Today I watched a new Pokemon animation call "Pokemon Concierge." It focuses a vacation for people and Pokemon. The main character name Haru who been through a lot stress and starting to work here. This reminds me a lot of Yoshi's Wolly World.

Haru and Kodakku (Psyduck)

I enjoyed this show a lot. I love the stop-motion animation style and it reminded me to the shows I used to watch as a kid.

I wanted to do a quick sketch of Haru and Psyduck/Koddaku, but my "quick sketch" ended up being one day. I only used a small canvas size so this image isn't really that clear (and I ran it through Glaze). But I did put in a lot of effort in this, and I even drew each of the Pokémon on Haru's shirt (Bellossom and Oddish, plus some flowers) on a separate canvas and just copy-pasted it all. Lots of effort, but I enjoyed it.

Funny story: Unlike other anime/games where I knew the Japanese names, I grew up with Pokémon in English—manga, games, anime. So for all my life I knew only their English names (except Pikachu, of course). I watched Pokémon Concierge in Japanese with English subtitles, and around the third episode I realized I was hearing the Japanese names! You get what I mean, right?

Ran the image through Web Glaze for protection against AI, hence the somewhat rough texture.
