Creamy Southern Coleslaw

Summertime means a lot of outdoor barbecuing and lighter foods to offset the heat. With just the right amount of that sweet and tangy dressing we all love, this is the best coleslaw recipe! Can someone please explain why I like purple cabbage more than green cabbage when they literally taste the same and the only difference is the color?!

P.S microwaved cabbage is one of my favorite veggies as a child and still is one of my safe veggies.

The McDonald's Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Burger (Ala Carte S$8.50) is one of the three burgers from their Signature Collection menu. It comes with a crispy boneless chicken thigh flavoured with buttermilk and packed in a glazed burger bun. Served with white cheddar cheese, romaine lettuce, black pepper mayo; and topped with grilled pineapple rings and crisp purple cabbage slaw. Yum, a nice eat for dinner.

The next item I tried is the Strawberry Pie (S$1.70). The crispy and flaky pastry crust is filled with luscious jam fillings and chunky strawberry bits in every bite. The overall flavour isn’t bad but it is not something I will buy again.

The main reason I went to McDonald's today is because of this new Lychee Oolong Soft Serve (S$1.20). You get that fruity flavour from the lychee and roasted notes from the oolong tea.
