An opulent outfit of pure white stood out as it draped on a person in front of a mirror. The hands that caressed it's folds and seams trembled a bit as they tried to calculate the numbers that must have cost to come up with such an intricate piece of clothing. Their face, flushed with a tint of bashfulness, looked like an angel on earth. The way their aura and pure look awed the man sitting on his desk, his eyes ravaging on their form, pure hunger in them.

"You look absolutely stunning, love." His deep voice rang around the dark and dreary office room. "An angel, sent to me, and only me."

His fingers twitched slightly as he grabbed his churchwarden pipe, inhaling a drag and exhaling out the grey, slightly purple smoke that smelled of lavender and mint.

"What do you think? I had to pull quite the strings just to get that dress made." Rowan chuckled a bit. "What did the designer said again? Ah, the sheen on the outfit is apparently crushed pearls and opal."

He had a hard time convincing the dressmaker, but it's nothing a few... Threats won't do.

"It's beautiful..." Your voice let out an airy response, still at awe at how the dress looked good on you.

As you twirled around the mirror that witnessed different sides of your relationship, Rowan observed your form.

He always loved how you stand out of the dark office. You, and your pureness was something he craved, wanted, obsesses with.

Authentic. Uncontaminated.

In his eyes, you were something unattainable, something so holy that he shouldn't dare to even lay his bloodied hands on you.

But he dared to, and he wants to paint your white dress with his red and blacks. His blood, sweat, and tears on your body so soft and refined it's almost too daunting to glance at. He wants to sink his teeth on your untainted flesh.

"Come here, love." Rowan stretched his hand to you and you walked up to him. He whirled you around and made you sit on his lap, resting his chin on your exposed shoulder. His lips, dauntingly pressing against your neck, threatened to place salacious marks of belonging.

That you are only his.

"Stay on my lap, love. I want you close to me as I work." He whispered, his breath hot on your ear as he started to work on his papers.

You only nodded, flushed from head to toe as you tried to focus on something other than him.

You could feel his hardened body, his calm heartbeats, and his deep exhales and inhales as if he was taking in your scent and ingraining it in your mind.

The necklace he bought you before was hanging on his monitor, taken off earlier in order for you to wear the dress much easier.

Were you bored out of your mind? Absolutely. But can you really do anything other than obey the man that spent so much money on you that you swore it can almost make you live up to your 70's without worrying about money and inflation? If you're a brat, probably.

But your nice and innocent nature didn't dare to.

"You know, you can search up things you want to buy, love. If you're bored, at least." Rowan suggested, urging, coaxing. It was weird how he's so adamant at making you spend his money, like it was a weird fetish he had.

You aren't wrong.

You were like an unspoken prayer on his lips, a saint on his sinful tongue he wishes to pleasure and please.

At first, you were always rejecting the idea of spending his money just because you're bored.

But now you didn't even shrug as you daintily grabbed his phone and typed out your birthday as his password and went to an online shop of your liking.

Oh, how he shivered at the sight.

You're tainted with his colors.

His red and blacks.

His greed.

Now, he just wishes for you to get so greedy you wanted more of this relationship.

If not, his efforts of isolating you slowly from your family and friends will be all for naught. And he doesn't like it if his efforts are wasted.

Your fingers hovered over his gallery as you finished your shopping, and you were so tempted.

Usually, he doesn't like it if you try to look at his gallery. It's as if it was totally forbidden to look at it.

But you can't contain your overwhelming (Greedy) curiosity.

So, with a slight twist of your torso, covering the phone, you opened the gallery.

Rowan smirked as he knew what you did, no matter how much you try to hide it.

And as your gasps of fear and shock filled his ears, he chuckled and placed a lustful kiss on your neck. You took the bait.

"Did you like the candid photos of you in your home, love? I especially love the photos of you in your apron." His tongue, the work of the devil, trailed along your jaw as he kissed it. "If you wanted, you could cook for me. Just staying in our home as I shower you with affection and money. And you can just devote yourself to me. As I to you."

Your lips trembled at the suggestion. You wanted to say no. You really do.

You should be creeped out by how he took these photos. It looked like spy cameras. You really should.

But do you, really? But should you, really?

It was so tempting. Like an oasis in the middle of the desert, and you, the unfortunate person to see the mirage and think of it as a haven to rest your weary form on, and not a trap set to ensnare you for life.

And, as your mouth opened to reply, Rowan's lopsided smirk appeared on his devilishly handsome face.

Most of what you’re wearing was probably bought by Valeria since she’s supportive like that. Whenever she sees something you might like, she’ll buy it for you, whether that be online or in a store she just so happened to walk by. The vendors likely know her by then since she does, more often than not, go out of her way to find something you might like. And when she’s operating internationally? She’ll find the fanciest clothing out there and buy it for you. And if they don’t have it in your size for whatever reason she’ll have it tailored, anything for her beloved little spouse. You don’t need to lift a finger in order to get something nice you might want.

However, if you do want to, then you can. She’s more than happy to go outside with you and look for some lovely dresses, jewelry and whatnot. Her sense of fashion isn’t that bad either, so she can advise you perfectly fine. She knows her colors and how well they would go with your skin color, your eyes and any other accessories you might want to wear. But don’t always force her to go outside just for clothes shopping, sometimes she just wants to stay inside, unwind and maybe take a nap. During those times you might not want to drag her outside too much, because no matter how much you sass her, she will always sass you back twice as bad. She also has the advantage of being very threatening when she wants to be, so don’t annoy her too much.

Valeria has quite the amount of jewelry herself, from brooches with sapphires in them, to earrings with genuine amethysts. Whatever you want, she likely has some variation of it. Since she started her business, she doesn’t always have the time to wear everything anymore, but you’re more than welcome to take whatever you want in this case. If she’s home, you might want to tell her, though, so she won’t start wondering where her necklace of real pearls has gone. As long as you return it to her, everything is alright, though. She’ll give you everything but one item in her possession: It’s a silver necklace with a locket. It doesn’t have a picture in it or anything, but it holds sentimental value to her. If you take it she’ll yell at you, but everything else is fair game.

Valeria doesn’t really wear makeup herself, she’ll just look stupid when it starts getting runny as she’s sweating. Besides, she’s here to fuck things up, not to look pretty. Valeria is a businesswoman, which means she won’t do much paperwork, that’s for her lackeys, but instead she’ll kick ass if she needs to. Therefore, she doesn’t know too much about makeup, so you’ll have to tell her what she needs to look out for and what may look good on you. While she may know which clothing looks good on you, she’s a bit lost with makeup. If you tell her what you want, then she’ll get it for you, but she might not always go out of her way to buy some new mascara, eyeshadow or blush for you. Again, you’re better off just telling her.

As for heels and hair: You can get your hair done however you want to. While she may not particularly be helpful in that regard, aside from paying for your visits at the hairdresser, she doesn’t have the time to learn how to do your hair either. She can braid it if you want, in a simple manner, but it doesn’t really go beyond that. Heels, though, she’ll look out for what she can find. In fact, if it’s your cup of tea, she might get you a matching purse while she’s at it as well.

Again, as mentioned previously, if I were you, I wouldn’t give her too much attitude, she knows how to deal with people like that. She sees something like that as a challenge, you sass her, she’ll put you in place. She’ll be far from violent, but your cocky behavior needs to be toned down a bit, especially when she’s tired. You’ll do as she says eventually, no matter how long you resist. And when you do finally listen to her? She’ll smirk and call you out on it. It’s a game to her, and she always wins in the end. Whether she needs to trap you between the wall and her, holding your face between her thumb and index finger to guide it, or revoke any and all rights for kisses until you’re desperate for one doesn’t matter, she’ll get her way eventually.

hi lovely !! thank you so much omg and of course it’s okay to ask :-) honestly happy to share anything i can when it comes to styling stuff lol but yes !!

i’ve had a lot of my jewellery for years tbh and if i’m honest and a lot of it is secondhand ! i’m lucky to have lots of charity shops/vintage stores in the area i live/work so i always like to nosy what there is whenever I can, i really recommend if you’ve got any secondhand stores near you to never miss the jewellery section, often it’s not a lot of stuff but you can find some beautiful stuff sometimes !! if you’re able to too, if you go to an area that’s got a lot of like.. rich people living in it (lol) check out the secondhand stores there ! because i’ve found charity shops in areas with more people with money usually have more jewellery than other charity shops idk ! but also there’s online too like vinted/ebay/depop/etsy - just of course have an idea what you’re looking for and use the search tools to really narrow it all down !

i do buy new quite a bit with jewellery though, some of my favourite places to get them is regal rose (i usually wait for them to do a sale though unless it’s something i know i realllllyyy want), livia wednesday (everything is handmade and so beautiful ! because it’s handmade it is a bit more expensive but in my opinion it’s totally worth it.. i’ve got quite a bit from her and i’ve never personally had any issues !! easily my favourite place to get jewellery with pearls and whatnot hehe), i’ve also got a bunch of things from mysticum luna before (i haven’t so much these days because their recent collections haven’t quite been for me but i do still love the things i have and really recommend them !!), and for cheaper stuff/costume jewellery i do like asos !! they’ve got sooo much stuff and i love the tool bars because it means you can really narrow down what you’re looking for which is helpful and doesn’t mean you’re scrolling for hours through thousands of products ..

another thing i do is buy charms and add them to my own chain or earring hoop !! charms are everywhere and usually pretty cheap, so if you get various chains of different lengths and thicknesses or pearl beads or whatever you’re wanting, you can add the charms to them (i find them a lot in charity shops too and they’re always like £1 or something super cheap) - going off this too i like to move my jewellery about, like today for example i have a locket with a skull on and i changed it’s chain to a shorter one so then it can be stacked different with another necklace than what i usually do y’know ? it just means i don’t always have to do the same stack of necklaces every time, i can change them about to work with my outfit easy too and it keeps it all a bit more fresh looking i suppose !

oh and see if your parents/grandparents have any old jewellery they’d give you !! honestly you’d be surprised, i asked my dad not long ago and he gave me a lot of old rings from dead relatives i had never met and some then random but very cute bracelets hehe :-) and if there’s anything you don’t really want anymore see if any of your friends would wanna trade with you (same with clothes too if you have friends who are the same size and have the same style as you !)

for building up a collection honestly i’d say to just get pieces you know you’ll keep for a long time (hopefully forever !!) and getting pieces that you know you can wear with loads of different things etc if you get me ? like easy to dress up or down !! and of course make sure you look after your jewellery :-) i’m not sure what else i can suggest other than that i’m sorry !! but yeah i hope all of this was some help to you at least :-) take care <33 mwah mwah

Yes! So my first recommendation is to check our Wolf and Badger - loads of independent brands, always unique stuff. In particular, I have this top from there - I know the main top is black but the flower is a removable pin and you can put it on any top (would be beautiful on a simple champagne silk top from Theory or similar). It's really beautiful, I wore it to my work Christmas part last year and got loads of compliments.

My next recommendation would be going to Etsy and looking for pearl tops. They have loads of body chains / necklaces that you could layer over a simple silk top for a more extravagant look, from something more simple like this to more crazy, like this.

Then I've done a quick net a porter trawl and these two (big flower moment, more subtle peplum) stood out. On the more affordable end of the spectrum, this from Zara and this from & Other Stories might fit the bill! My last recommendation would be that you can never go wrong with a beautiful silk tank and then add the drama through big earrings, a bold necklace, or a special headpiece.

Collage curio cabinet

Another day, another awesome find! This miniature curio cabinet was £2. Part of the reason it was so cheap is probably because one of the handles is slightly broken (just missing the hanging part) but it's still perfectly usable.

Though I did think the paint job was quite pretty, it's not my style, so a repaint was in order. I used what I had to hand which was cheap black acrylic paint. Not ideal for furniture perhaps, but I'm happy enough with it. Also because I was lazy and didn't remove the old paint the doors are now very tight fitting and I can't close them properly. It's easy to fix, I can sand the top and bottom of each door down to the wood and then repaint them, but honestly I don't mind too much, and I can always do this in the future if not being able to close it gets on my nerves.

If the inside had been as red as its appearing in this pic I probably would have kept it like that, but the lighting must have been weird as it's exactly the same orange that you see in the first pic.

Any little charm or dangle would be good to replace the broken handle - I had this fake pearl teardrop in my collection from an old charm bracelet. I absolutely love how it looks, and it's actually way easier to grab hold of than the other handle, however unfortunately I've only got one of these pearl droplets so I can't remove the other handle to make them match just yet. This kind of thing pops up all the time in charity shops though, I'm sure I can find another charm bracelet or even better a pair of earrings that I could use.

The ring I've used to connect it is a hinged body piercing ring which I ordered online but was too small for me to comfortably wear, and I have a few so can use another when I need to.

I have a huge stack of scrapbooking paper from another similar project I did recently, so I cut two pieces of that using my paper guillotine to glue into the back.

I also have tons of interesting bits of paper and art left from that same project which I wanted to see if I could use. This is a 100% perfect spot for one of the anatomical drawings I have, as it looks like he's praying to the cthulhu candle I've put on top! (Paint inside still slightly wet here, i was impatiently trying bits out!)

I haven't yet decided what to do on the front of the doors. There's nothing in my collection of paper pieces that's really speaking to me right now. I think it would look really cool with some metallic bits stuck to the front but again, nothing in my collection that I like enough to glue on there, so I'm going to leave it as is for now and will add more in the future if/when I find some pieces that work. Here's how it looks for now after using mod podge on the doors and the back, though I think I'm probably going to go over the whole cupboard to help seal the paint. Apologies for terrible lighting.

Bonus piece: amongst my bits of paper I had a guide from a William Blake exhibition which contained this reproduction of one of the plates from The Marriage of Heaven and Hell. I really wanted to use it, but Blake is so important to me and the picture so perfect that I thought it warranted special treatment. Instead of using it in a collage with other pieces, I painted a small piece of board from a broken picture frame and stuck it to that, and made a little triangle out of some jewellery wire so I can hang it on my wall. It's extremely lightweight so although this is only taped down it shouldn't come unstuck.

My Eid outfit for the second day!

Ramadan ended sooner than anticipated and I literally had no clue Eid al-Fitr is beginning until the night before when Saudi Arabia sighted the crescent moon but I couldn't be more happy! Like most Muslims, I always feel a little sad when Ramadan comes to an end but I look forward to celebrating Eid with my family as well. For the second day, I was invited for an event and here's the outfit I've planned.

My 'overnight glowup'.

I use this method anytime I need to look good the next day, usually for an important outing. I ice my face to shrink those pores, hydrate my skin with various serums such as niacinamide, slather my face with tons of aloe vera gel and massage it into my skin, and I seal it all in with Dr. Jart's intensive mask. I also drink my beauty smoothie before bed (filled with collagen, biotin and hyaluronic acid), eye whitening drops, fish oil, 8 hours of quality sleep, pilates session and lots of stretching + posture exercises to look and feel my best the next day.

Modanisa Gilet Dress in Pink

Modanisa is a very popular online shop for Muslim women. In my experience, it can be a hit or miss, they sell a combination of different brands that vary hugely in terms of quality and price range but I have had positive experiences with this particular one. I love gilet dresses, they suit my body shape and essence quite nicely, they are elegant and the pink makes it very youthful and cute. I will wear this with a light pink hijab a few shades lighter than the dress and a white long sleeved shirt exactly like in the photo. I will complete the look with a pair of simple white sneakers. White sneakers + Nude stockings = Chef's kiss.

Longchamp Le Pliage Small in Cream

I am literally obsessed with Longchamp. I love it, it's my thing, let it go. I own many bags from the brand, they are quite versatile and even though this one looks rather small it fits a lot of things and looks good. I also really like that the bags are foldable and don't take up too much space. I am wearing this with a trench coat in the same color.

Rose Gold jewelry.

I am keeping it very minimalistic with jewelry. The Cartier Love bracelet in rose gold and some simple casual wear rings in rose gold as well. I will add a pair of pearl drop earrings and a rose gold watch. Jewelry makes me feel a million times more polished and I have this annoying habit of fidgeting with my rings to keep my hands busy.

Simple Makeup.

If I have one celebrity look alike it's probably Anya Taylor Joy (and Corpse Bride if that counts). I've lost count of the amount of times I was compared to a Tim Burton character and it's now time to embrace that about me. I like soft makeup looks and I think she looks very pretty here. I will do a natural look with an emphasis on glowy skin, some blush, dark cherry lips, inner eye highlight, eyeliner, shimmery eyeshadow with more dramatic lashes.
