You know what I hate. Those stupid commercials that you can't skip. And they will have a pointsystem and the more points the higher your IQ. Point is they are all dumb games. Like this game with balls where you need to hit squires 1000 times for it to break and they are all alligned perfectly for you to hit in one try. Also their IQ levels go to 150 and above somehow. I hate it so much.

NEW YEARS EVE at HUDSON YARDS

Concrete jungle littered with bright, changing lights. On December 31st, everyone looks to New York City as the clock strikes midnight, and the world shifts into a new plane.

Thousands upon thousands gather on the streets, at homes, or rooftops. Strangers become friends, friends become family, and better friends something more. Enemies might have this night be an unlikely truce — or the turning point of a rivalry. 

Above all, one thing is true: no one is above celebration — in whatever form it takes. Choose your poison and your circle, and enjoy your night.

OOC INFORMATION:

IC, the event takes place on the night of December 31t / Early hours of January 1st. OOC, the end date will be determined soon.

Members can (but are not required to) pause non-event threads during this event, and prioritize event threads for fun, flowing interactions. We also recommend the shorter, snappier format.

Members are encouraged to plot within themselves what their characters will be up to during the event. If you come up with any heavier conflict to happen, please just make sure to shoot the main a message first.

IC INFORMATION:

The event takes place at Hudson Yards. From watching the fireworks from the top of the Edge to over the top experiences from art installations, live performances, and secret speakeasies waiting to be found. 

An upscale event, for those used to it — formal wear from bow-ties to dresses —, but with plenty of opportunities for darker outcomes, all around.

Creative Outfit & Narrative headcanon: What outfit is your character wearing? Who are they with? Why have they decided to attend? Do they have any superstitions or New Years Eve traditions? Answer all or any of these through a post of your liking. <3

Personal projection headcanon: Create a post outlining their goals for 2023, or their general future as it holds. This can be IC or OOC.

Personal retrospective headcanon: Create a post re-telling important things which have happened to them in 2022, and what impact they had in the person they are today. This can be IC or OOC.

Secret gift exchange: Successfully delivering gift(s) to the character you were assigned to. If you have multiple, it will be multiplied by each time it’s completed.

Please try your best to do this, so that no one is left without a gift! But, in case you find yourself unable to, please let the admins know so we can rearrange things in time.

Ο κατάλογος των 13 διαδικασιών που απλοποιούνται!! Εύκολα, γρήγορα και μόνο με ένα «κλικ» θα κινούνται οι διαδικασίες για άδειες οδήγησης, μεταβιβάσεις αδειών κυκλοφορίας αυτοκινήτων, point system, ακόμη και καταγγελίες, είτε προς οδηγούς ταξί ή εκπαιδευτές υποψήφιων οδηγών........ Ήδη, έπειτα από την υπογραφή της προγραμματικής συμφωνίας για την απλοποίηση και την ψηφιοποίηση των διοικητικών υπηρεσιών, δυο ομάδες εργασίας από το υπουργείο Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης αλλά και από το υπουργείο Μεταφορών σχεδιάζουν τις πλατφόρμες και τα ψηφιακά εργαλεία που θα μπορούν να χρησιμοποιούν οι πολίτες εντός του 2020. Όπως δηλώνει ο Υφυπουργός Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης αρμόδιος για θέματα Απλούστευσης Διαδικασιών, Γιώργος Γεωργαντάς, «η προγραμματική συμφωνία που συνάψαμε με το υπουργείο Μεταφορών και Υποδομών, η οποία σημειωτέον ότι είναι η πρώτη που υπογράφεται στο πλαίσιο του Εθνικού Προγράμματος Απλούστευσης Διαδικασιών, προβλέπει τον ανασχεδιασμό, την απλοποίηση και ακολούθως την ψηφιοποίηση πολλών διαδικασιών, όπως αυτών που αφορούν στο Σύστημα Ελέ��χου Συμπεριφοράς Οδηγών, την έκδοση αδειών οδήγησης, τη μεταβίβαση αδειών κυκλοφορίας και την ηλεκτρονική παρακολούθηση των παραβάσεων συγκεκριμένων διατάξεων του ΚΟΚ. Θα χρησιμοποιούνται πια ηλεκτρονικά μέσα για την υποβολή διαφόρων δικαιολογητικών και αιτήσεων, καθώς και για την υλοποίηση διαδικασιών όπως την παρακολούθηση παραβάσεων του ΚΟΚ και τη βεβαίωση και είσπραξη προστίμων. Με λίγα λόγια, εισάγουμε τις κρατικές διαδικασίες που αφορούν τις μεταφορές στον 21ο αιώνα. Αυξάνουμε την ταχύτητα, μειώνουμε το διοικητικό κόστος και καθιερώνουμε ένα πλαίσιο διαφάνειας και καθολικής εφαρμογής του θεσμικού πλαισίου». Για «επαναστατικές» διαδικασίες έκανε λόγο ο γενικός γραμματέας του υπουργείου Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης και απλούστευσης διαδικασιών, Λεωνίδας Χριστόπουλος, που επισημαίνει ότι «η προγραμματική συμφωνία που υπογράψαμε με το υπουργείο Υποδομών και Μεταφορών εντάσσεται στο πλαίσιο της ευρύτερης θα λέγαμε ‘επανάστασης’ που επιχειρούμε στο υπουργείο Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης για να εξαλείψουμε τη γραφειοκρατία, να απλουστεύσουμε τη ζωή των πολιτών και το έργο των δημοσίων υπαλλήλων». Στο «στόχαστρο», όπως αναφέρει χαρακτηριστικά ο κ. Χριστόπουλος, μπαίνουν συνολικά 13 διαδικασίες, «ενώ αιχμή του δόρατος αποτελούν οι άδειες οδήγησης, οι μεταβιβάσεις οχημάτων, οι κλήσεις, το point- system και οι διαδικασίες για τον ψηφιακό ταχογράφο, με απώτερο στόχο να έχουμε κάνει σημαντικά βήματα προόδου εντός του 1ου εξαμήνου του 2020. Ο πολίτης πλέον δε θα χρειάζεται να περιμένει σε ουρές για υποβάλλει δικαιολογητικά προκειμένου να ολοκληρώσει τη μεταβίβαση του οχήματός του, θα μπορεί να το κάνει απλά, από την άνεση του σπιτιού του με ένα κλικ από τον υπολογιστή του. Από τον υπολογιστή του, επίσης, θα μπορεί να ενημερώνεται και για τους πόντους ποινής που ενδεχομένως έχει στο “point – system”. Είμαι σίγουρος ότι οι περισσότεροι οδηγοί σήμερα αγνοούν αν έχουν πόντους και δεν ξέρουν καν με ποιον τρόπο να το τσεκάρουν». Οδήγηση από το επόμενο λεπτό για όποιον περάσει τις εξετάσεις Η μεγάλη αλλαγή που προωθείται, όπως υπογραμμίζει ο κ. Χριστόπουλος αφορά στα διπλώματα οδήγησης. «Μέχρι σήμερα ο κάθε επίδοξος νέος οδηγός, όταν πέρναγε τις εξετάσεις, χρειαζόταν να περιμένει ένα μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα, προκειμένου να λάβει στα χέρια του το πολυπόθητο δίπλωμα, ώστε να μπορέσει να οδηγήσει νόμιμα το όχημα του. Με την απλοποίηση και την ψηφιοποίηση των διαδικασιών οι υποψήφιοι οδηγοί θα μπορούν, καταρχάς να καταθέσουν ηλεκτρονικά την αίτησή τους. Από εκεί και πέρα, οι επιτυχόντες στις εξετάσεις θα καταχωρούνται ψηφιακά, έτσι ώστε να μπορούν να οδηγήσουν νόμιμα από το επόμενο κιόλας λεπτό της επιτυχούς εξέτασης». Εξάλλου, όπως τονίζει ο στόχος του υπουργείου Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης είναι «να μετασχηματίσουμε την εμπειρία των πολιτών, αλλά και των επιχειρήσεων, στις καθημερινές τους συνδιαλλαγές με το Δημόσιο, βελτιώνοντας την ίδια στιγμή την ποιότητα των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών. Καταργώντας χρονοβόρες γραφειοκρατικές διαδικασίες το κέρδος είναι αμφίδρομο για πολίτες και Δημόσιο, καθώς μπαίνει τελεία στην «ταλαιπωρία της ουράς», εξοικονομούνται πόροι, ‘χαμένες εργατοώρες’, αλλά και ανθρώπινο δυναμικό. Αξίζει δε να υπογραμμίσουμε ότι επενδύοντας στην απλοποίηση και την ψηφιοποίηση των διαδικασιών, επενδύουμε στην καθιέρωση διαδικασιών διαφάνειας, ενώ η απλοποίηση της καθημερινότητας των πολιτών, πιστεύω ακράδαντα ότι λειτουργεί ως άλλο κίνητρο πλήρους εντιμότητας». Ο κατάλογος των 13 διαδικασιών που απλοποιούνται ΑΔΕΙΑ ΟΔΗΓΗΣΗΣ (ΟΛΩΝ ΤΩΝ ΚΑΤΗΓΟΡΙΩΝ) – ΕΙΔΙΚΗ ΑΔΕΙΑ ΟΔΗΓΗΣΗΣ Στόχος: απλούστευση της διαδικασίας και ηλεκτρονική υποβολή δικαιολογητικών (ή/και μέσω ΚΕΠ). ΜΕΤΑΒΙΒΑΣΗ ΑΔΕΙΩΝ ΚΥΚΛΟΦΟΡΙΑΣ ΕΙΧ ΟΧΗΜΑΤΩΝ Στόχος: ηλεκτρονική υποβολή δικαιολογητικών. Άρση παρακράτησης κυριότητας οχημάτων ΒΕΒΑΙΩΣΗ ΚΑΙ ΠΑΡΑΚΟΛΟΥΘΗΣΗ ΠΑΡΑΒΑΣΕΩΝ ΤΟΥ ΚΟΚ Στόχος: Επανασχεδιασμός και υλοποίηση με ηλεκτρονικά μέσα των διαδικασιών βεβαίωσης και είσπραξης παραβάσεων του ΚΟΚ.
