Most character centric ds9 episode have a certain theme or fit in with the character’s arc and then you have O’Brien, whose episodes are just putting him through the most random insane shit

Something I can’t stop thinking about it. In S7E11 “Adventures in Babysitting”, Frank tells Dean to make it through to the end of the week happy to be alive, with a smile, and at the end of it do it all over again the next week, even if it’s not real. Fake it ‘til you make it.

During the next 8 seasons, how much of Dean being goofy, of Dean laughing and smiling during those brief moments between cases and terror, do you think is him faking it?

Sure, there’s obviously moments where he’s genuinely happy—or some semblance of it—especially after making a honest home in the bunker, but do you think S9 Dean is remembering Frank’s words? S13? S15? Do you think in the time after Castiel’s death and before his own he’s remembering them and that’s the only way he can keep going until he’s finally granted a hunter’s death?

Do you think, even as he’s traveling through heaven, even as he’s helping young John and Mary in The Winchesters, that he’s thinking about those words because he doesn’t know how to actually be happy? Doesn’t know how to keep going, even at the end?

Maybe. Not even consciously thinking about Frank during it, but just thinking…fake it. Fake it until the end and then fake it all over again. Fake it even if you never make it. Just fake it with a smile.

Without those words from Frank so many years ago, would Dean have been able to make it for as long as he did? And, in the end, when he’s reunited with Sam and Bobby and Castiel and maybe even his parents (even if I boo and hiss that) and everyone else he loved and lost, do you think he can finally stop faking it?

SINCE THIS SEASON HAS COME BACK I'VE BEEN SO IN LOVE WITH HOW MUCH BETTER THEY ARE PACING AND WRITING!!!! So sorry but I've been struggling to keep watching with how badly they've been pacing the last 3 seasons.

I'm also ecstatic that we have 16 EPISODES this season! Probably why the pace and writing is better because I can't stand these new episode structures in shows that are only 6-10 episodes and you hardly get any character development with that kind of structure.

Anyway, while I haven't read these books either I've read clips notes. John Grey and Claire get married and have sex in the books because they truly believe Jamie is dead, but he obviously comes back and I'm not exactly sure what happens after that apart from John Grey confessing, he has carnal knowledge of Claire and Jamie loses his shit over it. Will the show really kill Jamie off, I don't know.

Ian and Rachel hopefully are able to get a life going. I was so worried last episode I thought the old fucker was going to kill Rachel or Rolo.

FINALLY we get to see Brianna! I don't think Jem and Rob went back they're still in the present! If they're not with Roger in the time 1759, I think, and they're not in Jamie and Claire's time they have to still be in the present surely. The intruder I'm not sure who it could be other than Rob Cameron.
