Been reading Chris Claremont's Uncanny X-Men, and I just thought the dialogue from One Man's Worth summarises the relationship between Logan and Ororo. Might make a ramble about it, but for now, here's my interpretation of the dialogue.

Oh, I see this scene was written specifically for me. Four straight pages of Ororo and Logan training with each other by absolutely pummeling one another and I was all, "They really should just fuck nasty about it." AND THEN THEY FUCKED NASTY ABOUT IT RIGHT ON THE FOREST FLOOR. I AM WINNING AT COMICS.

She’s literally mid punching his ass and he just looks at her like she’s the only woman—no person ever.

Sometimes I think about when Loki tricked Ororo into doing his bidding, and Logan - who was already sick from being poisoned - fought to save her. But then Ororo thought it was a trick and nearly killed him, only to realize he was real and trying to save her after it was too late.

And then the Goddess of Death came to take Logan's soul and Ororo said absolutely the fuck not.

Thinking about how unintentionally agressive Logan’s flirting style is. Like.

Staring. Aggressively. Thinks he’s giving bedroom eyes, when they’re in fact ‘I want to burn your body and eat the ashes and wear your skin like boots’ eyes.

Wade is astonished when Logan calls him a dumbass for not realizing it sooner. “I was flirting with you the whole time. You seriously didn’t notice, mouth?”

“Motherfucker you stabbed me 206 times.”

“207.”

I don’t even need to explain Scott.

Imagine being Ororo and this new guy has beef with you, suddenly? You haven’t even spent 10 minutes in his presence and he hates you, actually.

He keeps following her everywhere. EVERYWHERE. She’s at the mall, picking up Kitty and Jubilee, and Logan’s silently following with a resting bitch face. He barks at someone???

Everytime she announces she’ll be going somewhere, he’s right behind her. “Where we going, raindrop?”

At dinner, he VIOLENTLY bites on his steak while looking DIRECTLY at her. He hasn’t blinked in 5 minutes.

Remy is so tired of this. “Can you be normal? For 5 minutes?”

Logan simply shrugs. “Pay me.”

To him, it’s completely fine. Wrongfully , he thinks he looks COOL, but the unfortunate soul receiving his attention is thinking ‘am I about to get my ass beat rn????’
