You and him could stare at each other and you would poke his eyes jokingly, trying to pause your fingers before poking his eyes but actually doing it on accident. And now you’re saying sorry a million of times as he rubs his eyes.

Has “grounded” you by putting you in a room where you couldn’t melt out of. Don’t ask how that even happened.

You and him training a lot, Batman knows who you are. And boy did you wish he didn’t because now you are being trained by the dark knight and it’s tiring. But at least you can control your powers better now.

The type of guy to be the one to spray you with a fire extinguisher. Please don’t burn the couch.

If it’s a water mission, guess where you are if you can’t handle water well with your fire powers? In the sub or at the tower.

“Kinich, would you like to play?” 

Your smile was truly saccharine, possibly more sugar-sweet than the chocolate glaze that covered the thin stick you waved in front of his face, and it made Kinich’s heart skip a beat. 

He was too caught up in staring at you to answer at first. He stared at how your eyes danced with such pretty whimsy, how your face glowed like a star in the grass before him, forever bright and burning, the setting sun behind your back dousing you in a golden radiance that sent him silently spinning, much like the world on its axis.

Staring at your lips, still stained with fruit juice, glistening red as if you’ve been passionately kissed. Would you like to be kissed?

“Kinich?” You tilt your head to the side, brows furrowed in such an innocent way that he feels his heart racing again, making him feel like he was standing on the needle-point edge of a mountaintop, ready to fall into the embrace of something greater.

Kinich could only hope his face didn’t betray the emotions creating a storm within him, lest he be blown away. “I heard you. Play what?”

You smile even wider, even brighter, even lovelier. “The pocky game!” 

…what?

“What.”

You laugh, mirth shimmering in the air around you like a veil spun from the fabric of your joy, and Pryo Archon above, how he wanted to lose himself in you - in the bell chime of your laughter, in the light that sang from your very being.

“It’s a game, like the ones you compete in here in Natlan.” You glance up at him beneath the butterfly wings of your lashes, a little dream unfolding before Kinich’s eyes. “...but without, y’know, the maiming. Or the potential death.”

Kinich couldn’t help but feel his lips quirk up slightly at your cheekiness. You always seem to make him smile, even without meaning to. 

“That’s a shame. I was looking forward to being resurrected again actually.”

You roll your eyes. “Veeeery funny. Anyway, this game is simple and silly, and it may not be as adrenaline-inducing as bungee jumping or the like but I think we’ll both find it fun. And I figured…”

Suddenly, your smile becomes soft and Kinich doesn’t know what he’d do if you kept looking at him like that, with your pretty eyes crinkling with a tenderness that stoked a blaze hotter than Turnfire within him. 

“...I figured since it's your birthday too, we could do something silly, I guess. Together.”

You were still smiling, but there was an undercurrent of vulnerability in your voice, swelling like a tide. You just wanted to make him happy. You just wanted him to be carefree and unburdened as you were, even if was for one day, and how could he possibly turn you away when you looked at him like that, pure glitter in your eyes?

It was as easy as plunging head-first off the edge of a cliff.

“Whatever game you want me to play,” Kinich said softly, “I’ll play it. Just for you.”

You lit up, a dazzling flame of happiness made from Kinich’s dreams. 

“Okay so,” you begin to explain, “I put one end of the pocky in my mouth, and the other end goes in yours.”

You press the chocolate-covered end of the pocky stick against his lips, and his lips parted to allow the treat entry. The sugar of it rested plainly on his tongue.

You laugh a little as you eye how stoic he looked still. If only you knew how he felt on the inside. 

“To play, we have to start eating our ends. Whoever mouth lets go of the pocky first, loses. Or…”

And this is when you begin to blush a little, and Kinich relished in the way your cheeks pinked like the clouds rolling overhead, so sweet and beautiful. “Or we both get to the middle and kiss, making it a tie. But it’s not a big deal or anything!”

Kissing you, with your cheeks so flushed and your lips looking so petal-soft. That was certainly a challenge worth more than its weight in gold. And a challenge he wouldn't back away from.

And for the rest of the day, and beyond that, with chocolate and satisfaction still melting on his tongue, nothing could’ve compared to how sweet you tasted, how soft your lips were against his, plump as a daisy, just as addictive as the fruit juice coloring your mouth painting his own like smeared lipstick. A kiss kiss kiss here and there until he had you laid out on the grass, saccharine and sugar sweet all for him.

Your absolute mastery over the pryo element is something she definitely admired. She likes to train with you every now and then to strengthen herself, as she saw you as a better equal. This also means that she greatly respects your opinions and thoughts, despite her own ideals usually having a priority.

She sees you as the voice of reason that guides her through tougher situations she can't handle.

Yae enjoys spending her own immortal life at your side in the shrine. Your life together is never bland, especially not with her teasing and playful nature. Your intelligence and wisdom meshes well with her own mischief and cunning version of it, which makes you both a very powerful couple unbeknownst to many. She likes taking the backseat, though, and let's you take over most things when she's feeling especially lazy that day. It just proves how much she trusts and values you and your knowledge.

With that said, she's not shy in expressing her love for how strong you are. She'll stay around to watch you train or use your abilities for even the mundanest things with an admiring glint in her eye. She compliments you for it at all times without a fail, practically making it her goal to fluster you as much as she can. She just adores you so much.

Your stomach growled hungrily in excitement as you stepped into the kitchen, Dilucs long red hair tied back in a messy bun while he prepared breakfast, his hands busy chopping vegetables and cooking up your favourites, just because he loved spoiling you. "Are you making what I think you're making?!" You asked excitedly, hurrying to his side to take a peek and smiling widely as the smell of delicious food hit your nostrils, making your tummy growl again in response.

"But of course and I made extra so you could have leftovers for lunch." He leaned over placing a kiss on the top of your head as you cheered and wrapped you arms around him in a celebratory hug. "Thank you!"

You had a bounce in your step as you made your way through the crowd of people, your long pink green hair tied up in sweet pigtails as your eyes focused in on the center of attention, which was Lyney and of course his assistant Lynette, the magic duo of the century. Pure joy bubbled through you while you watched the two of them perform trick after trick and the audience clap after each one, things you swore couldn't happen, but somehow he made them happen.

Then to your surprise his eyes landed on you, a mischievous smile taking place on his lips, as he addressed the group of watchers once again, "For the next trick, I'd like to pick someone from the audience! Hmmm what about you Belle, could you do the honours?" He pointed to you, your face instantly blushing red as you walked towards him, his hand gently taking yours and leaving a rainbow rose in its wake. "Could you hold this for me?" He asked, his cheeks slightly pink which made you want to giggle, he was kinda cute..."Okay!"

"Now put your hands together, rainbow rose on the inside and make sure no one can see it." You followed his directions, closing your hands around the rainbow rose and making sure there were no ways to peep at it, your whole body tingled with excitement as he spoke the magic words. "And reveal!" You pulled your hands away and suddenly your singular rose had turned into a whole bouquet, growing right in front of your eyes and bursting with all the colours of the rainbow.

"WHAT!"

"No matter what tests I try...it seems I'm unable to come up with a explanation for your inhuman strength. You're a mystery to me...a sweet adorable mystery." Albedo said softly, his bright blue eyes meeting yours as a blush spread rapidly across your face, your heart pounding harshly in your chest when he stood up and made his way to you, his hand reaching out to help you up from your seat.

"I'm not the only mysterious one Mr. Chalk prince, speaking of which! Do chalk people eat cake?" You beamed up at him, his arms wrapping around you as he placed a kiss on your forehead, a small chuckle escaping him. "Im not sure chalk people is the appropriate term...but either way, yes I eat cake." You hugged him back lifting him up slightly as you cheered, "Yay!! I have some in my bag! Let's go!"

Fire swirled around you in brilliant orange and yellow hues, shifting and whirling in every which way with the wind as its guide, it mesmerized you to the point you were almost speechless. "Kazuha...this is so beautiful!" Your hand squeezed his tighter, your visions glowing in harmony as he hummed in delight and placed a soft kiss on your cheek. "The way wind mixes with the elements is very calming, the colours that flow with every breeze and the way it can bring vision bearers together, letting them work in harmony. It's lovely.."

You nodded happily, your eyes trained on the incredible sight all around you...

Wanderer flashed a smirk at you, his eyes wide with excitement as you readied your weapon, the ribbon like texture of the blade making him raise an eyebrow...what the hell were you going to do with a ribbon? "You sure you don't want to back down? I won't go easy on you, even if this is sparing." His voice rang in your ears as you smiled back at him, your katana glinting in the sunlight as you held it up in his direction, "I won't back down! Just you wait!"

He chuckled and with that the match begun, the two of you shooting forward at high speed, wind blades flying mere centimeters from your face as you delicately dodged. Your body spinning slightly as you got closer, your katana swirling like a protective shield around you and yet also being sharp enough to draw blood, which became clear when the two of you parted.

The dust parting and revealing a small cut on wanderers face, his eyes absolutely shining now as he laughed maniacally, "I shouldn't have underestimated you! This is going to be fun!"

The Tsaritsa’s darling (Normalized Yandere AU)

(A/N- the main character in this mini fic is not a reader character like the other darlings in this series, but he will appear as a side character in other stories in this series)

Hidden away in the forests of Teyvat, hidden away from any particular nation. The woods were beautiful, lovely, green leaves and a rainbow of flowers, but as you got deeper the woods changed as it with the season, fading into a winter wonderland, snow, ice, and winter critters of all sorts. There in the woods is a mansion, and sitting in an the, run down mansion were two figures, sitting at a table, a chess set in between them that they played. The man was beautiful, long, silver, braided hair, he was dressed in finery of silvers, blacks, whites and blues that paired well with his light blue eyes. He was an extremely beautiful figure, but extremely week, a cane leaned against the table and he kept a handkerchief in hand because every so often he was sent into a coughing fit. This sickness didn’t worry the woman he was playing with though, except the occasional blood that came with it.

“My Lord, shouldn’t you be getting your rest? It is getting late after all.” The woman asked, moving her knight on the board. She folder her hands and waited for his response both in the game and in words. The man chuckled and moved one of his bishops.

“I should, I really should, but with recent abduction of the Actress I do not think my body will let me no matter how much it may need to.” The man stood, grabbing his cane as he did so. He had a heavy limo in his right leg, and his breathing was incredibly labored, so ill despite looking so young. He stood at the frosted over window, looking out at it before glancing back at the woman with a smile. “Also please, there is no need for titles when it’s just us, call me Andrei.”

“Very well, Andrei.” The woman replied, her gaze following the man.

“Now any updates from my favorite Historian?” Andrei question, his gaze going back onto the snowy landscape behind the glassy surface. The woman chuckled at the nickname before standing up as well, her heels clicking against the wooden floor as she came to stand beside the man. Unlike her sickly friend her eyes remained fixed on him, not on the snow outside.

“My other contact in Fontaine has left as well, she had to run in order to avoid the Knave.” She answered, looking at Andrei’s face for any reaction but none came. “Along with that out contacts from Mondstadt are with her, along with two more potential contacts from Snezhnaya.”

“Any ties to the Fatui?”

“Yes, I believe the both of them were being pursued by harbingers, nine and eleven respectively.” The woman pressed her lips thinly together in thought, slightly bothered that she was unable to get a read on the white haired man. “They both have visions, Cryo and Anemo.”

“You needn’t worry so much. If they have already been accepted by the others, they are accepted by me.” A smile came across the woman’s face at Andrei’s words. “But if I may ask where are they now?”

“They are making their way to Sumeru, presumably to meet with the Medic and Hunter...” The woman pauses on her words, chewing on her bottom lip for a moment. “Andrei, if I may give my observation, we’re unknowingly being trapped in a corner. They don’t know about our alliance but they are trapped us like a changed animal, if they find out we’ll loose, you’ll loose… I… I don’t want to go back to how things were.”

“They say cornered animals fight the fiercest, so let’s show them how we play.” Andrei finally smiled, which only gave the woman a look of shock.

“Andrei…”

“Let them know that they haven’t won yet.” Andrei walks over back to his chair and sits down, reaching over to pick up one of his chest pieces. “What Gnoses do they have yet to obtain?”

“Just that of the Pryo Archon, but I believe Capitano has thrown his hat into the arena of Natlan.” The woman watched Andrei fiddle with the chess piece in his hand before he suddenly slammed it down on the board, startling the Historian.”

”Then let us get it before them.” These words shocked his friend, and while she stumbled, looking for the right words to say, but he just smiles at her. “And perhaps we can finally beat them in this game.”

“My Lord-”

“Andrei.” He corrected. There was a muttered apology as Andrei’s eyes scanned the chess board. “After all I would like my gnosis back.”

The last piece in this game, the former Cryo Archon, who lost his throne in the Archon War. His power was stripped from his as he crushed under the heel of other gods, he was too gentle for his own good. That’s when the Tsaritsa gave him false kindness, wanting him nothing more to keep him as a plaything. He lived as her toy for many a century while he watched the Fatui be formed, the rest of Teyvat thinking he was dead while he was only being hidden within the cold halls of the Zapolyarny Palace.

When he lost all hope that’s when he met the innocent eyes of the Historian, Pierro’s darling. The two became the others only friend, then the Actress, Colombina’s darling, came along and their trapped duo became a trio. But in their captivity he had to watch the innocence of the Historian’s eyes leave her after being exposed to the secrets that the Fatui keeps locked away, his friend was breaking and he couldn’t handle it. So with an idea of a plan he used the last of his power from his archon days he was able to freeze the palace, temporarily at least. The three of them escaped, not daring to look back, the Actress went back to Fontaine but the former archon was severely weakened by the use of his power and was sent into a sickly state. So while their friend went off to see Teyvat again the Historian found a place to stay hidden, looking after the weak god and becoming his eyes and ears to Teyvat. Over time they found others like them and the knew if they didn’t do something these others would share the same fate, the soldier, the medic, the mother, the knight, the ballerina, and so on. So they began this secret game against the Fatui, stopping their plans, by cutting the threads one by one.

"all available tier mid-to-high helpers please report to city; Saltlick Mountain, block eight. thank you." the tingy drone of the autoresponse alert echoed throughout the hallway, bringing Felix's attention back to where he was.

The Hive, they called it. the company paid headquarters where they dispensed them to wherever they needed to go, like bees. or well, like fairytale bees, the ones people speak of in stories from before the moon spilled it's tears to earth.

No time for that now, he shook the thoughts loose and flicked them away, stretching as he did so.

As soon as he stepped out into the dim light of the rising sun, he flexed out his shoulders, his suit allowing for sharp bone to poke through. the pain that came with his wings unfolding became background noise to his mind as he propelled himself upwards, a mental map of the terrain leading him to Saltlick.

A loud boom rang out as he drew closer, he shook his head, a little annoyed.

A pryo, just great.

he squinted to try to get a better view before landing, assessing the damage and seeing if any fleeing civilians needed help getting to safety.

but, it seemed like it was just them down there, causing a commotion. odd.

His eyes darted when he spotted more movement near the pyro, moving towards them. he tilted his head, running through a list of who would've been available to respond, and his breath caught in his throat when he remembered.

Leo! that idiot is gonna get himself killed!

Felix urged himself forward, pushing his wings to move faster, but then,

Boom.

The shockwave from the explosion push him backwards, knocking him out of the air before he could fully register what had happened.

Fuck! he silently screamed as he felt himself hit the ground hard, concrete scraping his back and tearing at his wings.

Get Up! he tried to move, but only managed a choked gasp.

Another explosion rang out, shaking the ground under him as he struggled to get his body to cooperate.

Come on! with a final push, he managed to peel himself from the concrete, breathing heavily and wild eyed.

He steeled himself as he stood, another shockwave threatening to flatten him back to the ground.

Bones rose from his arms creeping up to the surface like vines poking through soil, curling around and sitting like armor plating his body.

the extra weight allowed him to better steady himself as he rushed towards the location of the last explosion.

The pyro stood in the middle of the block, buildings on each side marred with soot and sulfur from the fire. of course though, it would take a little more than just one pyro tier to do much damage to the buildings, some people weren't so lucky.

he grimaced, focusing his energy on carrying himself forward. his vision locked onto the pyro, turning every other thought away as he concentrated on landing each hit.

His hands burned and each breath was more of a struggle than the last, but he pushed himself forward, matching the pyro blow for blow, trying to get a good pin on them.

Vision blurring with tears stinging the corner of his eyes, he felt his steps falter, becoming sloppier and more sluggish.

Fuck! No! he bit his lip, hard, the taste of blood filling his mouth as he tried desperately to stay conscious. He coild see the pyros smile taunting him, their eyes seeming to stare through him, as though he was nothing.

This thought enraged him enough to give him a final burst of energy, managing to land a few good hits on the pyro before they managed to kick him away.

Good enough. he thought, his vision fading as he heard the retreating footsteps of the pyro. he hoped that he at least looked cool while fighting.

“You're leaving with them. Aren’t you.” y/n stated though the sentence sounded more like a question. As she leaned in the doorway of his room where he is packing a backpack of clothes.

“y/n” John sighed sadly looking at his girl with sorry eyes

“Its ok. I get it.” y/n nodded, mirroring his expression as he walked over to her. Grabbing her waist and pulling her to him, more into the room.

“I’m sorry. You know I don't want to leave you, right?” John asked looking her in the eyes. Hoping she could see and feel how he doesn’t want to leave her side. Doesn’t want to leave the love of his life.

“Yeah, yeah I know. . . You know I can’t go with you, right? I would love to, and I am more on Magneto's side. Needing to make things happen instead of waiting for things to happen on their own but-” she gave a sad shaky breath, holding on to his arms for comfort.

“But your parents are here. You don't want to be against them. I understand. You're close with them and if you left with me it would just hurt you.” John cut in. He knew how close she is with her parents. And even though they didn’t like them together at first, he knows they are important to her.

“I really do want to go with you though. I love you, and I would but-” y/n moved her hands to wrap them around his shoulders.

“No buts sweetheart. If you come with me your gonna hurt you and your parents. And if you don’t its gonna hurt you and me to be apart. Y/n, I love you and want you to come with me. But you can’t.” he pulled her closer to him. John knows this choice will hurt both of them, but he can't put her against her parents. No matter how much being apart from her will hurt him to.

“I’m gonna miss you. A lot.” y/n whimpered into his shoulder, trying not to cry. John nuzzled his face into her neck. Enjoying the last hug he’ll have with her for a while.

“I’m gonna miss you a lot to. When the fight happens, I will protect you.” he said pulling away a little cupping her face before he retrieved something from his pocket. He gently took one of her hands from around his shoulders and put the thing in her hand. “Here, take my lighter. You know I’ll come back for it and to you. We won’t be apart for to long. I promise.”

He just loves it when you curl up next to him, with your head on his chest and his arm wrapped around you so he can rub comforting circles on your abdomen or play with your hair if he wants.

When you wake up in the morning and it’s a bit chilly inside, he just loves it when you get as close to him as you can.

He normally wakes up earlier than you, so while you continue sleeping, he’ll patiently wait for you to wake up so he can give you all the good morning kisses you deserve.

Honestly, after a long day of dealing with Yashiro Commissioner things, he just can’t wait to hold you all night long. Sometimes when he wakes up, he’s already anticipating for the night to come so he can hold you close and tell you how much he loves you.

Childe:

More often than not, he’s not exactly present at home since he’s doing Fatui things. You’ve gotten accustomed going to bed alone, unfortunately.

That’s why Childe is more inclined to spoon you when he finally comes home.

It’ll be the dead of night when he quietly sneaks his way into your little cottage in Snezhnaya. The bitter cold outside was just starting to nip at him, so all he had on his mind was getting in bed with you.

He’d walk into the bedroom with soft footsteps, having already discarded of his boots at the front door along with the rest of his belongings. You’d be fast asleep, as expected, on your designated side of the bed as you snuggled a pillow beside you. Sometimes Childe wondered if you always slept on your side of the bed, hoping each night for his long-awaited return.

Carefully, Childe would climb in bed beside you and wrap an arm around you to draw you closer to him as gently as he could without disturbing you.

It wouldn’t ever take long for him to fall asleep. Between being exhausted after being away on a mission to being in your soft, comforting presence, it was impossible to not drift off into one the best sleeps he’ll ever have.

Diluc:

Chances of you actually going to bed with Diluc at the same time was pretty much half and half. Sometimes he’d be at home and accompany you to bed. Sometimes he’d had to be at Angel’s Share late and you wouldn’t see him until the morning. And then sometimes, he’d go to bed with you, but you’d wake up late in the night to find him gone on some Darknight Hero mission.

(He’d never forgive the Traveler for starting that nickname.)

Because of this, he’d settle for spooning you since if he had to leave, he could do so without bothering you much and when he came back, it would be easy to resume.

The only downside was that when he left, the extra warmth he seemed to radiate because of his vision would leave too, leaving you to get a little cold whenever he left. Normally, this wouldn’t be enough to wake you up right away.

If you did happen to wake up when Diluc was leaving, though, it was hard for him to not stay. He had such a soft spot for you, if you gave him just one little pouty look, he’d be getting back in bed before you could even ask.

Oh, but his cuddles are always the best. In comparison to you, his stature and build is much larger, so it’s like having a nice, bear hug constantly.

It was always a challenge getting up in the morning since neither one of you wanted to leave the other.

Gorou:

You and Gorou are all over each other at bedtime.

You spoon him, he spoons you, he cradles you, you cradle him – it’s just a tossup, honestly. There’s not preference, as long as you two are with each other and comfortable.

He’s normally tired at the end of the day after doing all his general duties, so it’s not hard for him to just find a spot amongst the blankets and pillows with you and be perfectly content.

If it’s within easy reach, yes, you will brush his tail hehe. He acted super embarrassed about it at first, even though you two are dating. He didn’t view you in the same way as Yae Miko on this sort of thing, but he did feel anxious about you knowing this about him! He was okay with you knowing his secrets, of course, but this!! Kazuha:

For starters, if you and Kazuha are on a voyage on the Crux, you both just have to squeeze in somewhere to occupy what little space is available on the ship. There was really no set “position” as long as you two could sleep comfortably in those conditions.

However, whenever the ship was docked and you two were staying in Liyue Harbor for a little bit, you could take up as much room as possible!

You two would definitely take advantage of this opportunity and spread out in the inn’s bed as much as you possibly could.

At least he would. Kazuha would sprawl out like a little starfish, with one arm out to the side while the other would be underneath his head and his legs outstretched. The free arm would be your invitation to cuddle him hehe

You’d fill in the space next to him, either facing him or not since both worked just fine. If you faced him, his free arm would wrap around you to hold you to him while an arm and leg of yours would drape across his body. If you faced away, the free arm would just be a little pillow for you and yes, it would definitely be numb in the morning but that didn’t matter! As long as you were happy hehe

Kaeya:

One thing you didn’t expect from Mondstadt’s heartthrob was how punctual he was to bed. Not that Kaeya had a specific bedtime, but if you were going to bed, he was, too. It was endearing, really. You didn’t have to wait up for him and the nights where he wasn’t at home all night, he’d somehow always return right when you were getting ready for bed. He just knows, ya know.

Most of the time, you lay beside him with your head on his chest and an arm around his torso. Kaeya would rate this a 9 out of 10 for reasons he wouldn’t disclose, but you were sure one point was deducted just because he couldn’t easily give you kisses like that.

However, some nights this wasn’t the case. Sometimes, after having one too many to drink that night, he’d find a comfy spot in the bed beside you, wrap his arms around you and rest his head in the crook of your neck.

Not exactly sure why, but Itto insists that you sleep on top of him. Not that you’re complaining. It was rather comfortable.

Since your head would be on his chest, you could hear his heartbeat clearly, which always lulled you to sleep very quickly. His arms would wrap around you in a nice hug.

Yeah, good luck trying to get up or leave. Itto was not letting that happen.

And it’s not like you could leave without waking him up. He was a light sleeper, so the slightest move would cause him to stir. He knows exactly what he’s doing.

Your only fear was if he rolled over, which hasn’t happened yet, but you always have that little thought in your head. At this point, it’s just an irrational fear of yours.

Oh, and whereas this sleeping position of y’all’s might warrant some chuckles, the Arataki gang does not even pretend like they’re amused by this.

Itto will definitely challenge them to an all or nothing onikabuto fight. You’re not sure what the “all or nothing” implies, but you know Itto’s pretty harmless, so you assume it’s nothing bad.

At least… you hope it’s not.

Thoma:

Thoma is always exhausted when it’s time for bed! He’s been doing all sorts of stuff for the Kamisato household and now that there’s a new outlander in town, he’s been dealing with that, too.

So when you two are in bed, he clings to you, wrapping his arms around you and placing his head on your chest. He just wants to take it easy before he has to do it all again tomorrow.

On the days where he’s not exhausted and yearning for your touch after a stressful day, the roles are reversed. But when is this man not running all over Inazuma helping out whoever he can?

(And when he is not yearning for you? Hello, this man is head over heels for you!)

Sometimes you wish he’d just sit still and take a day off, but you know that’s not going to happen. No matter how many times you and the Kamisato siblings tell him it’s okay to slow down, he just can’t. But, you have to admit, when he winds down for the night and is all snuggly and warm, you do love those moments just as much as when he’s not falling asleep as soon as his head hits the pillows.

And when you play his hair!! Yes, please!! Braid it, tie it up, give him silly hair do’s – he loves it!! Literally helps him get to sleep faster.

Albedo:

Albedo rarely went to bed with you. He’d always be up late, taking notes or continuing an experiment he was working on until it was finished or completed enough to his satisfaction.

The times he would go to bed with you, he’d stay up with his nose deep in a book while you laid at his lap, sleeping peacefully.

The times he wouldn’t go to bed with you, though, would be much different, as expected.

He wouldn’t want to wake you up, since he knew sleep was important (to everyone except him, apparently), so he’d settle for just occupying the space beside you. He’d make no move to touch you, afraid the slightest movement would cause you to stir.

He’d fall asleep with his back to you on the opposite side of the bed, only to wake up in the morning with you spooning him.

Or, on other occasions, he’d wake up face to face with you in the center of the bed, hands intertwined between the both of you.

He had no preference, really, but he was starting to think being spooned was one of the best things in life.

Scaramouche:

Would insist on sleeping back-to-back. You expected as much, but you kind of wished Scara would at least make an attempt at physical affection.

But he did! Just in secret hehe.

He’d wait until you fell asleep to roll over and spoon you and after a while, he’d drape an arm over your torso to hold you closer to him.

Sometimes you’d be awake to witness this and would smile to yourself, not understanding why he couldn’t do this when he thought you were awake. You had been together long enough anyways, so it wouldn’t be a surprise for you to see him affectionate.

Unfortunately, it was starting to be a surprise when he was affectionate since it was so rare. Maybe he was just trying to keep you on your toes…

Nevertheless, you’d both fall asleep like that, and sometime during the night, his hand would slip underneath the shirt you wore to rest comfortingly on your stomach.

You can guarantee that this display of affection would be gone in the morning. He always woke up before you, so by the time you stirred, he’d already be up and out of bed, leaving no sign of any cuddles.

Xiao:

Just trying to get Xiao to sleep with you was a battle. You knew as a yaksha he didn’t need to sleep and he wouldn’t, but just trying to convince him to at least pretend was like talking to a wall.

It wasn’t until you told him that it’d help comfort you at night since you were wary of being alone sometimes. He couldn’t just leave you to yourself then, right?

He was definitely super rigid at first. Not only had he no experience with this sort of thing, he felt awkward being in this position. He settled for just sitting beside you and to make him feel better, you let him (though one day you were going to get him to cuddle you!).

He’d be sitting up, his legs outstretched in front of him while you laid beside him with your head in his lap. For the first couple of weeks, his arms were either crossed in front of his chest or out beside him. But he slowly got comfortable with touching you.

He’d gently stroke your hair as you slept or place a comforting hand on your arm.

The only downside to all of this was if and when he had to leave during the night to protect Liyue. He’d try his best to slip out of the bed as quietly as possible, but he could never do it just right and leave you awake and saying quiet goodbyes to him. Those were always the worst.

Zhongli:

Ideally, Zhongli would like to spoon you when bedtime rolled around.

However, most of the time, you’d end up sprawled across his legs or curled up in his lap as he told you endless stories to help you sleep.

Don’t get me wrong, he enjoyed this just as much. Sometimes he wondered, though, if the reason you always fell asleep during these times was because you thought he was boring. This was not true, as you quite enjoyed his stories.

But, since he’d tell you them when you were sleepy and curled up next to him and his deep voice just gave you a wonderful sense of comfort, you couldn’t help but doze off when he’d tell you some little snippet of Liyue’s history.

The position would be similar to that of you and Xiao’s, though, Zhongli would not be uncomfortable with holding you or running his fingers through your hair. That, and you weren’t exactly always confined to his side. Sometimes you’d laid out across his legs, as said before, in between them, or even just sitting up next to him with your head on his shoulder.

It really didn’t matter to Zhongli, though. As long as you were getting a good night’s sleep, he was content.

Venti:

Just lots and lots of cuddles honestly. You and Venti are just very loving toward each other, so bedtime is just full of cuddles.

It can range from spooning to just holding each other, to whatever y’all are feeling at the moment. I feel like y’all would mostly settle for just holding each other tight, face-to-face so you can pepper kisses on each other cheeks when needed hehe.

Venti is away a lot due to his free spirit, so when he comes home to you, you both want to spend as much time as possible with each other.

So pretty much you’re both just in each other’s arms until he leaves again.

I think like Xiao, though, when the time to leave comes, it’s always heartbreaking since he can’t even leave without you waking up since you’re both so close and tightly embraced. Sorrowful goodbyes are whispered to each other, and small kisses planted all over your face before he departs.

He never wants to leave, but sometimes he has to. But you know he’ll always be back sometime. The constant breeze flowing through your open windows during all hours of the day lets you know as much.

Aether:

Being Aether’s travelling companion has gotten you used to staying in weird inns and small tents pitched in the middle of nowhere. Before spending your time with him, you definitely wouldn’t have been able to live like this, or even if you were alone. Between Aether’s comforting presence and Paimon’s comedic relief, the otherwise uncomfortable trips were made pleasant to you.

Aether knew you were a bit timid when it came to new places. After meeting you during his stay in Mond, he asked you to accompany him on his travels to other places. You were very apprehensive, since you had never left Mondstadt before. But Aether reassured you that nothing bad would happen to you on his watch, and Paimon said she’d beat him up if he did let something bad happen to you. Nonetheless, you were welcomed to his travelling team with open arms!

With you being so nervous in new areas where danger seemed to lurk around every corner, you couldn’t help but always curl up right beside the blonde when nightfall came around. You’d have your head on his chest and an arm holding him to you – not out of force but out of reassurance he was still there and hadn’t left you.

Sometimes Aether opted to sleep on his side, in which case your head would be underneath his chin and your body close to his, each with an arm loosely around each other.

a cryo and pryo abyss mage spawned and tried to kill you since you walked to close to their hideout

you could easily deal with the pryo but the cryo mage was causing to much problems

and that's when your knight in shine armour saved you

diluc came in and finished off the pryo mage and quickly dealing with the cryo one but soon got surprised ambushed by a pryo mage

which hurt him in the process, while you tried your best to heal him and distract the abyss mages

healing him was your small token of gratitude and he couldn't be more thankful

after all that sometimes diluc will come to your house after doing his night protrols and help him patch up

anyways Jean was still quite busy with her work but tried to visit you and Barbara when she has a little free time

kaeya has teased you non stop since you catch both the attention of his brother AND the acting grand master

Scaramouche isn’t trusting person, even when you both starting dating, so the fact that you were mute rubbed him the wrong way because he though you were purposely deceiving him. Which lead to him asking other agents or harbingers if you were really mute and finding out that you were for a personal reason (they might be harbinger but they respect trauma), later that night confronting you about his mistrust and you both came clean about your past (maybe not all of it but what mattered). Ever since, your lover is very protective of you especially when he can’t be around you and whenever you need to go somewhere he assigns his most trusted subordinates to you. Spotting him learning sign language from another colleague in order to better understand you without you having to write things on paper and use your vision to communicate what you wanted.

This is one of those situations where you would’ve love to have the balladeer by your side as you got yelled at by a Fatui agent who mistook you for a trespasser and was currently gripping your arm tightly while threatening to hurt you or worse take you to his superior. At first Scaramouche was beyond irritated at the nerve a lowly lackey had to even barge in unannounced with something to trivial as a trespasser but then he locked eyes with you and saw how distraught you clearly were. You tried to sign to him but the agent snatched your wrist to berate you for trying to talk your way out of it and smirking at your when he saw the sixth harbinger stride over emotionless.

Childe and Dottore knew what was about to happen and only wished they had some fire-water to go with the show happening in-front of them, not even bothering to contain the hurricane of fury that was about to rain down. “They’re all your lord harbinger. You slowly swirled the maroon liquid that sat in your glass, and you glanced at where the ginger should be sitting across from you, but he wasn't and probably never will.

It was late already, the moon high in the sky and finally the jingling of the keys from outside the door. You looked down at the papers sitting on the table infront of you, your nerves were rising, and the heavy footsteps and served to make then worse.

"Ajax," You called out and he stopped in his tracks.

"I want a divorce, I can't stand this anymore." You spoke, you could feel the air get colder and you breaths quickened. " Please sign the papers." You said, standing up and leaving to the upper levels of the house you used to share.

Childe on the other hand was fuming, how could you do that to him, after all he's done. He picked the stack of papers up and threw them into the fire. He was certain he could mend the relationship, not for his or your sake, but for the fact that you were powerful, a smart engineer that provides to the fatui. If this marriage was to fail, who knows what would happen to him, or his family. He'll talk to you in the morning.

"Come on." The business man said, but his eyes were still glued on the papers that littered his desk. And a pryo gunslinger walked in, holding a stack of papers. And he saluted the man sitting before him.

"My lord, Mx -Name- has sent these papers and said that her majesty has already approved." He gently gave the folder to the harbinger, who only got angrier the more he read. But if you looked at him, he only looked mildly annoyed.

He sat up abruptly, causing the mage to fall and hit the floor. And in the blink of an eye the regrator left the room.

When he found you, you were already packed up. He could only stare at you and you did as him.

"Is something the matter Regrator?" You asked, mild glee was on your face as he looked at all that was happening. "If not I must go, the boat to Fontaine is leaving soon." You said and walked away. He could only watch as you left and for the first time in a while, people weren't afraid to gossip about him in the vicinity.

" Mx -Name-'s power extended far past the fatui, how could he mess up like that" one said.

"All he had to do was be a good person and he couldn't even do that" Another cackled.

"Or don't forget the number of women that he slept besides his partner." One spoke
