Rai-Verse stories:

I have a lot of stories planned out for Rai, some I'm not sure if I'll ever get to, but I wanted to share some potentially funny or interesting things that will probably happen over time.

Rai has been given a unique transformation program by @alexanders-pokemon-adventure which let's him merge with his pokemon in a sort of power suit situation. (Still fleshing it out) Rai doesn't like putting his pokemon in danger and would rather be on the front lines, he still is dealing with the trauma of loosing his Brother and Father so he doesn't want thst to happen again.

At some point, Rai, Minnie and Tia get sucked into a strange portal where they meet alternate universe versions of Rai and some of themselves. Rai learns that the other versions of himself are very successful with the professor version of himself being the one who brought them all together, yet they find him as an anomaly due to his power and other reasons. They travel into multiverses by using an enslaves Hoopa, which main Rai objects to and manages to save. There's a version of Rai and Tia that are together and way into each other, Rai doesn't meet them, but she does.

Rai is pretty out of it from his multiversal travel, fearing he is the most inferior version of himself and believing he's failed at his life and can't pull himself out of the funk. A scenario with @prof-peach helps pull him towards better and gives him confidence to finally ask out Tia.

Over time he begins relying on others and realizing his importance, eventually he gets involved in a pretty serious back and forth between a large corporation trying to demolish a good chunk of the Great Marsh, first by acquiring it, then sabotaging protection efforts, and finally by actually setting fire to the marsh. At this point "The Duke" finally joins his team officially and helps a lot, Rai working through his issues with fire and losing people culminating in him getting help from literal sleeping giants to put it out.

Ranger Eddie wrestles with if he wants to stay a ranger and Minnie gets a new "Friend"

Everyone but Rai knows that Tia,Vea and Konani are members of Dragon Clans and they were the three mysterious women who danced at a cultural festival. They have also begun rising through the ranks of the Poke-Tri-Games and are in the top 5 teams, however there is a interjection by their Clans during a championship match which results in a Dragonic Challege, held by their customs. They fight for stay and break from their traditions.

Eventually Jo's past comes back to haunt her, but the rest of her rangers stick by her.

These are just some ideas, but I feel like there's a lot that will happen between all of this.

I'm always down for more suggestions or theories.

I am really loving this world built and I want to see where else it can go.

Mew today's not-- I don't care, I chose to brainstorm these designs because it sounded like a fun idea. I was going for something like a "group cosplay" (and Tokyo Mew Mew) so each Mega also has an associated animal.

Volnutt is a monkey because Data (duh), Hub is a cat because it was literally given to him thanks to the anime, Geo and Omega-Xis are rabbits because the spikes on Geo's visor give me that image, then X and Rock are both dogs (albeit Rock is a puppy) because uhh... Rock has Rush and honestly for X I just thought about Sigma and his dog--

Also there's lots of doodles of Volnutt because this was absolutely his idea somehow.

headcannon: Seto likes to use eve as a fidget when he is concentrated and working. Squeezing her, flipping her around his fingers like a pencil and messing with her hair

This, but it's actually the reverse.

Kaiba isn't a very touchy-feely kind of person, and when he's working he tends to get extremely hyper focused on what's in front of him, not entirely needing something to fidget with because he's so preoccupied with the task at hand. He also thinks that Eve wouldn't really appreciate being treated like that, considering Eve has a very big stance against being treated as a toy, and tries to keep that in consideration when he's handling her. The only thing he'll really do is hold her hand in his fingers or brush her hair a little bit.

It's actually Eve that tends to use Kaiba to fidget. When she's reading over something she'll reach out and gently pet his fingers, when she's lost in thought she'll absentmindedly stroke his hair, when she's resting she'll run her hands down Kaiba's cheeks and nose, etc. She's essentially Kaiba's opposite, and Kaiba doesn't mind too much because she's so tiny that he barely notices it.

i want a neopets nostalgia website you can't log into, it just always looks like you're logged in to the original site circa late 2000s and the main purpose of the fansite is just to recreate the feeling of going onto neopets to do your dailies as a kid. you can click around the world map, and take something from the omelet even though you don't have an account and thus an inventory, and you can spin the wheels, and you can go look in the shops even though you cant really buy anything, and you can go play the old flash games because they've been converted somehow, and maybe there's even a fabricated issue of the neopian times you can check. like it's all very simplified and obviously entire sections of the site like the battle dome would be missing, but you can Get That Feeling again just by poking around. no accounts, so no logging in needed and no large server space or cybersecurity required for the host (not that the real neopets ever had the latter), i just want to click on little secrets on the world map and play the hannah trilogy or ice cream factory or caves & corridors again

I don't know much about this world so it was really hard to make a character (usually I have more to go on and can sketch out a clearer character concept), but we're just gonna see where this takes us

I have a quiet Nidoran (female). Any tips or info about her?

Hmmm. Well, I like to say that quiet doesn't always mean shy or not dangerous.

The first thing is to see what it's interested in, because it might be quieter when it comes to battles or meeting new pokemkn, but creatively it could be much more open.

Quiet natured pokemon tend to be "sleeping giants" from my experience, much like people.

When dealing with a quiet natured pokemon, try just spending time with it and seeing what it gravitated towards.

This is the trainers job to understand the pokemon.

Nidoran are actually pretty good hunters and trackers. They might even do well in the Treasure Hunt Portion of the Poke-Tri Games.

Philautia 3: Does your OC judge themselves by the same standards as they apply to others? Or are they sometimes hypocritical in condemning others for faults they also possess? Or perhaps they find it easier to forgive others for things that they cannot abide in themselves?

Maria is harder on herself than she is on anyone else. I think her standards for others vary based on the other person's situation---she has a very low opinion of the rich, for example, because they do so little to give back---but in general, she holds herself to a high standard. When she fails, she internalizes it and struggles to let it go. That isn't something she would show outwardly, though; she laughs a lot off and dwells on it in private. Only the people who know her best have any idea how personally she takes failure.

Ludus 3: How does your OC feel about one night stands? Have they ever enjoyed a night of passionate romance with a stranger? Is this something they are quite keen on recreationally? Or only something they might engage in under specific circumstances (such as the eve of a battle or after a difficult breakup)?

Ooof. Yeah.

Definitely not something she ever thought about before Fenris. Maria found people attractive before him, and flirted and dated (a little), but Fenris was the first person she actually wanted to have sex with. If she'd thought for a second that it would be a one-night thing, she would have told him to go home. After that night, she really, really struggled to find a balance between wanting him to stay around (and remain her friend) and trying to put her feelings for him aside.

(I think from his perspective...the only thing she could think to do was not touch or look at or be near him at all. Given how affectionate she is to all of her friends otherwise, the contrast was as stark as it was painful...but this question isn't about Fenris)

The most logical solution she could come up for to solve this problem was dilution. Maybe she couldn't forget that night because it was the first time. Therefore, she would just drown out the memories with a lot of other experiences and then, obviously, all of those confusing feelings would go away and she could have her friend back and everything would be just like it used to be.

So Maria spent a few weeks of focused experimentation at the Rose trying every sex act that sounded even remotely interesting. It was nice enough, interesting from an experiential perspective, but the sex never felt like what she'd had with Fenris. There was no emotional connection, and without that the whole experience remained somewhat academic.

She was working up to one-night stands when Leandra died, and after that it all seemed a bit pointless. Fenris was so present for her, especially after the fight with the Arishok, that she finally conceded that she was just going to have to live with being in unrequited love with him forever. At that point, I don't think she ever seriously considered casual sex again--though she did have suitors in the gap between acts 2 and 3.

Philia 5: What is their most fervent wish for their best friend(s)? How far would they go to make it happen?

Safety and happiness. Wen would even refrain from killing to make this happen c:

Joking aside, Alistair is her dearest friend. By the end of the Blight, he's family to her. I think her deepest wish for him is that he eventually can have a life that he chooses for herself. She is well aware that she's the reason this couldn't happen, but she didn't see any other choice at the time. She would gladly and easily assassinate the nobility to make his life earlier, but more importantly she would let them live for his peace of mind. She remains his closest confidante even at a distance even though it's really hard for her to act in that capacity. When he calls her to Denerim to act as an advisor for important meetings, she neither complains nor climbs out a window.

(Morrigan, who is her next closest friend...Wen is willing to let Morrigan go if it really makes her happy. At the end of Witch Hunt, it breaks her heart a little bit to say goodbye for good. I like to think they connected again later, after Morrigan came back to the material world with Kieran.)

Eros 5: How closely is their opinion of their own beauty (or lack thereof) linked to their confidence? Do they see themselves as more or less worthy of love or sex based on how attractive they feel?

I don't think Emma is especially preoccupied with her appearance in general. If she were to think about it, she would suppose she looks pretty enough, but then she'd move on to something more interesting. Her confidence is linked very strongly to her mind; her body is a secondary consideration most of the time. She does try to present a particular image, especially given her role as the Inquisitor, but I don't think her idea of self-worth is tied to her physical appearance at all.

But then, she is my absentminded professor OC and forgets she even has a body half the time when she's comfortable. The hardest times in her life are times where she is forced to feel herself intensely for long periods of time: after she is stabbed, when she loses her arm, the rough period in Kirkwall when she's going into Darktown several times a week and having to heal constantly.

you’ve been katsuki’s for as long as you can remember.

sure, he had never outwardly called you his girlfriend, but when you were both seven years old, he came up to you. chest heaving slightly from running up and down the hill where he had gotten you a freshly plucked out bouquet of flowers. the roots were still clinging to them and he got dirt all over your hands from forcibly grabbing them and shoving the bouquet in them before you could even form a sentence.

“since you accepted the flowers, you’re mine now.” he mumbled, his little hands tightened into fists at his sides and chubby cheeks a cute shade of pink, staring at you as confidently as he could.

a grin grows on his face when you respond with a simple “okay !” and a bright smile. the grin on his face never disappears even as his mom scolds him for getting you both all dirty.

you were katsuki’s in middle school too, when the boys in class decided to play kiss, marry, kill and he had somehow gotten dragged into it. the girls in your class tried their best to seem uninterested, claiming the boys were being childish, but you noticed how hard some of them were straining their ears trying to hear what the guys were talking about in their own little corner of the room. you’d be lying if you said you weren’t a little curious as well.

katsuki was as ruthless as you’d known him to be, choosing to kill any girl that wasn’t to his liking, which ended up being all of them. much to the other boys’ chagrin, claiming he had no taste.

then your name was brought up.

at that, his eyes widened and he turned in his seat to see if you were watching. you had never turned your head away so fast in your life and you were pretty sure you heard something go “crack”.

he clicked his tongue. mumbling something about how stupid the game was before muttering out a “kiss yn, marry yn and kill that other bitch.” before getting up and stomping away, claiming he had to go to the bathroom followed closely by the whoops and hollers of his two friends behind him.

you both made eye contact when he walked out and you think you’ll never forget how red his cheeks were.

you were katsuki’s when he was the one to walk you to and from school everyday, claiming you would somehow get lost without him. you were katsuki’s when he had begrudgingly shoved homemade valentines day chocolates into your arms, mumbling something about how you had been upset nobody had gotten you anything last year, conveniently leaving out the fact he had scared off all the other guys trying to offer you anything.

you were katsuki’s when he grabbed your hand during the winter because he said you’d “end up dying of hypothermia with the way you’re chittering over there.” and you were his when you were the only person he laughed around. loud, genuine laughter that you and only you could squeeze out of him. you were katsuki’s when he randomly kissed you goodnight at your door one night and he’s been doing it ever since, and gets all pouty when you turn away from his kisses to tease him.

“are we dating ?” you had asked him. you’re both in high school now and you’re in his dorm room. your legs are on his lap and he’s got a comfortable grip on your leg, which tightens after he registers your questions “hah?” he looks utterly confused and a little insulted as he looks back at you, his entire face scrunched up in confusion. you pinch his nose and he swats at your hand.

“are we dating ? like—am i your girlfriend.” you say again and katsuki’s face scrunches up even harder. he huffs and looks back at his phone, landing a little smack on your leg still placed in his lap. “ ‘course yer my fuckin’ girlfriend.” he spits out, obviously irritated. then he looks back at you “I haven’t made it obvious ?” he says sarcastically. one of his eyebrows lifted as he pokes at your leg still very much in his lap.

you simply shrug “s’not that. it’s just because you’ve never actually asked me out before, so i was a little confused on where we stood.” you mumble. he stares at you while you speak and he stares a little longer before sighing. then he leans towards you and flicks your forehead.

“ow !”

“dumbass.” he murmurs. there’s a slight pout on his face and his cheeks are light shade of pink when he looks you in the eyes again. he grabs both your cheeks with one hand and smushes them together to push your lips out and presses multiple wet kisses onto them that have you squealing and squirming. his wet lips are pulled into a smirk when he pulls back and you try your best to at least look a little angry, you really do. but it’s useless when he looks at you like that.

“of course you’re my girlfriend” he reiterates. his smirk’s been replaced for something softer, something more sincere as he gazes at you with so much unadulterated affection it makes your head spin a little. “you’ve always been mine.” he says it in a teasing tone and his hand is still smushing your cheeks out and it hurts a little but his eyes are still the same. they’re warm and soft and so, so enamored with you and only you.

when he finally let’s go of your face and pulls you fully into his lap, you realize katsuki’s been yours for as long as you’ve been his.

you smile brightly at him but turn your nose up when he leans in to kiss you again. “i still haven’t heard what i wanna hear though, mr. bakugou.”

he rolls his eyes and pinches at your thigh as he mumbles out a “don’t call me that.” sighing, he looks at you intensely and you suddenly feel very shy.

“will you be my girlfriend, ya shitty girl ?” and he says it as a joke, you both know it is cus his lips are already forming into a smirk the second he finishes his sentence. and you’re pulling at his nose the moment you register it, but you’re both smiling hard. he laughs and you’re sure you’ll never get tired of the sound. “what’s your answer, pretty ?” he asks playfully and you pretend to really think it over just to mess with him, and giggling out a “yes!” when he suddenly pounces on you. flipping you both over and tickling you mercilessly, calling it revenge for you “taking too damn long to answer.”

you’d been katsuki’s for as long as you can remember, and you hope you can be forever.
