Summary: Logan Sanders was not a rich man. He lived in the poverty sector of the city of Archaeus, where crates were remodeled into barely-livable huts, food and water were scarce, and crime was abundant. Chapter 2: A Trade

logan strikes a deal.

Logan leaned against the cool and rough material of the wall, a bored expression set into his face. He glanced down at the watch on his wrist, showing that the Duke and the Snake were 11 minutes late. 

Not surprising, but still irritating nonetheless. 

Finally , after about 13 more minutes and 27 seconds (not that Logan was counting or anything), the door finally creaked open to show two figures. They both looked a little more haggard than last time Logan met them, but that wasn’t a surprise in this city. 

The Snake still looked relatively the same, the same carefully styled up blonde hair that he seemed to meticulously take care of, same ‘fancy’ (but obviously old and weathered) clothes, same scars, and the same smug smirk on his face that made Logan want to punch them sometimes.

The Duke was a little more different, but that was a give-in with his personality. Xe changed like the wind and xyr person reflected that. His faded green hair had now been dyed a bright neon green at the ends and in random streaks in his hair. New injuries were stark against his deeply tanned skin (also not a surprise). Mismatched clothes and combat boots (freshly stolen, Logan noted), and a wild grin to top it all off. 

Logan sighed, this was gonna be a long one. 

He gave them a level look, holding up his watch for them to see. 

“You’re late,” he said flatly, irritation clear in his tone.

“Fashionably,” the Snake said, waltzing into the room with an air of charm that made Logan want to snort in derision. “And also, Corvid, dear, who carries around a watch anymore?”

“They’re useless, nerd!” the Duke chimed in, a look of glee on xyr face. 

“It’s more handy than you might think,” Logan said, but provided no other explanation. The Snake raised an eyebrow, but let the topic rest.

“Do you have it, Corvid?” they drawled, crossing their arms. 

Logan scoffed, “Of course, I’m not an idiot.” He planted one foot on the crate full of tech and pushed it to the two. 

The Snake gave him a skeptical look, but opened the crate. His eyebrow raised again before he closed it, an impressed look on his face. 

“Impressive,” he commented. “This was a bit more of a…expensive haul that we requested from you.” 

“I’ll say,” Logan muttered, which the Snake willfully ignored. “Now, what about your end of the deal?” 

“Already on it!” The Duke cheerfully called out, slinging a sack that hung on his shoulder onto the floor. Logan knelt down to look inside, revealing that it had food in it. Fresh fruit (Logan would have to eat those sooner rather than later), and other non-perishable things (canned meats, dried fruits, etc., etc.). Logan looked up at them.

“And the other part of our trade?” he asked. The Duke grabbed a box from behind him and slid it over. Logan grabbed a knife from his belt and cut it open, showing the numerous weapons. Knives, a few guns, and ammo. He narrowed his eyebrows at another, unfamiliar shape. He grabbed it and inspected it.

“Brass knuckles?” Logan asked, looking up at the Snake and the Duke. 

“Equipped with…what are they called again, Rem—Duke?” 

“Tasers! They shock ya if you touch the ‘knuckles’ part of it,” xe grinned wildly. “They were an addition from yours truly.” Xe gave a mock bow with a flourish of xyr hand.

“I’m not surprised the Snake didn’t know about it then,” Logan deadpanned. 

“The Serpent,” they corrected.

“Okay, Snake.”

Logan stood up, closing the box and slinging the bag over his shoulder. “Now if we’re done here—“

“Ah, wait just a minute, Corvid,” the snake interrupted. They seemed to choose their words carefully. “We require…several more parts that are not currently accessible to us nor in this crate you gave us. And we were wondering if you were perhaps up to getting them for us?” 

Logan stared at them. “And what’s in it for me, exactly?” 

“Information.”

“You expect me to do something for you to get information? Information about what?” Logan actually laughed a little in incredulity. 

“Syneuron. And what they’re up to,” the Snake replied immediately. “We know you have a bit of a… personal vendetta against them.” 

Logan’s robotic hand started to raise automatically to his right eye, but he let it fall back down before he carried through with the motion, hand clenching into a fist. 

“…fine,” he said at last. “What parts do you need?”

“It’s something for one of the Duke’s projects, but what he needs can only be found from the T-140s,” they said apologetically. 

Logan stared at them again. “You mean the type of robot that patrols only the rich-fucks sector and is highly equipped with multiple weapons and cameras? And are highly protected against any attackers? That T-140?”

They nodded.

Logan ran a hand down his face and exhaled. “Okay. Okay. Fine, whatever, I’ll deal with it. Now can I go?”

“Yep! Have fun, dork!” The Duke shouted out gleefully. “Did you know that dork means—“

“I know what it means,” Logan cut xem off but it was futile.

“—whale penis!” 

Logan walked out of the back of the building, leaving the two behind. He carried the box in one arm, balanced precariously, and slung the bag of food over his shoulder. He took several shortcuts and back alleys before walking back the normal route to his…’home’. (A crate didn’t feel like home, Logan couldn’t help but think to himself. It never did no matter how many years he had lived in it. He didn’t know where his home was, but it sure wasn’t where he was now.) 

…Or perhaps living quarters would be the better term.

Going through the motions of entering, he plopped both the bag and the box down by his sleeping roll. 

Looking around the small, cramped quarters, Logan couldn’t help but feel a little cold pit in his chest grow bigger. The Duke and the Snake were asses, but at least they were company. Logan sorely lacked that nowadays. (He can’t really remember a time when he wasn’t alone if he’s being honest with himself.)

(Well, he can remember one time.)

Pushing that thought out of his head, he steadied himself. He had survived for years with no company. He was used to it, he could deal with it, he even preferred it. 

(And if he didn’t really believe in that last one, well, that was nobody’s business but his.)

“Nice to meet you too..yn..” Gojo smiled sickly.

Yuji grabbed yn’s wrists and pulled him around excited to show him everything he’d learnt. Gojo was bewildered. I mean yn was fucking- jaw dropping handsome!

Gojo was too busy to worry about a girlfriend. He never really thought he’d be jerking off to some fucking guy he met that same day…

Gojo was a very flirty guy, he’s always flirting with women who’d obviously get down on their knees for him if he asked and yet still he finds nothing interesting about them.

Gojo was a sensitive guy when it came to his dick, he’s never been inside anything at all. He was now rutting into his pillow pretending it was yn.

Yn was dragging Gojo back to his house and lied him on his bed getting him some water.

“Satoru, drink” He sat the white haired male up and handed him the drink.

“N…no it’s too hic h..hot..” He pushed the drink away and tried to take his shirt off but yn stopped him.

“‘Toru- if you’re hot maybe you should take this fucking..blindfold off” yn slid the cloth off Satoru’s head and his eyes widened at this guys eyes…

“Your eyes…” He whispered pushing some hair out of Gojo’s face who blushed looking into yn’s hues.

“They’re gorgeous..” He smiled making Gojo’s insides spin.

“Take my..c-clothes o hic off…” He whined successfully pulling his shirt off leaving him only in his pants. Yn scoffed and grabbed Gojo’s jaw forcing him to look at him.

You stretched your arms, pajama shirt riding up slightly as you yawned, dramatically walking into the bathroom. Sungchan was already standing there with a toothbrush in his mouth. Once he saw you, he smiled at you, wrapping his arm around you. Both of you had busy schedules and your alone time was a gift from god. Your night routine consisted of this, Sungchan sitting on the bathroom counter and yapping away to his heart's content as you did your skincare. At times, he would be curious and ask if he could try a particular serum or face mask, or when he was feeling bored he would ask if he could do all the steps for you. After you were done, both of you each other's arms, reveling in each other's warmth. It was a comfortable routine to fall into and you both made sure to clear out your schedule for this.

“And then he fell headfirst,” your boyfriend explained. You gave him a concerned look through the mirror as he fiddled with one of your headbands. 

“I’m sorry what??” he looked up at your slightly concerned face “is Anton okay??”

Once he was cornering you, he ripped the packet open with his teeth, making straight eye contact with you, before grinning widely.

“I was thinking we could put them on for each other!” he beamed at you. You shook your head, so done with him using his pretty privilege over people (you).

Sungchan had struggled with your mask (he put it on upside down… twice, and was sticking his tongue out adorably when you opened your eyes for a second). When it came to his turn, to your surprise, he held you by the waist and hoisted you up onto the counter.

“Because you’re short.” he patted your head. You narrowed your eyes at him and snatched the mask out of his hand. Sungchan leaned forward, and you cupped his cheeks.“Close your eyes, Channie,” you patted his face gently.

“But I won't be able to look at you, pretty.” he said, frowning and leaning forward to peck your lips. You felt your cheeks heat up and Sungchan closed his eyes with a dopey smile on his face. 

“Oh I bought a bunch of these as well.” You said, scooping up the assortment of lip balms on the table. Sungchan looked up from his phone, his eyes crinkling endearingly, when he saw u applying the pink one. “Do you want to try?” he nodded, and you looked down to choose one when he grabbed your jaw and placed his lips on yours. 

“Hm, I think you should try all of them on,” his grin was evident on his face. “And then I'll choose.” You smacked his arm and he chuckled, wrapping his arm around you, his lips joining yours once again.

Sungchan’s head was leaning against your shoulder, placing kisses there every few minutes as you typed away at your laptop. You could tell he was beyond tired but only staying by your side to keep you company, his breathing slowing and turning into snores. You gently shook him awake.

“You're gonna end up with cramps all over tomorrow Channie,” he got the hint and lay down fully but as soon as you opened up your laptop he started whining. “I guess I'll just finish it tomorrow… it's not fair you always get your way.” You said putting your laptop on your bedside table and going under the covers with Sungchan.

“It's because you love me.” he muttered lazily, throwing his arm over you. You smiled to yourself running your fingers through his hair. “I love you too, maybe a little too much,”
