Thoughts on the new open ice:
- loved Ceci knowing that Granny would come down to the hotel lobby right at the agreed upon time and not a second earlier
- granny has a very soft almost Jamie Benn esque voice - if the two of them have a conversation it will sound like the wings of butterflies flapping against a strong wind
- both ceci and granny were aware of rumors that they were probably going to be traded up to a day in advance but they didn’t know where- Dutchy actually broke the specifics to ceci
- robo and mush were very clear that they should be called robo and mush and not Jason Robertson and Mason Marchment 😂
- Robo and Mush got up and came to shake hands with the new guys immediately but Dutchy and another guy who were just chilling in the players lounge or whatever did not even get up just waved & said nice to see you again
- wonder if that’s an etiquette thing- like first time you play with a guy you MUST shake hands with as much urgency as possible but if you’ve played with each other before you can be like ‘oh hey 👍’ super casual like
- Ceci was mic’d up for the game that night & they showed a montage of him asking esa and the coaches and presumably other people questions about the system
- they made the new guys give speeches after their first game game and granny was like "It’s nice to win" with like a very knowing look and like GIRL 🫢 you didn’t have to do it to ‘em!
- very glad to have these guys 😊

Exploring Future Career Opportunities in Finance: A Guide for Students
Tumblr media
Choosing a career in finance offers a world of opportunities. With the global economy evolving rapidly, the finance sector has become more diverse, providing numerous career paths for students. As industries continue to grow and technology reshapes the way we work, understanding future prospects after studying finance is crucial for anyone planning a career in this field. This article will explore the potential career opportunities in finance and provide insights on how to enhance your prospects with relevant skills.
The Financial Sector: A Broad Range of Career Paths
Finance is one of the most versatile fields for students, with many career options available after completing a degree. From traditional roles like banking, accounting, and investment management to newer fields like financial technology (FinTech) and risk analysis, finance offers a dynamic career landscape. For students, understanding the future prospects after studying finance can help in making informed decisions about their career journey.
The rise of FinTech has revolutionized the finance industry. Today, students have access to jobs related to blockchain, cryptocurrency, and robo-advisors. The demand for professionals in these fields is growing exponentially, opening doors to high-paying jobs. Additionally, companies in the finance sector increasingly seek data-driven individuals who can make sense of complex data and use it to make informed decisions.
The Role of Data Science in Finance
Data science has become a critical component of the financial industry. Financial institutions use data science to predict market trends, assess risk, and develop investment strategies. With data analysis tools becoming more advanced, professionals with expertise in both finance and data science are in high demand. Why is data science a career-oriented field? Because it empowers financial institutions to make data-backed decisions that are more accurate and effective.
As the world of finance becomes more reliant on big data, students who study finance and develop skills in data science will have a competitive edge. From analyzing stock prices to creating algorithms for trading, data science provides students with a wide range of opportunities. The integration of data science into finance has also led to the rise of roles such as quantitative analysts, data engineers, and financial data scientists.
Skills You Need for a Successful Career in Finance
While traditional finance roles are still popular, today’s finance professionals need to adapt to new trends in technology and data. For a successful career in finance, students should focus on developing technical skills in areas such as financial modeling, risk management, and programming languages like Python and R. Along with technical knowledge, students should also work on their soft skills, including communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
In addition to these core skills, students should familiarize themselves with the evolving landscape of the finance industry. For instance, knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning will be beneficial for those looking to pursue careers in data science or FinTech. This will help future finance professionals stay ahead of the curve and make a significant impact in their careers.
Career Paths in Finance: From Investment Banking to Risk Management
One of the most sought-after careers in finance is investment banking. Investment bankers help companies raise capital, advise on mergers and acquisitions, and manage complex financial transactions. While investment banking offers attractive salaries, it is also demanding and requires individuals who can thrive under pressure.
Risk management is another area of finance that is growing. As businesses face increasing financial and operational risks, companies need professionals who can identify, assess, and mitigate those risks. Risk managers work across all sectors, including banking, insurance, and investment management. The skills you develop in risk management are transferable across many industries, making it a secure career option for students.
Moreover, financial advisory roles are perfect for students who enjoy helping others with financial planning. Financial advisors provide guidance on investment decisions, retirement planning, and tax strategies. With the rise of personal finance management tools and apps, financial advisory is evolving, and there’s a growing demand for professionals who can work with digital platforms.

Hihi!!
Can I request the prsk boys with a reader who has a younger sibling that's like N25 len? :D basically the type that would trade their plushie just for a hug
hihi !! I did get ur other ask so i will make this separate, i hope u like this !! <3
♡ N25 LEN SIBLING - (Familial!) Akito Shinonome, Toya Aoyagi, Tsukasa Tenma and Rui Kamishiro x Reader
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Akito:
Akito would definitely be a lot more protective over you than anything-
He refuses to ever be aggressive towards you, you're one of the only people who gets to see his soft side all of the time
He's more than happy to act as a shield for you if needed. It's likely that he's taller than you, so he's more than happy to let you hide yourself behind him
He used to tease you about your plushies, but if you ever got actually upset, he would feel really bad-
He might get embarrassed about it, but he's always more than happy to give you a hug if you need it. He's your big bro, he'll always give you affection if you ask!
(Bonus points with Ena also becoming really protective with you, so they both throw hands with anyone who scares you-)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Toya:
Toya is worried about you way more often-
He's a relatively quiet person himself, but you're on a whole other level, so he usually speaks up for you
He's pretty tall himself, so if you ask to hide behind him, he won't mind. Often times, it'll just be the two of you standing there side by side in silence
He thinks your plushies are really cute! He'll definitely give you a ton of the prizes he wins from claw machines-
He absolutely adores giving you hugs, you're his little sibling and he wants you to feel as safe and alright as you possibly can <3
(Bonus points with Tsukasa and Saki basically being your siblings as well, and they're outgoing enough to help both you and Toya-)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tsukasa:
Tsukasa is the exact opposite of you, but it definitely helps in a lot of situations!
He's loud and out there and you're often too shy to talk to people, so he's more than happy to be your representative!
He automatically shields you at times, it becomes an older brother instinct to him that he doesn't think too much on!
He absolutely loves all of your plushies! They're so adorable, and he wonders if he would ever be able to sneak you some of the plushies from Sekai...
You never need to ask for a hug from Tsukasa, he automatically hugs you whenever he gets the chance! He cares about you so much <3
(Bonus points for Saki and Toya being your siblings and absolutely adoring you and doing what they can to help-)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rui:
Rui is...definitely an interesting person to be the sibling of in general-
He's very out there with his eccentric nature, which might not be the best at times if you don't want to draw attention to yourself-
He does protect you whenever he can though. He's the tallest boy here, so he'll shield you in almost every situation!
He adores your plushies, and even tries his hand at making a few for you! He'll be overjoyed if you carry his plushies around
While he may not know how to function afterwards, he loves giving you hugs too! He embraces his older brother role as much as he can <3
(Bonus points for growing up knowing Nene, and Rui offers to make you a sort of Robo-You as well if you wish-)

@himbos-on-ice 👋🏻🔒🆙
All my super qualified opinions 💖
👋🏻 - Ryan Suter (self-explanatory) and Celene Rae because her singing hurts me personally..
- Jamie Benn is on thin fucking ice to me, he did a lot of great things in the past (personal piece of shit-tery excluded, i always thought he was more 'super fucking stupid' than actively hateful but the results may be the same) but this blatant lack of self control and intent to injure (or mere indifference towards the possibility) is not excusable and lost us - in addition to Suter's CONSTANT fuck ups - the playoffs imo. It's not gonna happen..
- the vets know best mentality, jfc, they clearly do not (Pavs, you are excluded from this narrative)
- wedgewood.. i have a goalie soft spot but... I hope Murray developes? I am not convinced, we could do better. I wish dobby had properly recovered, he earned my whole heart in 2020..
🔒 - I don't know the current contracts and can't be arsed to google but i assume our wunderkind core is a lock (robo, roope, miro, otter, johnny, pavs) and i wanna keep Kivi (!), Daddy, nils and Mush. Segs and esa is a given. I don't care about Domi and i am scared they gonna trade delly (i have no explanation for this, it's just a vibe). I wanna keep Delly! And I have a soft spot for Harley. Glenny should stay and faksa, too. Not sure about jani tbh..
🆙 Studenic and tufte and i am so curious about Mavrik Bourque. I don't know if he's ready, I don't regularly watch the texas stars and it's been a minute but i am vibing. I am always rooting for baby goalies

Writing Trade For @s-s-ironnie
Donnie was in his lab working on upgrading his personal computer. His lab was slightly vibrating from the dubstep that he was listening to as he was trying to drown out the shenanigans his family was doing. What shenanigan-er-ies could his brothers be doing, he does not know, nor does he care currently as he was installing a more proficient coolant system into his computer, to keep it from overheating from all the songs he’s downloaded from the Internet that reminds him of Iris.
He was laying on his side, underneath his desk, as he was holding in place a difficult nut and bolt with one hand, while trying to find the proper sized wrench with the other hand, “S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. Will you hand me the ¼ wrench!”
           There was no answer.
           “S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.!”
           Still no answer.
Donnie sighed, irritated as he let go of the nut and bolt and the nut popped him in the middle of his forehead as he shimmied his way out from under his desk.
Sitting up he turned off the dubstep and yelled, “S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.” even louder.
There wasn’t even the sound of tiny rotor blades humming, implying that the little purple turtle drone is around, but is just ignoring him. Donnie then realized that the house was relatively quiet to begin with, minus the sound of Splinter snoring in his recliner as a Korean drama played in the background.
Donnie stood up as he got a sudden bad premonition. Usually when S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. doesn’t talk to him, it’s after having a big fight, but the two of them haven’t had a fight like that in a whole month. Which is their best record so far. So Donnie could only conclude that his brothers have done something to his baby and are trying to fix it before he finds out.
Donnie stormed out of his lab as he rushed through the lair to try and find them. He speed-walked through the living/skateboarding room. He investigated each of his brother’s rooms. He then immediately ran to the kitchen and found his brothers congregated around the kitchen table.
Pointing dramatically at his brothers, he shouted, “Where’s S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.!?”
Flinching, Raph turned around as Mikey and Leo slid on either side of Raph. All three of them were trying to block his view of the kitchen table.
Having none of it, Donnie engaged his extra robo-arms in his battle shell and used them to push them out of the way, much to their pleading cries to wait. Donnie gasped at the sight on the table.
S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. was a mess. His little turtle head was caved in on the side and his eye lens was sloppily glued back in place. He was missing his front right roto blade. There was a big, jagged crack across his back, and he looked like he was fished out of the muck of the sewer and only recently, hastily cleaned up.
Donnie usually has all the words, any words, to describe a bad situation; your incompetence is as mind blowing as a bad yelp review, you’d struggle with throwing away a paper ball, your voice is as grating at a cheese grater on glass, or even babies are smarter than you. For Donnie, this takes the cake and his words as he picked up S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. and glared at his brothers as he walked by them.
“Donnie, we didn’t—” Raph tried to say but was cut off by the soft-shelled turtle.
           “Not. A word.”
With one last glare at his brothers, he stormed off to his lab.
First and foremost, Donnie made sure that the most important part of S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. was well and intact, his memories. Once he was in his lab, Donnie gently sat the little drone down on the table next to his computer set up while pushing aside his previous mess, then quickly got into S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s hardware and extracted his protected memory bank, then he plugged it into his computer. He did a diagnostic check on the software to see if any files were corrupted by the external damage.
There was damage, not surprising, considering the damaged state the little drone is in, with most of the corrupted memory files being from that day before he got hurt. Also, not surprising since these are all categorized as short-term memory and deemed not needed to be saved, via his special programing.
Then he saw smaller chunks of corrupted memory that’s set in his long-term memory files. The memory of them overcoming their differences and the Purple Dragon’s meddling. The memory of them fighting beast mode Shredder together. The memory of S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. finally developing speech.
Donnie felt his lip quiver at the thought that S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. considered these memories worth holding on to, but he coughed that feeling away to replace it with anger at his brothers. He wanted to scream but he settled for groaning loudly as he leaned hard into his swivel chair. He turned away from his computer monitor and looked towards S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s busted frame.
He was doing mental calculations for what the little drone would need, and whether it would be a good idea just to remake his body entirely. Then as he was doing the math in his head, a simple thought slipped into his mind. The fact that this accident, this incident that completely destroyed S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N., will change him completely. Even if he makes his body just the way it was before he was broken, the little drone won’t be the same, even if he manages to find copies of the corrupted memories, they won’t be his memories.
Donnie’s vision started to blur as this thought ricocheted through his head. Trying to fight it, he quickly stood up and went to his toolbox to find his tiny tools so that he can salvage what he can of S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s broken body. As he was unscrewing a rotor blade, he tried to breath evenly to keep himself from crying, but as soon as he started working on the second rotor blade, he felt hot tears run down his masked face.
The soft-shelled turtle could barely see, but he refused to stop working. He was grimacing hard as the tears kept coming out of him, resigned to the state that he’s in but still angry about it.
Donnie didn’t know how long he was working on salvaging S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s body. What he managed to set aside was his good rotor blades, the lenses were still good and intact despite the head being smashed in, and he was slowly discerning which of the hardware for flight function was the least water damaged when he heard her voice.
“Donnie,” Iris’s voice was soft and hesitant.
The purple coded turtle was already a mix of emotions, and with her here, it felt like a whole bottle of potassium was thrown into his personal cup of water. He froze in his actions, debating on whether he should try and hid his tears to save face for his bad boy persona he’s been trying hard to cultivate around her, or if that’ll just make him look even more of a loser than he already felt like.
“Your brothers told me what happened to S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. I’m so sorry he got hurt,” Iris said, her voice getting closer.
Donnie went back to work on the little drone as he continued not to say anything as he was thinking very hard of the situation that he was in. Simultaneously trying to pretend that he doesn’t care if Iris thinks less of him for crying over a drone and praying to any gods or magical creatures or whatever that she really won’t think less of him. All while trying to think of a what he can say back.
There was a little gasp as Iris walked around the other side of the table to see the damage. Donnie looked up from his work to see her in all her beauty. She was wearing her usual purple and yellow dress, and her long orange-red hair was tied back with a purple bow. She gave him the most heartbroken look, even her pointed elf-like ears were drooping.
Her genuine sadness over S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s broken visage made something break in Donnie and he dropped his tiny screwdriver, then covered his eyes with his hands as he sobbed.
He couldn’t think. He couldn’t breathe. He couldn’t do anything but cry. He didn’t even realize that Iris was hugging him until he was gasping for breath.
“There, there,” she said, as he felt her petting his head, “I know. It’s hard when people you care about get hurt. Cry for as long as you need to.”
Donnie was still sitting in his chair, while Iris was standing in front of him between his legs, while his face was pressed against her diaphragm area. She felt soft and warm and smelled like sweet mixed berry pie. His hands shook with nerves as he attentively wrapped his arms around her waist to hold her a bit more snugly against himself as he was starting to calm down.
It’s not like he hasn’t gotten hugs from her before. It’s just they recently got into the hugging faze of their friendship and this is their first kind of emotionally fraught hug, and it felt more intimate than the usual quick squeezes they give each other. It was nice though.
Coughing, Donnie said, “Um. Could you go grab my water bottle that’s on my nightstand.”
She smiled at him and nodded. Then she grabbed his water bottle that was by his incubator bed and handed it to him.
Donnie chugged the water bottle empty, then taking a few moments to wipe away his tears and runny nose, without looking at her he gave her a bashful, “Thanks.” Then the threw the water bottle over his head and into his lab to be picked up later.
“Of course. Any time,” she said enthusiastically. Then she asked, “So, what else can I do to help?”
“Can you use magic to fix him back to normal?”
She laughed at his joke, then said, “No. As far as I know, magic doesn’t work like that, but I can help you get supplies or devices or anything else you might need.”
“I have to finish seeing what I can salvage from him first,” Donnie said as he turned away from her.
“How about we get one of your brothers to do the slowly taking apart bit while you and I head to the surface to see what the electronics store has,” she said as she walked around the table to stand in front of him.
Donnie gave her a disbelieving look as he twiddled a screw between his fingers.
“Okay. Okay. Not your brothers, but you can salvage the rest of S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. later, the stores will close, up top soon,” she said.
“And they’ll be open tomorrow. Right now, seeing what S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. does have still working for him is more important.”
She puffed out her cheeks in a pout. Then Donnie watched her drag her chair, that she sits at for art projects, over to the table he was working on, and she sat down in front of him.
“Okay, then I’ll help you get through this faster,” she said as she reached for a piece of the purple drone, but then she hesitated and asked him, “But only if you want my help.”
“Thank you… I’d like that,” he said as he looked down at the busted drone.
Nodding, Iris picked up a piece of S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. and Donnie handed her a flat head screwdriver.
They sat silently as they both worked together to take apart the little drone, but after Iris asked him if a computer chip was worth saving, he asked her a question of his own.
“Why is it so important to you that I get this done as soon as possible?”
“The sooner we get him fixed, the sooner you’ll feel better, and the sooner you start feeling better, the sooner I’ll get to see your beautiful smile again.”
Donnie felt all fluttery inside from his smile being called beautiful, and he saw Iris’s face turn a dark shade of pink as she seemed to realize what she just said. They both looked away from each other.
“A-anyways, the chip! Is it good or not?” she asked him again.
           “Junk it.”
Donnie and Iris managed to take apart S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s old body and they managed to salvage a number of things that were primarily plastic or metal like his rotors and camera lenses, but they also managed to salvage his flight pattern abilities, and his original voice box.
They both stretched in their chairs from being hunched over for so long, and Iris pulled out her phone.
“Oh! Yes! We have two hours until all the good tech stores close for the night. Do you know what we should get for S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.?”
Donnie stood up as he rolled his shoulders, saying, “Yah. I can make the body, but I’ll need to buy some special wiring and chips that are mass-produced that I can’t make myself,” then he got out his own phone as he got on the map app, “There’s a Mousey’s Click Tech shop that’s a ten-minute train ride from here. They should have what I need.”
Iris hopped out of her seat and cheered, “Alright. Then get your hoodie on and let’s a go! Go! Go!”
He sighed and smiled at her as he meandered over to his lose laundry pile and picked out a purple hoodie from a dozen identical hoodies. Iris skipped ahead of him as he was putting on his hoodie and they walked out of his room/lab. As they were leaving Splinter was still fast asleep in his recliner, but Mikey was sitting on the floor beside him as he was watching the Korean drama too.
Donnie saw Mikey turn at the noise they were making as they were leaving, and the soft-shelled turtle avoided his gaze as he turned his hoodie up. Iris was helping his mood, but he was still angry at them for not immediately telling him about S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.
The two of them boarded the earliest train that arrived at the station and made it to the tech store in fifteen minutes. Now usually when they travel together Iris would tell him about her day, how her mother’s shop is doing, and/or tell him something she found interesting. Instead, she was focused more on her phone as she was texting someone, which is fine, since he was focused more on trying to remember what that one really durable plastic is called so that he can make S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s body out of it.
The two of them walked into the store and it smelled of plastic, fresh ozone, and freshly sprayed febreze. A thin, shaggy white guy with dreads was sitting at the counter with his feet propped up on the counter as he was playing on his phone. Donnie asked him if he had any of the items he needed on stock, before the two of them went looking around the store.
“I don’t know man. You’ll just have to look.”
Annoyed, Donnie sighed and said, “Fine.”
He and Iris walked around the little store to try and find internal computer components but the more they looked, the more they saw that they barely had anything, and what they did have wasn’t compatible for drones or complex computers.
The two of them went back to the front counter where the guy hasn’t moved and hasn’t looked up from his phone as Iris said, “Um, could you look in the back storage for what we need. We couldn’t find it on the shelves.”
“Sorry, Ma’am, if it’s not on the shelves, then we don’t have it,” he said as his phone suddenly got musically energetic like he opened a special box in the game on his phone.
“Okay. Then when are you expecting the computer parts to show?” Donnie asked as he leaned angrily against the counter.
“I don’t know. We’ve been waiting for a month now. If you want to add a new keyboard to your computer, we have those,” he said, still not looking at them.
Donnie was glaring heavily at the disinterested man, and Iris pulled him back by his shoulder and started gently pushing him towards the front door, as she said, “Okay. Well, we hope you can get all your stuff as soon as you can. Have a good rest of your night.”
           “You too, Ma’am.”
The two of them stood on the street as Donnie groaned out his frustrations.
“Welp, that was a bust,” Iris said, “but it’s no big deal. We can go to other stores.”
He sighed, then said, “Yah. We can.”
Then he got out his phone and looked at the map to see where else they can go shopping for the parts he needs.
They went searching at every store they could reach quickly. They tried another Mousey’s Click Tech store. Then they tried a store called Pineapple. Then a store called Junk Tech. Then Future Tech. Ghost In the Shell. Galaxy Tech. Drone Heaven. Turbo Tech. Each store that they visited, the more frustrated Donnie felt and even Iris was getting annoyed, as the stores were either as bare as the first store they went to, or it was even more bare.
“What the heck is going on. Why is every tech store like this!” Donnie yelled at the sharply dressed woman at the counter.
The brown skinned woman with long black hair and half her head shaved stared at Donnie with a professional glare.
Iris sighed as she lightly turned the purple coded turtle away from the working woman and she said in an annoyed tone but much calmer voice, “Sorry. We’re having a rough night. He just lost someone special to him and we just can’t seem to find the parts we need.”
The woman’s face softened then she said, “I’m sorry to hear that. But yah, every tech store is having shortages.”
“Do you know why,” Iris asked as she gently rubbed Donnie’s back who’s resigned himself to smooshing his face onto the counter.
“Have you two heard of Bit Coin?”
           They both said yes.
“I absolutely hate the concept of it, and I’m surprised it’s still going,” Donnie said at the same time as Iris said, “I love it. I think it’s going to be our new future.”
The two of them looked at each other in surprise, but their attention was put back on the woman as she spoke.
“Well, whatever your stance on the new fake money is, these people who create Bit Coin have been buying up all the computer components to keep their giant c.p.u.’s running. So if you decide to buy online, don’t get a used part. It’ll just die on you after two boot ups, okay.”
           “Okay,” Iris said
“I’m sorry for yelling at you earlier,” Donnie mumbled to her as they were walking out, and the lady was following to lock the door behind them.
“Thank you. I understand losing someone too,” she said.
“Have a good night,” Iris told her as they were outside.
“You too and stay safe out their kids.”
Then she locked the door and turned out the main lights. Iris was texting someone on her phone while Donnie was trying to think of where else they could possibly go, since ordering anything online is not available to him.
           “Hey.”
Donnie turned to Iris with a questioning hum.
“You know who I bet has a finger to the pulse on this whole shortage situation and would be exploiting it for any money he can get? Repo Mantis,” she said as she put away her phone, “If he has anything, it’d be him.”
“If he does, it’s more likely that he’s doing it on accident, you know, unless someone’s told him already. But even if he does have what we need it’s not like he’ll sell it to us at a reasonable price.”
“Who said anything about buying,” Iris said as she gave Donnie a sweet and mischievous smile.
Donnie’s brain kind of fizzled at the sight of her smile. He loves her smiles, but her lets-start-trouble-on-purpose smile is his favorite.
Already walking towards the scrapyard to hide the, what he considered, obvious lovestruck look on his face, Donnie said, “Welp. The night’s not getting any younger.”
Iris jogged to catch up to him and once she was walking side by side with him, she hip-bumped him and said, “Yah! We’re going to get those parts and you’ll be able to rebuild S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. and you’ll talk with your brothers again.”
Donnie huffed at that last comment.
“Have you heard what happened from their point of view?” Iris asked, hesitantly.
“No. And I don’t want to. You saw how bad S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. looked and it was just his body. I didn’t show you, but his mind got corrupted by the damage too. He’ll never be the same again.”
Donnie felt his eyes sting with budding tears, and he rubbed his eyes, then looked back at Iris. She was looking at him with sad puppy eyes, like she wanted to say more, but didn’t know what to say.
He looked away from her because he was starting to feel weak against her puppy eyes. They were essentially telling him to just; pretty, pretty, please talk to your brothers. After a few seconds he looked back at her and she was still looking at him with sad, pleading eyes that seemed to have gotten bigger somehow.
He groaned to the sky as they waited for the street sign to give them the okay to cross as he said, “Okay! Okay… I’ll hear their side of the story. But I’m still going to be mad that they didn’t send S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. to me as soon as they could have.”
She patted his back with a small smile and said, “That’s fine.”
The Repo Mantis Salvage yard was dark, with only a few key lights lighting up certain areas, like the front entrance. The small building that Repo Mantis lives in and his shop, and the heavy-duty equipment that’s used to break up cars.
Donnie and Iris were a few yards away scoping out the scene and making sure that Repo’s giant mutated cat wasn’t prowling around. Using his goggles, Donnie scanned Repo’s small shop and saw that the mutant mantis man had a lot of busted computers in it.
“I think he got rid of his pet cat,” he stated.
“No. I can smell her. She’s still here, but probably locked up somewhere.”
“…You can smell the cat on the wind?” Donnie raised his goggles and looked at her.
“Yah, you know that smell. That pungent cat smell that people have in their homes. You probably don’t recognize it because you guys don’t have a pet cat,” Iris said.
“Okay. Well, the small shop has a bunch of electronics in it, your theory may be right,” he said as he looked back at the scrap yard, “We’ll have to be careful. If he shows up, you run as fast as you can okay. I’ll make sure he can’t hurt you.”
“Uh, no?” She chuckled, “I’m not leaving you behind. If we get caught, we stick together. You hear me, Mister?”
Donnie groaned, then he said, “Okay. How about this. We just play by ear. Does that sound good to you?”
She hummed a high-pitched “okay” at him.
The two of them snuck onto Repo’s scrap yard and Donnie expertly unlocked the four different locks the mutant man has on the door to his workshop, then deactivated the silent alarm.
Donnie activated two extra robot arms to come out of his battle shell while holding two flashlights. It was small and the inside was a mess of broken electronics of mostly computers, but what wasn’t broken was expertly taken apart and labeled.
“Ohhh,” Iris squealed quietly, “This looks promising.”
Donnie nodded in agreement with her.
The two of them looked through the labeled computer parts and other scrap. Donnie found everything he needed and more for his little drone. However, Donnie took only what he needed. He then turned to Iris to tell her that they should go, but she had her arms full of different computer chips and wires and miniature cameras.
“What are you doing!?” he harshly whispered at her.
“I’m trying to get as much good stuff for S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.,” she whispered back just as harshly.
“He doesn’t need all that hardware! Put it back! Back! Back! Back!” he said in a panic under his breath as he tried to get her to silently put everything away.
“Oh, come on,” she breathed, “Don’t you think these will make S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s eye’s pop with these types of cameras?”
They were shiny and brand new looking, and Donnie could see that they were the latest model of robotics cosmetics. His mouth drooled a little at the sight, but he shook his head and was determined to be resolute.
“No! S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s current eyes are still good,” he murmured.
Amidst their arguing, Donnie accidentally elbowed a pile of neatly stacked laptops that crashed loudly to the floor. Less than a minute later, the lights in the shop were turned on and a giant purple mantis with an Elvis style hairdo appeared in the entrance. Repo’s buggy face was furrowed with such a deep rage that it was almost like a canyon of anger was etched across it. He stood in an attacking stance like normal praying mantis do when they get ready to hunt their pray.
           “Trespassers! I’m gonna decapitate ya!”
Repo lunged at them, swinging his claws like scythes.
Donnie pushed Iris out of his path as he dodged the other way. He got out his bō staff and got ready to fight, but Repo instead was going after Iris. Repo swiped at her, but she dodged with amazing agility and grace. Doing backflips, sliding under a table covered in tech to block, and side stepping like she was dancing with the giant mutant mantis.
“Hold still,” Repo yelled at her.
She kept on dodging, but this time, while giving him the finger.
Donnie ran up to Repo, hopped on his back, and put the mantis man into a choke hold using his staff.
“Go!” He yelled at her, “I’ll be right behind you!”            Nodding, she ran around them and slid out the workshop door.
While Repo flailed around trying to get Donnie off his back, the teenage turtle planted his feet firmly on his back, then at the same time as he released the chokehold, Donnie pushed off Repo and did a backflip. Landing on his feet. Repo, however, was pushed roughly forward into a pile of old junk computers. The force of his landing made a shelf above him fall and a pile of paint cans crashed on top of him.
Donnie flinched at the sight, but when he heard the mutant mantis groan, he ran out the workshop door while pocketing his staff.
As he ran out, he saw that Iris was anxiously jogging in place while waiting for him.
“Come on!” he said as he grabbed her hand.
The two of them raced out of the scrap yard and ran through the streets. Neither of them stopping until they were both out of breath and were deep inside the city.
The two of them were catching their breath crammed in between a dark alleyway. Iris moved to the entrance of the alleyway to double check and see if they were followed, and Donnie noticed that they were still holding hands.
There’s not a lot of situations in which he can contrive a reason for them to hold hands. She has very pretty hands with a lot of work done on her long nails to make them look cute. He’s sure they’re not fake long nails but regardless, she takes good care of them. Her soft hands are strong, like she could snap his neck with one hand if she wanted to and he’s not sure why he likes that idea so much. She loosened her grip on his hand and he reluctantly let go as she used it to tuck a piece of loose hair behind her ear.
“I think we’re safe,” she said.
Donnie fiddled with his controller wristwatch and retracted his two robo-arms back into his battle shell, and Iris untied Donnie’s hoodie from around her waist and gave it back to him so he could put it back on.
“Thanks,” he said as he started putting his hoodie back on, “What you did back there was really cool, I didn’t think all your dancing prowess could make you an excellent dodger.”
“Hehe,” he laughed as she rubbed the back of her neck, “I think that was mostly adrenaline but look what I managed to get.”
From out of her dress pockets, she pulled out the two advanced robot eyes that they were arguing over before.
“Now, before you say anything,” she said, reading the look on his face, “I know you said you don’t need them, but these are just for incase. You know? I want our favorite little drone to not have to worry about his eyes in the future.”
She handed them to Donnie and waited for him to take them.
Donnie sighed, then smiled at her and took the robo eyes, placing them with the other hardware for S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s rebuilding.
“Thank you for caring so much about him with me. It means a lot.”
“Of course, Donnie. You both mean a lot to me. Now let’s go home. The boys have some explaining to do and you have some listening to do.”
As they made their way to the nearest train station, Donnie groaned but didn’t argue with her and Iris got out her phone and started texting with someone.
The two of them entered the lair and they walked into the living/skateboarding room and saw that Splinter was still asleep in his recliner, but the projector was off and most of the noise was coming from the kitchen.
The two of them entered the kitchen and saw that dinner was made for Iris and Donnie.
Raph was doing the dishes. Leo was reading a comic at the kitchen table and sitting next to him was Mikey who was drawing something.
“Oh, this looks so good. Thanks for making this for us, Mikey,” Iris said.
All three turtle boys snapped their head up at her voice and they all looked at Donnie.
“You guys knew we were coming,” Donnie asked.
“Yah, Iris has been texting us all night since you two had left,” Raph said as he dried off his hands on a rag.
The two of them sat down and started to eat.
“Thank you, Mikey,” Donnie mumbled over his food.
           Mikey smiled at him.
As they ate, Donnie could tell that his brothers were trying very hard not to say anything too soon, and it was slowly grating on his nerves.
When he finished eating, he said, “Okay. I’m listening. What happened when S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. was with you guys.”
Iris was still eating, but she was silently watching everyone interact with each other.
Leo and Mikey turned to Raph who was leaning against the kitchen counter.
“Okay. So, a giant alligator/crocodile mutant guy was prowling around outside our lair when we were all goofing around. The guy then attacked us, unprovoked, and tried to bite us to death. S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. was trying to help us by being a distraction to him so that we could get out our weapons, but the alligator/crocodile guy managed to get him with his massive tail and just batted him into the concrete wall, and he then bounced into some sewer muck,” Raph said.
Donnie gave his brothers concerned looks.
“Don’t worry. The crocodile guy hasn’t comeback yet,” Leo said.
“I’m still wondering why he attacked us in the first place, thou,” Mikey said as he continued drawing.
“Why didn’t you guys just bring him immediately to me,” Donnie asked, pleadingly.
Donnie saw Mikey put down his coloring pencil, but he didn’t look at him and Leo went back to looking at his comic, but he wasn’t reading it. Donnie turned his attention back to Raph.
“We were all kind of scare of how you’d react. Even S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. was scared. He asked us to try and fix him before he shut down,” Raph explained.
Donnie was reeling at this information.
“I’m not that scary when I’m angry… Am I,” he turned and asked Iris.
She winced at him a little as she brought her hand up and made her thumb and pointer finger almost touch each other.
Donnie turned away from her as he brought his hand up to his head and rubbed it, sighing into the table. Then he sat up and looked at his brothers.
“I’m sorry I made you guys feel that way. I want you all to know, no matter how angry I get, I still want to know these things. I need to know these things. Or S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s memory wouldn’t have gotten as bad as it is.”
Mikey looked up at Donnie and Leo looked over his comic at him while Raph stood up straighter.
Mikey asked, “What do you mean? What’s wrong?”
Looking away from them, Donnie told them what he found out about the little drone’s damaged memories and how it’ll affect him in the future. When he looked back at his brothers, all three of them were teary eyed and they immediately moved to embrace him. Donnie was almost tipped out of his chair by the force of his brother’s hugs. Mikey and Raph were crying the loudest while Leo was crying silent, guilty tears.
“We’re so sorry,” Mikey spoke for them all, “We should have just bit the bullet and showed you the damage immediately.”
Donnie let them cry since he hashed out all his crying earlier, but he hugged them back as best he could as he said, “I’m sorry too.”
Donnie then saw Iris come over with a soft smile on her face as she joined in on the hug. She patted him on the head like she was saying, good boy, to him. He puffed out his cheeks at her in a pout. Her smile widened in response and that made him look away from her in shy embarrassment.
Eventually his brothers let him out of the hug, and he was able to stand up.
“Hey, don’t feel too guilty guys. You three did do a good job on cleaning away the sewer muck from him and it minimized the damaged to his memories,” Donnie said to reassure his brothers.
“And we got all the parts we need to rebuild S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. good as new,” Iris chimed in.
Leo was wiping off his face as he said, “That’s good at least.”
Having finished drying off his face, Raph said, “Okay guys. It’s pretty late. We should head to bed and let Iris go home,” then quietly to a still weeping Mikey, Raph said, “Come on, little man. You can sleep with me tonight if you want.”            Mikey nodded his head as he let Raph lead him to his room while Leo followed them out.
Donnie and Iris were now alone in the kitchen. Iris started picking up the dirty dishes from the kitchen table and Donnie followed her lead.
“Hey. Thanks again for tonight,” Donnie said, “and uh, I have another favor to ask of you, if it’s okay?”
“Of course it is,” she said as she put the dirty dishes into the sink.
“Can you… help me think of a code word we could use to signal to me that I’m getting too angry? I don’t think I understand just how much anger I have in me, and maybe I can avoid something like this happening again.”
He was avoiding making eye contact with her as he asked this, and he only looked at her when she placed her hand on his shoulder.
“Heck yah, I will. And we can get your brothers in on this too and we can all brainstorm together. It’ll be fun.”
She gave him the biggest and sweetest smile he’s seen from her yet.
Smiling softly at the sight; he took her hand off his shoulder, gripped it lightly in both of his hands, and gently raised her fingers to his forehead where they lightly brushed against him.
“Thank you,” he said looking down, then looking back up at her face he said, “Truly. You’re too good for me.”
Donnie saw her wide smile had shrunk down into a tight-lipped smile, and her face seemed to be turning a bright shade of pink. She took her hand back with an awkward laugh that confused him.
“Okay. Well. I’ll see yah around,” she said as she speed-walked away from him and she said, “Text ya later!”
Then she was out of his sight.
Donnie stood alone in the kitchen for a minute, confused by the situation, until realization hit him in the face.
“Oh no,” he said to himself as he staggered against the kitchen counter and covered his mouth with his hand, “Was I being too forward?”

Alright Fellas who wants some MM ocs
I’ll stick with like, the ones I made for the classic series to start? and even then this isn’t everyone because I’m still making and fleshing out more ocs. Putting it under a read more cuz this got kinda long.
Jazz (DTN. 000):
• The first robot of her line, and therefore the “eldest”. She acts as a lab assistant, but she also helps out with general housework and the like. In reality, she doesn’t exactly have a “set” purpose (aside from being Dr. Takahashi’s daughter), as she was built to act as one of the other prototypes created a year or so after Dr. Light introduced the world to The First. As such, Jazz considers herself more of a “Jack of all trades”, and is glad to not have one specific purpose.

Rodeo Man (DTN. 001):
• The second in the DTN line, and built for cattle herding as well as general farm work, Rodeo Man currently works on a large ranch. Acts as a big brother figure to many of the DTNs, Jazz included, and always tends to look on the bright side of things. Roadie is honest to a fault, and cannot lie to save his life. At most he can tell half truths and little white lies, but a full on fib? Nah.
If he uses his hat to cover his face it’s a dead give away there’s something he’s hiding/doesn’t want to talk about.
Crow Man (DTN. 002):
• He probably should have been named “Menace Man”, because this bird bot is probably one of the most annoying members of the DTN line you’ll meet. I’m still struggling to figure out exactly what I want his job to be? I can’t decide if I want it to have something to do with scavenging or something else. I did have the thought of him being a search-and-rescue type bot for forest areas, since Crow’s are really fucking good at remembering people. He would sell his siblings to robo-satan for one bottle cap. Not Wily though. Never Wily. He may annoy the shit out of everyone but that is a line he would never willingly cross.

Disco Man (DTN. 003):
• Built to act as a skating instructor (possibly doubles as a dj, not super sure), and the result of Dr. Takahashi’s love of the genre, Disco Man has a very flamboyant and positive personality.
He loves his job a lot, and really enjoys teaching people how to skate. I honestly think he might get along pretty well with Top Man? Gets really. Really annoyed whenever he catches Crow trying to squirrel away the shinier bits of his armor on his off days. Like excuse you I understand you’re a kleptomaniac when it comes to shiny things but leAVE MY SHIT ALONE.
Glass Man (DTN. 004):
Tentatively named Gaffer Man during development, Glass Man was built to assist in glassblowing work. I haven’t quite figured out what specifically yet, but I know when/if he ever gets a weapon he’s literally and figuratively going to be a glass canon. He can and will eat the glass making pellets and just. blow them like bubble gum. Fun forbidden snack.
Squeaks (DTN. 005):
• Squeaks was built for cave exploration and mapping, as their small stature allows them to get into tight spaces.
However because of this, this lead to them being the shortest member of the DTN line and they absolutely hate it. They’re even shorter than megaman, and he’s a child! Crow and Shark tease them nonstop about it and Squeaks always retaliates by kicking them in the shins for it.
Moth Woman (DTN. 006):
Moth is a nocturnal robot master created to pollenate flowers at night. Perpetually sleepy and soft-spoken, Moth can come off as rather spacey at times and prefers to go with the flow. However, she’s more aware of things than people give her credit for. Seriously she has so. much. dirt. that she’ll probably never use, or at the very least will share on accident. She can/does wake up in the morning, but she's much more active in the evening. During the day her perpetually sleepy/sorta high vibe is even more visible.

Base Man (DTN. 007):
Built for chemical mixing and development, Base Man works at a chemical plant. He’s very confident in his work, but so. god. damn. picky about it at the same time. Every measure has to be EXACT with this bot, otherwise he’s going to get real snippy real fast. Do you WANT to make ammonia? because you’re going to if you mix THAT chemical in. He absolutely loathes Acid Man for how he constantly jumps into the chemical tanks to check the levels of each chemical. Stop doing that you’re going to fuck up the PH balance!! Get out already!!
Shark Woman (DTN. 008):
Created for ocean exploration and mapping, so she spends most of her time in the deep down dark deep down. She LOVES the sea, loves swimming around, and would probably never leave if she 1. didn’t have to go in for maintenance and 2. didn’t wanna see what the rest of her family is up to and annoy them (affectionate). Surprisingly, she’s able to withstand high temperatures, and can go through areas with hydrothermal vents no problem. Likes biting at fiber optic cables, and also enjoys scaring the shit out of scientists that are trying to take footage of the ocean floor.
Lava Man (DTN. 009):
Created for volcanic exploration and cataloguing, Magma is often sent to active volcanic hot-spots to gather data. He is also Shark Woman’s younger “twin”, being activated 30 minutes after she was (to her amusement and his annoyance). Despite his namesake, Lava is actually rather calm and collected. He really only blows up (ha) after things go unchecked for a long period of time, and it’s usually for a good reason. Constantly has to remind his more chaotic siblings that no, you cannot eat the lava, not even once.
Float Woman (DTN. 010):
• Built to handle heavy lifting and transport large equipment, Float Woman can often be found working at the city’s docks. There are times where she’ll be sent to supervise equipment transportation, 9 times out of 10 she stays to make sure nothing goes wrong when shipments come in. She’s a very warm, bubbly individual who has an optimistic outlook on things.
She can also be kind of a worrywart at times, not wanting anyone to accidentally get hurt because they weren’t careful. Gets along very well with her siblings, though she sometimes has to step in and diffuse any arguments. Humans:
Dr. Madeline Takahashi:
The creator of the DTN line and an old classmate and friend of Dr. Light’s. She’s very kind and caring, but will absolutely wack you on the head if you say something out of line. Seriously she’s able to lift most of her robots with little to no problem don’t test her. She cares greatly about the robots she creates, and views all of them as part of her family. As such, she absolutely dreads the day Wily remembers he had a few other friends in college that he could mooch off of for world domination.
Kress:
Tooootally a human and definitely not an alien robot cosplaying as a human. Totally. Ignore how their sclera sometimes turn black, they’re just wearing contacts! It’s fiiine Jamie introduced them to this cool anime and they really got into it, don’t worry about it. They can take things a little too seriously at times and can be a bit protective, but they mean well. *Really* doesn’t like Shadow Man for some reason, for Asimov’s sake stop hissing at him Kress!!
Jamie:
Works as a mechanic and is pretty damn good at his job, and can (and has) patched up robots when the situation calls for it. However he is very much a dumbass and sometimes gets into more trouble than he probably should. He’s got a big interest in supernatural stuff, and as terrifying as it was at first he’s ecstatic that his roomie and best friend is an alien robot. He will protect them with his life. Really, really wants to go spelunking in an old abandoned Wily castle but Kress said no. He’s gonna go one of these days though. Somehow.
Alexis:
Currently works in retail and is just. trying to get through college. She’s a big space nerd, and NO, Jamie, Pluto was designated as a dwarf planet for a REASON they can’t just put its planet status back! As much as she’d love to become an astronaut she’s fucking terrified of heights and math is not her strong suit so she’s content stargazing on solid ground thank you very much. She’s been friends with Jamie for awhile now, and found Kress more than a little intimidating at first. Now she considers them one of her close friends.

Anybody have an image of the supoosedly trashy ass new Cham pride adopts I've been hearing about? Chams blocked me from their group years ago because I made a furry chameleon adopt and they interpreted it as an offbrand -__-
here they are and they're just about as bad as you'd expect
probably the best one and that's a stretch because it's a fucking floatie but at least it has the cham stuff to resemble one. the next ones won't be so easy on the eyes
Tumblr media
i don't know what made this designer think to draw a fucking sea lion, slap literal paint on it with yassification nails, and call it not only a cham but a pride adopt. it's just a fucking sea lion
Tumblr media
enjoy your fucking velveteen rabbit, loser. or winner i guess because at least you won some trade fodder from this shitshow
Tumblr media
why are these just mammals with pride colors slapped on
Tumblr media
finally. a cham. a pretty ugly one with over saturated colors that strain your eyes to look at but at least it looks like a cham albeit bottom of the barrel. the hearts feel egregious and especially last minute pandering. the green and blue were actually a nice mix but candychameleon of course had to bump up the saturation and ruin it because the bitch can't see
Tumblr media
nvm turns out it was on a base with the same 20 second paint job of hearts and beginner level design sense. the paws annoy me the most because they're striped and it's just very tacky. the colors were also a soft, pleasing pastel that candy shat on. and then two primary colors of blue and yellow to really steal the color focus from the pink and make it hard on the eyes.
Tumblr media
literally a sandwich with a gay flag stuck in it. ah yes. the gays™. i heard they also enjoy sandwiches. which seems to be mostly bread, a few wisps of green stuff, rectangles of yellow, and red buttons. not even a good sandwich. fuck you
Tumblr media
no
Tumblr media
almost comforting to go back to the usual of an adopt that uses only the flag colors, which were made for a flag, and try to stretch them onto a whole body. looks like some purple gargoyle over the demisexual flag so instead of being a shitty pride adopt it just looks like a shitty cham adopt. swirl in the tail tacked on because they clearly forgot what they were trying to make chicken leg looking motherfucker
Tumblr media
gay holo-robo. strategically designed to pander to the two biggest interests in chams: gays and robots. from the fact the lineart's still black, to no shading at all, to the goddamn rainbow nails they had to add extra green and blues in it's such a thoughtlessly lazy idea
Tumblr media
fuck there's more than 10

Trade ya
based on this ask
TW//Slight violence and a mention of blood
-
Macaque slipped back into the theatre after his little chat with the Monkey Kid.
Boy howdy, that kid had some explaining to do, to his companions. If only he could stick around and watch that mess unfold. But he had to retrieve his lamp.
Honestly, that was easier than he thought it would be.
Wich was concerning.
As Macaque walked over to the stage he paused for a moment, where was (y/n) is all this?
The Monkey King was off doing his own thing for a while, and he'd assumed his kid would be hanging around Mk and his friends, yet the amber-furred monkey wasn't with them when they had entered the theatre.
Did Mk literally forget one of his friends? damn, he was starting to become like the Hero...
despite everything that's happened between them since the whole 'I stole the Monkey Kings powers from Mk and broke his trust leaving him emotionally distressed' thing, he actually wanted to get to know his kid(and maybe convince them to join him)the week of stalking wasn't enough for him to say the least.
Disregarding the thought (though not entirely) he make is way back to the remains of the lap.
And with a little magic it was good an new!
Fuck ya!
As he admirered his handy work for s little longer and sound of clapping caught is attention. Wiping his head around he saw the wired guy in a pin strip suit form the play, if Macaque remembered correctly this was the guy that game my the *Skeleton Key.
"My my, that was such a magnificent performance!"
"Ha, ya well it's over, t-this was the last show actually"
Oh he did not like this for a single second. His fur was standing on there ends screaming for him to just leave.
Just as Macaque was about to use the shadows to escape, in a flash of icy blue light the guy was now behind him, and the next thing he know he was being picked up by the neck and for some reason couldn't, fucking move.
What the actual hell is happening???
"Lady Bone Demon would like a word with you~"
In the blink of an eye, the scenery changed form the damaged auditorium he'd rented out to and underground cave with mechanical parts and machines everywhere.
Just one wif of the musty roten air and he knew he was in the Spider Queens lair. But it looked different then it had been that last time he was there.
Then again it's been centuries since he was last there.
He was shortly let go by the insane suite wareing guy and rubbed his neck where it had been grabbed. And just like that the guy disappeared, leaving the Lady Bone Demon in his stead.
"Why greetings Macaque, its beet long since we last spoke"
" not long enough if you ask me"
The white haired lady let out a hum of acknowledgement as she circled the monkey.
...
"Soo any particular reason why you got one of your brain dead servents to get me?" Macaque questioned, pulling back a bit not wanting to be in her immediate range.
Up purely tactical.
"Ah, well it's come to my attention that you poses something of grate use to me" her icy gaze fixed on the lamp.
"Ya not happening" Macaque said flatly, he went though a lot to get his hands on this thing and he wasn't going to part with it so easily. Besides what ever the Lady Bone Demon was planning, would spell doom for the world as they know it.
Macaque my be a bad guy in some sense, maby even be considered an antihero-that was just more of an ass on a good day- but he wasn't one for wold domination.
In the past he just wanted to wreck heaven with his dear beloved friend befor his change of heart, not enslave mankind. They just wanted to prove there worth nothing more. But this bitch, na she was jack shit crazy. It took the combined forces of Demons and celestials alike to seal her away, himself being one of said demons.
"Ohh what a shame, looks like I'll be keeping this little one then"
In a puff of smoke (y/n) collapses on the foor to her, there fur slightly matted with blood and a visible gash on the left eye.
Similar to where his was-
It wasn't deep and wouldn't cause damage, but it still needed treatment.
Holy hell is this where (y/n) was all this time?
Macaques mind was going a mile a minute but he kept his poker face.
"And I sould care about some random kid because?"
"Oh~ Don't play dumb with me, Six Eared Macaque. You know exactly who this little one is" she started using her powers for lift the amber-furred monkey off the ground there one good (color) eye glosed over and hazy.
"After all this is your child"
"Hate to brake it to ya, but I don't have a kid"
"My sources say other wise"
Several screens descended for the walls and around them, all flicked to like to reveal footage of Macaque during his little stalking mission when he first planed to steal the Monkey Kings powers and found out about his long lost kid, and then some other footage of his watching them from the shadows.
Oh, oh no.
"I had my suspension on the Luner New Years, but your reaction solidify's my assumption"
Wha- shit his poker face slipped! Shiiiit
"So I'll ask again, the lamp or your child- they won't die persay, but I think the underground market would pay a hefty sum for one of such unique lineage"
His heart was beating faster than he thought possible, wait why would it be doing that! He shouldn't care! Should he?
Glancing between the lamp and (y/n)'s beaten form Macaque made a decision he might soon come to regret.
-
(Y/n) was having a good evening, well that was until the Spider Queens minions jumped them while on there way to the theater to meet up with the others(minus Sandy, what he had cats to take care of!)
When the first woke up it was in a dingy cell. And the next thing they knew the Spider Queen tried to get information about the Monkey Kings whereabouts.
"Ya right like the peach loving old man tells me anything! So if you could kindly let me on my marry way that would be fantastic"
You realy needed to know when to such your mouth or just give total bullshit information because Queeni had gotten pissed, and tried to beat the information out of you.
The Lady Bone Demon had to pry the spider off you. Saying you still had a use befor you blacking out.
-
When they woke for a second time everything was hazy, and there was muffled talking almost like they where under water.
Water was nice, you should learn to swim! It seems like fun! Maby you could get Mk or Mai to teach you.
After all the Monkey King was a shitty swimmer- wait no he was crap as under water fights, but wouldn't that require swimming as well-
Uh oh, was you being moved? Nooo das no gooood stop!
Ughhh why won't the muffin voices stop! And why can't I feel my eye!
E-y-e
Y E S spelles yes
E Y E S spells eyes how did that one guy get that confused, and you is moving again ST 0 p
Wait this was more comfy than before, is that red? Oh my moons it is! It's so soft!
And soft it was and you drifted to a more comfortable rest this time.
-
The third and final time (y/n) woke, they weren't in a cell, or had a hazy mindset. Areas not that hazy, but this time it was more so due to medicine than pain.
In fact they lay on a plush mattress, with equally soft pillows and nice heavy blankets tossed other them.
As (y/n) sat up they winced in pain slightly.
Looking down they take notice of the bandages, and a slitting head- and there are bandages on your eye as well fucking perfect.
"Good to see your up" a voice greated. Wiping their head to the side, there stood Macaques with a slight concerned look on his face.
Wha- owowowowowowowow
Probably shouldn't be moving so fast as (y/n) winced in pain again.
As (y/n) tried to steady themselves again and think of a retort, and side of the bed diped and a hand was placed oh your forehead, whilst the other heaped your arm.
"What are you-" "checking to see if you're fever spiked " "I has a heaver?" "Fever, and yes it set is last night after a particularly nasty infection" "oh"
"Wait, why are you-"
"The Bone bitch had you, i-i couldn't just let her harm you any more than she already had"
"That's dumb, you're dumb"
Sigh
"Okay back to sleep with you"
"Where am I?" "One of my safe houses, now sleep"
Sleep but what if...
"I-its okay, it'll be okay I'll be here when you wake again"
(y/n) blinked at him.
"I promise" he said softly as he guided you back down to the pillow, he retucked you in and was about to leave when (y/n) caught his hand.
Well fuck
Uhhh, you know what he's had a long fucking day himself he needs some sleep too.
So discarding his scarf to the side, as well as some armor plating and his shoes, Macaque got into the bed himself and just used himself. As he made himself comfortable, back tuned away for his pup a single thought echoed in his head.
'Im a fucking dad now, geat'

*Skelton Keys are said to open any door, plus the cannon key had a skull on it so why not?
UwU Anon you have no idea what this means, you have water my crops cleared my skin and my mind is sane!
I was originally planing to have this thing where the spider queen captured the reader/oc and used the robo parasight to make them a follower, but this, this is so much better sksksksksksk

Sonally Celebration Week! Year Three, Day Six: Rescue
Sonally Celebration Week, Year Three, Day Six: Rescue
Day six, and admittedly the toughest piece to write since well, action scenes require more finesse than a domestic/slice of life story. The journey continues, and since my main focus mostly centers on Sonic and Sally’s post Robotnik/Eggman war peace time lives, I like to flex different events when the prompts give way to good inspiration. When one has to do with rescuing, well, let’s just say, if you’re dumb enough to harm someone’s children, woe comes to you in waves.
Day Six: Rescue.
It was supposed to have been a nice, pleasant day. Go to Spagonia with your big bro and his wife, enjoy flying in a fancy transport ship. While Sonic and Sally do the diplomatic thing, Sonia and Manic would watch J.C. and Kathy as they got to enjoy the city. See the sights, enjoy some ice cream and crepes from the city vendors, and just have a good old time! However, it wasn’t to last, the day was ruined when the sound of their ‘secret tail’ security guards crying out after being, well truthfully Sonia didn’t get to hear what exactly happened to their bodyguards (she hoped they were alive). All she heard was some muffled noise; some people screaming, and suddenly a van rolled up, and people in masks and jumpsuits grabbed and knocked them all out.
After coming too, she woke up to a bag over her head, only to have it torn off, and bright lights flashing in her face. A camera was aimed at them as some jerkoff using a voice-modulating helmet to obscure his identity was making some long list of demands and basically laid out they were collateral if those demands were not met. She tried to make everything out, but she was still groggy from waking up from whatever they used to knock her out. Manic was no better when she asked him if he gleaned anything she missed, sadly he was as groggy as she had been. She knew better than to ask the kids, clearly the six-year-olds were ‘terrified’ and wanted nothing more than to go home and jump into their parents arms.
Hell, the sixteen year old herself wanted to hug her parents just as badly. After that song and dance with the camera, all four were dragged to this cell of sorts, and left there with a guard detail. Whatever they wanted, they seemed to be serious, or at least wanted to come off that way. Her keen eye noticed some of their guards seemed unsettled. Like they were not keen they had kidnapped children. Maybe she, or Manic could use that? A little of the ol’ duo-charm to-.
“Auntie Sonia?” The small, childish voice snapped the older hedgehog out of her thoughts. Instantly her head snapped to the small child resting in her lap.
Forcing a calm smile, Sonia gently petted Kathleen’s soft auburn hair, which had blue tips at the end. Many thought it was dyed, but it was merely something that seemed to happen to both children, who inherited their Mother’s auburn tresses. Yet at the tips, bits of blue would form over time. No doubt the stubbornness of her big brother’s genes at work. Just hand to mingle with Sally’s.
“What’s up kiddo?” She asked her niece as she continued to stroke her head, and did her best to seem calm and collected. She and Manic were the adults here, they needed to be strong for these precious babies.
Green eyes look up, then over to the cell door, then back to Sonia’s own. “I wanna go home.” A simple request, but what child wouldn’t want to go home with this kind of situation abound? “Why do these guys wanna be mean to Mommy and Daddy?”
Another voice spoke up, the disdain high and snark on full. “Cuz they’re- and I quote.” Manic Hedgehog interjected, keeping his voice calm, and then upping the volume as he aimed his words at their guard. “A BUNCHA COWARDS WHO RESORT TO KIDNAPPING KIDS!!” He shouted with full malice at their captors, which made both children recoil, and his sister wince.
“Manic!” Hissed Sonia as she reached out and yanked at his ear. “Stop it! You’re just making it harder for J.C. and Kathy!” She growled at her brother, her eyes going to the door to their cell and sure enough their masked guard had turned to regard them. Thankfully he just turned away and went back to guarding.
“Well these bozos need to know what kind of d*ckless, wussies they are!” Retorted Manic, the green-dyed-furred hedgehog with a growl in his voice. Usually Manic was chill, and easy-going with a touch of mischief. He was running red right now, his niece, nephew and sister being put in danger can do that to someone. “Plus they’re f*cking idiots!”
“Manic, language!” Sonia chastised further as she covered his mouth with a hand. “Not that I disagree with you, but is antagonizing our captors the wisest idea?!”
Removing her hand from his mouth, Manic let out a dismissive snort. Yet his gaze softened some as he saw the kids were looking antsy again. “Maybe not, but seriously what kind of idiots kidnaps the Prince and Princess of a Kingdom? I mean, you want a war? Plus think of their parents, heroes of the war against the Big Robo and Big Eggy! I mean that’s a recipe for doom more than my Taco Tuesday Blowout Cookout.” The food wasn’t the issue, so much as the aftermath, but worth it in Manic’s eyes.
A small rumbling was heard and J.C. blushed as eyes rested on him. “...I’m hungry, and Uncle Manic makes great tacos.” He managed a smile, despite clearly still being scared.”
“Heheh, once we get out I’ll make us all some.” Manic promised as he lovingly scratched the back of his nephew’s ears. He did the same for Kathleen, not wanting her to feel left out. “Also, sorry about the yelling and language, I’m just pis-er-pointedly angry at the bad guys.”
“We’re ‘not’ the bad guys.” Their guard finally spoke, snorting loudly. The way he seemed to clutch his weapon and his covered tail (they seemed intent to make it hard to guess their species) twitch and move, hinted at his anger at such an accusation.
Despite having just chastised Manic for antagonizing their captors; Sonia found herself unable to not engage them. “Not from where we’re standing. Uncouth as my brother put it, he called it right. Nobody who kidnaps children are the good guys.”
“We’re not going to harm you, we’re just sending a message.” His steadfast tone, carried a firmness of whatever convictions he carried about their unknown ‘cause’.
“What sort of message? We’re kidnapping your kids, so we invite you to come kick our butts? Seriously, what else do you expect?” Sonia inquired, keeping her tone polite, hoping perhaps this guard might spill some kernel of information they could use. Then a thought occurred to her. “What happened to the bodyguards watching us? I heard them cry out, did you capture them too or did you kill them?”
“We shot them, but we didn’t shoot to kill.” The guard callously responded. “They should live.”
“Do you know that for a fact? Even a crippling gunshot can lead to death if they bleed out before they get help or the injury causes the right amount of trauma. I heard multiple muffled sounds… If they got shot multiple times that increases the chances they didn’t make it.” The magenta-dyed hedgehog stated with cold, medical fact. “They also had families, so nice job dipwad, you possibly widowed and orphaned two families.” It was petty, but seeing his body language shift and just slightly shake before firming back up gave Sonia a sense of satisfaction. “You could have used stun-blasters.”
The guard hissed back his reply, but she could tell he was trying to justify his words to himself. “You can’t silence stun-blasters.”
Rolling his eyes, Manic decided to chime in. “So you bozos prioritized not making noise, over making your little power grab as bloodless as possible.”
“If they die, our leaders will make it right, all of this has a purpose! It’s to make things better-!”
It wasn’t Sonia or Manic that cut the man off, but J.C.’s small but clearly angry voice. “So making Mr. Hunigan and Mrs. Fletcher dead is alright when you say so?” The boy’s fists clenched tightly. “They were nice people, and we know their kids, they’re our friends… you took their Dad n’ Mom from them you-you, j-jerk!”
“Gee, even the six year old can see it clear as day.” Sonia icily sneered at their captor, scooting closer she slid both her arms around her family and kept them close.
“Mommy, sh-she and Daddy are gonna find us.” Kathleen managed to speak up, wiping her eyes, like her brother managed the most fearsome glare she could. “They’ll find us and kick your butts! They’re heroes, they always save the day!”
Turning, the guard’s helmet, visor and cloth covering their mouth obscured whatever Mobian species they were. “Your parents are part of the problem! If not for the Acorn Kingdom’s meddling along with the other outsider nations, we wouldn’t need to do this!”
“Only meanies justify their actions by blaming others!” Humphed the young princess as she turned her head away, as if to utterly disregard her captor. Oh Sonia and Manic’s heart swelled.
“I gotta agree with Kathy here, sounds like blame-gaming here-.” Manic mused, only to be cut off by their clearly irate captor.
“If they hadn’t meddled with the trade tariffs making exporting goods harder, not to mention their invasive meddling with our affiliate cities-!”
A lightbulb went off in Sonia’s head. “Wait, wait, time out!” She put her hands together in the referee gesture to hopefully get a word in. “You guys are blaming them for the trade issues and the Acorn Kingdom’s presence in your sister cities? Um, dude, hoo boy, you are probably being played by whoever your leaders are.”
“Bite your tongue-!” “Okay you know what, screw that, and kids I’m sorry but-.” After giving her niece and nephew an apologetic look, she quickly sent her captor a fiery glare. “First off, F*CK you! Second, the Kingdom sent delegations to those cities BY REQUEST! The mayors asked for aid in looking into some oddities with exports from Spagonia going in and out because they realized something was hinky with the weird laws and micro-managing coming out of Spagonia’s Trade & Commerce Ministry. Any of your Minister’s calling the investigations meddling or preludes to occupation are trying to play the dodge game moron! Second of all, the tariff problem? I shouldn’t say this, but I love talking shop with my sis-in-law, and boy a lot of the issues stem from how they were set up, like someone ‘wanted’ the tariffs to cause issues and sow discord. It’s a big political set-up but my big-brained Sis likes big-brained chess and she’s onto some corruption from within Spagonia’s Trade & Commerce Ministry.”
She watched as the guard looked uneasy, and his compatriot to the far way seemed to be listening in as well and had lowered his weapon some. “That, that can’t be possible.”
Footsteps could be heard as another similarly dressed guard walked into view of the first one. “Ignore them comrade, they’re trying to unnerve you.” “What if it’s true our leaders are lying to us? Given who some of them are-.” “Shut your mouth before you give anything away!” The other, more burly guard hissed as he raised a gloved hand, poised to smack his comrade if he didn’t do as he said. With his associate cowed, he turned to the cell and pointed his weapon. “Shut your mouths or I might just have to shut it for you.”
Manic moved in front of his sister, nephew and niece, arms out. “Touch them buddy, and you and I are gonna tussle!”
“Uncle Manny don’t!” “D-don’t get hurt!” “Manny…” Sonia held the children close, but tried to soothe her brother. “Don’t, they’re clearly too deluded to listen.”
“You will see it is you who is delusional!” The burly captor spoke, with a zeal of a true-believer. “Once it’s clear your Queen and your treacherous nation are outed as the villains they are, things will become bet-.”
Suddenly the entire room rumbled, and the sound of muffled shouts, and fighting could be heard in the other room. All their captors turned toward the metal door just out of view of Sonia, Manic and the children. Suddenly the door flies off its hinges, slamming into the far guard who cried out in pain and terror as they are taken out. A familiar ‘rev up’ sound is heard and then a blue blur slams into the burly captor sending him flying. As the sounds of fists fly, another far off captor raises their weapon, only for the sound of jets to get clouder and a familiar southern drawl is heard shouting. “TAKE A NAP YA’ CREEP!” A blaster bolt is heard firing off screen. Soon a blue energy blast hits the captor, causing them to drop their weapon as the stun-bolt freezes their whole body. As another guard attempts to fight, the flying Rabbot zooms him and body-tackles the would-be-attacker, a loud, thick ‘crunch’ of metal hitting flesh is heard. Clearly a one-hit-KO.
The original guard readies their weapon, trying to pick a target, clearly panicking. “Ho-hold or I’ll shoot!”
*KER-SLICE!!*
Their weapon is cleaved in two, falling from their hands, and in the next half-second, the tip of the weapon responsible is held at their throat. This man finds himself looking into the very, angry blue eyes of the Queen of the Acorn Kingdom herself, Sally Acorn. Wielding an ornate sword with the crest of her family on the hilt, and ornate lines etched into the blade. For a second the guard swore the weapon’s blade glowed for a moment, but whatever the case, it was clear the Sword of Acorns (reforged and imbued with Sally’s residue Super energy) was capable of cutting quite nicely.
Her voice was ever commanding, calm and serene, yet deadly and potent. She was clearly angry, but using said anger as a laser-focused weapon instead of being consumed by it. For now.
“You will let my babies and my younger siblings out of that cell. Now, no questions. If you so much as dare do anything but I ask, you will regret it. Do not force me to spill blood before my children, because you WILL live to regret it.” She vowed.
“N’ she ain’t the only one you need ta’ worry about.” Uttered Bunnie Rabbot, as she got up from pummeling her foe into unconsciousness. She flexed both of her cybernetic arms which transformed into blaster mode on the right, and nasty energy axe on the left. “You further threaten my God-Children or Manny and Sonia’s well-being. I might just forget I’m a Southern Lady.” While plain and frank, there was a menace in her eyes mirroring Sally’s, and the hum of her weapons furthered showed she was not playing games.
A small ‘boom’ and a flash of blue from across the room, and the guard found Sonic the Hedgehog on the other side of him, arms crossed, and foot tapping rapidly. “Door, open, my kids and siblings safely in arms, now!’ He didn’t bother making threats, he didn’t need to.
The guard simply let out a pathetic sound, wet himself and passed out onto the floor.
Without a word, Sonic dug at their belt, found the key and quickly as he could unlocked the cell door, and threw it open. All anger, and intimidation left his face (as well as Sally and Bunnie who put away their weapons) as the look of a worried parent and brother overcame all else. “Are you four okay?! Did they hurt you any-?!” “DADDY, MOMMY!!” Instantly Kathleen, and J.C. dashed into the arms of their Father, with their Mother soon joining in the hug, checking them over.
“Oh my babies!” Sally clutched her family tightly, kissing the children all over their faces and tops of their heads, as she checked them for injuries. “It’s okay now, Daddy and Mommy are here, oh God I’m so sorry this happened, that we weren’t there to stop you from being taken.” She babbled, as the kept-in-check emotions burst from the dam she erected to focus on the rescue.
“We’re sorry, we’re sorry…” Sonic murmured, his heart still racing even with all his joy held firmly in his arms. Lifting his gaze, tear-stained he looked to his siblings worriedly. “How’re you two holding up? They didn’t hurt any of you did they?”
“Nah, they just… dragged us around at most.” Manic shrugged, but was clearly relieved this whole thing was over. As he stood he found his legs shaking, and leaned against his equally leg-shakey sister. “All that said, glad you guys found us so soon.” Moving closer, Bunnie shifted her arms, what was metal now, began to flash with energy and seemingly disassemble back to flesh and blood. The wonders of bio-nanite tech. Once her arms were organic again she pulled the two hedgehog siblings into a hug. “Sorry we didn’t get here sooner sugah, but we had to basically strong-arm some of the Spagonia government to give us the okay to act. Though once Sally n’ Sonic scared these bozos' supposed leaders into talkin’ they squealed like- well sumthin I can’t say within earshot of kiddos.”
Sonia let herself chuckle, relief and a sense of security flooding her being as she leaned into the hug. “So, lemme guess, the Trade Minister and his flunkies were the culprits?”
“Yeah, I mean we were gonna confront em’ with the evidence Nicole uncovered, but you all bein’ taken kinda forced our hands.” Bunnie further explained as she scratched the back of their ears soothingly. “U-Uncle Manny and Auntie Sonia, looked after us, we’re okay…” J.C. managed to speak once his throat wasn’t sore from crying (this time from happiness).
“Hmm-hmm, they’re the best as always!” Kathleen agreed, sniffling and wiping her eyes as she remained cocooned by her parents and brother.
Smiling, Sonic reached over and managed to give each of his younger siblings an affectionate arm-punch. “Somehow I knew they’d have it under control.” Well more hoped, but he didn’t want to devalue his sibling’s efforts. No if anything he wanted them to ride the pride of keeping themselves and the kids safe.
“Lucky for us, as Sonia called it, these guys were morons. Dangerous ones, but morons.” The green-furred hedgehog blew out a breath, and then he recalled something. “Um, ah, how’re Agent Fletcher and Hunigan?”
“Alive.” Sally replied, still nuzzling her children, still unwilling to let them go. Her own heartbeat was finally starting to calm down and the adrenaline high was crashing. “They were hurt badly, but both are tenacious and they got help just in time. They might have to retire from active duty early but we’ll be sure they’ll be looked after, their families too.”
“Oh thank goodness!” The two teens, and the younger children exclaimed, as joy at the news eased their hearts from the dread they felt prior.
Footsteps could be heard approaching, but the boot clomps’ were familiar. So no one tensed or got ready for another fight. Especially once Captain of the Royal Guard, Antoine D’Coolette emerged, wiping his sword blade clean with a cloth before sheathing it into its scabbard. “My Queen, ze fools have been disarmed, and rounded up. As you requested, we managed to take them all alive, if injured.” After a beat, he contemplated making a joke about some being ‘literally’ disarmed, but with the children there, he decided against it. “How are ze young ones?” He asked, decorum giving way to concerned God-Father, and as a fellow parent.
“Thankfully unhurt Sugah-Twan.” His wife replied, flashing a smile his way. “Where’s Tangle n’ Whisper?”
“Helping out Tails to ensure we didn’t miss anyone and secure the location.” Informed Antoine as he walked over, making sure all were fine, if to soothe his own fretful nature. They also will wish to zee’ that our rescuee’s are le’fine.”
Sniffing away the last of her tears, Kathleen looked up at her Mother. “Uncle Tails came too? I thought he was testing his new plane in the South Seas?”
“Once he heard the news, he jetted over as fast as he could and offered to help.” replied Sonic with a wide smirk of pride and relief for his ‘not-so-little’ bro. “Family sticks together, and well you guys are as much family as his own. Which by the way, I’m sure Tails will wanna set up a face-chat so Mina can see you’re all fine.”
“She is very fond of her biggest fans.” Chuckled Sally, who internally still found it ‘very’ weird, that Tails and Mina Mongoose hooked up. Their age gap wasn’t too bad, and clearly whatever happened to bring about their dating didn’t occur until Tais was eighteen/nineteen-ish. Then again he clearly had a thing for older women, at least his choices after Fiona Fox were an improved taste. As long as Mina was good to Tails, that was all she cared about, and they did seem like a good couple. Still weird but that was on her.
“Can we leave now?” J.C. asked softly looking up at both his parents hopefully.
“You got it son, we’ll juice n’ jam out of here and get you guys some food and tucked in for the night.”
“Can we have a sleepover in the hotel suite? Like all of us with blankets on the floor and pillows nests?” Asked Kathleen with big, hopefully eyes. A look her brother mirrored and nodded to her suggestion.
“Yeah, can we have a sleepover?!” Manic echoed, doing his best impersonation of the look.
“I don’t see why not, if everyone else is on board.” “Wouldn’t be hard for us all to fit in, big ol’ space, and like you could ask us to stay away after today.” Bunnie voiced her opinion with a warm smile at the children. Giving them assurance she was on board.
“Like the saying goes, the more the merrier.” Antoine stated to voice his blessing. “Plus I’m sure Bunnie and my own angels would love the idea as they too were worried about you four. As was your Nanny Miss Cream.” The coyote gently ruffled the hair of the two youngsters, his mind drifting to his children two years their senior. Yes, if they had been through this, he’d gladly acquiesce any whimsy they wanted within reason, and a sleepover to help soothe their nerves? A piece of cake.
Kathleen’s face fell as childish concern flooded her mind. “Oh no, that’s right, we were supposed to meet Jacque, Belle and Miss Cream after lunch…” “Hey they know we didn’t stand 'em’ up by choice.” Manic interjected as he flashed a smile and reached over to ruffle his niece’s cheek tufts.
“Let’s blow this pop stand, I want a hot bath, lots of bubbles and all the cheese cake…” Sonia muttered, feeling her own adrenaline rush and the weight of the whole ordeal finally sapping her energy.
“I hear that, let’s go home everyone.

Part 9  [FF | AO3] of Whirlwind: Jake should be used to ominous predictions by now. Randy should know better than to blindly follow McFist. Adrien should think twice before sneaking away. And Danny should’ve expected something like this when he got that phone call.
Previous | Timeline Post
-|-
7:29 PM
This Rotwood fellow wasn’t like Viceroy. McFist figured out that much from the walk back to the gala. Much of the crowd had dispersed now—he and Marci hadn’t been the only ones to seek out sustenance—and the emergency vehicles were gone, barring the EMTs who’d been stationed at the event anyway. Still, he could see one or two reporters hanging around, doing a few interviews with those left behind, and there were plenty of curiosity seekers hoping for a glimpse of the dragon display.
McFist was really getting the impression that Rotwood was one of those people, especially when he not-so-subtly brought up the dragon.
But that was fine.
It gave McFist the perfect opportunity to bring up this town’s Ninja. They’d apparently missed the first sighting—Marci’s window shopping had turned into very real purchases that she’d insisted on dropping off in their hotel room—and McFist had kept his eyes peeled ever since. This Ninja’s abilities and mannerisms were so like the one back in Norrisville, he wouldn’t be surprised to learn that this one was a descendent of the Norisu Nine.
Viceroy hadn’t turned anything up on that front, though, and McFist would rather he put more time towards building that dragon WND anyway.
“The dragon wheeled off in that direction,” McFist said with a vague gesture towards a pair of tall buildings a few blocks over, “and the area was thoroughly searched. Not by me, of course. Marci and I stayed around here to see if we could spot the Ninja coming back.”
Rotwood paused, and McFist stopped and turned to face him. “Ninja?”
“A Ninja fought off the dragon.”
“A Ninja,” Rotwood repeated. “Not another dragon?”
Another dragon would’ve been something to see, but McFist was more interested in the fact that Rotwood sounded disappointed that it hadn’t been another dragon. “You think there’s another dragon?” he asked instead.
Rotwood sniffed. “Dragons are real. What you saw here tonight— It was a real dragon. It was not some show.”
McFist let out a humming noise and hoped Rotwood would take it either noncommittally or as agreement. Dragons were real, eh? That made things much easier for him. Viceroy’s Robo-Dragon—
“They are,” Rotwood hissed to him. Clearly, he’d taken the sound to mean that McFist was humouring him. “The people here, they are blind to the magical world! They do not know how to look for it! They do not even believe magic is real! They think it is all merely parlour tricks!”
The man was passionate. McFist could work with this. “I know magic is real,” he said. “I know a sorcerer.”
Rotwood narrowed his eyes. “You are just humouring me.”
McFist shook his head. “Look up the stories about Norrisville. I know the real reason behind all those strange happenings—and how much of a menace the supposed town hero is. But keep that just between us, if you don’t mind.” Viceroy might not approve, but McFist didn’t see any reason not to be honest right now. There wasn’t anyone Rotwood could tell the truth to who would both believe him and be capable of ruining McFist’s efforts to capture the Norrisville Ninja.
Rotwood cocked his head and considered McFist for a moment. “This supposed town hero. You wish to show the rest of the town what they truly are?”
McFist smiled. This was going better than he’d hoped. “If I can just capture him, I’ll be able to let everyone know the truth.”
“I have a similar goal,” Rotwood said slowly. “The people here, they are not as open-minded as you. They do not believe me when I tell them about all the magical creatures.” He hesitated, and when McFist let the silence stretch, Rotwood continued, “I know all manner of tricks when it comes to dealing with magical creatures. I could perhaps assist you with your problem if you help me with mine.”
“The hero in Norrisville is a Ninja, not necessarily a magical creature,” McFist said, though in truth he still wasn’t completely sure what the Ninja was. Viceroy was convinced he was a high school student, but that still didn’t explain the legend of the Ninja throughout the history of Norrisville, and the one time he’d tried to ask the Sorcerer for details, it had gone poorly. To put it mildly.
McFist hadn’t dared ask again.
“I have books. I can help with magic. I can craft traps. If you wish to capture this Ninja of Norrisville, I can help you.”
“I want to capture that Ninja,” McFist agreed, “and I want to know more about the one that came here. Tell you what, Hans—can I call you Hans?—you help me with my little Ninja problem, and I’ll help fund your research into getting solid proof that there are magical creatures in this city, too.”
Rotwood grinned as if he hadn’t been the one to follow exactly where McFist had wanted to lead him. As if the reverse were true instead. Perhaps it was, if they’d both had the same idea. Either way, Rotwood stuck out his hand. “You have a deal.”

7:30 PM
Every step was a fight, an exhaustive battle she was slowly losing. Susan stumbled to a sidewalk bench and sat down, hunching over and trying to catch her breath. She couldn’t remember when she’d grasped her necklace again, but it was cutting into her hand and she couldn’t force her fingers to release it.
She could feel magic raging within her, wanting release. It hummed in her blood, pushing against its confines, trying to sweep over her in a rush of a dragon’s fire and change skin to scales. It was a form she’d never thought she’d hold. It was…it was a form she still shouldn’t hold. It was supposed to be locked away, bound too tightly to ever be released. She’d forced the lock open, and now it wouldn’t stay closed, mixing with the other magic and roiling—
She had traded too much for its freedom, and she hadn’t paid the full price yet.
Susan blinked. The world sharpened, becoming more bright and vivid and detailed. Eyes of the Dragon. She jolted to her feet, looking for somewhere to hide. Fighting off the transformation was so tiring. Too tiring. She was beginning to give ground even when she didn’t want to, and whatever changed next might not be so innocuous.
She needed help, but she had to stay as far away from the person who should help her as possible.
She couldn’t involve the American Dragon.
She couldn’t involve any of her family.
People might not call them superheroes, not when magic and responsibility sang in harmony in their blood in a melody interwoven with a counterpoint of inevitability and expectations, but she wasn’t sure she’d be able to bite her tongue if Hawk Moth asked her about them. And if she went to them or they came to her, he would ask. She knew he would. She could feel his curiosity even now, far away from him as she must surely be.
As for the other condition of their bargain, she wasn’t yet sure who she’d doomed. She didn’t know who Chat Noir was, didn’t know anything about his ring, but she knew that knowledge would come. Right now, it was just out of her reach. If she stretched for it, she’d give in, and she couldn’t risk that. It would condemn too many people, and she doubted this Chat Noir deserved it any more than her son did.
Why had she agreed?
Why had she let the sudden consuming need to realize her childhood dream overshadow the acceptance she’d acquired long ago?
It would be so much harder to lose it now that she knew exactly what she’d have to give up. Having had a taste of what could have been—should have been—reality would become much more bitter. No amount of magical knowledge or tiny tricks of borrowed magic would satisfy her now. She might not even be able to smile when one of her elven staff cast a quiet spell to keep the flies from the food when their venue was outdoors, to keep the drinks cool while the air was warm, to—
Susan sobbed.
She…she didn’t want to give it up.
Why couldn’t she decide to just give it up when it would mean saving her family? Saving her friends?
She slipped into the tight space between buildings, trying not to gag as her overly-sensitive noise picked up the smell of rot, fetid water, dried blood—
No. She mustn’t think about all that. Her stomach was already rolling at the thought, and she couldn’t be sure there wouldn’t be fire within her, ready to burn, ready to cleanse.
She tried to scrape her hand over the rough brick of the wall beside her. A minor abrasion, that’s all she wanted, something to bring her back to reality without harming her later—
Claws dug into crumbling mortar instead, scales neatly protecting her from even minimal harm, and she tucked her left hand to her body. Her right was still soft, human flesh, its grasping fingers wrapped tightly around her necklace that pulsed with power even now.
She wasn’t winning.
Running away wouldn’t work.
She needed to confront what was inside of her. What had been released. She wasn’t in nearly as much control as she pretended, and that became clearer the longer she stayed away. She had to find the one who had done this to her and find out how he had done it to her.
It was easier to ignore him when the magic hadn’t consumed her, when she wasn’t transformed, but she was already slipping, and—
And she’d never find him if she didn’t go back.
If she didn’t risk running into her son.
If she didn’t risk her family’s secret.
Another wave of magic coursed through her, and she tentatively flexed her wings, relishing how good it felt to stretch them. How proper. How right.
She couldn’t fight this forever.
Susan took a slow, deep breath, held it for a moment, and then breathed out fire as she allowed herself to transform again.

7:31 PM
Danny had had no luck in his search and had joined them on the ground, collecting his cell phone from Randy and passing Haley the spare Fenton Phone. Jake grimaced, but he wouldn’t be able to get a new phone for Randy till this was over. For now, the Fenton Phones were going to have to be their main source of communication between each other.
Fu and Gramps kept checking in—mostly Fu, who was still better with all the technology than G—but they weren’t coming up with anything, either. Haley, for all that she’d insisted she wanted to help, was not. Jake was beginning to wonder why he’d ever asked for her to come in the first place. Or why he’d agreed to let her work directly with him instead of staying with Gramps.
The fact that Trixie and Spud had phoned him to say Rotwood had gotten away from them hadn’t improved Jake’s mood. It was Rotwood. And Trixie and Spud were good, which meant that it had been that much more unlikely that Rotwood would have succeeded in giving them the slip, and Jake had been counting on the fact that he wouldn’t. Sure, Trixie and Spud could’ve had an off night, and Jake really couldn’t blame them, especially considering how often they helped him out, but did it have to be tonight? Now? Did it have to be this crisis that was hanging over his head when Rotwood finally got the better of them? Couldn’t it have just been trolls in the sewers or something?
His mood might have improved if Chat Noir—Nino, as he’d told them to call him—had been able to give them a description of Hawk Moth, but apparently that guy also ran around in a mask.
“We don’t usually fight him in person,” cat boy had explained. “It’s mostly just the people he akumatizes—like your mother—and the monsters they create. He fights smart. He won’t face us directly unless he’s confident. Even before realizing I was here, he’d have holed up somewhere. He wouldn’t expose himself when he doesn’t know what he’s up against.”
“So that’s why she was just playing with me earlier?” Randy asked, giving a sidelong look at Haley. “You think this was his strategy, not hers?”
His response was a helpless shrug. “Hawk Moth couldn’t have known that I would be here. Like I said before, he must be looking for something or he wouldn’t be doing any of this.”
“Great,” Jake said flatly. “So chances are he’s actually after something I’m supposed to guard.” He glanced at Danny. “Which means everything I told you was right, except that Nino here isn’t the one behind it. Or working with the evil guy.” He grimaced, then added, “Sorry about all that.”
“I get it.” The response wasn’t forgiveness, not yet. Not that Jake actually expected that. “People don’t always realize that destruction can be a good thing.” Then, “If you’re right about Hawk Moth looking for something that you have, you can’t fight her.”
“What?” That was Haley. “But she’s our mom! We have to save her!”
“It’s not just about saving her. You also need to protect whatever you’re supposed to be protecting. The rest of us can save her for you.”
“Not that you don’t raise a good point,” Danny said slowly, “but, uh, Susan would already know about all of that stuff. They’re not going to lose anything by fighting her that they haven’t already lost. And, I mean, if it’s that bad, then she could be back at the shop right now stealing whatever Hawk Moth wants.”
“He doesn’t mind control people. I mean, he can give people the power to do that to other people, but the people who are akumatized aren’t under his total control. He can’t use their knowledge against them and make them do things they don’t want to do. He can just…. He can twist their thinking, make them see justice or vengeance in their wrong actions, but he doesn’t take away their free will. That’s why he can hurt them if they try to stray from their deal. He’ll find a way to force their hand or he’ll take away their power.”
“So he can’t just compel them to do something?” Jake asked. That was better. That was a lot better, actually. His mom wouldn’t—
“No, but he could convince them to do something they’d never ordinarily do. If he got me, I’d be willing to give up my Miraculous then and there. Your sister would use you as bait without blinking an eye. Your friend would be willing to kill you to harvest your energy in order to go back in time. Your—”
Or not.
“Okay, okay, I get it.” Jake held up his hands. “I just….” He let out another groan as he dropped his hands. “So we can’t find Hawk Moth, we can’t find Mom, and she might sneak back and give him everything he wants and expose what we are in the process.”
“That might already have happened.”
Jake jumped and spun, looking for the voice he didn’t recognize. Nino smiled weakly and pointed at his shoulder—or, more specifically, at the tiny cat-like creature poking its head out from his hood by his chin. “Nooroo would know that something was different, and if Hawk Moth knew enough to ask, Nooroo would answer.”
“That’s Plagg,” Danny said in a stage whisper, and Jake just tried to take a slow breath to calm his racing heart. Hadn’t he had enough surprises for one day? He wasn’t even sure what it was. Some kind of fey?
Whatever. That didn’t matter right now, as long as Jake was careful not to offend Plagg. “So you’re telling me that you think Hawk Moth already knows that we’re dragons.”
“He might not know you’re dragons, but he would know you’re magical. If he asked. Which he probably did. If he didn’t know how to control Nooroo, we’d have rescued him already.”
This day was not getting better.
Jake pulled out his phone and started texting Fu. “I think Marty lost the last poker match to Fu, so he can guard the shop. I know G’ll already have people watching it—they never leave it unattended—but we should have someone in the back if this is as big a risk as you say.”
Haley poked him in the side. He stopped texting long enough to glare at her before he took in the look on her face, and he let his expression soften. “What?”
“If you think Mom might betray us, even if she doesn’t mean to, I should get Sun to help, too. She must have seen the news. She’ll know something’s going on anyway.”
“Right. I forgot about her. Thanks.” Haley had a cell phone, but it was only for emergencies, so it was just the pay-as-you-go sort. He finished sending the message to Fu and then handed her his phone. “Use mine to call her.”
Haley nodded her thanks and walked a short distance away from the buzz of their conversation to make her call. Jake turned back to the others. “We need a plan.”
“When do you ever plan anything?” Danny asked. “I mean, even when you do, when it does it work?”
“Not as often as I’d like,” Jake acknowledged, which was a code for practically never, but he didn’t want to tell that to Randy and Nino, in case they had better luck than he ever did. “But, c’mon, you’ve gotta admit we can’t go into this blind.”
“We aren’t going into it blind,” Randy said. “Nino’s told us a lot, and we already know we need the necklace. We just need to find your mom first.”
“It’s not just a matter of needing her necklace,” Nino interjected. “It’s getting it, too. Jake’s right. We need a plan. She’s smart, and she’ll do everything she can to protect it. And…and we need to catch the akuma before it multiplies.”
“Before it what now?”
“If we don’t catch it, if I can’t get it back to Ladybug to purify it, then it’ll multiply and infect other people. And then you’ll have a city full of people who can turn into dragons, all searching for whatever you’re trying to protect.”
Jake stared at him. “You’re kidding. Please tell me you’re kidding.”
Nino shook his head. “When we defeated the Critic,” he said, gesturing to Randy, “and the akuma was released, I chased after it to try to catch it. That’s when you found me.”
“I hate where this is going,” Jake muttered. “You didn’t catch it. I know you didn’t catch it. So you’re telling me that one would’ve multiplied, too? We’re gonna wind up with a whole bunch of people turning into this critic?”
“No,” Nino said, and some of Jake’s panic evaporated. Some. Not enough. “Hawk Moth only ever sends out one akuma at a time. He would have recalled that one before he akumatized your mother.”
Small mercies.
“How are you going to get the akuma back to Paris without it getting away?” Danny asked, and Jake almost wished he hadn’t. Why did he have to think about that?
“I don’t know,” Nino admitted, “but the only other way to make sure it doesn’t multiply is to purify it, and I can’t. Ladybug, my partner— She’s the one with that power, not me.”
Randy glanced at Jake. “If you have a shop full of magic stuff, would you have something he could use? To contain it or purify it or something?”
“Maybe? I don’t even know. I’ll have to talk to Gramps when Haley’s done. I haven’t exactly memorized our inventory. We don’t sell the magic stuff. It’s an electronics shop.”
“Oooh. So that’s why you didn’t feel bad about trashing my phone.”
“I’ll replace it,” Jake insisted. “I swear. I just…. After. Once we’ve dealt with this and I have time to think.”
“You’d have to be confident that whatever you gave me to use would work,” Nino said. “The akuma isn’t going to be slow. I’ll probably only have the one chance to catch it.”
Jake groaned. “Can’t you just destroy it? You have the power of destruction, don’t you?”
“Hitting it with Cataclysm would only disperse the corrupted magic,” Plagg said. “It won’t get rid of it.”
Danny looked at Randy. “You said you deal with something similar, right?”
“Stanking,” Randy said, “but the stank just returns to the Sorcerer when I release it. I don’t have to do anything to it. I don’t think I could even if I wanted to. Unless you have some kind of magical air purifier?”
He’d directed this last question to Jake, and Jake rolled his eyes. “What do you think?”
“I think it would be super bruce if you did and I’d want to borrow it.” He paused. “Can I borrow it?”
“I don’t think that exists.”
“But you could ask around, right? Since you broke my phone ‘n’ all. That was a shoob move. You kinda owe me.”
“Fine, okay, I will, later. Right now, we need to—” Jake broke off when he saw Randy stiffen. “What?”
“McFist is back,” Randy said, ducking behind Nino. “He’s gonna wonder if he sees me here.”
“Friend of yours?” Danny asked.
“Try enemy set on destroying me.”
“And he knows you personally? As Randy?”
“Well, he probably wouldn’t remember my name, but you never know. And he’ll know I’m from Norrisville even if he doesn’t know who I am. I’m wearing too much of his stuff.”
“You— what?” spluttered Danny. “Why?”
“Is he a fashion designer?” Nino asked, as if that were remotely relevant. “I’ve never heard of him.”
Like any of them could name a whole bunch of fashion designers. Jake couldn’t even remember who was supposed to be putting on this show, and he’d wound up trashing the place. Then again, maybe Nino had a point. This McFist might’ve come for the show, to check out the competition. Still, point or not, it wasn’t exactly relevant to their present situation.
“It’s not really fashion,” Randy said. “And it’s comfortable. But it’s more like… Merchandise, I guess. McMerch, to be specific. But he sells a lot of candy and stuff, too. McSquiddles are the cheese.”
“Cheese?” Plagg perked up, and Nino shushed him.
“You buy stuff from your enemy?” Danny asked incredulously. “Even though he’s trying to destroy you? Why the heck would you support him like that?”
“Because it’s comfy. And super bruce. He makes a lot of good stuff.”
“You’re crazy,” Jake said, and Danny nodded his emphatic agreement.
Randy shrugged. “Point is, he’ll wonder if he sees me. Especially if he saw me earlier as the Ninja.”
Jake sighed and turned to get a good look at this McFist, thinking he was probably the same man he’d overheard on the phone earlier. And then he blinked. “Aw, man.”
“What?” Danny asked, and then he looked, too. “Oh, crud.”
“Things are not going to stop getting worse for us,” Jake muttered, motioning for them all to join Haley just inside the mouth of the alley. To Nino and Randy, he said, “McFist is talking to Rotwood. Someone who wants to expose me as a dragon to the nonmagical world. Assuming anyone still doesn’t believe in dragons after Mom showed up. Because that’s another thing we have to figure out, by the way. How to make this look like the whole thing was a hoax. I can’t have it getting out that magic exists—really exists—to the general public. The Dragon Council would have my hide.”
“Hawk Moth attacks Paris all the time now,” Nino offered. “That will probably convince them that this dragon isn’t anything more than that.”
“Not with Rotwood around.”
“It might be a start, though,” Danny pointed out. “We’ll figure out the rest of that as we go. I’m good at thinking on my feet. Besides, at the rate we’re going, we’re not gonna have a fully formed plan anyway.”
Jake didn’t argue, even though he wanted to, because he knew Danny was right.
Improvising it was, then.

7:32 PM
Gabriel felt the moment Nooroo’s magic flared to life and took hold of Dracona again. Finally. Despite his best efforts, he hadn’t been sure he’d ever get through to her. Whatever sort of innate magic she had, it had fought against Nooroo’s. He still wasn’t sure if he’d won the fight or if she’d thrown it, but she was back, and he needed to speak with her.
He glanced across the room to Nathalie, catching her eye before giving a discreet nod. The others in the meeting room didn’t notice, too busy arguing about one thing or another. He’d barely been in this meeting for ten minutes, finally acquiescing to put in an appearance and giving his excuses for tardiness, and he’d regretted coming the moment he’d stepped into the room. He didn’t have time to deal with these children, squabbling over fault and insurance and deadlines and payments and alternate venues and vendors. Nathalie could handle this on his behalf; she’d already given him as much on Susan Long as he suspected she’d be able to find on such short notice, and he didn’t mind pulling her off of that to deal with this fully, at least now that Dracona was back.
Nathalie approached him and stood discretely at his side. “Sir,” she said, pitching her voice just loudly enough to be overheard by his neighbours despite the argument taking place, “I’m afraid your son is in urgent need of your attention.”
The nearest branches of the argument broke off, though those sitting farther away continued to talk over each other, oblivious.
“It appears he was inside when the fire began,” Nathalie added.
“Smoke inhalation?” the man seated on Gabriel’s right guessed, even as the one on his left snorted.
“Took them a damned long time to realize who he was and track you down. Go. Your son can’t wait for this mess to be over.”
“Thank you for your understanding,” Gabriel said smoothly as he rose to his feet. His glance at Nathalie’s tablet was perfunctory. The others would believe it provided him with all the information he needed, such as a brief idea of what had happened and where his son was, leaving him to find out the details when he arrived by Adrien’s side, and it would forestall any more questions they might try to throw at him or Nathalie right now. “Please make my apologies to the others. Nathalie will be my proxy; she’s more than qualified when it comes to handling company matters, and I trust her decisions completely.”
The truth was, Gabriel had no idea where Adrien was, but the boy should be in his room. It wasn’t Gabriel’s job to keep track of him; that fell to his security guard and, of course, Nathalie, though he knew she’d been juggling other jobs in the meantime. Whatever the case, Adrien was surely safe or he would have been alerted.
Assured in that knowledge, Gabriel put Adrien out of his mind and hastened back to his private suite without even pausing to knock on Adrien’s door.
Nooroo slipped out of his interior breast pocket the moment he’d locked the door behind him. “Master, we shouldn’t—”
He didn’t have time to listen to Nooroo’s worries. “Dark wings rise, Nooroo.”
The magic rushed back over him, consciousness of Dracona’s surroundings settling into the familiar place where it should be. She was flying high, winging above the skyscrapers. For all that she took too many slow, gliding turns, she was coming back, just as he’d hoped she would. “Dracona,” he said, “are you ready to uphold your end of our bargain?”
“I don’t want this anymore.”
There was desperation in her voice. She perhaps attempted to veil it, but if so, she did a poor job. She wasn’t only desperate to break this bargain; she was still desperate to keep it. Fighting with herself. No doubt, whatever innate magic she had that so unnerved Nooroo wasn’t strong enough to shut him out forever. Not when she still so longed for what she’d been given.
He could recall the akuma now, of course. Whatever Nooroo thought, it was that simple. He could simply let her transform back and fall from the sky. There was no Ladybug to set things right, and he’d find her family when they learned of what happened.
He didn’t like things to be so messy, though.
“You agreed,” he said mildly. “Surely you don’t want to break our agreement. Think of your son.”
He felt the shock jolt through her, far more effective than the pain he’d tried to send her earlier, back before she’d shut him out.
“What do you know of my son?”
The words were hissed, defensive. She hadn’t asked what he meant. She hadn’t wondered why he’d make such a threat. But what she had asked, now, that was curious. It implied that there was indeed something to know of her son. Perhaps he should not be surprised. Blood magic was blood magic, after all.
“He is a curiosity,” Gabriel hedged, and then he made a gamble. “Why don’t you tell me about him?”
Silence. Silence, but not a broken connection. He hadn’t pushed her to withdraw from him entirely again. Mulish though she was, if his growing suspicion was right, she’d tell him. She’d have to tell him or she’d lose everything. Whatever she tried to tell herself, whatever she’d tried to tell him, she wasn’t willing to give up the freedom she felt.
And it was so terribly easy for him to amplify that desire within her, the fear of losing what he’d gifted.
“He is still learning,” came her quiet answer, “but he has already bested those more fearsome than you.”
Doubt danced in her voice, and Gabriel smiled.

I saw a post that @foximator-blog made showing their fire Imaginators and thought maybe I would show the Imaginators I've made :3... I hope this doesn't make you feel like I'm stealing your idea, just thought it would be a fun thing to try
Tumblr media
This imaginator is based off myself

Catchphrase: the wind feeds the fire!
Gender: female
Element: fire
Battle Class: bowslinger
Species: human
Senseis: Wolfgang, Buckshot
Personality/Story: Natalie has autism which makes it a little hard for her to understand some things but she is strong and brave with a caring heart of gold and has managed to make some villains see the error of their ways just with her kind and gentle words, Her bow is powered by a real dragons fire breath. Sometimes she gets scared from the loud noises and fighting but her Senseis and friends are there to help when needed
Likes: playing piano, drawing, hanging out with Dr Krankcase and watching him work on inventions, translucent colourful things, sleeping, making people laugh
Dislikes: when people tell lies, bullies, (she thinks they are annoying idiots) tacos, (they make her feel sick) people yelling, (it scares her sometimes)
Tumblr media
This one is based off my actual guardian angel
Name: Dingo Allens
Catchphrase: the winters from above!
Gender: male
Element: water
Battle Class: knight
Species: angel
Senseis: Wildstorm, Ambush
Personality/Story: Dingo is very understanding and protective but can also be a jokester at times and enjoys a good laugh. he is also Natalie's guardian angel so he's always there to keep the bad sprits away when she sleeps. Despite being listed as a water element Dingo actually has ice powers and used his ice breath to create his sword, he was also born in heaven
Likes: singing, making things and changing outfits with his ice power, flying around the academy with Sonic Boom and Whirlwind, annoying villains, (he finds it funny when they get angry and try to charge at him but he flies out of reach)
Dislikes: people pulling at his wings, (sometimes kids will grab ahold of his feathers and pull on them which really hurts him, good thing he can make his wings disappear and reappear whenever) spicy food
Tumblr media

Eugene may be a mean man but he can be very nice and gentlemanly... When he wants to be
Likes: jewels and other priceless things, playing pranks with Flare Wolf, his friends, (especially because they care even if he is rude) fighting, scaring trolls with his power so they will pull his trade cart for him

She loved playing around with other dragons and was quite careless with her actions, But one day her carelessness got her caught in the crossfire of a dragon battle and sadly passed before anyone could save her. Some dragons brought her to Master Eon and he helped their friend by transferring her soul into a spare robot Dr Krankcase had in his workshop, Zora was brought back to life but now with a quiet, none destructive and more careful personality

Element: dark
Battle Class: brawler
Species: faun
Senseis: Crash Bandicoot, King Pen
Personality/Story: fauns are usually born to be of the life or earth element but when Leodora was born the other fauns were shocked to find out she was a dark element and some thought it was a sign of evil while others thought it was a miracle. When fauns become teenagers they get to choose an animal spirit to gain their power, some animal spirits are good and some are bad, as expected the teen fauns chose a good spirit like a bird, Fox etc although Leodora was usually sort of friendly and kind she liked to misbehave at times and wandered off to the bad sprits area. For some reason she was drawn to the lion spirit which is one of the evilest spirits and also hard to control. A elder faun saw her walking towards it and reached out to stop her but it was to late and she was already being surrounded with its power. The elder faun stared at her in amazement as she looked at him now with glowing red eyes and had managed to control the spirit, now she is a Skylander and is still learning new abilities but her favourite is her all mighty lion roar.
Likes: scaring and defeating villains with her load roar, running really fast, learning, winning roaring competitions with wildstorm,
Dislikes: Zora, (Zora and Leodora are like rivals and manage to turn anything into a fight or competition) when people are too bossy, fruit cake

Predictions for the Financial Advice Sector in the UK
It was late November, dark and the eighties. I knocked on the door and was immediately welcomed in, offered a cup of tea and sat on the sofa. I'd never met them before, although they were expecting me and I wore a suit. And that night they were happy to sign up a Standing Order for £120 a month for the next 25 years.
As a financial adviser at the famous sistema financiero Prudential Insurance Company, I advised and sold hundreds of financial products to a myriad of customers, both rich and poor and my company serviced the vast majority of the UK's population without asking for a penny in return. We ran a commission based business with the provider paying this. All over the UK similar sales people were operating in the same model and UK consumers never lacked access to quality advice.
Naturally some of this advice was rather dubious, we know this and our regulators have slowly fixed this in a very painful but needed manner, a little bit like removing infected teeth. Witness T&C, pension scandals, PPI mis-selling, FOS.
The last wave of the flag was witnessed with the eradication of commission on wealth and pension advice which came about in 2013. The regulator's argument was that commission drove mis-selling and that accepting a fee only for the actual time spent with the adviser would produce totally impartial advice.
It did. It also reduced the number of advisers, both independent and restricted, to just over 25,600 and drove these advisers to service only the wealthiest customers who both value advice and could afford it. The rest of the population was left to wither on the vine.
Thankfully our regulators have instigated some changes called the Financial Advice Market Report or FAMR which has pretty much concluded what I said in the paragraph just before this one. But progress is being made, particularly in encouraging robo advice models and removing the litigation hurdle many firms use to avoid dealing with the mass markets.
Add this to the apprenticeship levy on firms which will encourage training of new advisers, and I do believe we're on the right roadmap. So here's my predictions on how it'll all look in 2020.
Low cost - low touch advice
Robo advice will become ubiquitous. Generation Y and older Zs, who have money to invest, will go online and enrol in advice systems that are controlled by computer algorithms. The algos will create an investment strategy based around risk issues and other needs. Investing will be mostly in passive funds - funds tracking indexes, exchange traded funds and other software based funds requiring no humans apart from coders.
Remember Gen Ys trust computers more than humans. At the dinner table last Sunday my son asked me when the Beatles released Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. I said 1966, he immediately checked his phone and Google said 1967, Guess who he believed? And rightly so.
They will access their funds' performance online, pay very low annual fees, a fraction of that charged by active fund managers. The Gen Ys won't want to see an adviser unless they are willing to, and they value personal service.
For those wanting the human touch, or those who are willing to pay a little more for their advice, the paraplanner model will work well. An online meeting with a suitably qualified individual starts the process. The video meeting or virtual reality equipment will simulate the face to face meeting as well as technology will allow. The adviser would be less expensive, a paraplanner, a new adviser with less experience, maybe someone training. The key here is that they are cheaper than a fully qualified adviser. They would carry out the factfind and engage with the customer. Specific and soft needs would develop in a similar manner to a factfind carried out by a fully qualified adviser.
The planner would then transfer the results into a robo system which would then create the advice. The advice would then be delivered to the customer. An alternative model would involve the advice being vetted by a qualified adviser, and then it would be delivered.
Regular reviews would occur automatically using the same process and the qualified adviser would only be involved as and when needed.
High cost - high touch
Available to those who are willing to pay fees in a similar manner to legal and accountancy advice. Ostensibly the same model as we've seen before; a series of face to face or virtual reality meetings would evolve into personalised advice being provided. The best advisers would still use robo systems to augment their advice, these systems would do much of the crunching and administration but they would still be involved in advising and vetting the results.
Increasingly fund management would be conducted using passive methods, i.e. no active fund managers, as robo systems and algo based programmes become more and more reliable and effective. Humans will be moved on from this role except for the high end hedge funds.
The end of the face to face advising era will soon become apparent as communication via virtual and augmented reality gradually replaces personal interactions. I'll still appear in my customer's front room and be able to build rapport and trust, but I won't be able to drink a cup of tea provided by the customer, that might be around in 10 years further on.
A Peek Into 2030
2030, we're talking about a completely different model for receiving financial advice. Here's a peek.
The IFA that we know today will be doing another job. What kind of job we don't know, since it hasn't yet been created. She will be doing something mentally demanding that automated intelligent computer systems can't yet do.
Financial advice of any sort will be recognised by your personal digital assistant. This is the conduit we will all use that accesses what we currently call "Big Data"; data held in the cloud that has been collected about you since the early part of the century. Your assistant, which we'll call Lola, knows you and everything about you from the myriad of sensors that have been gaining data.
Government computer systems covering your education results, tax returns, the car you drive, your visits abroad. Retailer systems showing everything you've ever bought. Tesco showing everything you've ever eaten. Banks displaying all of your financial transactions since you were born. Bear in mind cash was abolished in 2020.
Your wearable technology screening every signal from your body - exercise routines, blood pressure, illnesses. Your car data showing every journey you've taken. Social media streams with enormous amounts of data on your life.
The list goes on. Lola knows everything about you and you rely on her as your life coach. So when you need financial advice, Lola has already picked this up and will offer it to you without you asking. She recognised the inheritance in your bank account and understands your risk attitude and your goals for the future, so she'll link to some algorithms in the cloud and provide the advice automatically. It'll just happen, you've allowed it.
She'll know when you need a mortgage from your email and social media steams and will just find one that is suitable and arrange it. No humans, just algos.
Life insurance. There'll be no such thing because Big Data will know from your genetics, wearables and DNA, how long you're going to live for anyway, so accidental life assurance will be offered at individual rates direct from the cloud. Motor insurance? No need, you won't be driving the car anymore and accidents stopped in 2022.

Things I gotta figure out for my crossover/working on
So, this is a crossover b/w Animorphs (semihard/semisoft? scifi) and Ben 10 (soft sci-fantasy) and since Ben 10 shares a world with The Secret Saturdays (full sci-fantasy) also crossing over with that.
And for the purposes of things the city Animorphs takes place in is going to be made the same city as Bellwood. Both share plenty of features ie.
-A beach
-Lots of forests
-close to the Badlands/desert
-Not terribly far from a government base in the desert/Badlands that has rumors of alien stuff
that means that we have the Yeerks invading, Vilgax looking for the Omnitrix, Limax kidnapping the elderly, the Great One tries to devour the Earth, the mushroom people attempting to devour folks and spread their spores, Forever Knights being dicks, robo squids in the Bermuda Triangle, Ghostfreak (who’s real name I can’t spell) attempting to terraform the Earth, the Naga and VV Argost trying to take over the world, ‘cryptids’ around the world getting increasingly aggressive all to account for. Ans other things.
(plus all of my hcs)
So differences for the Animorphs side of things:
--There’s literally an underground secret town full of aliens, hybrids, mutants, and monsters near the city. Far enough that the yeerk pool stuff and facilities won’t run into it but still close to the city.
Theoretically, Ax (and any other aliens for that matter) could get a ride home. If he had money. Or something valuable enough to trade for either a ship or trip.
-- Undertown is staying out of things b/c the mayor and the majority of the inhabitants don’t really give a singular shit about what happens to the humans. Also wars are costly in lives and resources that they aren’t really willing to give without getting something in return.
They also aren’t worried about being invaded or infiltrated by b/c the city has the magical equivalent of a gleet biofilter over it. As in a shield that keeps out uninvited yeerks and humans.
-- Monsters from cryptozology, folklore, folktales, and mythology/religion are generally real. They are descended from the god/dragon/eldrich abomination Kur. Kur has been reincarnated as a 12-13 yr old Black kid who’s a genuinely good person and also friends/friendly with Kevin.
‘Cryptids‘ are generally all sapient and somewhat immortal unless killed. This is more likely to be true the smaller a species population is given that the magic of the species is divided evenly between all members. ie. Zon has lit been around for several million years.
Bigfoot is real. As are ghost deer. As are the giant dragons capable of swallowing the moon that sleep at the bottom of the ocean.
The mayor and the magical native inhabitants of Undertown aren’t worried about aliens b/c of the giant fucking dragons have fended off alien invasions before. Ya lasers don’t mean shit to giant snakes that can breathe in space and spit fire underwater.
Any space ships hanging out in the atmosphere will have to deal with atmospheric jellyfish that can shoot lightning. The sky jellies are absolutely capable of wreaking most ships if agitated.
-- There are human people who know about aliens on Earth.
The Plumbers. Who are a military/police group that enforce the Galvan interplanetary treaties and agreed upon laws. They do not believe that Earth is ready to know about aliens and would try to keep things either on the down low or erase the evidence. Not terribly liked due to corruption and biases that plague most chapters.
The active Earth chapters are dying out b/c of low to no recruitment. ANd the majority of the human members either retired or headed there.
There are bases littering the US specifically with ships and weapons sitting in them.
The Secret Scientists and allies. WHo are a collection of fringe scientists and secret agents who are aware of aliens, magic, monsters, super tech, supervillians, and etc and are keeping this information hidden from the general public and certain governments for various reasons.
While they don’t have the numbers they do have ships and tech capable of fighting aliens.
Dr. Beeman’s specialty is aliens and he got Earth included in the Galvan Milky Way peace treaty. He may attempt to negotiate with the yeerks. (hc: he is immune to pretty much all forms of mind control)
-- Supervillains exist
There is a vampire zombie clown that robs towns with his circus and he also steals people to eat after the show.
Honestly, Peicemeal would def try to eat an andalite, hork-bajir, taxxon, or yeerk.
VV Argost would probably be interested in the town with all the action and weird shit sightings.
--Andalites have a terrible reputation
Listen they’re tied to multiple genocides, are generally dicks to the more ‘primitive’ species, and are wannabe space cops.
No one actually likes them.
--Every planet has more fucking biodiversity b/c fuck these half-assed worlds.
Wibbly things?
Combine Z Space with Ledgerdomain? Or make it associated?
What the fuck are the Animorphs doing b/c I’m def not paying attention to them?
The Pack and Animorph interactions? I have no idea b/c the Pack would pretty quickly decide that they don’t wanna work with them.
How long would the war actually last with free horks, taxxon rebels, yeerk rebels, and freed human hosts working together to take them down?
