I once(like 3years ago) like tried making a encryption puzzle thing for a friend and they never got back to me about decoding it so I don’t know if they decoded it or not and it’s only a four step encryption like it’s binary hex then caeser cipher and NATO phonetic alphabet (to decrypt).
It could be they didn’t get that it was a hot fuzz quote but I’m still concerned that I made an error when making it that made it impossible to decipher.

Google Phonetic Alphabet:  /ˈɡo͞oɡəl fəˈnedik ˈalfəˌbet/
So, as some of you may know, when you google basically any word followed by “definition” you get the definition of that word. But Google also provides a phonetic respelling, but it doesn’t use the IPA, it has it’s own system. As far as I can tell Google search is the only way to find anything about it so... HERE’S A GUIDE!
Let’s get the boring part out of the way, ˈ and ˌ are used for stress. So permit the verb is /pərˈmit/ and the noun is /ˈpərmit/
Now, the actual sounds. Something I find interesting is CAPITALIZATION, it’s used to “fuse” diagraphs. Lighthouse is  /ˈlītˌhous/ and lithe is /līT͟H/. Also, voiced dental fricatives are signified by adding a line underneath /T͟H/.
Here’s a full list of the consonants (IPA on the left, “GPA” on the right)
b / b d / d dʒ/ j ð / T͟H  f / f ɡ / ɡ h / h hw/ (h)w j / y k / k l / l m / m n / n ŋ / NG p / p r / r s / s ʃ / SH t / t tʃ/ CH θ / TH  v / v w / w z / z ʒ / ZH x / KH
Now onto the vowels, depending on what’s more intuitive the GPA could use doubled letters with an edit or diacritics. It almost goes out of it’s way to not use any vowel letters the IPA created, instead going for the previously mentioned methods. There’s one exception, ə, which not only represents the schwa like in the IPA, it also represents /ʌ/ so that’s fun.
Strong vowels:
ɑː / ä ɒ  / ä æ  / a aɪ / ī aʊ / ou ɛ  / e eɪ / ā ɪ  / i iː / ē oʊ / ō ɔː / ô ɔɪ / oi ʊ  / o͝o uː / o͞o ʌ  / ə
Weak vowels:
ə  / ə ɪ  / ə i  / ē u  / o͞o ər / ər oʊ / ō iə / ēə
R after vowel:
ɑːr / är ɒr  / ôr ær  / er aɪər/ ī(ə)r aʊər/ ou(ə)r ɛr  / er ɛər / er ɪr  / ir ɪər / ir ɔːr / ôr ɔɪər/ oi(ə)r ʊr  / o͝or ʊər / o͝or ɜːr / ər ʌr  / ər uə  / o͝oə
Notes:
1: I asked my British friend to try looking at her google definition system, and apparently hers just uses the IPA normally, so maybe this is only used if you’re in the States or something.
2: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/English is where I got the list of sounds from. I abridged it slightly, I got rid of everything related to yod dropping because the GPA straight up ignores it.
