🌟💃 have some big news! You are looking at the newest resident artist at the 205 Collaborative in downtown Greensboro! I signed on and got my keys yesterday!! I am super thrilled, nervous excited and I took the leap! I felt immediately embraced by this creative community and they feel like family already. ❤️🙌💐👩‍🎨👩🏻‍🚒 Edited to add: There are carpenters there, woodworkers, Potters, Painters, Sculptors, there’s a kin and wood being cut outside! Dogs walking around. Everyone was very warm and welcoming and some even knew who I am?! Like what?? There’s even a man who makes guitars who drives down DC. 👩‍🎨👏👏 It’s a locked and gated community that is open for the public to see the art and meet the artists at Open Studio Day’s: on the 2nd Saturday of every month! These two come in a pair! Named "Pollock Parallelism" Inspired by Jackson Pollock, one of my favorite Abstract Artists'. It's easy to see & imagine a painting when the contents of the piece consist of a landscape or portrait. Imitation is the biggest form of flattery & believe it or not is how we inspire ourselves to reach into our own relm of creation. There is no rules, no staying in the lines, no walls.
