possible explanations for Baymax being able to get 10 bags full of menstrual products:

Hiro updated his programming so he can have a bit of money linked to a debit card or something

Baymax has no money but found an employee instead. Baymax politely and calmly told them that he needs to get a small city's worth of pads and tampons right away, you see he has a patient and it's very urgent, and the cashier who does NOT get paid enough to argue with or explain the concept of capitalism to an 8 foot tall crimefighting robot was like "man, just go"

Baymax knows exactly how money and capitalism works but thinks it has no place in medicine, and regularly just straight-up shoplifts in the name of free and effective healthcare

One of the things I love about the animation in Baymax! is how it looks EXACTLY like the movie. Not less quality, but also not “more”.

The characters don’t look “off” like so many sequels/shorts made years after the original, because of changed animation or character models (lbr, it’s because even Disney knows the animation from the original movie was already perfect!)

And I’m not just talking about the quality of the animation, but Hiro’s little quirks and facial expressions when he moves and talks are SPOT ON! (Same for Aunt Cass and Baymax, I at least didn’t notice anything that felt off,)

They genuinely feel like the same characters from 2014.

I’ve been thinking about Baymax!Cas ever since I watched Big Hero 6 for the first time the other day! Baymax reminded me so much of Cas, he is squishable and all he wants to do is help humans!! ☺️

the best part of BH6: the series is that Tadashi gets an honary degree and Hiro is the one to accept it, not to mention the memorial table at the front of the stage.

one thing about big hero 6 that I wholeheartedly adore is that we can just universally agree that baymax is on everyone’s list of comfort characters. he is a staple, a forever loved friend, a very cuddly marshmallow boy. he brings everyone - everyone - joy and comfort. the world sucks so bad pretty much all the time but at least we can come together to give baymax lots of love.

the wish fulfillment of the big hero 6 universe isn’t all the superhero stuff, it’s the dream of having any illness or injury, no matter how big or small, attended to by a healthcare professional who is completely focused on you and your problem, would never brush off or downplay your symptoms, will instantaneously assess what’s wrong and come up with a treatment plan for it, and won’t charge you a dime. and then give you a lollipop.
