblical names. I imagine that whenever a stranger comments on the theme, they get the blankest looks because neither Andrew or Neil chose based on religion and absolutely Do Not care.

In my brain whenever I see a particularly ‘good’* Andrew fan art, I still go ‘Anshew!!’ Like a baby in my brain.

*the art just makes me go ‘oh. That’s Andrew.’

(Context, my baby cousin called her moms ex-boyfriend this cause she could not say Andrew.)

Everyday I find myself greatful to have converted my friend to have an aftg andriel plagued brain like me because look at what he texted me today

“I dreamt of Andrew giving birth to worm children and then they visited Neils father and mother (she was snooty and the pops was very elongated..?) to take care of the kids and that was very scary AND they had many televisions and an anti-bird rule and then THEY ESCAPED THROUGH THE WOODS Neil brought Andrew on a romantic sleigh ride (there were lovey Dovey writings on the board) and of course Andrew was somewhat insulted but then he was happy and they kissed”

andreil being parents is so... insane to me because. imagine living your entire life struggling to survive and finally finding your footing. and after a long career in the sport you love you decide to give your lives together a new purpose. and you raise children that will only know turmoil like yours through stories. you raise children that don't flinch like you do. you raise children who will only know love in your house even though you've never been shown it yourself. you raise children who will never have to cling to life-or-death passion like you had to. you discover you are capable of unconditional love even if you had to fight for yours.

i know you don’t draw them often or that they get a lot of development, but i wanted you to know, i would die for maya and ollie (and milo, but like he’s got a whole fic and stuff so he’s disqualified, but still loved) thank you 🩵

I would say Oliver and Maya both have development but it’s just not to the extent that Milo has because they weren’t made for fics🤔

But I’m so happy yall love them too and I really do want to draw them more I swear

Also here’s a wip I finished quickly for yall cuz of this :)

Oliver is clearly the superior artist because he got the basic shapes of his parents correct; Circle dad and Pencil dad

Milo always signs his name as MJ :)

He also struggles to color inside the lines

Oliver colors like he’s using the blood of his enemies

He also calls both of them dad but he learned their nicknames before he called either of them dad (Oliver really assumed their names were Drew and Rabbit)

Also it’s not obvious but Oliver did not draw them with armbands because his andreil don’t wear them anymore (only when it’s cold cuz scars sometimes ache in bad weather)

Maya has some ocd tendencies because she would have a meltdown if the coloring went outside the lines

Maya also knows to sign her name date and time for her drawings

Some fun facts:

- Oliver likes lavenders (flowers)

- Oliver started off very closed off and shy but as soon as he was comfortable, he was a menace

- Oliver’s birth mother was a drug addict

- Maya likes bitter things

- Maya doesn’t enjoy lots of physical contact unless it’s firm (which is not a problem from the Foxes/Andreil)

- Maya’s favorite cartoon growing up was My Little Pony but she wasn’t very enthusiastic about it

- Milo’s favorite sport (exy is top three) is baseball which he played in high school alongside exy

- Milo likes songs about love

- Milo became obsessed with Lucky Charms after Andrew introduced them to him

going into the foxhole court i knew andreil would become canon but not how… in the raven king i legitimately thought they would get together when they went to nicky’s that weekend because nicky’s parents would be homophobic and andrew would get mad and start making out with neil in front of them
