i know its a bit of a faux-pas to ask tattoo artists this since it varies so wildly, but is there a usual price range you find your tattoos tend to be? or do you have a minimum that you know it will be over? useful to know for many of us in the trans community because of rampant poverty, trump presidency, and the crumbling economy, plus Seattle cost of living. I wanna make sure i'm not wasting your time by asking for something then revealing i can't pay that much for it.

(Please note, these are general rates, not specific, and probably only good for the next month or two depending on how many hours I rack up.)

Size is the biggest question, then detail. A smaller flash piece like off my more recent sheets:

Tends to run about 50-100 depending on a bunch of factors including level of detail, color or not, that kind of thing. The most expensive out of the stuff shown here would be about 150-175.

Custom work may have drafting time fees, usually about another 50 tops.

Right now, I need a body of work more than anything, and that means photos of finished tattoos, not flash pages.

one time i weaponised my autism so hard I got all my classmates, even the ones who never read books, to read my then favourite book ("Ο Θεός αγαπά τα πουλιά" by Aggeliki Varella).

I guess you could call it my hyperfixation for like a solid 3 months. I loved that book so much, I was obsessed with it, I would not stop talking about it in class, to the point some of my classmates decided to read it as well, and they liked it too, and then the teacher started encouraging everyone else to read it as well- to the point we made a class project for the book (we were in fourth grade). It was a really nice moment and memory for me.
