Hi! A little update since January is ending (wow, time flies!):
I am not, in fact, dead. I am simply doing everything in my power to procrastinate the buildable update to Cozy Rustic Kitchen because drawing clutter SUCKS. What do you mean my canvas is 16x16 pixels?!
That procrastination ended up sending me to a different rabbit hole, and now I'm swamped by commissions, so it's an excuse for me to not post any mods of my own for a while. I still have a roadmap of stuff I want to work on, it's just that most of my energy have been sapped by commissions, and now I just want to play Stardew in my free time (unheard-of words from a mod author, I know).
In the meantime, have this teeny tiny preview of the items for buildable Cozy Rustic Kitchen! We've got modular counters and kitchen islands, in addition to planned kitchen clutter and functional appliances!

Charting the Course to SAP HANA Cloud
The push towards SAP HANA cloud shift stems from the need for agility and responsiveness in a dynamic business climate. The cloud promises reduced infrastructure expenses, robust data analytics, and the nimbleness to address changing needs quickly. However, for many companies, transitioning from on-premise SAP HANA to the cloud involves navigating concerns around data security, performance, and potentially relinquishing control of business-critical ERP systems.
SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud: A Tailored Offering
In light of these challenges, SAP presented the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC), a private cloud service designed expressly for mission-critical workloads. HEC advertises no compromise on performance, integration, security, failover, or disaster recovery. It spotlights versatility, strong customer support, and end-to-end coverage - from strategic planning to application management. This offering intends to provide the cloud’s agility and innovation under SAP’s direct guidance and expertise.
Actual Delivery of HANA Enterprise Cloud
Despite SAP’s messaging, the HEC’s delivery involves a consortium of third-party providers, including HPE, IBM, CenturyLink, Dimension Data, and Virtustream. SAP collaborates with these partners, who bid on projects often awarded to the lowest bidder, to leverage specialized capabilities while upholding SAP’s standards.
Weighing the Pros and Cons
Partnering with competent vendors ensures clients receive secure, best-practice SAP hosting and support. HEC’s comprehensive solution integrates licensing, infrastructure, and support with touted scalability and integration.
However, several customer challenges emerge. Firstly, leveraging SAP’s brand for cloud hosting and SAP managed services risks diminishing anticipated cost savings. Secondly, the lack of direct engagement with third-party providers raises concerns about entrusting critical ERP operations to unseen partners. This dynamic obscures visibility and control over SAP HANA migration and management.
Furthermore, the absence of a direct relationship between SAP HANA users and cloud suppliers may complicate support, especially for urgent issues warranting rapid response. While SAP’s ecosystem aims to guarantee quality and security, intermediation can hinder the timely resolution of critical situations, affecting system uptime and operations.
SAP HANA Cloud: A Strategic Decision
As SAP systems become increasingly vital, migrating SAP HANA is not simply a technical or operational choice but a strategic one. SAP HANA transcends a database or software suite – it constitutes a competitive advantage that, when optimized, can spur tremendous innovation and success. This migration necessitates meticulous planning, execution, and governance to ensure the transition empowers rather than compromises SAP HANA’s strategic value.
In this context, selecting the ideal cloud model and service providers represents critical decisions. Companies must scrutinize partners beyond cost, evaluating track records, SAP skills, security protocols, and the aptitude to deliver personalized, responsive service.
The Future SAP HANA Cloud Trajectory
As we advance into 2024, the SAP DATA Cloud Analytics landscape continues evolving. Innovations in cloud technology, security, and service creation provide new prospects for migration planning. Firms must stay updated on cloud service advancements, SAP’s strategic direction, and cloud shift best practices to navigate this transition successfully.
To accomplish this, companies should:
Collaborate cross-functionally to align SAP HANA cloud plans with broader business goals and technology roadmaps.
Ensure chosen cloud environments and suppliers meet rigorous data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
Assess infrastructure ability to support SAP HANA performance requirements and scale amid fluctuating demands.
Institute clear governance and support structures for effective issue resolution throughout and post-migration.
Transitioning SAP HANA to the cloud is complex but ultimately rewarding, unlocking efficiency, agility, and innovation when executed deliberately. By weighing the strategic, operational, and technical dynamics, businesses can drive this migration smoothly, fully capturing SAP HANA’s power to fuel future prosperity.

Am gonna have to come up with a proper roadmap for "Path of Redemption" (har har). I'm basically just missing a couple connecting lines of plot, plan-wise. Am also resisting the urge to rewrite sections of the currently posted chapters.
Am forcing self to eat gluten for accurate celiac testing. It's been interesting mapping out how my symptoms progress. Though, unfortunately, aside from pain and general discomfort, have also realized that when I'm headed for (and into) they chills phase and progressing into shakes/low-grade fever I also have my mental and physical energy sapped. So, eventuallyI might find myself with more energy, but for now I'm living in slow mo.
Hannigram captivity fic is at 10k words, though. I'm still not certain where I'm going with it, exactly, but it will be somewhere between the two extremes of Murder Husbands and Everybody Dies. 😆
I've nearly reached what is, I think, the end of ACT 1, so to speak. I know the purpose of ACT 2, and I suppose it will inform ACT 3/the ending.. well, one can hope.

sap migration
Overview of SAP migration and its importance
SAP migration is the process of moving all or part of a company's SAP system from one environment to another. This can involve transferring data, applications, and configurations to a new hardware infrastructure or transitioning the system from an on-premises installation to the cloud. The importance of SAP migration cannot be overstated, as it enables organizations to take advantage of new technologies, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
One key benefit of SAP migration is the ability to leverage updated features and functionalities offered by newer versions of SAP software. As technology advances at a rapid pace, it is crucial for businesses to stay current in order to remain competitive. By migrating their SAP systems, companies can adopt new modules and tools that empower them with improved analytics capabilities, mobile functionality, and integration with other business applications.
Another significant advantage of SAP migration lies in its potential cost savings. Legacy systems require ongoing maintenance and support which incur high expenses over time. Migrating these systems onto modern platforms allows businesses to streamline processes and optimize resource utilization. Moreover, cloud-based migrations provide opportunities for pay-as-you-go models that eliminate upfront capital investments.
What is SAP migration?
SAP migration refers to the process of moving or transitioning data, applications, and other resources from one SAP system to another. As businesses grow and evolve, they may need to upgrade their existing SAP systems to newer versions or migrate their on-premise SAP solutions to cloud-based platforms. The goal of SAP migration is to ensure a seamless transfer of data and functionalities while minimizing disruption to business operations.

One key aspect of SAP migration is the careful planning and preparation required before the actual transition takes place. This includes assessing the existing infrastructure, identifying dependencies, and designing a roadmap for the migration process. It is crucial for businesses to understand that successful SAP migration goes beyond simply transferring data; it involves optimizing processes, mitigating risks, and ensuring compatibility with other systems within the organization.
Another factor worth considering in SAP migration is choosing the right approach. There are various methodologies like greenfield, brownfield, or selective data transition that can be employed based on specific business requirements. Each approach offers unique benefits and challenges that should be evaluated beforehand. Ultimately, embracing modern technologies through effective SAP migration enables organizations to streamline their operations, improve efficiency, increase scalability, and gain a competitive edge in today's fast-paced business landscape
Reasons for SAP migration
Reasons for SAP migration are diverse and varied, but they all share a common goal: to enhance business efficiency and competitiveness. One major driver is the need for modernization. Many organizations still run on outdated legacy systems that struggle to keep up with the pace of technological advances. By migrating to SAP, businesses gain access to state-of-the-art software and tools that can streamline processes, automate tasks, and improve overall productivity.
Another compelling reason for SAP migration is the desire for integration. In today's interconnected world, siloed systems are simply not sufficient to meet the demands of complex business operations. SAP offers a comprehensive suite of applications that seamlessly integrate with each other as well as with third-party systems. This enables companies to consolidate their IT landscape, eliminate data inconsistencies, and enable real-time visibility into key business metrics across departments.
Additionally, cost savings play a significant role in driving organizations towards SAP migration. As businesses grow and scale, so do their IT needs. Maintaining multiple custom-built systems or disparate software solutions can be an expensive endeavor with high maintenance costs and licensing fees. By consolidating everything under one SAP umbrella, companies can achieve economies of scale while benefiting from regular updates and support from a single vendor.
Steps involved in SAP migration process
The process of SAP migration is a complex and critical task that requires careful planning and execution. The first step in this process is to conduct a thorough assessment of the existing system, including hardware, software, and data. This will help identify any gaps or issues that need to be addressed during the migration.
Once the assessment is complete, the next step involves creating a detailed migration plan. This plan should outline the sequence of tasks, resources required, and estimated timelines for each stage of the migration. It is important to involve key stakeholders from various departments to ensure smooth coordination and communication throughout the process.

After finalizing the plan, it's time to prepare the new environment for SAP migration. This includes setting up hardware infrastructure, installing necessary software components, and configuring network connections. Data cleansing and transformation are also essential steps at this stage to ensure that only relevant data is migrated to avoid cluttering or overburdening the new system.
Best practices for successful SAP migration
1. Understanding the Complexity: One of the key best practices for a successful SAP migration is to thoroughly understand the complexity of the task at hand. Migrating an entire system can be a daunting process, and it's important to approach it with a clear plan and realistic expectations. This includes conducting a thorough audit of your current system, understanding its strengths and limitations, and identifying any potential challenges that may arise during migration.
2. Building a Comprehensive Timeline: Another crucial aspect of successful SAP migration is creating a comprehensive timeline that outlines all necessary tasks and milestones. This ensures that everyone involved in the process has a clear understanding of their responsibilities and deadlines. It's important to factor in ample time for testing, troubleshooting, and training to minimize disruptions once the migration is complete.
3. Prioritizing Data Security: Data security should always be top priority when migrating an SAP system. Implementing stringent security measures throughout the entire migration process is vital to ensure that sensitive data remains confidential and protected from external threats. Additionally, having backup systems in place can help mitigate any potential loss or damage during the transition period.
By following these best practices, organizations can maximize their chances of executing a successful SAP migration while minimizing risks associated with data loss, downtime, or other unforeseen issues. With careful planning, adequate resources, and strong collaboration between all stakeholders involved, businesses can seamlessly transition to their new SAP environment without significant disruptions to daily operations.
Conclusion: Importance of proper planning and execution
Proper planning and execution are crucial elements for success in any endeavor. Whether you are running a business or embarking on a personal project, having a well-thought-out plan and executing it efficiently can make all the difference. SKYPER BUSINESS SOLution recognizes the significance of these two aspects and offers comprehensive tools to streamline your planning and execution processes.

Why Security Optimization is so important?

Security Optimization as a Service Portfolio is the right solution to prevent a full downtime and costly security incidents by analyzing high-risk violations and taking security measures proactively.
Read through this Portfolio article from SAP that details what it can do for you.
By using Security Optimization Service, you can avoid business interruptions and ensure that the security aspect of SAP solutions is managed properly, reducing risk. As a result of this service, you will be able to concentrate on your daily business requirements instead of spending time handling the complexities of security maintenance. The advantages are:
Decrease the risk of a system intrusion
Ensure the confidentiality of your business data
Ensure the authenticity of your users
Substantially reduce the risk of costly downtime due to wrong user interaction
Where to start?
The EarlyWatch Alert (EWA) report is the most comprehensive snapshot of your SAP systems. The Security section gives you a detailed analysis, more accurate information to keep your SAP systems protected along with the root cause analysis of various findings.
Refer to the SAP note # 863362 to know more about the security checks in the EWA report. Incase if the EWA report generation is not yet configured, refer to SAP note # 2282944 (EarlyWatch Alert: Solution Manager 7.2 how to set up/configure EWA reports or add email recipients) that details the steps to configure.
Should you need help setting up the Solution Manager, our experts can create a SolMan system and set up the EWA configuration in just 10 to 15 days.
Is EarlyWatch (EWA) report itself is enough?
Certainly not. While EWA gives you a snapshot of your system, Solution Manager has lot many features that could help you to safeguard your SAP system. Experts recommend implementing additional tools like the Security Optimization Service, System Recommendations configuration in Solution Manager, or Change Diagnostics and Configuration Validation, also called as E2E Change Analysis and Change Reporting and Configuration Validation in Solution Manager.
These tools can be configured easily that adds an additional layer of security.
Great. Will this be sufficient for me to keep my system secure?
May be not. No solution can give you 100% guarantee. Monitoring the systems against the Security baseline is much important and is a continuous activity. In addition to utilizing the standard Security baselines by SAP, experts recommend to use additional applications such as SAP GRC Process Control, Risk Management etc.,
ToggleNow boasts an easy-to-use reporting application called GAMS360. It provides 100+ baseline reports for review, so it’s easy to spot problems as they arise. Further, the system trigger alerts for immediate review by the system owners/controllers.
Can these tools help me to protect my SAP systems completely?
Are these tools capable enough to detect and stop all sorts of risks associated with my SAP systems?
There are a variety of ways to protect your SAP systems. As mentioned, no single tool/product can make your SAP system free from risks. Incase if you have an authorization setup built a decade ago, you may also need to consider an SAP Security Engagement which will provide you with an expert-guided analysis and approach for your SAP landscape.
ToggleNow enables its customers to leverage their business processes and streamline their security measures as part of the SAP Digital Transformation program.
One that will help you to discover the ASIS and derive a TOBE Roadmap. Second, that will identify the various processes where automation can be implemented quickly.
We take the EarlyWatch report as the baseline and also run various scripts to extract the current status of the system. This will be our starting point to offer detailed services mainly around Security Optimization.
Combining the results of the initial discovery, the security policy of the company, and the subject matter expertise, we define the SAP Security Baseline and make the necessary tweaks in the application, and the tools selected.
What else is required?
Well, there is no big list. We additionally recommend our customers to “Stay clean” and “Stay in-compliant” which is possible with the use of the right GRC solutions.
In case if you have SAP GRC in place, it is of utmost importance to Upgrade the SAP GRC version to the latest and utilizes all the features such as User Access Review, SoD Review, Firefighter ID review, and so on.

Celebrating Milestones to Sustain Motivation
Long academic campaigns—boards, competitive exams, or year‑long courses—can sap motivation. Celebrating milestones kept me energized throughout:
Define Milestones Break the roadmap into chunks: finishing a chapter, scoring 80% on a mock test, or completing a project.
Choose Rewards After each milestone, I rewarded myself: a movie night, a small outing, or trying a new game. Tangible rewards made the process enjoyable.
Share Success Posting mini‑achievements in my tutor’s group on Hub of Mentors earned supportive comments—boosting my morale even more.
Visual Progress Chart I maintained a colorful progress chart on my wall—each completed milestone got a sticker. Seeing it fill up was incredibly satisfying.
Reflect & Reset At each milestone, my mentor helped me reflect: “What worked?” and “What could I improve?” This reflection ensured continuous growth, not just celebration.
Celebrating milestones turned a daunting syllabus into a series of achievable goals—and kept motivation high until the finish line. If you want a mentor who celebrates every win, big or small, check out Hub of Mentors for a supportive learning community!

Top Blockchain Application Development Services in 2025
Over recent years, the blockchain sector has reached a certain level of maturity. Adoption is currently peaking across industries such as banking, healthcare, logistics, and digital identity. Hence, businesses are not tinkering with blockchain anymore; they want to build real, scalable solutions. Providing Blockchain app development services forms the backbone of these innovations, assisting businesses in transforming their decentralized concepts into reality through expert consultation, development, and support. Such services become vital for any company wishing to stay ahead, cut inefficiencies, and forge a secure digital ecosystem worthy of user trust.
1. End-to-End Blockchain Consulting and Strategy
The very start of any successful blockchain solution rests upon a strategic foundation. Top engineers don't just dive into writing code but guide you in every step of crafting a solution. In general, the consulting process comprises the identification of use cases, choice of the right blockchain protocol (be it Ethereum, Solana, or Hyperledger), and if applicable, the designing of tokenomics. This is followed by an assessment in 2025 of how scalable, interoperable, and fit within regulations each solution is considered to be. They then begin working alongside the stakeholders in defining the milestones that they must achieve on the path to avoid technical pitfalls and create a realistic roadmap that aligns itself with the short-term objectives and the long-term vision of another party. Hence, this layer ensures that strategic projects are not built and their success lies within this frame.
2. Smart Contract Development
Smart contracts are programmable engines behind almost every blockchain application. These contracts self-execute, thereby removing intermediaries, limiting chances of fraud, and allowing for consistent execution. In 2025, top-tier blockchain development firms provide high-end smart contract development with a few extra features such as gas optimization, modular logic, upgradeability, and a fluid way to consume external data from oracles. The companies undertake further testing in testnets and audit across tools and manual auditing. Whether you are trying to build a DeFi protocol, an NFT marketplace, or a DAO voting system, the backbone is a good smart contract that is usually ensured by top developers for strength and safety.
3. dApp Development Across Multiple Platforms
dApps are becoming crucial to countless industries, their doors open to censorship resistance, user control, and global reach. The most trusted blockchain app developers in the year 2025 will provide full-cycle dApp development, beginning with user-centric design and finalizing with a rock-solid backend infrastructure and blockchain layer integration. They have the capability to make the application cross-chain, like Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, or BNB Chain. Services also extend to wallet integrations (such as MetaMask and WalletConnect), gasless transactions, and token gating. Furthermore, the professionals are now including AI capabilities inside the dApp for enhanced user experience, workflow automation, and decision support.
4. Blockchain Integration with Legacy Systems
Many enterprises operate on legacy infrastructure that simply does not support decentralized applications. Yet, the best blockchain service providers foster the capacity to address this gap through custom-built middleware solutions. These integrations connect the blockchain networks with CRMs or ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle; cloud environments, including AWS and Azure; and conventional databases. With such advanced feature capabilities as real-time syncing, event triggers, and data mirroring between the on-chain and off-chain layers, companies can go the last mile and apply blockchains in operations without interrupting any processes. Moreover, besides acting as technical compatibility services, they add alternative layers for compliance and audit trails that regulated industries may require, such as finance and healthcare.
5. NFT and Tokenization Solutions
NFT technologies will make everything possible to be tokenized across industries everywhere in the year 2025-from tokenizing of properties, luxury items, digital identities, to academic credentials. Major blockchain developers deliver an end-to-end NFT solution including token creation (ERC-721, ERC-1155, etc.), marketplace development, cross-chain minting, and intricate advanced metadata management. Compatibility with legal regulations incorporating royalties, auction systems, and secondary sale mechanisms is also considered. With an increasing demand to tokenize real-world assets, companies are relying on experienced developers to build secure, scalable platforms that enable liquidity and digital ownership.
6. Private and Consortium Blockchain Development
Private blockchain systems, and more so consortium ones, are preferred in many businesses to control access, increase transaction speed, and maintain confidentiality, in contrast to public systems that are ideal for transparency. Custom solutions are provided by blockchain developers in 2025 using Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda, and Quorum, among others. These services include setting up the network, managing permissions, deploying smart contracts, assigning roles and access, and more. Defining governance structures will also be aided by them together with processes for onboarding and rules for consortium members. For industries such as supply chain, insurance, or healthcare, where privacy and control are a top concern, these private blockchain solutions strike a perfect balance between innovation and compliance.
7. Blockchain Maintenance and Support
Once your blockchain application goes live, it needs to be continuously monitored and maintained to remain functional, secure, and updated. The elite service providers offer 24/7 monitoring, performance optimization, scalability improvements, and bug fixing on the fly. They provide dashboards for real-time analytics and support upgrades when protocols differ and even have features for end-user support. A proactive approach to maintenance will ensure that your blockchain app continues to deliver value, adapt to user demands, and comply with network upgrades or regulatory mandates. Long-term support is especially vital in keeping up with the rapid advancement brought about in the blockchain landscape.
8. Web3 Wallet and Exchange Development
Since wallets and exchanges make the bridge to the blockchain world, they have to act as the foundational pillars of Web3. By 2025, crème de la crème developers will be building Web3 wallets furnished with biometric login support, multi-chain token support, staking options, and DEXs-in-the-app themselves. They also make sure to engineer safe, compliant crypto exchanges, both decentralized and centralized, bearing features such as real-time trade engines, liquidity management, fiat gateways, and user verification workings. The applications should support heavy load, attack resilience, and have a flawless user experience on a desktop as well as on mobile.
Conclusion
The increase in blockchain adoption in 2025 changed the transparency, automation, and security expectations of conducting business. However, developing a successful blockchain solution requires more than just passion: it takes skills, planning, and execution. The greatest opportunities decentralization has to give are granted to those who choose a firm that offers trustworthy, scalable, and future-ready custom blockchain app development services. When it comes to solving business problems through blockchain, smart contract development, dApp development, NFT development, and enterprise blockchain development, the right partner will ensure that the blockchain story of the client is both creative and meaningful.
