Steve injures his ankle in ninth grade and is forced to sit on the bleachers at P.E for 6 weeks. Here he meets Eddie "Sick Note for Life" Munson and the two of them become little gossipers about everyone in their grades.
The question is whispered into the dark against Steve's neck. The hand wrapped around Steve's waist holds him tighter, and lips brush against his neck as another question is whispered sleepily.
"Do you think there's another Steve and Eddie out there right now in some other universe that are just as in love as we are?"
Steve hums and pulls Eddie closer, his hand tracing mindless patterns on Eddie's back as he thinks, not that he has to. He knows that every version of himself would struggle not to fall for Eddie. He knows that there's a million other Steve's out there also hopelessly in love with a nerdy metalhead.
"I think so. I hope every version of me gets to fall in love with you." He presses a kiss to the top of Eddie's head and feels his boyfriend smile against his neck, a happy sigh slips from his lips as he tries to move even closer to Steve even though they are practically moulded together.
"I'm glad I found you in this universe." Eddie's voice is soft and only just heard over the loud tick of Steve's ceiling fan. He hopes that in another universe, his fan isn't so obnoxiously loud.
"I'd find you in every universe." Is the last thing Steve says before he's lulled to sleep by Eddie's steady breathing and the tick of the fan.

So for my Mac users I zipped this file on Windows and these files have become hidden on Mac. What you'll need to do is, once unzipped, open file and press Command, shift and . at the same time and the files will show up. Everyone else on Windows are okay, the files will show up no problem.
There are two compressed files: a .zip and a 7-zip the following files include a .package file, a .sims3pack, two previews and an info file.
So Black Sails doesn't make a point of religion at all, it very notably does not, given how much a part of people's lives it actually would have been. If you read primary sources at the time you can't get away from it. And that's totally fine, valid choice, wouldn't have been better the other way. But then they DO have these scripture quotes from Thomas, his faith and his approach to faith was important. And we have ABSOLUTELY no indication that Flint gives a single fuck, except, season four opens with:
Flint: "And the Lord said unto Rebecca, two nations are in thy womb. Two peoples within you who shall be divided. One shall be stronger than the other. And the older shall serve the younger."
Twins... as close as two things can get to being the same one, and what's the first thing they do to each other? Fight over who gets to be the first one to see the light of day. And here I sit at the head of an army of men, each of whom, present company included, has probably at some point considered killing the man he now fights alongside, each of whom, present company included, has certainly considered killing me.
And we pivot directly to Silver saying "If it makes you feel any better, I haven't considered killing you in months," which is such a perfect line because he does not want to talk about ANY of that.
And I don't really know where I'm going with this except I just think it's fascinating this way in which Flint is acting like Thomas did, especially relative to Silver. Especially considering the way Silver dismisses it, which feels very much like the way Lt. McGraw would have dismissed it.
A relationship that, when it goes wrong, you can tell the other person that you need a break to reassess your relationship, and they will discuss this calmly, let you go, and then go away and think about what you said, agree that they were in the wrong, and start working on ways to fix their own behaviour;
OR
A relationship that, when you want to leave, they tell you that you don't really want to go, that you're happier with them, that you should isolate yourself from your family and friends so you can stay with them - and when you disagree and tell them the relationship is just a matter of necessity, they start in on your other relationship (which they have apparently decided is the reason you're going back, despite you making no mention of it), telling you that it's broken, that you shouldn't go back to him - and when you tell them to butt out of your personal business, they tell you they're entitled to have an opinion because you've been stranded alone together for a long time...
Is that or is that not what happened? Because I remember Lila making herself pretty clear on these points, but apparently a bunch of people think we should disregard a woman's expressed opinion about her own life, and go with what she's being told. Because Five knows best, amirite? Gosh he's so smart and clever! And he deserves this - he deserves Lila, no matter what Lila herself says. He's owed it by the universe, because he had a bad life.
Lila did have another relationship like that, where she was told what to do, kept in the dark, told that the other person knew what was best for her...and it wasn't Diego.
Five deli would've been way more interesting if we saw Five’s of all different ages and varying levels of insane. Brisket Five should stay the same though.
is this a safe space to admit that i actually never forgave wwdits for the marwa plot and my enthusiasm for the show never fully recovered or are we not ready for that conversation yet
