The eucalypts were full of woodpeckers, jays, and swallows. This was only the beginning of a very long, very good day.

If there's one thing I hate, it's stairs inside my house! (LOL) This home has no stairs inside the house, just an elevator. Should there be a power outage or equipment malfunction, you can use the stairs outside.

The house was built in 2022 in Landrum, SC, has 2bds, 2ba, 3 stalls and 17 acres of land. $1.1M.

Have you ever seen a house w/a facade like this? Those are the horse stalls. I wouldn't mind them being attached to the house, I love horses.

The house is cute inside. Has a brick fireplace wall with built-in shelving.

In the living room there's a cozy nook with shelving and drawers. That's so comfy looking. I would put tile in front of the fireplace, though, even if it's just for looks.

You can see the kitchen from the living room. I think there's probably room for a dining table behind the couch.

Kitchen's cute. Looks like it has a closet pantry and nice shelving.

Bedroom #1 is on the ground floor and 2 doors to the patio.

It has a very nice shower room en-suite.

And, this is the doggo's very own room.

Now, here's the elevator and no stairs inside the house. It looks claustrophobic. I like the new clear ones that are powered by vacuum and if they fail, they just slowly float back down.

The primary bedroom is on the 2nd level. I like the brick feature wall, and it has sliders to the enclosed porch.

It has a large en-suite with a separate toilet room, which is nice.

The enclosed porch is lovely, and there's a bed out here, too. Note the stairs. So, stair access is outside.

And, attached to the house are the horse stalls.

There's a lot of land. They even have a grain silo.

There's a lot that can be done with 17 acres.

It looks like a little ranch estate.

...the older I get, I have less need for contemporary culture and big cities and all the stuff we are bombarded with. I am happier at my ranch in the middle of nowhere watching a bug carry leaves across the grass, listening to silence, riding my horse, and being in open space.

Artsy 1939 hacienda style compound is so cool (but why, oh, why, do the kitchens disappoint us?) in Patagonia, Arizona. 16bds, 19ba, $29.950M. The main compound also includes a large office suite and conference room, the property has everything you need to work from home or to handle ranch operations on site.

As soon as you enter the hallway, you see the art. Of course, we have to picture it w/our stuff. It's a rustic style ranch and has a main residence with a casita, 2 additional homes for employees or managers, as well as 3 apartments for employees or guests.

This living room makes we wonder if the owner is in the home decor business.

The room has a bar for either clients or guests.

This is delightful.

This room has a serious bar. Look at tile.

The guest powder room has a froggy collection on the sink.

The dining room is large and opens to the patio. They don't even show the kitchen in the main house, which is sketchy.

What a lovely library- I love the lighted shelving.

The home office. I imagine that those removeable shelves would be removed along w/the collection.

This must be the office suite that the description mentions.

This may be the primary bedroom with a nice fireplace, and twin beds b/c the crabby couple in the portrait on the wall no longer sleep in the same bed.

Nice en-suite. They seem to like mirrored baths.

I really can't tell which bedroom is the primary b/c they're all big.

A lot of them feature twin beds.

There are 16 bedrooms in this home, though.

Here's another bath. There are 19 of them.

They do, however, show this huge laundry room, but no kitchen.

This may be the guest house, situated on top of a rock. Very nice.

This home houses the business office.

This area has all the outbuildings and staff quarters. I can't even see the main house from here. The property measures 1,739 acres.

The main house must be way up the road.
