Stellaron Hunters and Astral Express Parallels

So, I've noticed that the Stellaron Hunters are basically a darker, murdery, and morally grey parallel version of the more heroic Astral Express, with every member mirroring another from the other group. Two sides of the same coin, if you will. First thing I'd like to point out, both factions don't really follow any current aeon. They "follow" (very loose term here) the missing-in action Akivili and the "Destiny" that Elio forsees. Both factions also are deeply involved with Stellarons(we encounter a stellaron on every planet, the Stellaron Hunters hunt them. Obviously) Here's some similarities I've thought of between the members and some theories based off each other: !!SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Dan Heng and Blade:

Both from Xianzhou,

Immortal in some way(Blade's self-regenerating and Dan Heng's reincarnations)

Same gender

Dan heng's five star form enhances his basic attack, like Blade, who I BET was ALSO a four star before the mara and Jing Liu incident

Similar age? Don't really know exact timeline between them

Both feature flowers in their gameplay(lotus flowers and spider lilies)

Himeko and Kafka:

Both intelligent women

The pseudo-moms of their faction.

I might be pulling out of my ass here, but I'd like to point out that both of them use both a ranged weapon(Himeko's laser and Kafka's gun) and also a melee weapon(Kafka's katana and Himeko's grator).

Since they are each others parallel, I'd like to make the assumption that since Himeko was the first one to join the Astral Express, that Kafka was the first one to join Elio. It just fits with the known info we have and clears up any ambiguity, but you don't have to strictly adhere by it lol.

The being who leads their group in the direction wanted(conducter, scriptwriter, best destiny, best path to blaze)

You assume they are the cute mascot at first, but then there is something...exceptional about them, that you can't quite pin down.

Both are sentient and can presumably talk(Elio might just write to communicate, how would that work though? Toe beans? Meow to text? Lmao)

March 7th's mysterious pasttttt. Like, the similarities between Danheng and Blade weren't revealed until his five star form was revealed and I'm making the theory that when March 7th's mysterious past is revealed, the similarities between her and Silver Wolf will appear!!!!

So Silver Wolf is from Punklord, is extremely accomplished and powerful, chaotic neutral with a sense of wanderlust. I don't know much about her(don't have her character/character story) so I can't say much more, but what I do know seems pretty plausible for March's former self.

It supports my theory that March 7th's five star form will be Nihility. Imbibiter Lunae was Destruction, like Blade. The memokeeper in March's quest said her past would "only bring her pain". How nihilistic is that? Either way, I'm definitely pulling xD

Stelle/Caleus and Firefly/Sam(the best for last ;)

So this is the one that really cemented this theory into my mind. So far, you might have noticed that every member's mirror image is the same gender(with the exception of Catlio and PomPom, I'll talk about it in the comments). But Trailblazer has TWO genders/personas. You know who ALSO has two genders/personas?FIREFLY/SAMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some theory and more similarities between them

They both are the explosive power powerhouse of their group(Stellaron and Sam's firepower)

Both pretty smart(dubious) and funny(hilarious, the both of them)

They both eat questionable things...Trailblazer's trash consumables and Firefly's woodchip Oak Cake(seriously, read the description, do they have iron stomachs or something??)

...So they might have iron stomachs.

Both were presumably artificially made. We know Firefly/Sam is(born to fight in a war) and the Trailblazer is a vessel of a Stellaron. There has to be some funky, wonky, genetic/biological makeup for that.

Welt Yang and no one lmao

Anyway, I presume he doesn't have any parallel bc he's from another universe. I don't know much cause I haven't played Honkai Impact. Something about a comic and "herscherr"? Idrk but. I suppose Luocha could join the Stellaron Hunters. That would be crazy as hell and if it happens I CALLED IT, but it probably won't. Probably.

There is also the theory Sunday joined the Stellaron Hunters. It's honestly really interesting and if that's true.....Welt Yang and Sunday don't have any similarities so that's tossed out the window. So, that only leaves the possibilty that we will have a mirrored someone of Sunday joining the Astral Express in the future. That would be INSANE but fun as hell like, can you imagine?

On another, slightly less speculative note, I'd like to point out that the five stars of the Astral Express have the same paths as the Stellaron Hunters. DHIL and Blade, are both Destruction. The Trailblazer started off as Destruction and Firefly/Sam is Destruction. As I theorized above, March 7th's five star form is likely Nihility, just like Silver Wolf. Except for Himeko and Kafka. Hmmmm

It is also my theory that Kafka was supposed to be Erudition, like Himeko, but the Stellaron Disaster on her homeplanet altered her path to Nihility. We know how smart Kafka is and we've seen paths change, Dan Heng changed to Hunt after doing away his vidyadhara features, and we have switched paths multiple times now. But we know we and Dan Heng can switch between paths anytime. I think Kafka's case is different, in that she can't switch and the Stellaron permanently altered her, removing her fear and switching her Path.

So this concludes my rant, are you convinced yet ;)? It's really interesting that the two factions mirror each other so deeply. I am getting the message that, whatever our fates are, they are deeply intertwined.

hmmm i think the hair drawing is what i'm most proud of?? i'm not suuper happy with where i'm at with it but it's also by far the most difficult editing thing i do and i've improved a lot so i'm still proud of it i think?? plus i think even mediocre hair drawing can really elevate a render especially when aiden's hair looks TERRIBLE in renders lmao

i do enjoy the hair drawing a lot depending on the day but lately i've had a lot of fun drawing shadows and highlights+adding glowiness (to kas's veins and lights and stuff). it doesn't take that long usually but it's just sooo satisfying seeing things come together

sammmm thank you for this omg. okay first of all i do have an elstan professors au that i posted about once so i'm imagining this in that bc mike, el, and stan all being professors together means so much to me lol (also wheelzier elstan double dates are simply too good lol)

okay i'm picturing mike as an english professor in this one, maybe a creative writing professor, and his office is next to stan's in the main academic building. and richie's always bothering stan in his office, barging in even when the door's closed bc he knows he's allowed no matter how much shit stan gives him for it. but the offices are on the fourth floor, and richie gets bored waiting for elevators, so he's just climbed three flights of stairs, so his mind is a little occupied thinking about how much he hates stairs, and he's got a new bit he wants to run by stan, so he's distracted and counts the doors wrong and doesn't read the name plate, and he's in the middle of saying, "staniel my maniel i have struck comedy fucking gold" when he realizes the guy at the desk is not, in fact, his best friend stanley uris, but instead one of the most beautiful men richie has ever seen.

since mike teaches creative writing, his classes are pretty small--usually no bigger than 15-20 people. it's also halfway through the semester at this point, so he knows all of his students. this man is not one of his students, and he has not knocked, and mike's office hours ended ten minutes ago. this person is also very loud. all of these things ruffle mike's feathers. so he has an incredibly bitchy look on his face when he asks, "can i help you?" and richie falls in love immediately lmao

but yeah el and stan start dating eventually and richie absolutely jumps at the double date opportunities. also, richie gets kicked out of stan's office sometimes when el and stan are spending time together, so what else is he gonna do besides bother his friend's cute work neighbor?

fast forward and they actually get to talking about their interests bc richie's a comedian but he's interested in starting a narrative-form podcast, and the ways in which format affects content across various narrative media is mike's favorite subject, so he can't help but nerd out about it, and richie is actually pretty smart and funny, and maybe mike could use a little more loud in his life (not that he's immediately ready to admit that). richie also blatantly flirts with mike in a way mike has never really experienced before, and it's new and unexpected and he's so surprised to realize that he likes the attention and the fawning and all of richie's antics. richie pays attention in a similar way to how mike pays attention, but mike's gotten good at deflecting attention yet here richie is starting down into his core and it's incredibly uncomfortable for mike at first bc it highlights a yearning he hadn't even known he'd buried. richie just... makes mike feel things he hadn't let himself know he could feel before which scares mike but is so so beautiful and exciting in the long run

el is also very overwhelmed by richie at first, but not even mike or stan can keep up with her feminist theory talk like richie can, and he makes her laugh, and she likes that he's openly strange and off-beat in public, so they become fast friends. she also picks up on mike's crush on richie before mike even lets himself acknowledge it and you know she teases him for it so much. cue elstan scheming to get wheelzier together <333

Buck wakes up startled, not really sure what awoke him until he hears it again. Christopher’s crying. He jumps up from the couch where he was sleeping—there’s no way he could’ve slept in Eddie’s room—and rushes into Christopher’s room. he’s curled up near the top of his bed, the covers are thrown above him, and he’s crying into his pillow.

“Hey, buddy,” Buck murmurs as he walks closer, turning his bedside lamp on, “What’s wrong?”

“I-I saw something,” Christopher sobs. Buck reaches for the blankets, but they pull against his hand because Christopher tightened his hold.

“What did it look like?” Buck asks, unsure of how to approach the situation. He looks around the room and doesn’t see anything, he assumes it was just a nightmare Chris was having, so he went at it the way he thought best.

“It was b-big and scary, but it just looked like a shadow,” the blankets shift a bit.

“Mm. Well, there’s no one else here Chris, unless you count me.”

“You’re not scary Buck,” Christopher giggles a little bit, peeking out from under the blankets and quickly looking around.

Buck puts a hand to his chest and makes a shocked face, “really?” he gasps.

Christopher giggles again, and Buck wipes his tear-stained cheeks.

“But really, there isn’t anything in your room,” Buck says.

“Are you sure?” Christopher asks, looking around once more, even though he doesn’t have his glasses so he can’t see that much of the room around him.

“I’m sure,” Buck smiles at him, and slowly Chris smiles back.

“Okay,” Christopher sighs. Buck stands up and walks over to the door.

“Goodnight, Chris.”

“Wait, you’re leaving?” Chris asks.

“We both need to go to sleep,” Buck says softly. He wants to go, but he really can’t when Chris gives him the most innocent, puppy dog face, so he walks back over and sits down.

“Will you read me a story?” He asks, pointing to his bookshelf. It’s the book that Buck had been reading him for the last few times he’s spent the night, so he gets up and grabs it before sitting back down.

“Okay, but only one chapter,” Buck adds, and Christopher nods.

Eddie steps out of his truck, grabbing his bag in the passenger seat in the process. He passes Buck’s jeep in the driveway and unlocks the door quietly as to not wake anyone up. The clock he passes reads 4:28 am, he had an entire 24-hour shift and so Buck was babysitting Chris for him. He’s been picking up some extra shifts here and there because he wants to get some more cash to take Christopher—and Buck—He looks over at the couch expecting to see a sprawled out already asleep Buck, but it’s empty. The bed is made, just empty. He sets his bag down in the hallway and decides to go check on Chris, so he opens the door slowly and almost gushes at the sight. Christopher’s still under the covers, but Buck is wrapped around him, a book discarded at the end of the bed.

Eddie walks closer, gives Christopher a forehead kiss, and gently rests his hand on Buck’s cheek. If only, he thinks, this is what I came to every day when I got home.

He plans to go take a shower and climb into his own bed, but he’s already here, and there’s enough room for him to slide right behind Buck and spoon him, so he does. He snuggles up against Buck, breathing in his scent and sighing in content. He swears that for a second, he feels Buck stiffen, but it’s gone so fast that Eddie thinks he probably was just imagining it. He’s exhausted and doesn’t want to go all the way to the room, or at least that’s the excuse he’ll use in the morning.

- I can’t believe Avantika’s dead (again), both of those battles were so cool and stressful, I literally gasped out loud at multiple points and I was convinced that Avantika had gotten away to release Uka’toa (Uka’toa), but Fjord getting the final blow was so fitting for his arc and banishing Uka’toa from his life again, I’m so proud of him <33 Also the Eiselcross Arc has started fr now and I’m so excited to see where it takes us!!
