here are some compiled theories on how the philza love triangle is going to go

Theory 1: Polyamory

Theory 2: Through Forever’s insistence and general charm, Philza chooses Forever.

Theory 3: Through Missa’s gentle encouragement and good parenting skills, Philza chooses Missa.

Theory 4: Through consistent begging and good pathetic man voice, Philza convinces Quackity to add his wife to the server, immediately marrying her, ending the competition.

Theory 5: In a desperate final bid to prove that he cannot love them he attempts to contact the underworld to hilarious results, but Kristen never picks up the phone in the end

Theory 5a: Forever and Missa find out canonically about Philza’s extensive lore, and are so weirded out by it they decide maybe it’s better to leave him be

Theory 6: Philza asks Wilbur for relationship advice

Theory 6a: Philza asks Foolish for relationship advice, Foolish would probably answer something otherworldly and wise, like “Well, kiss them both and whoever is the better kisser is a better husband!” Leaving Phil to become a little self-conscious about his ‘good husbandship’

Theory 7: in a surprise triple sweep FitMC enters the battlefield at the last second and sweeps Philza off his feet

Theory 8: Phil says he only needs his kids and runs away into the woods holding them like kittens in his mouth

Theory 9: In a dramatic attempt to win Philza’s affection Missa and Forever preform “El Tango De Roxxane (Moulin Rouge 2)” to see who he prefers. Phil then reveals he’s never seen the movie.

Theory 10: Cucorucho, already invested heavily in the lives of the people, arrives and Phil’s house and will not leave until he chooses.

Pissa Headcanon Post:

1) Philza likes to hug Missa with his wings a lot. He is always sorta hovering next to Missa. Missa is cold? Wing. Missa is hot? Wing. Missa is happy? Wing. Missa is sad? Wing. Missa despite this doesn’t realize this is unusual for a avian to be so affectionate. I like to imagine Missa just think this is normal for avians to act like this.

2) Philza is protective of their shared home because in his avian brain that’s their nest. Which is why he is so reluctant to let people access and why he always reminds people it’s “Phil and Missa”. Because it’s theirs. Not his. Missa doesn’t realize this is big. Someone needs to slap his brain with a book about avian courting rituals. Philza has started courting Missa from practically day 1. Missa doesn’t know this. Again someone help him.

3) Missa has been gifted Phil’s feathers and the fact that avians only gift feathers to someone they are courting. Philza would even braid the feathers into Missa hair. As a subtle way to say back off.

4) Missa is taller than Phil. Despite this Phil will pick up Missa easily. I imagine soon into their government assigned marriage Phil realized it’s the best course of option to do to get Missa out of sticky situations. Phil will also perch on his shoulder when he really decides to be playful.

5) Because of Avian instincts Philza really want to preen Missa. But obviously he doesn’t has wings. So instead he tends to play with his hair a lot. And take out whatever debris Missa managed to get in it. He will literally take out like twigs out of Missa hair in front of people once it started bothering him.

6) Missa had to learn quickly how to preen Phil’s wings. And high-key he is the best at preening on the island. Even more so than other Avians. Because boy was high-key must be the best for his husband. Especially considering Phil tends to get his wings dirty easily from all the exploring and adventuring.

7) Like most Avians if you touch his wings randomly Phil would probably attempt some sort of violence. The only people that have unlimited wing access without asking is literally his family and Missa. Again Missa would not realize how big a deal this is. Missa can fully touch Phil’s wings anytime. And knowing Missa would take advantage because softness.

8) Phil avian side immediately found Missa attractive because he was a good singer (a common way for avians to court). Phil is abyssal at singing so the common way he courted is with so much gifts and acts of service.

9) The reason Phil stopped sleeping in the double bed Missa and him shared is because Missa scent left and that made him low key depressed. The main reason behind once Missa came back Philza and him had a massive cuddle.

10) I like to imagine once Missa came back Philza was finally free of most of his stress. His wings not a mess. No eye-bags. Skin clear. Smiling at everything and nothing. And the only thing that happened was Missa coming back. And others that never met Missa and Philza before Missa went away are kinda scared. Because Philza the angel of death himself is all soft and happy. Not dying of stress 24/7.

11) It’s my personal belief that Avians are private but very affectionate. So Philza is actually very affectionate towards Missa. Missa meanwhile can’t handle Philza complimenting him and saying good things about him. Missa is so weak for verbal affection. Please somebody give the poor guy some confidence.

12) Philza is one of the few people that Missa feels safe enough around to take off his skull mask. Most of the island has never seen Missa without his mask.

Oh my good… I aged like a million years that episode.

My thoughts on no particular order except obviously Jamie first:

1. Phil had to have had SO much fun filming the boot room scene with Brett. Like I need stats. How many takes did they need?

2. Keeley trying to help and making it so much worst 🤣

3. Jamie’s mom just *chefs kiss* no notes. Bless this woman for giving Jamie all the snuggles I have been wanting to give him. Also physical touch is so Jamie’s love language.

4. SIMON omg Jamie’s step-dad/mum’s boyfriend is basically British Ted I may need to lay on the floor.

5. Ummm Roy maybe we should unpack your immediate and obvious crush on Jamie’s mum given that she is basically a female Jamie 🧐

7. Roy and Keeley those muppets - worrying about him, stalking him, the celebration. WHAT DID ROY SAY TO HIM IN HIS EAR?!?!

8. The forgiveness story line with Jamie just… I know folks are going to be angry with it and it’s not a one size fits all type of situation but it did give me hope. Jamie is in a better place and if what we leave this storyline with is Wembly being a wake up call and James in rehab then maybe we can live in a world where James knows and understands what he did to Jamie and is doing everything he can to be better. I kinda like that world.

9. NATE! Just everything Nate this episode. The boys coming to him (the two who bullied him and the two he bullied) asking him back. His arc at the restaurant and his relationship with Jade (love it). His 60 page letter and his conversation with Beard. 🥹

my last reblog had me reminiscing on my early days in the phandom so i decided to compile a list of embarrassing dnp related things i did aged 11-15!

should i keep these to myself? probably. am i going to? absolutely not. here we go :)

1) i ran a dan and phil instagram fanpage and let all my irls follow it. when my friends would tag me on insta posts they would tag my phannie account

2) that account was called phans_special_snowflake

3) exclusively had dnp merch for school supplies. backpack. phone case. pencil case. everything.

4) when my english teacher asked what the d&p on my phonecase stood for, i confidently replied “dick and penis!”

5) i would watch dan and phil IN CLASS with no headphones

6) my spanish teacher asked me to send him a video so he could “see what dan and phil were all about”. i sent him I Nearly Blinded Myself as it was the most recent video at the time. he said it was “slightly inappropriate” and i had no idea what he meant

7) i wrote a persuasive essay on how dan and phil were secretly in love and in a gay relationship. i then read that essay in front of my entire class for a presentation grade. i got an A+ for both assignments.

8) i would tag dan and phil in EVERYTHING i posted

9) when i met dan and phil, i cried so hard that i walked away from them while dan was MID sentence trying to talk to me (phil said absolutely nothing to me. what a king)

i’m sure there are many many more things that i am missing but these are the ones that i remember most. honestly if i were to have a takeaway from all this, its that i LOVE my past self. i don’t actually believe in embarrassment or cringe. i was young and passionate and everyone knew it. are there things here that should make me cringe. yeah. definitely. but honestly, whats the point? i’ve grown up since then. why hate myself for what i didnt know? all i can do is laugh. and i mean come on… it’s so funny. 12 year old lydia the icon that you are. i was NOT afraid to be myself, and i feel like that has served me well. i’m really glad i grew up watching dan and phil. they’ve been great role models. especially as a young queer girl who was scared that she would never be able to find true love or happiness. so thank you to dan and phil for growing up with me! i’ve definitely come a long way :,)

What I hope for the new year!
