Because Moana doesn't have a live-action media counterpart, like Ariel does in the Once Upon a Time series and the upcoming remake of her story, I decided to make the collage of them one image column shorter. Like with the collage I did of Elsa x Mulan, seeing people use the RBTI versions of Ariel and Moana, along with another group editing Luca and Alberto as them in their modern RBTI clothes, was what got me to include them in this collage.

I have been meaning to do this character introduction for a while, but I didn't like the way I had originally drawn him. Finally, I have updated his design and now I love him, so...

OC Introduction #3

(WIR Edition)

Say hello to Lord Lucas Chamoy-Amargo!

Attire:

A yellow-orange button up shirt, covered on the shoulders with chili powder. He wears a reflective dark red, slightly red-violetish vest made from the Lucas Gusano wrapper and suspenders made from Salsagheti strings and clipped on with Rebanaditas lollipop clips.

His slacks are a dark green, that goes all the way down into his cowboy boots. Designed into the sides of his boots are the faces of smiling ducks wearing sunglasses- a reference to the Lucas brand mascot [Does he have a name? Not as far as I know].

One final thing I'd like to point out is that Lucas' hair isn't made of hair: it is made out of the Pelon Pelo Rico soft tamarind candy! His hair gets really mushy when it's wet, hardens when it's cold, and it can melt onto itself on very hot days.

Bio and Backstory:

In the early days of development for Sugar Rush, the developers had wanted to add diversity to the kingdom by including race tracks to represent candies of the flavor origins, each with their own assigned racer. Fourteen year old Lord Lucas Chamoy-Amargo was meant to be the Lord of his own sour town, and a direct rival to Vanellope in lore! He is themed after Chili-powdered and tamarind flavored/pulp candies! His town was meant to be western-inspired, being placed just outside the boundaries of the Candy Savannah [the area where the Kart Bakery is at].

As Vanellope's rival, the developers had wanted to make him more challenging to players that were using the other racers. So they had set Lucas' CPU stats above those of the average Sugar Rush racer. This, however, made it to where Lucas can see and interact with videogame layers below what can actually be seen by players or other characters. This caused problems for the programmers since he'd often find himself getting infected by viruses, so in the end, they decided building Lucas' town wasn't worth it...

After Wreck-It Ralph:

Lucas' story is more in line with that of Theresa's After Wreck-It Ralph canon, since I had initially planned for Lucas to be the antagonist of a potentially cancelled Wreck-It Ralph sequel I wanted to write to replace RBTI in my universe [IDK, it might just be on hiatus, but I haven't been working on it]. He would have originally distrusted Vanellope so greatly that he'd team up with Turbo- who would have been hidden layers below the game due to Vanellope resetting the game before he could respawn.

Despite this sequel not happening, the story still goes that Vanellope in my canon had gotten bored with the same old and went into her game's Code Room after learning of other deleted content that could still be used. Lord Lucas' character was one of them, along with Theresa Truffla Treat. Lord Lucas was greatly confused by the amount of time that had passed, as well as why his town never became a reality. He was also confused by Sourbill's place in the kingdom, since Sourbill was originally meant to be his servant [Recall back to Theresa's bio when I said Sourbill replaced Theresa after they deleted her; that's because they already had Sourbill made as a servant for Lucas. Remove Lucas, you are left with a butler; Remove Theresa, you are left with a princess that needs a servant. Put the two ends together and you have Princess Vanellope and Sourbill]

Without a place to call home, Vanellope was kind enough to let Lucas stay at her castle for the time being- she wasn't using it that much anyways since she was always with Ralph. Eventually, the other townfolk came together to help build Lucas his town hall based on the developers' plans for his town in the Candy Savannah. Lucas oversaw everything, and in the end it came out just right!

Personality:

As a sour character, he is naturally very bitter and deadpanned in most of his interactions. He is also an impatient child, so he can quickly be aggravated. Additionally, because his theme includes chili-powder, he can also be very Hot-headed! When he gets angry, he gets ANGRY!!!

It is with his temper that he doesn't find himself having many friends amongst his fellow racers. For those that do try to get close to him though, they will find he actually can be tenderhearted. He is like a tamarind- although the candies and delicacies made from it are sour and/or spicy, the pulp itself is actually sweet.

Love Interest:

Lucas does eventually find himself a love interest in the land of Sugar Rush. Although the relationship was not immediately a success at first, he was able to patch things up with Jubileena Bing-Bing and found a partner in her!

In the Next-Gen, he settles down with Jubileena and has two children with her:

Sabrosita Chamoy-Bing-Bing and Cerecita Chamoy-Bing-Bing (Bios to be made soon)

Rachel (re)watches: Raya and the Last Dragon

this is one of those movies that I really enjoyed in the moment but the more thought I gave it the more holes I noticed. But my sister hasn’t seen it yet so I guess I’ll give it another watch

Felix v1 (WIR) vs. Felix v2 (RBTI)

Safe to say, Felix's appearance in RBTI isn't exactly accurate to his appearance in WIR (due to rebuilding his model from scratch). Here's some differences, with the clarification for the v2 counterpart in parentheses.

General (cuter)

Eyes (smaller and slightly farther apart?)

Eyebags (less pronounced)

Eye brows (browner)

Cheeks (less rosy)

Another thing, the Funko Soda of Felix uses his old appearance rather than the new one. Also goes for the 2018 edition of the Felix plush. Still, the Once Upon a Studio and Disney Magic Kingdoms use the new rendition of Felix.

Quiz Time!

((So I’m trying to figure out something about some quotes on a WIR Wiki article that is experiencing an edit war between me (an admin, for context) and one or two specific people who (I feel) prefer a cruftier set of quotes that I personally feel leans more like an indescriminate list than a useful section on what I’m trying-and-failing to whip into an upstanding wiki encyclopedia site thing. But I’m willing to cede if maybe it’s just a me thing.

So if you’ve seen RBTI (and preferably WIR as well), I need you to, without looking up the answers (because that will help make it clear where the “line” is), tell me in regards to the list entries at the end of this post:

Who said the quote

If you consider this quote “memorable”

(Some will probably be immediately obvious on 1, which is why 2 is also a question, because there are quotes that I know who said it but still don’t think it’s “memorable” myself, the way that, like “aaaah” or something to that effect is a quote on Vanellope’s page (which I haven’t gotten to touching, because I put a freeze on copyediting quotes sections when this edit war started up XP). So basically I’m trying to figure out which quotes are wholly obscure to most people’s memory and which are easily-identified but maybe still not important enough to include.)

I’m trying to get an accurate, semi-random lay of people uninvolved in the dispute, since a lot of discussions on WIR Wiki in this day and age involve there usually being two individuals (often including me) who might end up being an unstoppable-force-and-immovable-object kind of deal. I’m looking to get a wider breadth of opinions without canvassing specifically for people who might just “side with” me.

So here are the quotes:

“It was lovely to meet you, Vanellope.”

There are other quotes that are less in dispute, but at this point I’ve moved the “line” back so far that I no longer am sure what else I originally considered unencyclopedically unmemorable. (At this point I’m backed against a wall and unwilling to go further “back” though, unless a lot more people than those one or two spearheading these think they’re important enough for inclusion.)

After seeing other people's drawings of Ariel and Luca as friends, as well as Luberto fans editing Luca and Alberto as RBTI Ariel and Moana, I thought it was finally time to do a crossover friendship collage on these two underwater Disney characters.

Adding in Ralph Breaks the Internet Ariel is to reference those manips I mentioned and Sofia the First was just me wanting to feature Luca with a CGI Ariel in her mermaid form. Featuring animated characters with CGI ones is a little odd to me, unless they are featured in the same style rather than two different ones beside one another.

I HAVE A LOT TO SAY I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN WHAT TO SAY???!!!

Huge Spoilers down

- The movie’s aesthetics and visuals are so beautiful and the animation IMPROVED you get to see our characters making so many expressions and movement (but that’s not a surprise lol dragons 3 did it but Frozen 2 slayed through) I can’t wait for this movie to release digitally every scene are insane (kristoff pedicure tho!)

- A lot of Iduna x Agnarr stuff and answers and I’m v satisfied (actually basically every of my wishes have been granted in this movie)

- I could catch what looked like references to old fanarts 👀

- regarding the previous teasers and knowing that Olaf would have more screen time made afraid he’d annoy me the f- but he was actually funny!! Love him!

- Lt mattias is totally adorable and sometimes a dork!! I wanted to see the anna/mattias dynamic and THEY THREW IT ON THE TABLE

- The interaction between Elsa and Bruni was so adorable. (I though this lizard was going to annoy me but nope) It was so cute seeing Elsa discovering she isn’t the only one with powers (and bruni makes a cute subtle parallel with elsa’s uncontrollable power tho!)

- The Hans mentions are hilarious! Especially the one Santino Fontana was talking about (another explosion of Hans, gif makers we waiting for you to make the parallel with the one in bh6). I wanted to see a true flashback though with actual brand new animation of him and not a white version of his scenes from the first movie. I am sorry to tell the hansdom there are no explanations of his motivations at all (through I think theres nothing to explain, he irredeemable monster and that’s on periodt) there are just some « insulting » mentions

- Elsa goes from snow queen™ to snow goddess™ 💁🏼‍♀️ .

- What to say about Kristoff’s 80’s music video clip omg.. sksksk

- Also, every Kristanna interactions are CUTE. There are a total of 2 Kristanna kisses if you don’t count the brand freshly reanimated flashback kiss from litw

- I thought Kristoff suffered from the calhoun and felix in rbti syndrome til: 1) Anna apologized 2) Kristoff already had an amazing character development in the first movie, all was left was to show him being a dork for Anna and support her when she needs and for that, merci! And 3) He actually the driver (btw there is no sled crash and that’s deceiving)

- I forgot to say that Anna has her periods in this movie

- I never expected they’d show us Elsa being COLD, and actually FREEZING TO DEATH just LIKE ANNA with her hair turning white and stuff (this scene gave me GOOSEBUMPS)

- btw I think Elsa is not immortal since she died. After that she just fixed Arendelle with her magic but it didn’t made her powers evolving at all (through it does evolve since she was born)

- The next right thing was so emotional and strong! Anna was left all alone with the heartbreak of Elsa and Olaf’s death and she managed to STAND UP and save the forest. I call it quality character development.

- Honeymaren totally crushes on Elsa, she’s the one who told Elsa to stay in the forest (their dialogues were cute, we are waiting for the 3rd movie about their love story)

- THAT ICE BROS HUG add it to the collection of rare interactions between Kristoff and Elsa

- Actually, THE VERY FROHANA HUG AT THE ENDING OMG (I want an oil painting!!)

- Anna as Queen, I mean QUEEN ANNA!! We want a sequel!! (Say what you want, think what you think, Frozen II has the best ending for the sisters and their character development, through it kinda means it’s the last movie of the saga) and don’t worry you guys Elsa and Anna are still communicating and Elsa still comes to the castle time to time.

- The moral of the story is so basic but told in a such EPIC way. It was so relatable and got me right in the feels. I don’t want to say it beats the first movie (bc this one is so epic too) but it 1000% match it! We have one of the best wdas movie if not best of all time and the best wda sequel

Edit: i like how Anna is still kinda the protagonist in this movie like in the first one
