hey critters. Turns out my blog name is kind of a pun now, because-

I’m plural! A median system, in fact!!

For us, it’s like we’re different versions of whoever the host is, though we don’t know who is the host, or if the host is even here ;w; (note: some kid named Cupid was the only one in the body around 2022-2023 we believe, but she has been gone since then.)

this changes a lot for me, and when I read about median systems a little over a week ago, it all just clicked!! it explains so, SO much about me, or… us. Speaking of “us”- you may see us use first person pronouns and we/us interchangably :3 though sometimes we/us makes me uncomfortable T_T..

by the way, the one who is writing this is Calico/Switchblade! You’ll probably hear a lot from me, alongside Echo, who appears to be the one who named this blog lol (and therefore it goes unchanged -w-). the others we know of are Wulf/Wolfsong, Sprite, Invurrt/Spell, and Spade.

Collectively, we like the name Hex (and switchblade >:3) so you may call us that! We’re also fine with using she/it/he/ze/cat/star/bite, ect pronouns in general (she/her or cat/cats is fine for simplicity), but sometimes Wulf decides to come over like the wolf he is and trans our gender XD

we’re planning on using little user boxes for the bottom of each post to show our pref name and pronouns, but our computer is six feet under unfortunately </3 (we can manage though. Probably)

By the way. Anti endos make us uncomfy, and sometimes are really mean, so we wouldn’t really like anti-endo interaction, especially Wulf. He seems to be affected by our anxiety disorder the most and I would not like to put him through that :(

Ichie deserved to be in that event story! As much as I love the ReLive genre of 'Claudine is the Third Yumeoji Sister', Ichie would have been a great fit because of all the crossover between the idol industry and pro-wrestling.

I mean, look at Maki Itoh! Ichie would find a lot of inspiration in how Maki was able to create a name for herself--the cutest wrestler in the world!--after being unceremoniously pushed out of the idol industry.

Ichie and Maki may not have a lot in common otherwise, but that parallel with one of Ichie's core character conflicts means I'll never stop wondering what it would have been like for Ichie to join the wrestling story.

I feel ya. Had to unfollow a long time mutual recently for very quickly going from 'hey don't be antisemetic' (good! antisemitism is really bad!) to straight up posting israel sympathising stuff. And while I am sure it probably came from a good place.... just. no. innocent people are dying by the day, you're focussing on the wrong things! Multiple things can be true at once- antisemitism can be bad and the actions of the isreali government can be absolutley fucked up! It's a real shame. Please, put your energy towards real instances of antisemetism and don't veer into genocide denialism. sorry for the rant in the inbox, it's been bothering me for a while, don't feel like you have to respond to this. It's just sad to see good people taking these complex issues in totally the wrong direction.

I'm in the exact same situation actually, it's what prompted the recent bout of posting. I'm still following this person because I think it's interesting (? possibly the wrong wording, interesting in the manner of something bad that I can't look away from) to see how the pipeline works that inches people's viewpoints farther and farther away from what is reasonable. All of the posts originally written by this person read as good points - antisemitism is a rampant problem and we need to be careful not to parrot it unintentionally in activism, bringing awareness to that is a genuine good service. But the posts they reblog have inched closer and closer to the view that any kind of support for Palestine is inherent anti-Semitism, as is just...stating factual things Israel has done and is doing? As well as beginning to use degrading language for activists and supporters. It's easy to see how someone can be radicalized by posts they majority agree with that carry increasingly unsubtle violence along with their half-decent points (to the point where the end result is something the beginning person might have seen for what it is).

Sorry for any incomprehensible wording - I am very sleep deprived. Thank you for speaking up, it's nice to be able to talk about what I've been noticing.
