To all the fellas having a problem with the diverse cast of the One Piece Live Action here’s a quick reminder that Oda has always been experimental with his character’s nationalities.

i've seen a fair bit of... pessimism about dorym lately, esp with the ep107, for example wondering if dorian's opposing views on the gods making orym fall out of love, and i have to say. i very highly doubt it, ur fr talking about the man who has held on to will for so long, holding onto will's family and affectionately calling this *his* family too because that didn't stop when will died. i dont think falling out of love is an option or even a thought to orym.
that said, we know that orym has contingencies for if anyone in bells hells crosses the line into being a version of themselves they would despise, for anyone who jeopardizes their mission. his mission. i think, for the first time since knowing dorian, orym finally has a contingency for him. the longer dorian is back, the more orym sees how scarred he is by what's happened (understandable so) and knows that dorian is with bells hells all the way. but if he isn't...

come on guys, the criticism that there aren't any girl characters in sonic 3 is not.. a criticism of them not introducing them in THIS movie. This is the third movie. There was a TV show. The SCU could've introduced a single female character earlier, but they didn't. They took the time to develop a cop, they spent the time talking about Sonic's backstory that's only ever used so the movie has one minute of character being sad. The Knuckles show was an empty void to be filled with literally anything, and they still didn't do it. There was time, the only female character is Maddie, who barely does anything because the plot focuses on her cop boyfriend. It's completely valid to criticize this and saying "they can't introduce another character in sonic 3 because there's other things to do" literally does nothing. Why would anyone defend a huge movie franchise having no female characters after all this time

Bluepoch gave us the gift of barely-subtext tragic sapphic-centric media do NOT throw that away.
Context regarding PJSK and Undertale under cut.
Project Sekai cast is dominated by female characters but mlm is more popular, meanwhile Undertale has canon wlw rep and oh my god they’re at the bottom. I have nothing against these fandoms or media (I’m literally currently/was in them) but yeah. I just HOPE r99 doesn’t end up in a similar state.

by far the worst take i've seen so far post-ep19 of Junior Year is that having a week-by-week live play would have allowed fans to essentially influence the direction of the story in the way they want it to go and that would have resulted in the cast being more sympathetic to the Ratgrinders (ie getting them a redemption arc)
why do you feel the need to try and control this story? YOU ARE NOT THE ONE TELLING IT. if you want to tell a story please go write your own, or go write fanfiction to cope or whatever but you don't get to say that the players are telling the story wrong when it's their story they are telling

my current theory is that PJO TV is gonna go the exact same route as the movies:
Movie/Season 1 - The writing is meh and is criticized alongside the heavy deviations from the original series. Some people are staunch believers that it is too harshly criticized for being a derivative series, and they're probably right to some degree. As a stand-alone media it's somewhat confusing without original context and generally received as Medium-At-Best, but not the worst thing ever.
Movie/Season 2 - The writers respond to criticism by making changes recommended by feedback to the first [season/movie]. These changes to be closer to the books are generally regarded favorably. The second [movie/season] is regarded with little fanfare. They solve too much way too early on and essentially kill any chance for them to continue the series, but set up a continuation anyways by introducing Thalia. They announce plans for the third [movie/season] and everyone is confused.
Movie/Season 3 - Is announced but never comes to fruition and everyone is kind of relieved by that. Also I personally hope Disney+ will be dead by this point. Maybe Netflix will pick it up to go with the TKC movies. I dunno.

Listen, I am happy to see Brennan take the DM seat, and I hope I've understood this incorrectly and we'll still get the main cast, but after seeing that guest list I believe there is simply no way they could fit all 8 main campaign characters + all of these people (amazing ppl by the way, truly nothing but love for them) at the table. And idk... I've started to get disappointed. Bc the thing is I love these characters, I love the Bells Hells, I love Sam's new character he JUST introduced, I love having Dorian with us again and cannot wait to see him deal with the repercussions of Cyrus' death. I love the Imogen and Laudna drama. I love whatever Fearne and Ashton got going on, I love Orym and his weird fey pact. I LOVE them.
And just... recently, I cannot shake the feeling that this is not their campaign. We JUST got them back from the Crownkeepers special episode. Before that, they've gotten separated for a pretty extensive period of time on opposite sides of Exandria. FCG just DIED. Yes, they have communication issues but I feel like that has to do, also, with the fact that every time it seems like they're finding some sort of groove, something like this happens. I get wanting to do something different and a trip to the past before Aeor collapsed IS really exciting, but it straight up feels lame and like they're trying to shove as many people into the table as possible when a major arc like this doesn't have the presence of the LITERAL main characters without them at least being separated again.
Also, don't think I don't see the bias from ya'll. Aabria had ONE episode that was significantly more important and related to the actual plot of the campaign and ya'll were clawing at her neck saying "this should have been a one shot!!!". If Brennan gets 3 freaking special calamity episodes only slightly related to the main plot and ya'll don't let out a peep I am literally fighting you in a parking lot. If this pans out the way I think it will then this absolutely should not be in the main campaign and could stand alone just like Calamity. I could totally be wrong, and I hope I am and they somehow found a way to fit 15 people at the table, but right now it's not looking too good and I cannot understate how sad I am. We just got them back! I want to meet Braius! 😫 Please, PLEASE, let them have their proper moment for us to know him 🙏

Instead of Boycott Stranger Things, I want a campaign to get this show to raise the rating to R and take it out of the teen show category on Netflix. Give this show back to the OG fans - The adults who actually like it and understand what is happening.
Teenagers don't get to dictate what happens on any show, let alone a show that was never made for them. This fandom isn't theirs. They just harassed everyone out of it and it's not ok.
